There was a low groan as Logan finally stirred awake with a lingering pain in his head. "Man, is this what a hangover feels like. Remind me never to drink then." He said to no one in particular as he looked around. All around him people were laying on the ground, save for a few people who were either on their feet or just waking up. He took a moment to sit up before turning to face the church, or what was left of it seeing as how now it was just a pile of rubble. Okay what happened here?

To put it bluntly, you got knocked the fuck out

Samael had decided to shed a little bit of light as to why he was laying on the ground in pain, but when Logan asked what happened to the church, he got no answer. While he had no idea if this was Samael being his usual cryptic self or if he actually didn't know and since any attempts in perusing a answer would for a fact lead to him being cryptic. Logan instead got up and nudged Allen awake.

Lu sat on the chair with her back pressed against it. Her head was pointed up and her eyes locked onto the ceiling. She was trying to recover without looking weak. She had been putting Alistair through the punishments of the curse, but saving herself. Now, she did not have that leisure. "Do tell me, what do you have planned? Going to keep things hush hush as usual my dearie?" He asked her.

She rolled her eyes to the ceiling and brought her finger up to her lips, shushing him. "The walls have ears. First the time being, you will in fact remain in the dark." It was too risky to continue speaking about the depths of her plans while located in the palace. They needed to leave as soon as possible.

"Why did you want to bring Azazel along? I guess I would have been okay with her host coming along...but we know even less about Azazel then we did of that girl who was transformed." Soren asked, clearly not pleased by Cal's suggestion.

She stood nose to nose with him, giving a defiant aura about her. "I believe everyone deserves a chance." She told him pointedly. "You're right that we know little about her, but she came from the same group as your father, whole is now trying to help us. Plus, I knew more than enough about you and yet I still gave you a chance." Her words came out more bitter and cold than she had intended. Cal turned back to her bed and grabbed the box she left abandoned on it. "I'm going to find Caius. Stay here. I'll be back before your father returns." That word strangely tasted like acid in her mouth. Cal head down the hallway and out the door in search of the other boy.

Standing in the middle of the hallway, Caius stood deep in though, wondering if he should return back to the nephilim room or not. He needed to speak to Cal and him just leaving like that was cowardly. He couldn't just leave things like this, but he feared speaking to her, to see if she hated him or not. He told himself that what happened with Manitos was not going to affect his relationship with Cal, but even so it was hard.

The sound of footsteps snapped him out of his thoughts and as he turned around to see who it was, Caius' eyes widened upon noticing just who it was "C-Cal..." Caius said softly. He noticed the box that she held in her hands and though she had yet to open it, Caius felt quite happy to see her actually hold the box.

He wouldn't cower anymore, it would be an insult to just flee from the girl that had done so much for his."Cal...I'm sorry" Caius said lowering his head. "I'm sorry I left without telling you anything..." Caius said.

"Cal...I'm sorry." Caius said lowering his head. "I'm sorry I left without telling you anything..."

Action spoke louder than reason and her hand moved before she could stop it. How dare he just take off to do something reckless and then ask for forgiveness after. She couldn't be mad at him while he was gone because she had to worry for his safety, but now that he was back, she knew he was safety and could finally get angry.

    She slapped him.

Her hand stung from connecting with his face. Her red eyes shot daggers and words couldn't seem to form. She held her hand to her chest and the box in her other. Cal shook her head and tears leaked down her face. It wasn't fair. Everyone was always trying to do stuff for her sake and she never asked them too. She was more than capable of doing it on her own. She wasn't helpless.

"I won't forgive you," she finally managed to choke out. "You left when were already planning to leave. And for what? To help steal a baby? Mali isn't coming back to us. I've already accepted that. I wish you and Soren would too. So I won't forgive you for being stupid." The wrapping on the box sash wrinkled and ripped in some places. It had received a great deal of abuse in his absence.

Her features softened and she sighed. Cal stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face into his chest. "I'm just glad you're okay. None of you are allowed to act recklessly on my behalf any further. Otherwise I'm the one you'll need to fear."

Soren started to walk towards the door after Cal when she left.

    "Don't go."

He stopped and looked over towards his sister. "Why?"

