Richard had been fairly pissed about the entire situation. Steaming mad one might say. Considering white mist was literally coming off of his body. It wasn't so much that he was angry about the outcome of Regulus joining the dark angels, or about Temalchaus literally appearing out of fucking nowhere to recruit him. The thing that pissed him off the most was the effort to end product ratio in which there was too much effort from their side and too little product to be had. The trio walked out of the building and continued on there way. Richard looked at the place, having half a mind to burn the entire thing to the ground. The man said he wouldn't mind living in hellfire, so might as well get him accommodated to it. Nevertheless, Richard moved beyond it and went to the cars with the others. Not today, the place would only burn when he was sure Regulus would be in there to feel the flames billowing around him. Only then.

The gang had eventually made it back to their hotel, and ended up staying the night there. Once there, they each went to their rooms and fell asleep. What a story they'd have to tell tomorrow.

Today was such an interesting day, but alas Regulus felt fatigue from it. He questioned where he was at the moment but he knew that answer will be found the next day. Succumbing to his fatigue, Regulus merely went on the bed and drifted off to sleep upon reaching the bed. There were many things awaiting him and he was looking quite forward to whatever was coming up for him in the future.

After finishing his adventure moment, Alistair walked back into the castle and began walking back to get some rest. He continued to walk on up until he noticed a few signs on the doors and began to read each one until he reached the peculiar sign that had the name Azrael . Intrigued Alistair opened the door and realized this was his room. With a smile he placed down all that he had and collapsed on the bed as he fell fast asleep.

They failed. Breaking the news to Hana was going to be fun, but since he didn't know how the previous day went exactly, maybe they assumed it would end in such a way. If they did that was great, if not, oh well. If Vincent and Richard told the others about the Dark Angel part, that was their choice, but he wasn't going to bother with that detail.
When he got to the hotel and was alone, he pulled the ring out of his pocket. He realized he hadn't used it since day one, and on day 2 he went on a search for it and didn't use it. He was going to now that he remembered, and he assumed they would want him to check in. He sighed and sat on the bed, putting it on.
Thank you for the friendly reminder that I have this thing.
Well I couldn't exactly talk to you, now could I? Unless you wanted me to poof in and be like 'hey, put on your damn ring.'
Right... I hope you weren't expecting me to bring you any amazing news.
Not really.
Well good, I have done nothing productive for you... at all... if anything it was the opposite
As I figured. Do you need something Adam?
Yes but there is nothing you could do to get it.
And what exactly might that be?
Get these people to trust me.
There was a long silence and he shifted and kicked off his shoes as he waited.
You mean you have spent all this time with them and none of them trust you yet?
Other than the people who trusted me from the get go, and the one person I got to join us... yes, I have gotten no one to trust me... I was close with Joslyn but messed that one up...
Adam, do you even want to help?
Adam let out a sigh. I do it's just... difficult...
All right. I have something very easy for you.
And what would that be? I am expecting this to end in death.
Adam heard Danel laugh and was concerned just for a moment that his guess was correct.
No. It shouldn't require anyone to die. Destroy the compass Azazel wears. Without it, they can no longer recruit any more fallen angels.
Adam thought about it for a moment. He might be able to get it off of Joslyn if Azazel let him anywhere near her again, but destroying it was the hard part.
Is it something that can be easily destroyed or do I need something?
It should be easily destroyed, but for safe measure, you'll probably want to use the obsidian dagger I gave to Samuel.
Adam remembered the dagger well but still the question slipped out of his mouth.
Samuel has a dagger too? I saw that Henrik had one...
... No. There's only one dagger.
Then I'm gonna have to get it from Henrik... HAH. This'll be fun... but after I destroy the compass where does that leave me? I don't think they'd be too thrilled about it.
Well you could try and do it discretely. Otherwise, you're welcome to come here.
Adam thought about it, he assumed Danel meant Hell, and he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to go there yet.
I'll attempt at discrete, but if I fail, I'll call.
All right then. And try not to recruit anymore to their little team.
Well with Lu getting you guys Regulus, their moral might go down anyway... actually wait. I have a question.
And what would that be?
Who's to blame for the Ariel situation? A part of the group is looking for him in Siberia.
Mm... I guess that would technically be me. I told Lu he was there. She sent Alistair. Then one of the Nephilim. Now she has him since Alistair didn't kill him.
Well, just so you know, they are looking for him. Not sure if you didn't already know that.
I knew Uriel was out on a pointless vendetta to find him. Ariel isn't in Siberia.
Where is he? America? Wouldn't that be a laugh.
That's probably best left a secret for now. Good night Adam.
Fine then, good night.
Adam took off the ring and put it back in his pocket. He'd have to wait for them all to regroup considering the obsidian dagger was in Henrik's possession in London, while Joslyn was in Siberia. If he couldn't get the dagger from Henrik then he'd try his best with Nahkosh. Hopefully that'd be enough.
Adam layed down in the bed and passed out immediately.

WEARING DAY 41 3/4 WRITING
LOCATION Airplane England

Kai had a significantly weird day. He wasn't sure which was worse, the dream he woke up to, or the trip to London. He was pretty sure he would have rather played charades all day trying to recruit the creepy mannequin guy than deal with the chaos in England. He had kept his bag extremely close to his body, even after getting the glowing wand things. Kai watched as everyone else learned to use theirs but he just shoved the decorative box in the bag and called it good. His journals were more important than some strange magic wand. He did his best to stick close to the others that were clearly more used to this sort of thing than he.

