Sal was busy standing around doing nothing, when he saw Richard come in and simply sit down and sleep. The man knew how to sleep whenever. Quite the ability. Then Adam came in and he looked fabulous and ready for the new days adventure. Only his face did not match his body language at all. He seemed rather...sluggish. He'd investigate a bit more on that later, when they were not getting ready to leave. Next up was Hana, who seemed rather serious. She seemed to be quite assertive for being the hidden one, quite funny really. She said that they were leaving with or without him, and wondered if he what he observed was what he was looking for. It was not. Next on the list of people was Sam and Vincent, menacing and jovial respectively. When everyone else had fallen into the lobby Sal turned his attention to Hana. "About the teamwork thing, you all failed pretty hard to show me any real example of teamwork, but I'll tag along regardless. Seems like quite the fun thing you got going on here." With that out of the way the gang got together and started their drive off to find a new place to travel to.

The gang had ended up going all the way back to the flooded Venice, which thankfully had a still running airport, and as such they ended up flying off to Moscow. Sal was slightly confused with why they were going to Moscow, Russia over any other European nation, heck any other nation in general. He figured, though, the gang was on to some sort of fallen angel lead, or they were doing something angel related. Regardless the flight took hardly any time at all, and the gang had ended up in Moscow. With that out of the way they ended up getting a car or two to end up driving off to wherever the compass had guided them. They ended up outside some sort of a Russian university and checked one last time to see the compass that the compass was leading them there. When they started walking up to the entrance some silver haired boy with glasses burst out of the doors yelling, "oh man guys! Haven't see n you in forever! So how's the angel squad doing these days? Good to see everyone looks just the same as when I left." Well this boy was rather excited about them being here. Was he already a part of this gang? That'd be odd if he just sort of split off, but Sal would observe how things went between this old newcomer and the rest of the group.

There was nothing more that he had to do so Alistair decided why not check around the palace a bit. He wish he could say there was nothing he could lose but in all honesty who was he exactly kidding? He knew the chance of dying was high, but it didn't matter to him, such thrills were what compelled the white dressed aristocrat. He walked out of the room belonging to Temeluchas and began to walk down the halls of the Obsidian Palace.

"Quite a curious thing...if Obsidian is what kills them, then why the hell live in a castle made up of materials that can kill them....I mean what if they trip and hit their head on an obsidian floor...would their head wound not recover?" Alistair mused to himself silently as he tried heading off to find something interesting. He tried opening some doors but they were all locked.

Alistair continued walking along until he found a two way fork in the hallway and raised an eyebrow as he took a right. Eventually he found himself in the very same operating room he cut the babies out. With that Alistair chuckled and wiped away a nonexistant tear "ahhh the memories...they grow up sooooo fast" Alistair said as he noticed a few medical objects. Taking noticed of what was needed for his humanly needs he placed some objects in his pockets and walked off back to the fork in the hallway and took the other path

He tried the doors he came upon but to no avail and soon enough he encountered yet another fork. Once again Alistair took a right and noticed some stairs. It was here that he realized he should be more on guard and with that he walked down the basement stair, quite giddy with the thought about what laid head for him.

"Did you get any sleep last night?"

"I suppose. In fact, you could say that I'm still sleeping right now."

"I have something to show you."

Henrik had no idea how much time had passed. There was no Sun to tell him if it day had ever come. No stars were in the sky, it merely glowed like a dying ember, the faint light reflecting off the surface of the obsidian ground that stretched as far as the eye could see. This had been the same environment his dreams had taken place for several days now. Henrik made no effort to respond to Lei who stepped to the side to reveal another person standing just behind him.

It looked exactly like Lei. 'Great. Now there's two of them.'

"No. Not two. He is the one who came before you. One of my personal favorites to be honest. If only because I got the most use out of his body than any other vessel." Lei smiled while the other remained silent. "Henrik, meet Henry. Henry, meet Henrik. You two have a lot in common." Lei placed his hand on Henry's shoulder. "I made this one kill his wife and their unborn. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to do the same to yours."

"Why are you telling me this?" Henrik growled.

"You'll see." Lei turned around before beginning to walk away. "Oh, and only one of you can walk out of here alive. Wouldn't it be interesting if Henry got to keep your body? Well, only if I allow him to borrow it." Lei snapped his fingers and vanished from sight, leaving the two alone.

Henrik blinked and raised an eyebrow. "He's got to be kidding." It was bad enough Lei robbed him of his body but now he was expected to fight for second place? Henrik had no plans to waste his time when he could still go after Lei. He had to be somewhere in this wasteland. As Henrik began to follow after Lei, ignoring the man called Henry, the man suddenly reacted and drew Nakah from out of thin air.

"Where do you think you're going, kid?"

"Get out of my way, old man." The difference between their ages could hardly have been more than ten years but if Henry was going to call Henrik "kid" it only seemed fitting to respond as such. "You're nothing more than some illusion of a past life. You have no reason to fight me."

"He took them from me!" The man immediately brought his sword down on Henrik.

Henrik barely managed to bring his own sword up in time to keep from getting cut in two. "You're not even real! Stand down!" Saying this only angered the man further. Henrik struggled to keep his blade between the two but as his arms began to shake he found himself being forced onto one knee. The man's strength was overwhelming and it made no sense for him to be overpowered so easily. Lei was the source of his power but this man? He was nothing but an illusion yet he was every bit as strong as the angel. "Back off!" The man's own sword began to change form and before Henrik could blink a sharp pain bit through his shoulder as a blade sliced down into it and his upper back. The man now wielded a scythe.