"Because our father told us to stay here."

"Father? Yesterday he was still Henrik to you. When did you start calling him that?" Soren turned around and walked over to Anna. "Why should we listen to him anyways? He's the one who let us get taken here in the first place. He wasn't strong enough to do anything about it. I am."

"What's the point in giving him a hard time?"

    "Really?"

"Caius's father is terrible. Cal and Mali's parents are dead. And Mali's left us. So...do you see my point?"

Soren crossed his arms and nodded at his sister. "Yeah."

Meanwhile, Henrik knocked on Azazel's door.

The slap across his face stung more than any form of injury he had ever felt before, but it was something Caius knew that he deserved. The pain on her face, the anger and sorrow she held made his heart break. He understood why she felt like that and her not forgiving him was justified.

Despite the anger she let out at him, Caius' eyes widened in shock as the girl suddenly embraced him. Closing his eyes, Caius wrapped his arms around the girl before him and tightly embraced her. "I..know that Mali will never return to us, I've known that even before I joined...I just...I just wanted to make sure she was alright and find a way to end the battle...end the fighting between angels in anyway that I could...in the end that only made things worse" Caius said with a sigh.

Opening his eyes slightly, Caius smiled softly as he held the girl in his arms "Cal...your the strongest person I know, your the one person I fear...and...the one person I love" Caius said tightening his embrace on the girl careful not to suffocate the girl. "From now on, if we do something, we do it together...I've kept so much a secret...but no more" Caius said.

As she conversed with the her former host, a knocking sounded on the door. Her slowly growing smile instantly disappeared, and she reluctantly got out of her bed to answer the door. She was greeted by an oddly familiar face. One that she couldn't immediately place. The angel stared at him through messy locks of brown hair before finally saying something. "You look familiar," she started. "I know I've seen you before, but not around here. Where have I seen you befo-"

"Isn't that Henrik ? One of the people in our group ?" The voice rang in her head.

"Ahhh... You're one of the Fallen from our little group." Her head tilted to the side as she kept inspecting his face. "Yes, one of the people in our group... Why are you here?"

"Maybe he's here to save us ?"

"You're not with the others, are you?" The angel asked bluntly. "If you had, there would've been a lot more commotion out here."

"Azazel, what are you saying ?"

"What do you want?" She straightened out her posture, wings tucked neatly behind her back. Not even a slight smile graced her lips as she spoke to the man standing before her.

"No. I'm not with the others. I broke off from the group and hitched a ride here. I've been around for three days now getting to know my kids."

She doesn't trust us because we're down here. Araquiel commented in an annoyed tone.

Shut it. That's why I'm telling her this. Henrik eyed the angel, curious about her transformation. He hated to think that such a thing was possible. It would be nightmarish if the same had happened with him and Araquiel. "I was here to ask if you needed a ride out of Hell. This place is too stuffy for my tastes."

"The others are alive, things are getting worse, and we need to get moving."

When he asked her if she wanted to get out of Hell, she looked at him in wide-eyed shock before going into uncontrollable laughter.

"Azazel, what's wrong ? Why are you laughing ?"

"Oh man, I haven't had a laugh like that ever since I got dragged down here..." The angel wiped a tear from her eye as she finally calmed down enough to talk. "Well, I'm laughing because he came here three days ago, and he didn't do anything !" A few more breathy laughs escaped her before she spoke again. "So you waited 'til Joslyn was dead to finally get me out of here?" Azazel asked mockingly. "I guess I can hitch a ride with you."

"You don't have to say it like that... "

"Oh," she started, the smile that was on her face disappearing completely. "And if you're messing with me, you're gonna pay. Dearly. "

Richard had been rather out of it for the past few days. One second he was fighting with the angel of death, Alistair, and the next he was out. He had next to no idea what had actually happened and wasn't gaining any helpful insight from Maalik, who made himself scarce these days. Granted, he was currently out of it and had no bearing on time whatsoever. Having yet to open his eyes, he didn't even really know what time of day it was. What he did know, was that there was something poking his face. This was annoying. Slowly opening his eyes he saw that Sam was poking him with a blood stained rebar. Sanitary. Raising his hand and pushing the metal piece away from his face, Richard pulled himself up and looked at Sam. "Was there something you needed?"