That Jun Tae - Leo - Whatever guy seemed pretty legit to stick with and he knew his stuff. Kai kept closest to him until they finally made it back to the plane. He didn't breathe easy once on it. He wouldn't breathe easy until they safely touched down in Russia once more. After the stories of not one but two plane crashes, he was pretty sketched out. These people -- and him by proxy -- just radiated disaster. They wouldn't be on the plane for long. He just had to make the couple hours. Then he would be home sweet -- Russia... He missed home. Never had he thought he would miss Germany this much, or dislike traveling the world to such an extent. Traveling always seemed like such an exhilarating adventure and now it was more of a nuisance than anything. They never got to sight - see or explore or anything really. It was get in, find the angel, get out. What would they do when they stopped looking for other angels? Where would they stay if remaining in one place for too long got them all killed?

He didn't want to sleep and risk having that dream again. It had been happening more frequently as of late. He couldn't take it. Nope. Kai was just going to ride out the time on the plane and then he would lie down once they made it back to the hotel in St. Petersburg. It was only about four hours from now. He could make it ...

THE fight against the swarm of zombies that had awaited them was a short-lived one and only fought to get through the crowed and back to their plane that would return them to Russia. Their mission for the swords was a success and he wondered how the other two groups fared.

As soon as they were in the clear for peace, Leo was able to check his phone and got part of his answer.

To: Jun Tae
Staying the night in Yakutsk. Found Uriel
and got him to return Hay Sun to her body
if even for a little bit. Heading back to
St. Petersburg in the morning. Good luck.

To: Hana
Thanks. You too.

Every muscle in Leo's body instantly [ and visibly ] relaxed. After the rest of the group settled in and ate a bit of dinner, he slunk over to the cockpit to ask about flight time and also inform the pilot, Peter Tellins, that he would be paid in full when they landed. After being told they had a good few hours, Leo knew he should take this time to rest.

He dropped himself into one of the chairs and reclined it. I'm more exhausted than I thought I would be . . . Almost instantly, his eyelids drooped close and he fell asleep.

Throughout the storm, Lauren and Mikey kept constantly going at it. The animals kept crying out because of the storm, and Lauren kept trying to keep them calm. Mikey kept trying to the radio to work to call for evacuation, because he knew they would need it afterwards. Lauren broke a couple things during the wait which only made the arguments worse. Alice kept trying to have them calm down, but because she was afraid of thunder and lightning, she kept forcing herself to go back to sleep. Lauren cuddled up with Alice and both Lauren and Mikey fell asleep around the same time.

LEON WANDERED ABOUT THE APARTMENT. IT WAS NOT NEARLY AS BAD ON THE INSIDE AS IT WAS THE OUT -- IT WASN'T MUCH BETTER, BUT IT WASN'T AS BAD. HE WAS SLOWLY ADJUSTING TO THIS STRANGE LIFE WITH MALI. IT FELT FOREIGN. PERHAPS THINGS WITH HIS DAUGHTER WOULDN'T BE SO ESTRANGED IF HE COULD REMEMBER THE DETAILS OF HIS LIFE, BUT THEY ALL SLIPPED THROUGH LIKE SAND IN AN HOURGLASS. HE COULD NEVER GRASP ON TO ONE TANGENT MEMORY. THAT STRANGE ENCOUNTER WITH ALISTAIR HAD BEEN MOSTLY FORGOTTEN, ALTHOUGH, HE DID STILL FIND HIMSELF OCCASIONALLY TAPPING THE PENDANT THAT HUNG FROM HIS NECK.

HE GLANCED OUT THE WINDOW AND NOTICED A SLICK, BLACK, TWO - WHEELED MACHINE OUTSIDE THEIR FRONT DOOR. THAT WAS DEFINITELY NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. HE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT, BUT IT WAS LIKE LEON KNEW THAT BIKE SHOULD BE LOCATED ELSEWHERE. LEON WALKED INTO THE LIVING ROOM TO FIND HIS DAUGHTER. SHE WAS SITTING ON A SMALL COUCH PLAYING WITH TOYS. HE POINTED BACK TOWARDS THE WINDOW AND CALLED TO THE GIRL. "MALI, DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS MOTORCYCLE OUT FRONT?" HE ASKED. IT FELT SO FAMILIAR TOO HIM.

"It's yours. Auntie Lu picked it up from the airport parking for you," SHE SAID TO HIM. FOR SUCH A YOUNG CHILD, SHE WAS INCREDIBLY SMART. HE PAT HER ON THE TOP OF THE HEAD AND GLANCED OUT THE WINDOW ONCE MORE. THAT BIKE JUST KEPT LEAVING HIM UNSETTLED.

"WILL YOU BE FINE ON YOUR OWN FOR A FEW HOURS?" HE ASKED LIKE A CONCERNED PARENT.

MALI LOOKED UP AT HIM INCREDULOUSLY. THE EXPRESSION ON HER FACE WAS ALMOST AS HE HAD ASKED IF THE SKY WAS PURPLE, "Will you be fine for a few hours on your own?" SHE COUNTERED.

HE LAUGHED BEFORE GIVING HER A KISS AND WALKING OUTSIDE. MOTORCYCLES WERE EVIL DEATH TRAPS WAITING TO HAPPEN. OTHER DRIVERS WERE JUST NOT TRUSTY ENOUGH. LEON INSPECTED THE BIKE AND SOMETHING TUGGED AT THE BACK OF HIS MIND. HE SAT DOWN ON THE SMOOTH LEATHER SEAT AND STARTED THE ENGINE, HAVING ONLY ONE PLACE IN MIND TO GO.