He twisted to the side, getting out from under the scythe before jumping back to make room between the two. A bladed chain wrapped itself around Henrik's right arm and cutting deep into his flesh. Henrik reacted by bringing Nakah down on the chain, shattering it before his arm could be torn off. He kept from looking at the wound, knowing it would only hurt worse by staring at it. 'Goddammit...' He took in a staggered breath as he did his best to keep from doubling over in pain.

"Lei's stronger than me. If you're doing this badly how do you ever expect to get your body back?" The man twirled his blade around in his hand. "I have years of experience over you. I have a better chance of making it out of here than you. So just roll over and die already."

"Funny. Lei's told me to do the same thing...Get over yourself. The person you're imitating is already dead."

    "Not as dead as you."

"I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" Henrik charged at the man and-

Lei cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders. Iris seemed to notice that something was up with her dear husband but had not dared to make any comment. She must have been distracted with her own thoughts of her children. As much as Lei wanted to tie up loose ends with Kalia(note: he didn't actually give a damn about Henrik's problems), he had better things to do. Like greeting the bunch of nobodies who showed up to pick up their trash. Though as he led Iris towards the lobby where everyone else was, he began to regret bringing the woman along. He didn't want to introduce Henrik's wife to anyone nor did he care for meeting any of the other fodder in Xathanael's crusade.

"I didn't expect this many of you to still be alive." He spoke coldly as he arrived in front of the group, Iris giving him some kind of look of disapproval. What did she expect? Human greetings were so pointless. Before Henrik's wife could speak up, he decided to follow through with the petty introductions. "This is my wife, Iris." He motioned towards the blonde. "Iris, these are the Scooby Gang rejects." There. Introductions done. "What are you kids up to now?"

Brandon was standing around noticed that Heinry had come outside as well, along with his wife Eris. He seemed to comment on how there was a lot more than expected to be alive and that's when Brandon noticed something. There was new people in the group. Really only two. But Soleil was missing from the group. He thought back for a moment and remembered that the update that Xana had sent him was addressed to both him and Purel. And if Brandon recalled correctly, Purel was Soleil's angel. Then he heard Heinry introduce them as the scooby doo rejects. Brandon found that to be both rude yet complimenting at the same time. Rude because they weren't even a detective agency, complimenting because it meant that they didn't have to make less than enjoyable movies. Regardless Brandon walked up to the gang and decided to start talking. Always a good thing really.

"So yeah, might as well catch you all up to speed here. So after you guys left the hotel in Germany, I was chilling out waiting for Heinry. When he came down, he told me he was in the middle of a fight with Starman and that's why he was so late. Unfortunately Starman got away, so he couldn't rejoin our gang. After that though, Heinry and I went on a plane and flew all the way to Moscow in search of his long lost wife. And search we did, it took many cab rides and going into one building, but we managed to find her. And then nothing really happened and then you guys showed up. So what'd I miss?"

    DAY 39 ⦙ 4/4 DATE Wednesday ⦙ October 30, 2013
LOCATION Moscow, Russia [University] INTERACTION Brandon & Heinrik

They went to Russia. The compass had been flicking between North and Northwest. Northwest seemed like the safe bet since they actually knew where to be going. Brandon and Henrik were in Russia. They could find them and then head towards wherever else the compass was pointing towards. They really needed to work on gathering the others faster. If they planned to stand even the smallest chance of winning, they needed a lot more time dedicated to training and searching for other Fallen was eating away at that precious time.

They came to a University in Moscow. It would make sense for Henrik to be here given that he and his wife were both teachers. Hana kind of felt bad for Brandon. Henrik seemed rather dry -- even more so than her -- and probably had the boy bored out of his mind. When they started walking up to the entrance of the building, Brandon seemed to come bursting out the doors. He couldn't be that excited to see them, could he? Oh man guys! Haven't seen you in forever! So how's the angel squad doing these days? Good to see everyone looks just the same as when I left.

Brandon had this air about him and even though he liked to wake everyone up with tennis balls to the hotel room doors, he was charming in a dorky way that just made her smile. Brandon it's good to see you too. Things have been relatively the same, more or less. Although, I do wish you guys would quit calling us the 'God Squad' or 'Angel Rangers' or whatever else you've been saying. Her bright blue eyes washed over them all in a 'seriously' manner.

Behind Brandon came Henrik with whom she could only assume was his wife Iris. I didn't expect this many of you to still be alive. He spoke coldly as he arrived in front of the group. This is my wife, Iris. He motioned towards the blonde. Iris, these are the Scooby Gang rejects. What are you kids up to now?

Hana shook her head dismissively. Araquiel. The angels needed to quite taking so much control of their humans. Araquiel, she said like a teacher scolding a child, Give Henrik his body back. You can't keep seizing control of him like this. He. Will. Die and how will that do you any good to have an infant host? You'll be right back to sleep again. Hana crossed her arms over her chest. Now.

Trying to ease the sudden tension, Brandon approached the rest of them. So yeah, might as well catch you all up to speed here. So what'd I miss?

Hana licked her bottom lip and shifted her gaze to the silver haired boy. Brandon definitely had a way with words. She sighed and shook her head slowly. We went to Italy, found Sal and Vincent, she motioned to the both of them and her gaze lingered on Vincent, remembering how he had wrapped his arm around her earlier and Sam had become defensive about it, Sal, Kai, Hay Sun, and I went to Rome. Danel was there waiting for us. He made threats like he always does. Uriel came here to search for Ariel, the one that saved us from the plane crash, she explained, Then there was a flood in Venice and we stayed the night Padua. Now we're here. The others did some training as well. She decided it was best to leave out the detail about her and Sam. No one needed to know. Hana looked at Brandon curiously. Who is Starman?

Sal stood there seeing another two people come out of the university. The woman didn't seem to say anything and the man seemed to be rather cold. Quite befitting for where they were really. He watched as Hana called the man Araquiel, and told him sternly and defiantly to give the man, Henrik, his body back. 'Oh, you can take over our bodies?'