Now that Richard was finally up, they could finally get somewhere. "Yeah, I need your help. We need to go to Hell and get my kid and that Azazel chick." He told him as he helped him up. "Opening up a portal to Hell would normally take a lot out of me, but with you, it shouldn't take too much."

"He'll also be helpful in getting other people out, and watching our backs should something come up."

"Hopefully, we shouldn't run into something too jacked up down there. But, we'll see." There were a number of things that could happen when they went there. Worst case scenario, Lu and Alistair show up and fight them. Best case would be that they find the kid and the girl immediately after getting there. He was really hoping for scenario two. Really hoping. "When you're ready, we'll head out."

"I don't see why it's funny. I didn't know what was going on with you until it was too late." Henrik sighed. "Even if I did, I would not have done anything about it. I'm not stupid enough to stand against Lucifer alone."

He rolled his eyes at Azazel's threat and motioned for the angel to follow after him. "Come on. All this talk is just wasting time." Henrik started to head back to the nephilim room without another word feeling that the children would have begun to grow impatient by now. Or worse, attempt leaving without them. Henrik took another glance back at Azazel. It was strange seeing her in place of Jos. He made no attempt to hide the fact that his children were the only reason he was there nor that he would have been fine with leaving her here but he did feel sorry for the girl. She never asked for this just as the nephilim never asked to be dragged down here in the first place.

Richard was listening to Sam speak and simply nodded. A rescue operation? Well at least it was something to do that wasn't nothing. After everything that had happened, Richard didn't entirely feel like just letting things happen without any say in them. For the most part, Richard didn't really didn't need to do any prep work in order to get ready to go with Sam, but he did remember that he still had the blades on him. Grabbing them out of his pocket, he created mist that grabbed the wands and whisked them away to their appropriate wielder. With that done Richard turned back to Sam and said,
"wait, I need to check if I left the sink running...But seriously I'm ready." Richard wasn't one to normally joke around, and wasn't entirely sure why he did, but regardless he was ready to go. He wasn't entirely sure how they'd deal with the fact that Richard didn't actually know how to speak any other language other than his native one, but this would hopefully solve itself out when they got to hell.

The embrace was comforting and Cal was afraid it would end soon. She didn't want it too. "Cal...you're the strongest person I know, you're the one person I fear...and...the one person I love."

Caius tightened the embrace and Cal stopped breathing. She had never actually expected him to say that. Her red eyes widened in his chest. What was she supposed to do? She didn't want to hurt Caius or Soren, but they had both made their feelings clear. There was no one for her to talk to either. Anna would have a biased opinion given that Soren was her brother and Mali was ... well Mali wasn't here right now. Would this be something that a normal teenager spent talking about with their parent? Soren and Anna were lucky.

"From now on, if we do something, we do it together...I've kept so much a secret...but no more." he told her.

Cal gave Caius a squeeze before pulling away from him. She looked up at him with determined eyes and nodded. "No more secrets. And if we're doing things together, then it's time you come back with me because we're finally leaving." Cal grabbed him by the hand, dragging Caius back to the room before it was time to go.

Hana watched as Sam walked away to get Richard. She nodded to herself. There was work to be done. She needed to get the others woken up and moved somewhere to stay. Given their track record with hotels, she was thinking of finding a spot out of the city for them to set up camp. Hana stumbled over the rubble and onto the grass. Sam and Richard would need a way to find everyone when they got back -- if they got back. Last she checked, Sal had the compass. She walked over to his unconscious body and pursed her lips. Where was he keeping it?

Hana pulled at the collar of his shirt, but it didn't seem to be around his neck. Her blue eyes ran over his body and noticed a round bulge in his pocket. She surmised that it was most likely the compass and rummaged through his pocket to pull it out. Hana gave Sal a nudge with her foot and pulled the compass to her chest. Salvatore wake up.

