Brandon smiled as he saw the reply from Xana. It was good to know his message had gotten across, and he certainly wouldn't just let the group down. No! He would continue to update them of their progress...that is when they actually made some. Brandon actually hadn't even seen Heinry for the entire day, and as such was just doing angel practice. The standard stuff really. Really just coating himself with electricity and amping it up until it caused him some form of exhaustion. With the day coming to a close Brandon had gone back to his dorm room, and finally went to bed there waiting for the next days events to pass.

    "S-so... umm... H-how long h-have you had the c-c-cat?"
Adam was surprised she had actually cared about the cat in the end, whenever he went on tangents like that people would usually ignore him. Even before the angel mess they were common, they didn't involve cats they involved things he found important. He found that dumb little cat important.
"My grandfather took him in when I was 9... and he was full grown then... so I've known the cat for almost ten years."
And it has been there with me through hard times... almost like a sibling. Except it's a cat... and it doesn't talk... and it probably doesn't care either. Although maybe siblings wouldn't want to hear their siblings complain either...
Then Adam mentioned how he was going to go and get it food and go to the plane feed it, and everything. Asked if Joslyn wanted to come and she said sure and then they both ran off and took a bus or some other means of transportation, went to the store, got catfood, went to the airport, fed the cat. Rubbish was angry at Adam but liked Joslyn and found it cute and then they went back to the hotel.
Adam found it a fun little run, not sure how Joslyn felt, he dropped her off at her hotel room and told her goodnight and headed back to his room. He felt tired, and half wanted to fall asleep, but the sudden memory of that fight made him force himself to stay awake. Adam turned on the T.V and spent the rest of the night distracting himself until the morning.

Henrik had planned for them to leave in the morning but obviously that didn't happen. Instead, he had spent most of the day arguing with Kalia while continuously avoiding her questions on what was really going on. Eventually, he managed to annoy her enough to warrant her fist ramming into his jaw. Kalia wasn't the type of person to just slap someone. When she got angry, she got really angry. Thankfully, given his abilities he could barely feel it but to avoid hurting her pride he acted as if it actually hurt him.

'Maybe you shouldn't have asked her to pay for a flight out of Russia.' Lei commented with no intention of hiding his amusement in his tone.

    'Maybe you should shut up.'

'Really? I expected some witty banter from you. Did she hit you that hard?'

Henrik sighed and refused to give Lei any further response as he headed back to the dorm where Iris was already waiting for him. "She really has it out for me." Henrik muttered lowly. "Asking her for any other favors was a bad idea." He sat down on the bed and scratched the back of his head, looking at Iris who had just started pacing back and forth. He knew what she was thinking but couldn't muster up the will to talk about it directly. "I know..." Henrik rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes. "But worrying ourselves to death won't change anything." So, after some time passed, the two went to sleep.

It was pretty nice to be teaching such obedient children. It had seemed Lu had a certain curriculum planned due to the textbooks and went with what was given to him. He wasn't like the normal teachers and he tried his best to lighten the mood a bit. If this was to be his job then surely he could at least embed some of his personality into them and piss off Lu in whatever way he could. The lesson came to an end and Alistair smiled as he ate the sandwich he was given. He noticed her fall asleep and smiled "daww how cute..." Alistair said with a small chuckle before taking off his jacket and hat before joining the woman on the other side of the bed and fell asleep.

    DAY: 37 - 4/4 | DATE: October 28th, 2013 [Monday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Venice, Italy

After getting back to the hotel from her little trip with Adam, she decided that she liked the time she spent with him. Whether or not it was because of the whole Azazel and Semyaza thing was still a little iffy. Even so, she genuinely enjoyed their time together. They said goodbye before she went to her room.

When she got back to the hotel room, Hana was already asleep. Because of that, she decided that she should go to sleep as well. This was the second time that she came back to see her sleeping before her. After saying good night to the extra people in her head, she quickly fell asleep.