Hay Sun opened her eyes after what felt like weeks of sleep. She tossed to her side and ran her fingers across the familiar texture of her wall. She tossed to her other side and then saw the familiar view of her desk and the bulletin board that hung above it. Her eyes zeroed in on the slip of paper that had a list of names and numbers on it.

Her laptop was closed on the cluttered surface of her desk and the lap was off.

She was in her room again. Must have been a dream. she thought to herself as she got up and started getting dressed. After opening the blinds and cracking open her window she breathed in the fresh air of the cool, autumn morning. Paris was beautiful in the autumn, she always thought to herself, though it attracted a lot of sightseers. Still, living there was worth it.

Breakfast's ready.❞ called her dad from downstairs and Hay Sun was there in an instant, looking and smelling the delicious-looking meal before her. ❝How did you sleep?❞ he asked as he poured her a glass of chocolate milk.

With food stuffed in her mouth, she went ahead and talked anyway. ❝I had a really weird dream.

Oh yeah? Tell me about it.

Hay Sun swallowed and then looked thoughtful. ❝I met a lot of really weird people who were supposed to save the world from some sort of apocalypse. Jun Tae was in it, too. He was like this underground-kingpin-dude who did a lot of shady stuff.

This really pretty guy took me to Mexico to meet this ginger named Hana. I can't really remember his name . . .

Was his name Leon?

Hay Sun stopped mid-chew and blinked at her dad. ❝. . . How'd you know?

Her dad had a knowing-glint in his eyes that bothered her and he motioned to the entrance of their café. ❝He's out there inspecting your motorcycle.

Her fist collided with her chest as she recovered from food going down the wrong pipe and then she was out of her chair. If that guy touched her motorcycle ( whoever the fuck he was ), she was gonna wring his fucking neck.

As soon as she was out the front door, the guy was sitting on her sleek black bike with the engine on. She could have sworn she saw her keys on her desk. ❝Hey,❞ she called out with a deep scowl on her face. ❝What the hell d'you think you're doing, prick?

He looked at her. Hay Sun came up short as she stared at his ridiculously pretty face. ❝Wait a sec . . . I know you.❞ she told him, slightly baffled. He continued to stare at her with shining gold eyes.

As if realizing where she was for the first time, Hay Sun looked around. . . . The store? she thought to herself. Her blue eyes fell on the motorcycle again. I . . . don't have my bike with me anymore. Carefully, she looked at the man again. You're name is Leon. No – . . . It's not.

Ariel is in Paris. a voice murmured in her ear.

The motorcycle revved loudly and then he was driving away.

Hay Sun sat up with a start. The loud sound of a motorcycle's engine was still roaring her in ears, and she thought it was coming from outside. She got up and pulled back the curtains of the window to look outside, seeing an unfamiliar landscape that was draped in ice and snow. When her eyes glanced at the ground, she saw a man on a gleaming brown motorcycle who didn't look familiar at all.

With a sigh, she rubbed the back of her neck and then looked back at the bed. Red was still asleep. She started walking, but her legs quickly gave out and she tripped to land on her face. Jesus fuck. What's with this insane soreness . . .

Deciding not to move, Hay Sun stayed on the floor, stomach down, trying to think of where she was, why she was feeling like complete shit, and what was going on. She tried to grasp at the last thing she remembered.

It didn't work out very well.

Uriel, what the fuck is going on?

. . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

Uriel?

. . .

No answer.

Goddammit Precious Moments, this isn't the time for you to be AWOL.

. . .

Still no answer. She growled, and with tons of winces, groans, and strain, she pushed herself off the carpet and took a look at what she was wearing. Sea green, white-flowered overalls with a long-sleeved black shirt and black tights. When did she put this outfit on . . .

Her heart really hurt for some reason.

Sal woke up ready to get going. Albeit he was a bit tired from the rude interruption a certain angel had done in the middle of the night, which was pretty exhausting in its own right. But oh well. Sal got out of bed and stretched, and remembered that they needed to go and rendezvous with the others. They needed to get up and going and quite early as well if they were going to not burn an entire day doing nothing. Lord knows that was not one of the more favorable days. Eventually the crew all had gotten up and decided to get a move on early, even though Hay Sun still looked fatigued. Oh well. She could just sleep on the plane ride. The gang made their way to the airport and took off on the first flight out of the coldest city on Earth. Hopefully everyone would have good news to report once there.

8 Hours Later
(You are all now awake....Unless you feel like sleeping 'till 3 in the Afternoon)

It had been a long plane ride there but they had made it back to the hotel in St. Petersburg and met up with the group that was already there. Naturally they were the last ones to arrive and it seemed that not much had happened yet. They were all waiting for everyone to arrive to discuss the events that had happened yesterday to each group respectively. Sal cleared his throat and said, "well I guess we should all exchange about what happened yesterday. As you can very well see, we were successful in our mission to find Uriel and not have him kill Hay Sun. How about the others?"

Brandon immediately jumped up in excitement and said, "all swords needed are here and accounted for. Same goes for all the people. No deaths~" That was...an odd way to end that sentence. But he'd take it as a group success nonetheless. Brandon walked around and gave both Sal and Vincent their respective swords and Sal felt that something was off about his. But that wasn't the subject matter at the moment.