She walked away from him to catch Sam and Richard before they left. Here, she offered the compass up to them. Nobody will be here when you get back so you'll need the compass in order to regroup. Be safe. Hana walked away from them without another word to go and wake everyone else up. It was time they moved. Leviathan was free so they likely wouldn't have to deal with all the demons coming back, but that didn't mean one or two wouldn't pop up to attack them anyway. They were attempting to stop the destruction of mankind after all.

Before they got on their way to the Palace in Hell, Hana came over to them with something in hand. Here, she offered the compass up to them. Nobody will be here when you get back so you'll need the compass in order to regroup. Be safe. Hana walked away from them without another word to go and wake everyone else up.

"Right then. Let's get a move on." He said as he grabbed onto the other man. Mist swirled at their feet before rising up and consuming them.

The moment the mist cleared, they were in his room in the Palace. "Alright, we're here. We'd better get a move on. I'd rather not stay here longer than we need to." He opened the door and checked to see if the coast was clear. After making sure it was, he motioned for Richard to follow him, walking about the halls as carefully as he could.

"We should check in the room where the Nephilim stay. It's likely our son will be in there. " The fallen angel chimed in. Remembering the time he had spent wandering around these halls, he made his way to the Nephilim's room. He barged in and saw all of the nephilim gathered in there, with his son in one of their arms.

"Oh, Abaddon." A voice came from behind him. He turned around to see who it was and was met by a petite, brunette woman with wings on her back. "Or should I call you Sam?" She asked as she fiddled with a stray lock of her hair.

    "Who're you-"

"Azazel... " The angel interrupted him before he could finish.

"What?! You're Azazel? What happened to the tiny, little white haired girl?" He asked in a flustered manner.

The brown haired woman stopped twirling her hair and stared at him. "She..."

"To save time, that girl is no longer with us. She's gone. But we can't waste time here, explaining that would take up too much time and I'd rather not have you stay here longer than need be. " He had the right idea. They should get out of there quick.

    "Right... "

Sitting around was just a pain in the ass really, but it was something necessary he needed to do. Despite this he couldn't sit still, his mind was still focused on a certain girl and it motivated him to get out of bed. "I'mma be back in a sec" Alistair said towards Temeluchas before rising out of bed and headed out. Out of the bedroom he began to walk on before two individuals caught his attention. "oh? hey! Cal!" Alistair called out tot the girl with a smile as he ran up to the two.

Walking along with Cal in hand, the sudden incoming Alistair caught his attention. Glancing over at Alistair and over at Cal, Caius scratched the back of his head and smiled as he let out an awkward chuckle "I'll head off on my own" Caius said releasing her hand before he ran off towards the nephilim room, leaving the two alone.

Cal waved goodbye and turned back to face the man in front of her. It felt like a really long time since she had last seen Alistair. "Hi," she greeted him sheepishly.

With his bright and usual smile upon his face, Alistair placed both hands on her shoulders and grinned happily "Man, each time I see you it feels as if you've grown so much...even so every time I look at you I just can help but see the cute little girl I used to carry around on my shoulders" Alistair said

Cal blushed and brushed her hand over her face to hide her embarrassment. "You didn't used to do that."

"Course I did! albeit once...but I did!" Alistair said laughing a bit at her embarrassment. "So how have you been fairing? good I hope" Alistair said with some concern in his voice as his smile softened

Her face fell at his question and her red eyes looked distant. "It's been ... it's been hard here."

"...I'm sorry kiddo" Alistair said letting go of her shoulders and pulled her in for an embrace "I know thing must be rough, but no matter how tough I want you to stay strong alright? If you need anything from me don't hesitate to ask" Alistair said

Her arms hung limp at her sides as Alistair held her. She wanted to take comfort in his words but it was hard. "How am I supposed to ask for help if you're not around?"

"Yeah...its unreasonable for me to say that...but...I just want you to give it some time" Alistair said releasing her from his embrace as he held her arms and stared at her face. "I swear...I'll make sure you have a bright future..." Alistair said

Her eyes were glossy as she met his gaze. "How, when you're working with Lu? I don't see how it will be bright."