"Quite. The angel can, at any point, take over their host's body. The host does have the ability to resist but that creates friction between your souls and burdens the possessing angel. Regardless though, the angel will always win no matter the host's power. During this period of time, the host's body can access the full power of the angel, but the weaker the host and the more power drawn, the faster your body will burn up. And once it burns up, the host is dead and the angel moves on to a different person."

'Yikes, that sounds scary. Hope I don't ever have you posses me. I like my body all not dead.'

"Angels usually only posses their hosts to make a point. Some don't ever and some do it to try and get there way. You seem to be a co-operative enough host as things stand, and I'd rather not try such a dangerous maneuver on you with little reason at the moment to do such a thing."

'Well then I guess I'll consider myself lucky, Zachariel.' After his little conversation he heard the boy, Brandon, break down everything that had happened since they left him in Germany. Sal thought there thinking that based on the group dynamic so far, they actually did just ditch him there, but wouldn't say anything about it. Hana then proceeded to introduce both himself and Vincent, to which Sal gave a small little wave to the boy. While she was explaining to him what had happened in the past few days, he simply nodded along with her.

When that was done with, she asked the million dollar question. Who was this starman? The only thing that came to mind was a star...with eyes, that just made you invincible, but he hardly doubted that was the case. "Oh well Starman is um...he's the dude, with the hair, that's all red and stuff. And uh, he had a private jet, was pretty rich, and ya." The boy certainly had a way of explaining things.

    Days without sleep: 3
Adam was half paying attention to everything that was going on. In fact, his forgetfulness was pretty bad. On the way to Russia he had just totally zoned out, and then somewhere along the way they had picked up Brandon and Henrik. Fun.
When they got to a hotel for the night, Adam was heading to the room. He was planning on watching TV or something, but he needed tea or something with caffeine. As he was about to open the door he heard a voice speak, "Adam, can I have a moment with you."
Adam let out an irritated sigh as he turned around saying, "Yes floop?"

As soon as he turned around his mind flashed out for a moment and next thing he knew he was standing in the middle of an empty hallway, "The hell? Am I talking to a ghost? Creepy... where are you Mr Ghost?" Adam looked around for a moment and then chuckled to himself and let out sluggishly, "Alright then be that way Mr Ghost."
Adam went into the room and immediately splashed cold water on his face and went and watched TV for the rest of the night.

The gang had arrived at a hotel a bit after their meet up with Brandon and Henrik/Araquiel (and less importantly Iris,) and they did their usual dispersal into different rooms. However there was someone who had been bothering Sal for quite the while today. He was walking in the hallway going to his room when he saw Adam around there too. He needed to have a talk with the kid. "Adam, can I have a moment with you."

The kid let out a sigh and seemed rather irritated about his question. "Yes floop?" What was a floop?

"So in case you didn't realize, while your face does match what you're going for, your body is saying something completely different." He was referring to the fact that the kid had obviously used makeup to keep up his appearance, but his body was swaying more than a rocking chair, and even now he seemed kind of, distant, in his focus. All in all, the kid seemed dead tired.

"Oh..." He stayed silent for a moment. "I thought I seemed full of energy." He was apparently delusional as well.

"You look like your ready to fall on top of the nearest thing that is remotely soft and never wake up again. Heck i think you'd even settle for the floor right now."

"Nah, I'm not knackered at all... nope..." Knackered?

"Aside from me not knowing what knackered is at all, I'm just going to say this as clear as I can. Get some sleep."

"Maybe." Sal kept his calm visage despite the little rebel giving a rather childish answer.

"Not maybe. Yes. If you don't get any sleep you'll be nothing more than a liability to everyone, including yourself."

"Calm down, I'll be able to help out, I'm not useless or anything. I don't need to kip and I don't want to kip." Seriously what were all these terms being used?

"Care to tell me why you refuse to "kip?""

"Oh man, I said kip? I never say kip... oy..." He seemed to totally forget that he was even asked a question. The kid seemed to be proving Sal's point more and more with each passing moment of this exchange. Then his expression changed to that of irritation once more.

"So you can see why I'm telling you to go to sleep now right?"

"Oh I'm probably just missing home is all. It's nothing to worry about, has nothing to do with ki- sleep." Right. Home sicknesses. Sal was getting tired himself so he did not feel like asserting himself on Adam, and further pointing out the flaws in him not getting any sleep.

"Right right. Well I'll see you tomorrow. Be sure to get some sleep...or kip. Goodnight Adam."

"Goodnight then." He waved to Adam and began walking away to his room. This kid better get some sleep or this calm man was going to be paying a visit to him once more. Regardless he checked into his own bed and went to sleep for the night.

Both Brandon and Richard went to their respective rooms and fell asleep for the night.

"Relax, woman. I kept the last vessel alive longer than just a few days. A lot longer." Lei smirked. Though, admittedly, the last time he did kill poor Henry by staying in control for too long. Human bodies were so fragile. He hoped Henrik would be able to prove himself to be at least as durable as his predecessors.

    "This isn't a joke!"

'Fine. You can have your husband back.' Lei closed his eyes, prying Henrik away from the losing battle against the other consciousness before he could get killed. Once Henrik gained control of his body he cursed under his breath. The other man he had been fighting was stronger, faster, and had far superior control over his powers than Henrik had. He could hardly believe that someone could push themselves so far. Of course, Henry had years of experience over Henrik. He just had to find a way to overcome that advantage overnight before the fight continued once more. Lei didn't have to give him control of his body, he had just been playing nice with the others.