"And the recruitment of Regulus?" Sal could very well see due to the lack of Regulus that they had failed. But it'd still be a good thing to hear it from them about what happened.

Oddly enough though, the usually sleeping man, Richard, was the one to step up and explain. There was a fairly different expression in his eyes than usual. Not lethargic or bored or anything. No this man looked angry. "We tried to convince him, but it didn't go over so well. He wasn't really 'interested' in our cause and then revealed to us that he makes machines out of humans. Not to mention he's apparently a father or something. Then some dark angel named Temalchaus showed up out of the blue and basically told him to join her side instead. So he did and is fully conscious of the fact that he's going to help bring about Hell on Earth but didn't really seem to care. Needless to say, it was bad." Richard's voice was also tinged with anger as he told what had happened. Sal hadn't seen much of Richard...well conscious that is, but he did not seem to be the type to get peeved easily. How interesting this would be.

"Oh well, I guess it can't be helped then. We'll just have to prep ourselves for another foe in the future." Sal was not actually too disappointed with the outcome of the recruitment. If anything he was glad about it. A man like Regulus probably would've only been detrimental to the group had he been on it. Having said that, Sal was not entirely thrilled about possibly going against this man in the future, but those bridges would be crossed later. After all was said and done and the reactions to this news were out of the way Sal clapped his hands together and with a smile said, "Well despite the whole, enemy recruitment thing going on, I'd say it was an overall success. Good job gang. Now then, there is the matter of what next to do. Any ideas?"

Adam opened his eyes lying on the ground, everything was blurry for just a moment before he felt something lodged into his chest. He gasped horribly and instinctively went to move his right arm to grab, but the arm was gone. Adam looked up and his eyes focused for him to notice Remus at the other end. Adam stared at him for a long time before he spoke, "Alright, you won. Happy?"

Remus frowned and pulled the sword out and backed up, Adam felt a numbness to his body and looked to see his arm had come back, and he sat up, watching his leg regenerate. Adam pulled himself up from the ground and felt unstable.
"I would have been if you had not been such a coward. I have been waiting nearly a week to end this."
"I'm sorry?"
"Do not apologize to me, apologize to yourself."
"Alright, enough you two."
Adam turned his head to see Semyaza standing right next to him, and they leaned their elbow on his shoulder, "Now then kiddo. Well rested?"
"No."
"You will not be for a while. But yet again you impressed me at one level and failed at another. I need to talk to you about that willpower you have, because it is strong."
"Do you still need me, Semyaza?"
"You are free to leave if you wish. But if you would like to stick around you are more than welcome to."
Semyaza grabbed Adam's arm and pulled him away and then let go when they were both walking without Adam needing assistance. Adam kicked a rock along the way and Semyaza finally started to speak, "Now tell me, do you have a prior history of insomnia?"
"Is this a checkup at the doc?"
"Answer my question."
"No I have not had insomnia."
Semyaza stopped and placed a hand on Adam's head, "You mean to tell me, you stayed awake for four days straight out of sheer willpower?"
"I was afraid."
"I know fear can carry over but usually after the 48 hour mark people give up and give in."
"I don't give in easily."
Semyaza let go of him and started to laugh extremely hard, and Adam raised an eyebrow at her. She composed herself and moved her hand and clouds formed, then they compacted and turned into a cane, which Adam stared at confused until she pointed it at his forehead, "I did not realize you were a comedian."
"I wasn't kidding."
"Then I fear for your sanity or lack of knowledge about yourself. You cave very easily."
"That is a lie!"
Semyaza hit Adam over the head with the cane and Adam closed his eyes and grabbed his head in pain. When he opened his eyes Semyaza was missing and he looked around frantically afraid of what could come next. When he turned around there was a girl there with white hair and bright blue eyes. Adam took a cautious step towards them and examined them a little bit more, "Bonnie?"
There was a small smile on her lips and she walked over and hugged him, "Hello puppet. How have you been?"
Adam took a step back and pushed her away, "Really funny."
"Adam what is the matter?" She took another step forward and placed a finger under his chin and looked with concern, "Is something wrong with your head?"
"Don't fucking touch me." he said as he swatted her hand away.
Her eyes narrowed at him as she spoke, "I do not understand what your problem is."
"You aren't here. You're dead."
She raised up her hand and flexed it, then looked Adam back straight in the eyes and spoke, "If I'm not here, how did you touch me?"
Adam looked away for a moment from her and she walked forward with a smile, "Always so tense aren't you Adam. Just... relax."
He watched as she walked behind him and she massaged his back, the same way she had when they first met. Then when he had finally calmed down he felt a cold blade to his neck and gasped.
"You were so close too. I was convinced you would keep fighting for a moment, but no."
"That was low."
"I am just proving a point to you. Do you understand?"
Adam grabbed Semyaza's arm and spoke, "I understand, you were right..."
There was a silence almost as if he had just said something completely unbelievable. Then Semyaza moved the blade from his neck and walked in front of him, "It is a form of defeatism. I understand, but... I do not want you to obey someone just because you are lost and do not know what to do." Semyaza put the blade they were holding sideways to their chest and spoke, "I want you to do what you believe is right. I could easily just sit here and push you around, it could be very easy. But I am not a dictator. This is where my beliefs from heaven and hell differ. I never intended on going to Hell in anyway shape or form when I rebelled, I wanted here on Earth. I enjoy Earth, it is a truly wonderful place."
Adam opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted, "I did not intend on latching onto souls and being stuck with them. I feel terrible for you and the others. Who wishes to find out they are burdened by a fallen angel? I can live through lifetimes, you cannot. You only have one life and I do not wish to take that from you."
Semyaza shifted the blade and it turned back into the cane from earlier and they leaned forward, "And I will ask you this question now, and I will help you with whichever path you choose. Do you wish to side with the Dark Angels, and turn this world into a hell-plane. Or do you wish to fight with the Fallen and save this world. Either way, do not think about the outcomes overall. Think about yourself. Where do you picture yourself the happiest? Do not think of if you do not succeed. You will. You are Adam Graham Pike, a reincarnation of Semyaza, a born and ready leader who needs a push and needs to know what direction to go in. What do you say?"
Adam stared off in thought, he had no idea how to reply or if he could ever reply at all. He thought about everything, every detail, every way he could be happier. But although he knew he'd be happier with the Fallen, there was something about the Dark Angels and Lucifer that kept looming over him. He felt like he would win on that sad, and he dismissed what Semyaza said prior about him succeeding.
Did he want happiness, or did he want to live longer.
Adam looked up at Semyaza and spoke, "I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"I don't..."
Semyaza let out a defeated sigh and threw the cane into the air and it turned into a cloud and floated upward. "Give it more of a thought, figure out where you wish to go. And remember, if you regret the decision later, you can always find an exit."
Adam looked from the cloud over at Semyaza who had disappeared. He guessed she was done with him for the day, so Adam let his eyes close and fell fully sleep for a couple more hours before he had to wake up.