"Lu will fail..." Alistair said calmly as he closed his eyes. "She may be listening...but this is what I truly believe...I will admit I care for the woman...but above her...you're more precious to me..." Alistair said

Her eyes brightened slightly and she raised her hands so that they were also locked on Alistair's arms. "You really mean that? Because ... everyone else has family here, except me. And ... it's really hard to watch them all, even if they don't get along with their family. They all have parents."

Alistair smiled as he opened his eyes and stared down at her eyes "I know its tough, but let me tell you one thing, you're like a daughter to me and...no...from now on I'm adopting you...If you want me to, I'll be your father" Alistair sad

She broke her arms free of his grasp and threw herself into his chest. This made her even more happy, truly happy. The box in her hand fell to the ground when she did so and her brows furrowed at the realization that it was on the ground. Cal pulled away and bent down to pick it up, checking to make sure it hadn't been damaged. "Caius gave me this," she told him, "but I haven't been able to bring myself to opening it."

Alistair raised an eyebrow as he stared up at the box "hmm kind of looks beaten up...you should open it! surely the curiosity must be overwhelming" Alistair said taking interest in the box

Her cheeks burned red as he mentioned how beat up it was. She had been doing a poor job at keeping it protected. It was likely the contents inside were already damaged. Cal nodded shortly began to undo the packaging. She hadn't been all that curious about it before, but now anticipation was eating away at her.

Inside the packaging was a big crystalized rose made up from the most beautiful materials Caius could find and along side it were a smaller pair of roses attached to some hair pins. Taking notice of it, Alistair let out a low whistle "gotta hand it to Caius...he's pretty good with those hands of his" Alistair said

As she stared down at the contents of the box, tears welled up in the corners of her eyes and began to spill over. Everything they were doing for her was too much. The gift was beautiful. She smiled sadly and set the box down so that she could fix the pins into her hair before picking it back up again. "They care about me a lot," she admitted, "and I don't want to hurt anyone."

"Hey hey hey, whoa there" Alistair said bringing his hand up to her face and began to wipe the tears from her eyes "Something obviously is telling me somethings up, now c'mon, tell me whats up" Alistair said

She let him wipe away her tears and she choked back another wave of them. "They both like me -- Soren and Caius. Really like me, Caius even said he loved me. I just ... I don't know what to do. I don't want to hurt anyone. I like them both for different reasons ..."

"Ah, my dear unfortunately thats a struggle that only you must deal with. I've no true experience when it comes to romance, but let me tell you something, in the end you must choose between the two, choose the one that your love truly desires. It will hurt the rejected, but if he truly loves you then he will accept and respect your choice, he will accept your happiness....and anything against this is nothing but selfishness..." Alistair said. He really didn't know what he said, but he tried to at least help as much as he could...even if it was crappy.

    "That really sucks."

Alistair closed his eyes and began to laugh as he wraped one arm around her "I know right? Love sucks in general, I guess thats why I never tried anything romantic" Alistair said with a grin trying to lighten the mood

She smiled up at him and nodded her head uncertainly. "Thanks I guess." Cal wiped away the last of the tears on her sleeve and glanced back down the hall. "I should probably get back. I think everyone's going to be waiting on me."

"Alright then you run off now Miss.Grey" Alistair said walking up to her and kissed her forehead "Take care...I'll see you later"

Her cheeks flushed again as he kissed her forehead and called her Grey. Cal cleared her throat and gave him a half wave. "Later," she replied before hurrying down the hall.

Brandon had woken up after being launched far and away from the church in one move that he didn't quite get what had happened and probably never would how everything just sort of blew up in a matter of seconds despite seemingly nothing happening at all. Well, at least all of the demons seemed to clear out, but now there wasn't any sort of fodder for the newbies to gain exp off of. Yes, after being knocked out for three days this is the first thing that runs through his head. Regardless, eventually they had found out that they were supposed to go on some grand quest to find...something that Brandon didn't quite understand, but what he did understand was that they were to go and help the new recruits get to a good level of strength. So with that, the entire gang, who wasn't going with Xana to do secret covert operation things or whatever she was going to do, went to the nearest city to go seek refuge and training spots and stuff. With that, Brandon fell asleep and Sal went with Hana to do whatever as well.