"...No problem...Everything's fine." Henrik assured Iris who hardly seemed convinced. Once the group arrived at a hotel, the two wasted no time in going to sleep although Henrik was reluctant as he was certain Lei would force him to fight against the other consciousness, Henry. Just the name alone disturbed him, as if he was supposed to be some reincarnation of Lei's past vessel doomed to fall into the same fate. After spending some time thinking over how he would approach his next encounter with the man, Henrik finally fell asleep.

Araquiel returned Henrik back to his body and afterwards they all made their way to the hotel Henrik, Iris, and Brandon were staying at. Hana reluctantly went to her room without saying anything to Sam. Things just felt weird now. Human emotions were so muddied. She thought they were supposed to be closer or something now, but they weren't. That was probably because of their agreement to keep it quiet. Either way, it was less than satisfactory to her. Perhaps it would be best if she went back to being invisible -- an assignment for a new day. She said good night to Joslyn then went to bed.

    DAY: 39 - 4/4 | DATE: October 30th, 2013 [Wednesday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Moscow, Russia

After getting into a hotel room, Joslyn sat down on her bed, thinking about what happened earlier today. When she finally saw Brandon again, she felt really happy. A wave of relief washed over her to see him standing there perfectly well, the same as always. She did feel bad about not being able to train with him at all before they got separated. He was so happy to have found a training partner and nothing happened with that.

    "Aww~"

    "What is it?"

"Nothing, I guess~" A playful tone laced the angel's voice.

    "C'mon, what is it?"

"Well, it isn't too much yet, so I don't even know if it's actually true yet, so I'll hold off on telling you. At least for now."

"Aww... I guess I can understand that..." After that, she said good night to all of the voices in her head and to Hana before heading off to sleep.

Sam went to his room and lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling. That Vincent guy really got on his nerves in the morning. Seeing his arm wrapped around her like that, it just really filled him with rage. What a womanizing creep, not knowing where to keep his hands. He would've clobbered him right there, but he knew that Hana wouldn't like that. Holding back was a little more difficult than he thought it would be. This was really messing with his head, and it was making his mood even worse. He could try to talk to her about it, if they ever got the chance to be alone again. After thinking about it for a while, he fell asleep.

    DAY: 39 - 4/4 | DATE: October 30th, 2013 [Wednesday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Moscow, Russia

As he lay on his bed, he thought about the people he had just met. One of them, Brandon, was a really upbeat and energetic fellow. He seemed like the type to make friends easily, though he could mess up what he was trying to say quite a bit. That was something that he'd need to get used to if he was traveling with him. Then there was the man and his wife that the boy was accompanying, who seemed, less than sociable. As it turned out, he was being possessed by the angel inside of him, which wasn't a good thing, judging from how Hana reacted to him. He had so much to learn about that stuff, but he could take his time with that, he thought.

Speaking of Hana, he'd need to watch how he conducted himself around her with that Sam guy around. Or, if he was really telling the truth, around girls in general. That would be very difficult for him if he really did need to watch himself around women. He couldn't help flirting with girls, it was something he did so much that it has essentially become second nature to him. Maybe if he could befriend him, it would help things somewhat. He hoped. With that in mind, he fell asleep.

Cells, how interesting, it was something that Alistair was looking forward to investigating, but for the moment he merely head off and decided to continue with lessons for the kids. He decided the next day would be the time he would dedicate to investigating these cells. Who knew what goodies were held their and just thinking about it made him quite amused. The tutoring was over and with that Alistair went to sleep.

Adam slowly got up from the seat he was sitting in, and stumbled over to the coffee maker in the hotel room, and made himself another cup of coffee. Luckily it said the coffee was complimentary, or else he wouldn't have touched it. He already finished up all the complimentary tea, and now he had to drink the coffee. And this was the last of it. Good thing it was morning.
Adam sat in the chair again and took a sip of the coffee and stared at the T.V. He was watching a pretty damn good show in his opinion, he wondering why he had never heard of it before. It was in English after all, even in Russia, which meant it had to have been made in an English speaking country.
Adam leaned back a bit to get himself comfortable. The show had been televised all night. It was about a little girl running around with a magical cigar, but she couldn't light it because she wasn't old enough. Everytime she lit the cigar, her superpowers were activated. So everytime she wanted to save the world, she had to ask a grownup to light her cigar, without telling them she was a superhero. It was funny, he wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a comedy or a drama, but it was funny.
Adam heard a voice clear itself and he looked for it, "Yeah who's there?"
Adam looked around and saw a hazy version of Semyaza sitting on a bed in the room and he waved, "Ello. You fancy this show? I fancy this show, it's sterling."
He zoned out looking at the TV and then felt something grab his shoulder, he looked back and saw Semyaza grabbing him, "Did you hear a single word I said?"
    "You spoke?"
"Can you channel enough sanity to listen to me for a few seconds?"
"I am not bonkers. I am just fine, you're the one who's gone bonkers."
"Then why is the television turned off?"
"What are ye yakking about, the telly is on. It's the show with the lass and the cigar."
"Lass? What the hell are y-"
Adam looked back towards the tv and laughed, "These adults man, they never know how to respond."
Adam felt his arm pulled and he stood up, Semyaza walked in front of Adam and gave him a look, "They will not mind. I'll pop out and tell them what happened, they can carry you around all day I don't care but you have gone too far Adam."
"I don't need to hear this from you."
Adam walked away and into the bathroom, he reapplied the makeup and collapsed down for a moment and layed his head on the counter. It felt good, just for a moment to have his head down. When he looked up he saw Semyaza behind him in the mirror and screamed, turning around, "DON'T DO THAT."
    "Stop over-reacting."
Adam walked out of the bathroom and stood for a moment in the room, trying to regain his posture and to think about what he was going to do. He started to walk across the room and grabbed his bag and stopped. He stared for a moment trying to remember what he was doing, then he gave up and sat back in the chair and looked at the tv and saw it was off.
"Did you turn off the telly Semyaza?"
"It was never on to begin with."
"Yes it was, with the lass and the cigar."
"You have been hallucinating? Oh dear... this isn't good." Semyaza grabbed their head and started pacing the room, "Kiddo this isn't good at all... oh no..."
    "I don't see a problem."
    "YOU DON'T SEE THE PROBLEM?"
"I don't see any problem at all."
    "The situation with a television?"
    "What about it?"
    "The show?"
    "What show?"
"The show with the girl and the cigar."
"What the hell are you yakking about?"
"The show you have been watching all night."
"Oh yeah... I watched a show allnight... was it about a lass and a cigar? That is confusing... sounds like something I'd remember..."
Semyaza walked over and put her hand on Adam's forehead and spoke, "Go to sleep."
    "No. I refuse to die."
"Adam I am not going to kill you. In fact, at this point, I won't even being you to Hal. You need full sleep, I am not interrupting that."
    "I refuse to die."
"Did you hear a single word I said?"
    "You spoke?"
Semyaza gripped Adam's head tighter and spoke, "One of the few times, I feel I have failed as a teacher and a leader. The effects of you being afraid of death are truly amazing. I need to discuss this with you... after you sleep." Semyaza disappeared as they whispered, "If you sleep again..."
Adam stared off for a long moment, and grabbed his bag and left the room, leaving the door open unintentionally. He headed down to the lobby and waited for the others, he tried to look as energetic as possible, but he knew it didn't look that way.