With Abaddon's decision to show up, he realized that things would probably get a lot more painful if he didn't start breaking things again. It really sucked that it happened like this. Right after Hana had come up to him to talk about their relationship. That certainly killed the mood. To top things off, his shoulder was injured yet again. For some reason, his shoulder received a lot of punishment. Whether from outside influence or inward, it was always the shoulder. The pain rang throughout his body as he lay on the bed. He had no idea how to brush off the scarring to Hana, but he would deal with that when the time came. With the pain still resonating through his body, he fell asleep.

Adam heard the rain at first, but didn't pay much mind to it at first. He assumed it was a common storm or something, but after a good amount of time, his program on television was interrupted to bring news about evacuations due to the flood apparently happening right outside the hotel. Adam didn't believe it at first, so he walked up to the window and looked out onto the streets, although it was night, the city lights allowed for him to see how high the water was rising.
    Oh shit.
Adam quickly grabbed all of his things and ran out of the room and started going up to all the doors he knew had occupants from his group. He saw how Samuel woke up when Brandon woke him up in daylight, now he was interrupting sleep, in the middle of the night, to get them up and moving due to a flood. Maybe he'd be a bit more understanding.
At every door he knocked on loudly, he shouted, "Everyone in there wake up! It's flooding outside, we need to get out of here!"

Sal awoke to the sound of something different. It was the sound of a boy shouting to everyone in the entire hotel to get up and get out. Opening the door, still garbed in his pajamas and night cap that he had put on for the night, and saw that an oddly familiar looking kid was shouting. He was certain that he had seen him somewhere before, but just couldn't put his finger on it. It was then that Zachariel informed him that the person who he was looking at was the Infamous Rebellion Semyaza. That was it, he was there with the others at the restaurant on the night he had found out about Zachariel. Calmly walking out of his room, he smiled to the boy. "Good effort on trying to wake everyone up and alert them to this terror. Anyway, I'm going to go wait outside while you guys get to formulating a game plan or something to get yourselves, and hopefully me too, out of this mess." He waved to the boy and calmly walked amidst all the chaos of the hotel goers and simply stood at the door of the hotel waiting for everyone else.[DOUBLEPOST=1382211857][/DOUBLEPOST]

Richard woke up to the sounds of terror passing by. He opened his eyes to note that he had fallen asleep in a hotel lobby chair. Whoops. Regardless of that small little detail he looked around and saw that people were running in fear of something. Getting out of his chair he walked around until he was outside and noticed a massive torrential downpour and the city starting to show signs of a possible city wrecking flood. What a bother this was going to be. He sighed as he heard a voice come from behind him. "Good morning." Richard turned around to see one of the recent additions to this group standing there...smiling like he gave no fucks whatsoever. "Now now, you better go help the boy up there out, or things could go really sour really fast. I'll just be here awaiting your group's collective collaborative decision until then." What an ass.

Reluctantly Richard walked away from the man and made his way upstairs past the panicking people. He saw Adam trying to shout at the doors to get everybody up and awake and away from the danger of the flood. "Yo." Richard waved good morning to the kid. "I'll help get them up for a sec." With that, Richard simply hit the doors of the hotel room with considerable force, though not enough to damage the doors. After that was done with he walked back to wait for the response of the people in the rooms. The entire gang needed to find some way to some sort of safety boat, probably through Leo most likely. Though he was feeling like something was missing. Or rather someone. Then it hit him like a whale to a school of krill. "Oh yeah, we also have to leave and get that Vincent guy who we met at the restaurant and then never saw again."

Even though in initial part of his plan never happened, Logan still sat on his bed watching tv. The good thing was that he'd actually found a channel to stick with so he at least had that. Hearing the sound on rain hitting the window did somewhat attract his attention, but he paid it little mind. If it was just a simple storm or just rain there was no need to worry about it.

"Everyone in there wake up! It's flooding outside, we need to get out of here!"

The combination of the knocking and the shouting surprised him. Though he words were true since eh could hear the rain getting heavier as it continued to hit the window. This was going to a problem, though since he was still dressed, he wasted no time leaving the room and stepping outside.