The group had finally gotten back and restored itself. Richard luckily, broke the news before he did. Adam was completely unfocused on what was going on. He was trying to avoid making eye contact with anyone really, just because he was so lost in thought about what he was going to do. And he was really hungry for the first time in a while.
Adam heard Sal mention what they should do next and immediately his thoughts trailed over to the compass again. Dammit if he could do it he'd run over to Joslyn right now and rip it off of her neck and destroy it, but he wasn't like that. And he probably wouldn't survive to tell Danel he destroyed it.
He kept looking over at Joslyn and instead of the compass the first thing that came into his head was that he felt like he should apologize. Not only was it a completely random thought, but it was actually somewhat relevant. Adam took a deep breath and quickly looked back over at Sal and spoke, "Go where the compass points like we always have done?"

Why? Why did she come out here in the first place?

"Birdie Australia, Day... two-ish? No idea what time it is. Too lazy to look. Another day for Reese Ouellet in the barren wasteland of Southern Australia out in the middle of the Strzelecki Desert... Or... I think at the edge of it? Note, do some research when I get back to Sydney-"

There was a clash of thunder outside, making Elsie squeak and almost drop her voice recorder. She clutched it tightly with shaky hands, bringing it back to her mouth. "Okay, long story short, yours truly wanted an adventure and explore Australia. I mean, what American student wouldn't? Well, my adventures have come to a hault out in Woop Woop land. There's a full blown storm out there, which is like very impossible to fly, drive, or even walk through. Actually, I think I'll be swimming with the crocs soon from the Diamantina River... Yikes..." Elsie let out a quiet sigh, taking a look around her surroundings. "I'm in a storm shelter here, and it's just me in this lonely place. Eh... I'll check back in later, over and out."

The voice recorder was clicked off and placed on one of the dusty shelves. The blonde took a look around once more. She had canned food, blankets, a canoe, some ponchos, her wind up radio, and other things. She was stranded here, and the only people who knew where she was were her friends back in Sydney and her family back in Organ USA. There was pouring rain, thunder and lightning, and high winds that made her sanctuary groan and creek. About 900 miles away from Sydney, and who knew where else she could go from here. She just hoped that she would be safe up on this hill for a while. It was the only high ground she could get to before the flash floods tore through the area. She had sandbags up just in case things got crazy, but so far she was okay.

Elsie let out a groan and flopped back onto the moth eaten mattress that sat on a cot. She wanted to get a better sense of the dessert culture here for a book she had been wanting to right, and look where that landed her. "Rain, rain... go away... come again another day..." The old radio that was installed here was on, but so far Elsie hadn't been able to contact anyone at all. Maybe it was the electricity in the air messing with things, or maybe no one was miles around to even help her. How long would she last with the supplies she had now? She didn't even want to think about that.

LOCATION St. Petersburg, Russia [Hotel] INTERACTION X

This was some really terrible news. Even with Sal saying that it had been an overall success, she did not feel pleased with the outcome. They needed everyone -- even the fallen angels that seemed mental and sketchy. They weren't going to win if they didn't have the numbers. The Dark Angels did have numbers. They were very unevenly matched right now. Plus, it looked like there was something the three recruiters weren't sharing about their experience with Regulus. That left her further unsettled. It was just all downhill once they got back to the hotel after spending eight hours on a plane. They had used the time to catch a little extra shut - eye and fill Hay Sun in on what had been happening since she went down in Rome.

Well despite the whole, enemy recruitment thing going on, I'd say it was an overall success. Good job gang. Now then, there is the matter of what next to do. Any ideas? Sal asked.

Hana glanced to Hay Sun and then to Jun Tae. Given that the compass had still been pointing east by the time they reached St. Petersburg, there was a good shot Ariel was that way. The compass had led them to Russia. There hadn't been any activity on it in that direction when they left Italy. This was new.