Sal found himself back in the familiar world made of water and sky. He was slightly sick of the place, but he wasn't in any position to be able to get out of it. Sal knew that whatever Zachariel was doing, it was for his own good. The fact that he no longer minded pain as much, and his whole sun aura thing had showcased that. Even still he was really not looking forward to his next battle. However, Zachariel was here this time, and smiled at his arrival. "Hello there Salvatore."

"Hello Zachariel. So what are the training plans today."

She clapped her hands together in joy. "Oh I'm so happy to hear how eager you are to train. Well you see, I have three minor domains, ones that don't necessarily correspond to either of my titles at all. Those domains are healing, sun, and earth. You, as I've already explained to you, have acquired the first stage of the power of the sun. The stage of power that revolves around perception, reflexes and speed. Or in total, hyper energy activity. In order to proceed any further in your training you must be able to access the first two stages of both healing and earth. Today we will be working on earth stage one."

"And what might that power entail?"

"Stage one refers to being sturdy and unyielding. In short, it makes you stronger and increases your ability to take attacks. Now then, let us begin." With that she disappeared and the sky turned its familiar red color. Out of where she stood came the same type of shadows that the last beast was made out of. However, when it came to fruition, it looked more spindly and much more lightweight. Nevertheless, it looked like it wanted nothing more than to kill Sal, and so the fighting began.
The spindly shadow beast charged at Sal, though in a much different way than the previous one had. While the previous one was nothing more than a bull charge, this seemed a lot more erratic. It started coming in a straight line though it started veering jumping back and forth, side to side. Sal tried to perceive its movements and tell just what it was going to do. However this plan failed spectacularly. This beast didn't exactly seem readable. Though it had eventually made its way over to Sal and commenced to go on a beat down towards him.

Sal attempted to guard against the beast but it was insane. The speed at which it attacked was too great for Sal, and for some reason he couldn't seem to access his sun aura at the moment. Zachariel was probably trying to condition him to fight this thing using the concept of his power the same way she had done previously. Thankfully this beast had considerably less strength, and as such, each punch didn't send him flying.

The beast kept attacking Sal, until he finally had had enough and was able to land a punch on the beast. The lightweight shadow was sent crashing into the ground, and Sal followed that up with a kick. The beast was sent hurtling through the air and eventually stopped, smacking hard into the water. When it had landed it simply dissipated and the creature appeared to be dead.
Sal was a bit confused by this win. The beast had been beaten rather easily this time, and Sal wasn't sure what to make of it. Was he done already? Though the sky was still red and his dream fight was still going on so he figured there was still more to this exercise. It was then that he saw the beast reform and appear from across him. He figured that this beast, while it might look the same as the last one, was going to be most definitely different from before. It started shifting around, slightly twitchy, and then did some sort of garbled roar. With that, round two was underway.

The beast's charge was much different from any other charge. That is because the beast was jumping up....and off of the air. It was like the beast was compressing the air underneath itself and bounding off of it. It eventually was literally above Sal, and then dove down to attack Sal from above. Sal had next to no counter for this and as such, the beast landed on his head. Sal fell into a stupor, stumbling around for a bit, only for the beast to go in for a spastic like beat down on Sal.

Sal eventually found an opportunity to hit the beast and as such punched that ****er right in the gut. The beast was sent backwards, but quickly recovered. It sped right at Sal again and went behind him before hitting him in the back. Sal toppled over as the beast continued to beat down upon his back. One he lay flat on the water ground, the beast tried to end Sal, only that Sal grabbed its legs and threw the beast away. Picking himself up, Sal saw the beast dash to his side, and as such he punched the beast straight in the gut. Not being able to handle it the beast was flung away and dissipated.
Sal continued to stand there waiting for the next twist this unorthodox round was going to throw at him. It was at that moment that the shadow began reforming to create a new lanky shadow beast, same as the two before. Only this time, a second one formed alongside it. Well that was interesting. He started to wonder if this was going to be some kind of reoccurring theme. Oh well. Cracking his knuckles, Sal began to face down against his two spindly shadow opponents.