While the others were still probably getting up, he went ahead to the lobby. When there he saw that there was the man that he'd talked before and the man who'd been sleeping on the chair had finally gotten up and left from his spot. Still they would need an exit strategy and unless they all were Olympic swimmers, a boat was there best option.

Vincent was roused from his sleep by the heavy rain. When he went to check outside, he saw that it was flooding outside. This was bad, this was really bad. He had to get out of there and meet up with those people he had promised to go with. Unfortunately, they never told him which hotel they were staying at, which made things even worse. He figured that they'd probably be in a hotel close to where his restaurant was, so that narrowed it down a little bit. It was a good thing that he knew how to get around Venice thanks to his skirt chasing. The big problem was that it would be difficult to traverse the city with the water rising so quickly.

With the things that he packed on his back, the Italian made his way outside, where he was immediately pelted by the falling rain. He had no idea what he would do until he saw two nearby gondolas. This was great, he'd be able to get to the hotel a little bit faster that way. After apologizing to whoever owned it, he got into one of them, attaching the other by rope, and made his way to the area near his restaurant. With all of the rainfall, he'd need to bail out every once in a while to keep himself afloat.

After making his way to the area around his restaurant, he looked around for the hotel he thought they'd be at. Hopefully he was right about that, he wasn't sure if he had the energy to every single one of the hotels. Coming to a stop in front of a hotel, he got out of the gondola to check if any of them were there. At the front of the hotel was an oddly calm looking kid. "Umm, you're friends with Adam and Joslyn and the red-haired beauty, right?" That was excellent, he was right on the money. "Look, I've got a couple of boats we can use, get everyone of your group out here, okay?" Without waiting for an answer, Vincent made his way back to the boat to keep bailing and make sure the gondolas stayed afloat.

So it was flooding. That was dandy. The residents of the city seemed relatively ready for this, but Jun Tae had little to no experience with flooding. Maybe he did, but he couldn't remember. The storm outside was heavy and everyone was scrambling. It seemed that today's White Knight was the Italian native, Vincent, who Jun Tae remembered from the cafe on their first day back.

With everything he had ( which was all he brought ), he stood his ground against the broad, strong wind and rain that was threatening to knock the group off their feet and whisk them to unknown lands.

Jun Tae eyed the boat, but really, it seemed like their only option. He glanced at the others and then his sights fell on Joslyn, who looked something akin to a wet kitten out of place in a storm that would swallow her up. He didn't understand how Azazel could be in such a vessel sometimes. "Don't stand around," he said to her, sweeping her up, "We're going to drown if we stay here." Before getting into the gondola himself, he set her in there and then looked expectantly at the others.

He wondered if Hay Sun was fairing better in Russia.

Sal seeing a man who Zachariel referred to as Raphael, Angel of Healing, now thought that they were all saved. Woo~
As such Sal made his way back upstairs to inform everyone who was up and about that no plan of action was necessary and that they were all saved by an Italian angel with a pair of gondolas. A sentence that sounded a bit weird, but was true nonetheless. After informing the people upstairs he simply made his way back downstairs and started his way back to the gondola. Once on board he merely waited and watched for everyone else.

Richard ended up staying a tad longer, knocking on all the doors he could trying to get people out of there. Once he had done all he really could he left to go downstairs and be saved by the gondola man. He recognized the man as the Italian chef they had met the first day in Italy and never saw again. Well he certainly had convenient timing. Getting in the boat he simply sat down waiting for everyone else....because he could not actually force any one on board in the counter situation....fucking counters.

When Joslyn woke up, she was completely unaware of what was happening, but people were knocking on doors and telling them to get out. Grabbing her things, she tiredly made her way outside, where she was bombarded by the heavy rain. It was quite the sight to see such a frail thing being hit by such a heavy rainfall. She stood there waiting to see what to do. However, before she could even let out a sound, she was helped onto some boat by Leo. Still confused, she sat there, helping to scoop out water from the inside of the boat because Vincent asked her to.