Go where the compass points like we always have done? Adam chimed in.

Her insides seemed to twist. Even though Jun Tae would never tell her, there was a clear uneasiness to him about heading that way. Plus, if they did go east and it turned out to be Ariel, Uriel would take over Hay Sun's body again and she wouldn't be able to handle that in her current safe. It was just simply out of the question right now. So now what?

There had been reports of some serious weather when they were on the plane. It seemed to be heavily concentrated in the Australia region. Given their last few bouts with the weather, it might be some sort of sign. The storms in the past led them to other fallen angels, it could do the same here as well.

Hana cleared her throat. We should head south, towards Australia. The compass isn't pointing that way right now, but I believe that once we get closer, it will. With the storms, I'm not exactly sure how we'll get to the continent, but there is something telling me that we need to go to Australia first. Her blue eyes locked on with the French - Korean girl before looking back to the others. We just got done flying for eight hours. I think it would be best to leave first thing in the morning. She glanced to Leo, Jun Tae, can you arrange for us to get as close as possible without actually ending up in the middle of the storm?" She nodded. "Everyone else should use this time to practice up and train. Her gaze shifted to Adam, Or sleep. There was no way he was already fully rested. She couldn't stand the idea of more than one liability in the group.

She clapped her hands together and motioned for everyone to disperse. Hana lingered there in the lobby. It was a toss up between whom she would rather speak with first -- Samuel or Jun Tae. Both were equally as important as the other, but for separate reasons.

AS promised, Leo had paid their constant pilot in full once they landed. The group had made good time back to Russia [ even if it had taken a little longer than he wanted ].

Seeing Hay Sun [ who looked less vibrant and more tired ] again made him feel about two times lighter than he had before, but he knew that her soul wouldn't go without some temporary damage. It was strange though; it seemed like Uriel in her was almost . . . nonexistent.

When he heard that the others hadn't been able to successfully recruit Regulus, Leo stared at Vincent, Adam, and Richard. He also immediately regretted not staying behind, but the swords had been far more important, and from what he understood, Regulars was relatively unstable anyway. They didn't need anymore loose canons in their group.

Their next location was mentioned and Leo looked at the compass on Joslyn's neck as if he wanted it to explode. He knew where that accursed thing would be pointing and he sincerely hoped that Hana was not a complete idiot. There was too much at stake. When Adam mentioned them going wherever it led them, Leo looked at him as if he wanted him to slowly burn to death while dipped in acid.

Leo . . . knew not to trust Adam. Instead, he really just wanted to kill him.

Hana cleared her throat and Leo prepared himself to manipulate Brandon into striking her down with lightning. We should head south, towards Australia. The compass isn't pointing that way right now, but I believe that once we get closer, it will. With the storms, I'm not exactly sure how we'll get to the continent, but there is something telling me that we need to go to Australia first.

Although he hadn't looked tense in the first place, Leo's fists unclenched from inside his pockets and he subtly moved away from Brandon. He watched as Hana looked at Hay Sun and then back at the others to continue to talk. First thing in the morning? They should leave now. What, did she think they had any time to spare?

Jun Tae, can you arrange for us to get as close as possible without actually ending up in the middle of the storm? Everyone else should use this time to practice up and train.

Mapping immediately started out in out in his mind and within a few minutes, he had their trip planned out. They would fly from St. Petersburg to Coimbatore, India and refill there, and then they would have to fly around to Tasmania . . . Mainland Australia was too dangerous right now, and there was no way they would actually be able to get through that storm without using some kind of barrier. Leo would rather use one around a boat rather than a private jet. He nodded once at her to signal he already had a plan.

Or sleep.

When their leader clapped her hands, Leo's bright blue gaze fell on Hay Sun who looked at him at the same time with a scowl. But – she began to protest loudly and he narrowed his eyes. You can't make –

Hay Sun, you are a liability to the group right now. If we run into trouble, you'll be useless and don't think I won't leave you to die. Go up to my room and sleep.

She stomped towards him and grabbed the scruff of his shirt. Short as she was, he let his sister pull him down to her level. You are not the boss of me. she hissed. It's not like you even fucking care anyway, so leave me alo –

Leo pressed a finger to her forehead and she collapsed into his arms. Her soul was more torched than he thought. You are truly careless, Uriel. I won't be so forgiving the next time you put strain on Hay Sun's soul like this. He said in a low tone. He knew the Fallen inside his sister could hear him and the dangerous line he was walking on by threatening an archangel.

After returning to the lobby, he walked towards Joslyn. Now that things are somewhat calm, we're resuming your training. I have something to take care of first, so don't move or go off.

He turned away from her and then made his way towards Hana. I have our route to Australia planned. We're going to Tasmania first, as it's the only way to get into the rest of the country. He paused briefly and inspected her facial expression. There's something you need to tell me. Your personal relationships can wait. he said as a statement, rather than a question.

Alistair had to admit that he actually liked sleeping in his own bed. Sure sleeping with Lu was nice and all, but he knew if he even touched a mere hair from her that he'd be feeling her little punishment...not that he mind. His coat and hat were placed on and Alistair merely stretched as he risen up to his feet. Later on he would be going on adventures, but today he would probably go for a stroll and maybe find the kiddos as well. They still needed their lessons so there was that to work on as well. He walked out of the room that belonged to him and began to walk on down the halls until the sound of a door opened from somewhere behind him. Immediately he glanced over his shoulder and his brow raised quite surprised "Regulus? what the hell are you doing here?" Alistair said turning to face the new arrival.