This match started off with those two sprinting in a double helix formation. Well that was different. Sal braced himself ready to go in for the attack, but the two ended up splitting up once they were near Sal. They started running around in a circular formation, making Sal have quite the difficult time trying to actually make a move against them. The two of them stopped sprinting around him and lunged at Sal. One attack his back and kicked off of it, flipping backward, while the other one attacked his gut, at the same time. The two started to do this and Sal was starting to feel the sting from the these little shadows.

However, he realized that the two were attacking in synchronization. Taking a few more hits, he finally got the time down for when they weren't attacking him, and punched the one attacking from the front square in the face. He still got pushed forward a bit, as the one attacking from behind was keeping up its own attack, but Sal quickly got rid of that problem by kicking behind him. Once the two had received the blows, they both simply dissipated and vanished.
Sal stood around waiting for the fourth one of these rounds in this second set to kick off. He was much more enjoying these ones as opposed to previous ones since in these ones he was actually supposed to win each round. Lot less agonizing. Not to mention healing up bruises hurt a lot less than healing bones and organs. Nevertheless Sal stood by, and saw the familiar wisps of darkness reforming. Based on how there were two sets of ripples in the water he figured that it was going to be another two on one situation. And knowing Zachariel, these things were only bound to get stronger in this fight.

Sal observed the pair to see just what exactly it was they were going to be doing and automatically noticed a difference in the way they moved. Rather than sprinting at him in a double helix formation they automatically started circling around him. Sal was trying to get a read on them but everytime they got closer they would switch directions making it harder for him to keep up with them. Then suddenly they were right next to him attacking him. Sal tried to read into it like last time but then he noticed that they were actually moving on a rhythm of hitting him one after the other.

That certainly made him winning all the more difficult. Nevertheless, Sal persevered and tried to spot his opening for an attack, all while getting beaten by these two shadow creatures. They were attacking him in the same spots as last time so his arms were indeed free. As such Sal eventually just slammed his fists together and ended up hitting the one in the front, killing it and bloodying his knuckles. Next up came the one from behind him, in order to counter this he simply elbowed the shadowy beast, sending it off balance and on the ground and finished it off with a jovial punt.
Sal felt the slight twinge of pain course through him as his body was repaired and was ready to begin his next go at all the monsters that this trial had to offer him. After having defeated those two smarter enemies he had a good feeling as to what was going to happen next. And was proven right. Three ripples extended out from across from him and out came three spindly shadow creatures. Well the more the merrier, right?

The three started their fight off with just a simply linear charge. He figured that they were all going to go into some sort of a triangular formation and go around him, so as such he braced himself for that. Only they didn't. They just straight up charged him and attacked him all to their own leisure. Well that was annoying. And painful. They were all mercilessly beating down on Sal, no rhythm or anything, just attacking whenever they could. Sal had to figure out a way to get past these three or else he'd just be stuck getting the **** kicked out of him, which was a big no no.

Eventually the three had managed to knock Sal on the ground and just started jumping up and down on him. Was really not fond of that. As such, Sal eventually managed to grab two and throw them to the side. However, the third one was continuing to bounce on him, and so to get rid of him, Sal pushed his body up knocking the third one off. The other two had gotten up and started charging at him, but Sal simply back stepped, watched as the two rammed into each other, and then punched the both of them killing them. The third one charged him and he simply stuck his foot up and kicked it, dissipating it.
Sal stood around feeling his body repair itself. This was getting bad. He just got through what he assumed was the halfway mark, and things were already getting dicey. Not to mention he knew that these three throw caution to the win go buck wild spindly shadows were only going to get smarter here. And that was definitely going to be a problem. Though when he looked over and saw a shadow forming he only saw one coming out of the ocean. That couldn't be right. He looked around and then noticed that they were reforming in a triangle formation around him. Wonderful.

The three started out moving around, keeping their triangular formation. Their advances were rather slow, but seeing as these things were all about speed he was sure that this would not last forever. As soon they got close enough, they jumped into the air and all met up above Sal. Getting together they dived bombed him, but he simply braced himself for the attack and pushed the trio away. Well that was easy. The three pushed themselves up and got ready to attack Sal again, but not before getting back in their triangle formation.

This time they sprinted all over the place keeping to formation and were poised and ready to attack Sal. However they were already a bit too close as things stood so he simply kicked at one, killing it near instantly. The other two took this opportunity to strike at him and begin a merciless beat down upon him, trying to use the same strategy the round four shadows did. But just the same, he elbowed the one in the back and punched the one in the front and was done with them.
Sal was quite surprised at how easily those shadow creatures fell. Usually the second round was much harder than the first, but he assumed this was just a flawed concept that sounded good on paper was **** in reality. He looked onward and saw that four of the spindly shadows were forming in front of him, not keeping to this square formation thing like the others had with their triangle. He was expecting nothing short of merciless hoedown with these shadow freaks.

Round seven kicked off with the four simply charging him. Two stopped midway and the other two continued pressing on forward. Sal was ready to take on both of them rather easily when the both of them circled around to his back and the two previous ones charged him head on. He was getting ready to deal with the ones in the front when the ones in back simply charged into him and knocked him forward, leaving him to get hit by the ones in the front. Well this was bad. He was then locked into a bitter match of getting hit back and forth by these little shadow creatures with no clear way out.

However, Sal did end up of thinking how to get out of this little situation. He simply stopped trying to brace himself and instead kicked off with one foot so that while he still got hit by two of them, the other two that he dodged collided with each other and got knocked out of their rhythm. Taking this opportunity, Sal simply punched the one in the front and knocked away in the back and then punted the two that collided until they were no more.
Sal was almost positive that he had gotten this pattern figured out, it was just that he was dead wrong now since the pattern seemed to change itself on a whim. Rather than four smarter variations popping up this time five ripples began to form. Perhaps Zachariel was getting a bit impatient here. Regardless it was now a five on one and Sal needed to think to bring these shadows down, or else he was totally going to get his ass kicked.