Sam woke up with an angry look on his face. Moving out of the bed was painful thanks to the little present Abaddon gave him. He gathered his things and made his way outside and into the torrential rain. The pain in his shoulder was accentuated by the rain falling onto it. He saw the Italian guy from that restaurant in a boat with a few of the others from the group. Sam made his way into the boat before realizing that Hana wasn't in either of the boats. He started to get worried.

Adam finished knocking on all of the doors and got downstairs in time to hear that Vincent had arrived and brought them gondolas. He was suddenly thankful about that, and glad that he and Joslyn had found him, who knows how screwed they would be if he hadn't brought them.
Adam looked at first to see if everyone was accounted for, his vision blurred up for a moment and it was hard to him to keep his eyes open, "Where's Hana, Kai, and Logan?" Adam was too dizzy to run back, he figured Hana of all people would be able to make it before they had to leave. He knew nothing about Kai and Logan so he only hoped they were able to.
Adam climbed onto one of the two gondolas and stared over at the doors waiting for the other three to make it in time.

As he stood there basically just looking outside in the rain, he saw the two boats appear nearby and driving was the guy they'd met a few days back. Well this was quite fortunate, especially since more people were leaving the hotel and getting on board. Since the last thing he wanted was to be left behind, he joined the others leaving and made his way onto the boat.

Hana had heard Adam's voice shouting about the flood and Richard's pounding on the doors. She could see out the window how hard it was raining and that the streets were rising. Venice was a terrible place for a flood. She gathered up the stuff in the room and shoved it into a bag. She changed quickly and rushed out the door, bumping into Kai who was a mess and looking confused. He was struggling to shove his notebooks in his backpack when she ran into him. We have to go.

He rolled his eyes and gave her a 'no kidding' look. She rushed down the hall, Kai trailing after him. Her footsteps thundered under her feet as she made her way down the staircase. Hana stumbled forward, almost tripping on her way down. Kai grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back. She glanced over her shoulder and smiled at him appreciatively. When they made it to the lobby, water soaked her shoes as it flooded in from under the doors.

Water pelted her as they rushed outside, seeing everyone standing on a couple of gondolas. Where's Hana, Kai, and Logan? She looked over to Adam and watched as Logan climbed into one of the boats.

We're right here. Relax. I had to make sure we grabbed everything and everyone was out of the hotel. she told him. Kai held her arm to support her as she hopped onto the boat. He tossed her his backpack and lunged on after her. She looked up to see Vincent there as well. When did that happen? The sound of rain pelting off of buildings was thunderous. Let's move. She held her bag close to her chest. The water was quickly soaking her to the bone. She glanced around doing a head count. Everyone was there but Hay Sun, but Uriel made it pretty clear after their trip to Rome that he wouldn't be sticking around. The Archangel had probably taken off to find Ariel. They would have to get in touch with him soon, hopefully he hasn't destroyed Hay Sun's body already.

Sal merely sat back and watched the scene unfold. While he was not the first one in the boat he saw mostly everyone else just pile in to the boat. When they had all allegedly arrived on the gondola he watched the flood worsen and worsen. He was positive that the flood was only going to get worse and as everyone was reiterating they truly needed to get themselves out of this storm. In the end the gang took there odd duo of gondola until they ended up in another Italian town known as Padua. Once there the rain had let up on them, for the most part, and they comically lowered down onto the street where the group sat there. Once there they simply walked out of the gondola and all piled into a hotel to take refuge for a while. Sal looked around to the group and something seemed...off about it. Oh well. "So, call it a hunch, but I'm going to assume that this is what happens when we stay in an area for too long. Anyway," he was still speaking rather calmly, "what do you all usually do next? I mean like, when it comes to choosing a location to go to?" Then he realized why the group looked off. "Did anyone notice Hay Sun at all?" It'd be rather bad if the fiery Asian girl was killed in the flood.

Did you say today is October 29th? I know the year is 2013... The 38th day of what? I know the day is 2/4 over. I'm in Launceston, Australia. I'm wearing a dress. I have nothing else to say.