"And of course...you appear before me when I don't need your services" Regulus said closing his eyes as he rubbed his temples. He had only woken up a mere moment and being the curious person he was he wished to investigate this palace. When he had opened the door he definitely did not expect to see a familiar face, let alone the one person he was trying to contact for the last few days. "Nonetheless I suppose this explains why couldn't contact you...now would you be so kind as to explain the situation? Temeluchas has already given me a good summary" Regulus said calmly staring over at Alistair.

"Straight to business as always...you never change do you prof" Alistair said shaking his head with a small chuckle before crossing his arms. "Well then welcome to hell! pretty isn't it? A good place for a couple of bastards like us wouldn'tcha say?" Alistair said. The rumours about Regulus were lightly spread across Russia and Alistair had heard about it earlier on. The rumours were that what the police found when they captured Regulus was purely maddening and struck terror in the eyes of the police. Bodies were found mutilated and worse of all these bodies were still alive, tearfully calling for the pain to end. The police record was never filed, but the rumours still ran around. When he thought about it now it all made sense as to how Regulus managed to get out.

Regulus was sent to one of the most powerful of strongholds and for him to have escaped that only meant one thing. A smirk crept across his face as his eyes narrowed and his sleeve was pulled up "Lulu must have told you about how we are angels correct? and I'm sure you've managed to learn something on your own...so why don't play a bit prof" Alistair said as a blade came out of his arm. Immediately rushing forward he lunged forward at Regulus.

Arms crossed Regulus listened to the words of Alistair and before long the white dressed man had begun to lunge straight at him. It had seemed the two had different powers and though his focuses were not based on combat, he still needed to test both their powers. Regulus realized that the two of them shared the same goal and with that he unfolded his arms and held his palm forward as he narrowed his eyes.

Alistair raised his arm and with his blade arm he immediately swung at Regulus only to find resistance in the air. With the blade a few Inches away from Regulus. Alistair's blade grazed upon something invisible before the man. Alistair's eyes narrowed with a grin but his eyebrow rose the moment he noticed Regulus use his other hand and held the arm that had the opened palm. whatever he was attacking began to push him back a bit, but Alistair would not give up easily. He pushed the blade further and a cracking noise had been heard. The cracking noise continued until finally there was a shattering noise and the blade was allowed to proceed further. Now free to attack Regulus the blade continued forward, but stopped as Alistair leap back "Quite an impressive power you've got there" Alistair said with a grin.

Sweat ran down a bit as Regulus lowered his arm. Unlike Alistair the man had felt fatigue and he could only blame that on his lack of experience. "It still needs work" Regulus said calmly closing his eyes. Despite his fatigue the man barely looked like it had any affect what so ever. He was a stoic man that barely showed any care unless his interests had been piked. This test, despite the fatigue it brought had made him learn something new.

Hana stood aimlessly. She didn't wish to approach either of them and risk drawing any sort of attention. She would just wait here for one of them to talk to her instead. That would be less auspicious. Jun Tae had pulled Joslyn aside and it looked like he was going to be busy with training her. Guess that meant she should just go talk to Sam or at least that's what she had planned to do until he turned away from Joslyn and then made his way towards her. I have our route to Australia planned. We're going to Tasmania first, as it's the only way to get into the rest of the country. That was good. They had a plan. So this meeting wasn't a total waste. If the storm ends soon, Australia might actually be a good place for training for awhile. They would have everyone there. There were miles upon miles of desert where they could go unnoticed. Everyone could break off into small training groups and she could instruct them with Leo's help.

If only that didn't mean putting everyone at risk by staying located in one place for too long. Her muscles tensed and her forehead creased. Jun Tae seemed to sense that there was something wrong before he continued. There's something you need to tell me. Your personal relationships can wait.

Hana clicked her tongue to the roof of her mouth and glanced to Samuel, then back to Jun Tae. When have I ever had time for personal relationships that didn't involve Azazel? Even now things were strange and distant. She hadn't been alone with Samuel since the other morning and that hadn't gone over so well. That night before was slowly starting to fade into the recesses of her vast memory. It was just too deep for anything to stay on the surface for long.

She grabbed him by the elbow and pulled Leo aside. What she needed to speak with him about was private and couldn't be overheard by the others. It was too risky. Even with everyone banding together and trying to help, the less people that knew, the better. I know what you've been up to on your computer and phone all this time and I really think you should quit. The less people that know, the better. Hana pressed her pale lips together and let go of his arm. Her expression turned more serious and even a little scared. Did I ever tell you they got Jehoel? When we were in Rome the second time, Danel asked for his location, which means that Jehoel still hasn't been broken completely, but I think it's only a matter of time now.

Temeluchas walked out of her room at the end of the hall to see a couple of complete idiots going at it right there. Honestly, with how much unwanted exploring Alistair has been doing, how had he not found the Training Room yet? She rolled her eyes while walking over to them. Lu was not going to be responsible for taking blame for them destroying the palace, not when she was working so hard to get back on Lucifer's good side. He had been too angry with them the other day and that just wouldn't do.

Her hands pressed flat against Alistair's back and she shoved him forward. "Dumbass. What exactly do you think you're doing? The Training Room is right there." she bellowed angrily. Lu waved her hand at the door and gave him another push forward. "Honestly, I thought you would be less annoying with someone else to keep you company. Apparently I was wrong." She grabbed his arm, digging her nails in deep and reached out to snatch Sariel's arm as well. Mist surrounded them before disappearing once inside the Training Room.