Round eight began with the five simply bull charging Sal. He was expecting as much, but they seemed to actually be moving faster than the last four. Perhaps they were all just holding back until now with their true speed. Regardless Sal got himself ready for the onslaught and actually decided to do something other than just wait and take the attack. When the five were approaching he simply punched forward and immediately knocked one out right away. That made things significantly easier. Though it do not change the fact that four of these creeps essentially dog piled him and started beating the day lights out of him. That was bad.

Sal tried to get himself up and away from these creeps but they were just bouncing and pummeling him all around. Not fun at all really. So to try and break away from these creeps, Sal but his hands on the ground and pushed himself up to try and shake these asshats off. And shake them off he did. He took the time to run up to one of them and kick it out before it could recompose himself. He then instictevely elbowed behind himself, taking out a third one and leaving only two left. Those two simply tried to charge him, but Sal just knocked the two out rather easily, ending round eight.
Round nine became the rather odd one. Sal was not sure what to expect. He was thinking maybe six, or ten, or one thousand of these things would just pop up, but he was mildly surprised by what actually happened. There were ten of these spindly shadows that came out of the water. That seemed like quite the step up, but they looked more fragile than the last ones he fought. What really threw him off was the eleventh to show up. It was the shadow type that he had fought the previous time. The lot looked ready for a battle, and Sal was going to give it to the.

However, the weird kept getting weirder. The larger of the eleven started the match by picking up one of the small ones. After examining it for a tad, the large one hurled the thing straight at Sal. Completely taken off guard by this, Sal was sent flying backwards by this, and the small one simply retreated back to his pack. The big one then proceeded to pick up more and more of them and started simply throwing them one after another straight at Sal. Sal tried his best to dodge them, but they kept coming at a pretty fast rate and kept slamming into him, all while scurrying back to their pack. This was getting truly annoying.

Eventually Sal decided he'd do the only thing left he could do. Take them head on. The big one continued to throw them at Sal and Sal simply proceeded to punch at them with full force. Each time one was thrown, Sal would connect his fist with the one being thrown at him. This took a while to do, and he wasn't always successful, but in the end, with bloodied knuckles to show for it, Sal had emerged victorious over the thrown shadows.
Sal was expecting a fight against the big one next, but the big one didn't move at all. It simply stood around waiting for something to happen.Sal started to feel his battered body heal up and realized that he was going into round ten. Well that was a different way to segue into it. After his injuries healed he faced his shadowy competitor. The beast glared at him and snarled, and the two were ready for their final showdown of the night.

The beast began with its usual matter, a simple bull charge straight towards Sal. Sal had already beat this kind of enemy before so he was expecting something different but the way his body was and the way he moved seemed exactly the same. As such Sal simply dodged out of the way and began to fight against the thing the way he had before. It kept throwing punches at him but Sal kept dodging and counter attacking. It was actually pretty easy to manage and in the end Sal pretty much beat the beast away and had won.

Or so he thought. After doing his beatdown on the beast, the beast simply picked itself up and was ready to go at him again. Only this time it was different. It had some gold aura around it and its eyes were gold as well. Oh ****. The beast launched itself up and sprinted at Sal. The thing was moving considerably faster than before and Sal could barely keep up with its movements. He got beaten around and sent hurtling through the air, quite gracefully he might add. When the beast started to charge at him again, Sal put his hands on the ground and pushed himself off the ground, kicking the beast square in the chest. Due to the injuries it had already sustained it was good enough to kill the beast thus ending the round. When all was over and done with, the shadow simply collapsed back into an orb and the orb turned from pure black to a green and blue color. Sal put his hand on the orb and it simply absorbed into him. With that, the dream world started to fade away and Sal realized he was waking up.

Getting out of bed Sal felt kind of tired from his night time session of training. As such he stretched out a bit and was ready to get going out of Russia in no more than a few minutes afterwards. He didn't mind staying in Italy for so long for a few reasons. One, he was simply observing how things were run before and how things were done. Secondly, Italy had nice weather. Now he was in cold Russia and was basically trying to get this group to get the lead out their pants and do things. As such he left his room and knocked on everyone else's door telling them to get up and get packed. He was greeted at one door with Richard who simply silently walked away and went to go to the lobby, to presumably sleep more. Next up was Brandon who opened his door rather excitedly. "Hey there Salami. Everyone getting up already? Are you sure you don't need me to knock on their doors with tennis balls?"

Well the kid certainly knew how to get his names wrong. He also had no idea what he meant by that last part, but he didn't really care too much. "Positive." With that Sal left to go to eat breakfast and wait in the lobby. Waiting alongside the sleeping Richard and the tennis playing Brandon.

Hana was in the process of getting dressed when a knock came at her door. She ignored it since the knock only lasted for one go. She glanced over to Joslyn and gave the girl a shake. The compass was hanging from her sleeping neck and appeared to be pointing further west, rather than back to whomever was in the east. There must have been someone else in Russia much closer. Hay Sun perhaps? Hana dropped the compass and made her way out of the hotel room and towards the lobby. She thought it best to get everyone checked out so that they could leave immediately.

She entered the lobby and noticed Adam sitting in a chair. He looked to be in a serious daze. Hana narrowed her eyes at him. Her dark eyebrows furrowed and she sighed. She would deal with Adam later, for now, she needed to get them checked out of their rooms. Hana went to the desk and spoke to the woman behind the counter. The woman tapped away at her computer for a minute, checking out each of the rooms, then looked back up at Hana and nodded. Hana thanked her and crossed the lobby to Adam's disoriented form.