Lauren sat in the living room of her house, uncomfortably squirming and waiting for Alice. She was not going to work today, because she had Tuesdays off. Alice managed to get this Tuesday off after noon, but Alice told Lauren to put on a dress and she would pick her up afterwards.
Lauren felt her ocelot jump on her lap and she scratched behind it's ears, then nudged it off her lap so she could stand up and pace, but she tripped in her heels and caught herself on the drapery of her window and brought it down with her.
As soon as she fell, she heard a voice in the doorway to the living room, "Are ya'lright love?" Alice walked over and helped her up and then lifted up the curtains, and saw the rod had snapped, "We'll make a stop."
The two walked out to the car, Lauren jumped in the passenger seat and kept shifting around and playing with her dress, "Stop that, you aren't going to keel over."
"It's not that I don't like dresses... I just hate dresses..."
"You didn't mind the wedding dress."
    "It was fluffy, and blue..."
"Well then, want me to get you another fluffy, blue dress?"
    "...Nah."
After about 30 minutes they reached their destination. Alice had driven them up to George Town, Alice and Lauren both got out of the car and walked into a restaurant. Alice asked for a table on the outdoor patio because it was beautiful out, and since George Town was coastal, the restaurant deck was right by the water. It wasn't near a swimmers beach, so it was just beautiful scenery entirely.
Lauren looked at the ocean for a little, then turned to Alice questioningly, "Why do we always go North for food?"
    "Gas isn't cheap..."
"What does gas have to do with it?"
Alice looked up from the menu and went to speak and then just shook her head, "I like going north, tourists don't come to the shoreline, they come to see the forests."
Lauren looked down at the menu and read through it and spoke, "Why sushi though..."
    "This isn't a sushi restaurant..."
    "But they are selling fish."
Alice blinked at her and grabbed Lauren's hand and rubbed her thumb on the top, "Not all fish is sushi..."
Lauren looked confused and then turned the page on the menu and grinned, "Steak!"
    "You want steak then?"
"Yah." she sung before Alice leaned over and pecked her on the lips, "Do you want me to get chicken so we can split it."
Lauren nodded and then knocked over her silverware, that Alice caught at last second, and put it back on the table.
    "Can we get some wine?"
"Do you need it, it isn't that late in the day y-"
    "I want some wiiiine."
Alice looked defeated and spoke, "Yeah fine, but only one glass."

Brandon woke up that morning ready and raring to go. Yeah! Today was going to be the day they left Russia and went on to bigger and better things. Like Guatemala. There was bound to be something of angelic significance in Guatemala. Why? Fuck if I know. Regardless Brandon simply bounded out of bed and got himself dressed up all nice and lightly dressed like he was living in the autumn on the east coast of the United States. Oddly specific, I know. Anyway, Brandon walked downstairs to notice that no one at all was up and awake yet. Kind of reminiscent of yesterday really. Regardless of that, Brandon simply chilled out (all the puns intended) in the lobby and bounced around his tennis ball while putting up his electric jacket to keep warm. He was thinking about his skills with the tennis racket and one of his most potent techniques, the ignite serve. He had this odd urge to make the serve all the more better. I mean, as things stood, it was pretty unstoppable, but if this role play was anything like most RPGs, those demon students were only the mooks. Cannon fodder. The Zergling rush. As such there was probably stronger enemies to come, and Brandon needed to get as ready as possible for it. With that in mind he continued to bounce his ball around and chill in the lobby.

They managed to take the gondolas quite a ways. The storm berated them the whole way. Kai was glad the others couldn't read his mind, because if they knew he was more worried about his journals than himself, it probably wouldn't go over well. I never got to find out about Rome. Kai hadn't wanted to bother them with stopping at that spot near the Colosseum, not after what happened. Now he was even less likely to know. That was, unless he asked the red - head herself. He was kind of scared to.