"Now you can be as stupid as you want." The fucking dumb bastard actually went outside yesterday. She heard all about it when she got back. "And if you go outside again, I hope you fall into the river." Lu let go of the both of them and was radiating anger.

LEON KILLED THE ENGINE TO THE BIKE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THE TIRES HADN'T EVEN STOPPED ROLLING COMPLETELY AND HE WAS ALREADY DROPPING HIS FEET TO THE GROUND AND PUTTING DOWN THE KICKSTAND. HE WANTED TO GET OFF THIS TWO-WHEELED DEATH TRAP AS FAST AS HE COULD. IT WAS STILL UNFATHOMABLE HOW HE COULD POSSIBLY OWN A MOTORCYCLE. EVERY FIBER IN HIS BEING WAS SCREAMING THAT HE HATED THE MACHINES FOR SOME REASON.

HE PULLED THE KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION AND TURNED TO LOOK AT THE SMALL SHOPPE HE WAS PARKED IN FRONT OF. LEON HAD NO IDEA WHY HE HAD COME HERE, BUT SOMETHING DREW HIM TO THIS PLACE. HIS PHYSICAL MEMORY SEEMED TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY STRONGER THAN HIS PSYCHOLOGICAL ONE. HIS BODY KNEW HE NEEDED TO COME TO THIS PLACE SOMEHOW, EVEN IF HE COULDN'T REMEMBER EVER BEING HERE.

HE SWALLOWED NERVOUSLY BEFORE WALKING INSIDE. THE BELL ABOVE THE DOOR CHIMED AS IT OPENED AND SHUT. HIS PALE GOLDEN EYES DRIFTED UP TO IT BRIEFLY BEFORE LOWERING TO THE COUNTER ACROSS THE ROOM. THE AIR SMELLED OF PASTRIES AND HERBS. THERE WAS A SURLY OLD ASIAN MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER FILLING A TEAPOT. HE LIFTED HIS HEAD AT THE SIGHT OF LEON AND GAVE A SMALL WAVE. "Bienvenue. Que voulez-vous?" HE ASKED.

LEON WALKED CLOSER AND INSPECTED THE BOARD WITH A LIST OF TEAS ON IT. HIS GAZE SHIFTED FROM THE BOARD TO THE MAN AND BACK UP AGAIN. SOMETHING FELT ODDLY FAMILIAR AND SAFE ABOUT THE MAN. HE COULDN'T QUITE PLACE HIS FINGER ON IT. "BONJOUR. JE VAIS PRENDE LE THÉ CHAI." LEON PULLED OUT A FEW DOLLARS TO PAY HIM BEFORE TAKING A SEAT AT ONE OF THE SMALL TABLES IN THE SHOPPE. THE PLACE FELT COZY AND COMFORTING. IT WAS LIKE FINALLY COMING HOME AFTER A LONG JOURNEY. BUT HE ALREADY WAS HOME, WASN'T HE? LEON DIDN'T FEEL LIKE THIS IN THE LITTLE BRICK APARTMENT HE SHARED WITH MALI. THIS WAS DIFFERENT.

Sal could quite clearly tell that Hana was not pleased with the way things were. Oh well. Nothing he could really do to alleviate his mood. Though he was rather looking forward to a good old fashion training session amongst angels...that didn't take place in his mind. And probably wouldn't leave him dead. That'd be a big no no if he did die during these. Also the gang was going to Australia. Home of the...well it was home to something. He remembered his friend, Ivan Waller, saying something about having an older sister in Australia, so he always did want to go visit it with his friend. But those kinds of trips just never came to fruition.

Sal then started to think of a training partner that would be suitable for him to go up against. The people with dormant powers wouldn't do, simply because he wouldn't know how to fight them and help bring their powers out. Then the other people around probably already had someone else in mind that they'd like to train with anyway. Such was being a late comer to this party of unlikely heroes. So instead he decided to just train with the person who was clearly the most knowledgeable of the group and could probably get him a good sense on what not life or death training was like.

He waited for a while until she was finished with her conversation with Jun Tae and walked over to Hana. "Excuse me, Hana. I think we could both benefit from training together right now. So, do you want to?"

It seemed like things didn't go well for the three people who went to visit the weird, creepy guy in the warehouse. While it seemed like a bad thing, she had to admit that it she was relieved he wouldn't be joining them. She didn't have a clue how she would deal with him. He was just so off putting and so, creepy.

"Now that things are somewhat calm, we're resuming your training. I have something to take care of first, so don't move or go off." Training would be resuming. That would mean more soreness afterwards and more passing out. Hopefully it would be less than the last time, but there would be passing out nonetheless.

"O-okay." She stayed put, sitting on the couch. This time, she wanted to prepare herself for what he would toss her way.

"Ah, more training. This is good. We've had some premium bonding time with Xath, rescued, uh, what's her face? The one that hosts Uriel, or Puriel, I still don't quite get that one. But yeah, things are looking up."

"Oh, Hay Sun."

"Right. That's her name, Hay Sun."

"Yeah, it's a good thing we found her too. She might not've survived had we gotten to her any later. At least, that's what I understand."

"Uh-huh. Well, sorry for distracting you, you should keep concentrating on your training."

"Oh, right."