Adam, are you okay? You look rather out of it. she asked him. There was concern in her voice and she tilted her head to the side.

... What'd you say? he asked her. Adam was definitely out of it. There were dark rings under his eyes and confusion written all over his face.

Are. You. Okay? she asked a second time, kneeling down in front of him.

Her words seemed to register a second time and he straightened up. Oh. Yeah I'm fine... His eyes widened and he stared intensely at her face. It was a little unnerving. Hana took a step back from him.

How long have you been awake? she asked. Adam was clearly trying to look more awake then he was. He was probably having trouble sleeping or something.

How long have you had red eyes? he countered. Adam reached out cautiously, touching her forehead. I didn't think they were always red... were they green- no... blue... damn what color are your eyes naturally. Red? Is that why they call you Red?

Hana cocked a brow and pursed her lips. There was something definitely up with Adam. She shook her head and turned away from him, heading back to her room. Hana pursed her lips and creases formed in her forehead. She slid the keycard into the slot and the light turned green. Her hand wrapped around the handle and she pushed the door open to see Joslyn awake now.

She shoved her things into a new duffel bag and set a hand down on Joslyn's shoulder when she was done. Jos, I think you need to talk to Adam. I don't think he's slept in a significant amount of time and you'll probably be the only one that can get him to sleep given your connection with him. Hana tapped her finger to Joslyn's forehead. Semyaza and Azazel had a deep bond. If anyone could talk Adam into sleeping, it would be Joslyn.

Waking up was nothing special, he followed the mere daily routine and placed his jacket and hat on and proceeded out of the room. Training the kids would happen later on, but for now there were thinks he wanted to check out. He wondered if he actually needed any of the stuff he found in the operating room but it was always safe to bring them along just in case. Passed the locked doors he already checked, Alistair walked and smirked as he went down the stairs leading to the basement.

Not a word was said, but the smirk on his face had not changed as he walked down past the cells. "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn you guys are ugly" Alistair said quite jovial as he walked on and looked at the residence of the cells. He was awaiting something gruesome in hell and here it was. Demons all confined in little cells, what they did to deserve this punishment was something he didn't know but like all things he was quite curious about it.

Unfazed by the scene, Alistair walked on and raised his eyebrow as a peculiar cell caught his attention. Stopping in his trek, Alistair turned towards the cell and stared into it, not getting close enough in the case something might jump at him "Helloooooooo you alive in there?" Alistair yelled cheerfully into the cell. Hopefully something interesting would pop out.

    Joslyn Taylor Jones
    DAY: 40 - 2/4 | DATE: October 31st, 2013 [Thursday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Moscow, Russia

Several minutes after Hana shook her, Joslyn woke up in a daze. She looked around to see if the red-haired girl was still around. When the pale-skinned girl realized she wasn't, she got out of bed and went into the bathroom.

    "Good morning, honey~"

"Good mooorniiing~" She said as she vigorously swished the brush around her mouth.

"So what's the plan for today?"

"I don't know~" The girl swished some water around her mouth before spitting it out.

After finishing her business in the bathroom, she changed her clothes and went back to sat down on her bed. "Man, I'm really bored~"

"I don't know what to do though." Joslyn started to play with a lock of her hair. Almost as soon as she said that, Hana came back into the room.

She put her stuff into a new duffel bag before putting a hand on her shoulder. Jos, I think you need to talk to Adam. I don't think he's slept in a significant amount of time and you'll probably be the only one that can get him to sleep given your connection with him. She tapped her finger to the pale girl's forehead.

"A-Adam? Uhh..." At the mention of him, she quickly looked down in embarrassment. "Umm... D-do... Do I have to?"

"Hmm, I know I said not to talk to him for a while, but if it's to help Semy get him to sleep... I think we should..."

    "Yeah, but-"

"Honey, I think we should really-"

"But he has the wrong idea about me-"

"Honey." The tone in her voice dropped. "I think. We should help. Semyaza. O. K?"

"O-o-o-okay..." She reluctantly got up off of the bed and made her way over to the lobby. He was just sitting there looking completely out of it. How long had he gone without sleep? It didn't really matter she guessed, as long as she would be able to convince him to go to sleep. She took a seat beside him, unsure of what to say.

"Well, you should probably say something, huh?"

    "I know, but what?"

"Umm... Start by asking how he is. We can figure out how to get him to sleep later."

"Okay." She took a few seconds to compose herself before asking. "S-so... H-how have y-you been?"

Movement stirs in the shadows of the cell. A figure rises limply and crawls forward. A man, bloody and broken, with only one wing; wraps his hands around the cell bars and faces you. "Alive," he coughs, "wouldn't exactly be the right word, Azrael." he says to you. His black skin is cut and bleeding. There are deep scars all over his naked body. The one wing left on his back hangs limply at his side.

The demons were nothing to him and could not even entertain him in the slightest, but the mere moment the man in the cell made himself known his eyebrow rose as the tattered man. "Ah...so you can talk...and you know who I am" Alistair said as he narrowed his eyes with a small smirk. There was no doubt this man was an angel, but the state he was in made him look like anything but an angel.

Alistair leaned back against the wall behind him and crossed his arms as he stared over at the new angel before him. "Let me guess...Temeluchas fucked you up pretty bad....well then again I'm understating that though" Alistair said closing his eyes as he chuckled to himself quietly as he lowered the tip of his hat with one hand before opening up his brightened amber eyes and stared over at the worn angel.

"Well then shall we converse for a bit?" Alistair said removing his hat before taking a bow before the person he spoke to "My name is Alistair Grey, reincarnation of the angel Azrael. Shall I have your name good sir?"Alistair said before placing the hat back on his head. "Please satisfy my curiosity..." Alistair said opening one eye and narrowing it with a smirk.