Kai rubbed a towel over his head and glanced around at the others. He was still in his wet clothes and they stood down in the lobby. The hotel manager brought them all a large stack of towels to dry off before heading up to their rooms. He didn't want them all to track water everywhere. That's what Hana said. She seemed to know a lot of languages. English, German, Italian -- he wondered how many others.

So, call it a hunch, but I'm going to assume that this is what happens when we stay in an area for too long. It was that Sal guy. Apparently he was from Portugal. He wasn't Italian like everyone assumed. Kai rolled his eyes at the guy.

It is, Hana replied. Only this time it didn't involve a plane crashing or a hotel being destroyed.

Did that happen a lot? He remembered more than one story about a hotel being turned into rubble.

Anyway, Sal said calmly, what do you all usually do next? I mean like, when it comes to choosing a location to go to?

The compass guides us. Hana lifted the compass up from Joslyn's chest and glanced down at it. There was a smile on her face as she looked at the direction. Why was she smiling.

Did anyone notice Hay Sun at all? he asked.

That seemed to take the smile off Hana's face. She turned to face the rest of the group and exchanged glances with that Leo guy. He seemed strange. The guy definitely weirded Kai out. He let the towel hang around his shoulders and rifled through his bag for the dream notebook. He pulled it out just as Hana started to speak. Uriel left. He probably went after Ariel. Hay Sun should be fine so long as the Archangel doesn't stay in control for too long, but she's also better off with him helping her the way he is. We go where the compass points us.

Kai peeled off some of his soggy layers and took a seat in one of the chairs. There was a pen sitting on the table beside it and he picked it up, flipping through the pages of his composition journal. It was damp and a lot of the pages seemed to bleed together. He had to flip a ways for a dry one, but managed eventually and started writing.

My presence goes almost completely unnoticed. The others run into me often. They don't realize I'm there until after the fact. I don't belong in this group. I thought it was bad enough being ignored, but now I'm actually a part of a group, and yet not at the same time. I haven't done any of that training they talked so much about. They have these strange wand - like things. Not everyone does, but a good portion of them do. I don't understand this world I've just been thrust into. Most days I wish I could go back to my desk at the library where my only problem was what Frau Meinster would make me do next. I don't want to be held responsible for their deaths. Why did she entrust me with the weapons? Kai Alois Engel, you have to stop complaining. We all have to do things we don't like. Such is life. Do not give up just yet. If you wish to know what happened so desperately, all you must do is look inside yourself. The answer is there.

Kai dropped the pen. He had lost all control of his hand. His reddish - brown eyes were wide as he stared at the words on the paper. That wasn't his handwriting. He didn't write those things. Kai slammed the notebook shut and shoved it back in his bag. His heart was racing. What was this madness?

    "It's not about the money."

"I was hoping you wouldn't say that. Look, I know we didn't end things on the best terms but--"

"Just shut up. The more time you spend here the worse I feel for her."

"Then why aren't you helping us out here?" Henrik knew Kalia had some point to make but whatever it was, she was refusing to say it. A long moment passed without any response to his question as she stared at him silently. "So it's just out of spite then?" Still no response. Henrik sighed and shook his head before leaving the room to head back to get Iris. Maybe she would have an easier time talking Kalia into getting them a flight out of there. He had hardly gotten a chance to prepare for travelling when he first left home and was forced to make due with what money he had on his person and now that had run out. ...And they couldn't exactly walk out of the country.

Henrik picked up his pace, feeling as if he was going nowhere fast. The path seemed so much longer than usual but perhaps that was just because of his impatience. The faster he walked the farther away everything else seemed to get. He finally stopped walking, clenching his fists tightly. "I don't have time for your games."

"And I've lost my patience with all of your human drama." Lei walked out in front of Henrik, hands clasped behind his back.

"I'm not even asleep. Considering how you've only tried to kill me at night..." Henrik approached Lei, intending to walk past him. "You don't have any power here. So don't waste my time with idle threats."

Lei gripped Henrik's arm, stopping him in his tracks. "Are you sure about that, professor?"