Azazel and Henrik arrived before Cal did which started to worry Soren. He would have gone after her but two other angels arrived as well. He didn't agree to taking them as well. Immediately Soren stepped in front of his sister as one of them looked her way.

    "Relax. That's the kid's father."

Soren did not relax. "What? You want me to drag them out of here too?" He didn't want to take the newcomers anywhere as he hoped Henrik would tell the angels to back off and leave.

"Well at least even if I did forget to bring your son along for the ride you would have come down here to get him yourself. Too bad we were just leaving." Henrik mused before gesturing towards Soren and then Anna. "That's my son Soren and my daughter Anna. You should thank her for holding onto your kid. And me for going after him while everyone else was knocked out."

Soren rolled his eyes with all the talk that was going on. He didn't care what the angels had to say. It seemed that the newcomers managed to portal down on their own. Only one of the two seemed to have the ability which amused Soren. Did they really need two people to be able to get down there?

Caius walked in. Soren stared at the door, waiting for Cal to follow after him but she didn't come. He trusted Caius enough not to leave Cal somewhere dangerous but he still had to make sure nothing had happened. Just as he started to head towards the door Cal came rushing in. He decided he would ask her what had happened later. As soon as they were out of there.

"Ready?" Henrik asked Soren, apparently having finished speaking with the other angels. Soren took the mirror shard from hs pocket to check on those who were at the church ruins. They had moved to some town in the time everyone else had been talking.

"Um. Yeah. The others moved to a town. It's probably close by where they were before. I can get us there." Not that he wanted to travel with more angels but if it was what his sister and the others wanted he could hardly force his wants above everyone else's. Soren watched as Anna gave the baby back to its father.

With everyone set to go, Soren gathered with the nephilim and Henrik ...and anyone else who wanted him to take them back. He had just met these new people so he was not going to allow them to make the call when it came to portaling out of there. And then...

They were breathing fresh air once more. Soren rubbed his temples to shake off the faint dizziness he was feeling. It was a far smoother trip this time around. With him both being much stronger and more experienced than the last time it ought to be. This time, they were finally free. No one would be dragging them back now. Though, looking around at the town they were in, Soren felt far from comfortable being there.

After careful consideration, Hana left Brandon in charge of the group. He seemed eager enough. Plus, Vincent was busy tending to Leon, and Kai looked like he might have a stroke if he had to be in charge of anyone other than himself. When Sal was up, she told him that he was to stay behind. She gave Brandon a sizable wad of cash to deal with everyone's expenditures and decided they should take one other person with them. The new girl, Tiia, volunteered. Hana thought of it as a good idea. With her connects to Father, it might bring them a little extra luck. They could always do for a little extra luck.

They watched as the others left them behind. She had no idea where they were to go next and following everyone else would just deter them. Their best bet would be to catch up on the latest news. If there was any reports of destruction over the last few days, especially in the area, they would know exactly where to go. The three of them just needed some clues. There was no longer a strong sense of power here, so the odds of him being close by were slim to none.

Hana decided that after the time they had, they could use some rest. They would be in no shape to face Leviathan in their current state. She was still cut and bloody everywhere and the other two looked rather worse for wear as well. They would start in the morning, but find some place close by, just to be safe. It wasn't a long walk as the area was heavily populated. They got two rooms at a small hotel near the recently destroyed church to rest in for the night. While there, she spoke to the receptionist, asking if anything had happened over the last few days. The woman looked confused and just shook her head. With a heavy sigh, Hana headed to the room she was going to be sharing with Tiia. She stopped in the gift shop to grab something clean to sleep in for the night and did the same for the other two. They could get fresh clothes in the morning while investigating.

She handed out the tourist sleepwear before heading off to shower. Luria was taken to the bathroom with her as she started to heal herself. Thoughts of Reuben, Joslyn, and Azazel crossed her mind as she got cleaned up. They would be okay. She had to trust that they would be fine. It was the only way that she could keep going. Hana left the bathroom cleaned and changed before getting into bed for the night. Tomorrow would be a long day.

After about a few seconds of reaching hell, they had found Azazel, the actual angel rather than just the person who was hosting her. Well, this was probably a sign of bad things to come. Regardless, they had found her and that was about half the mission done. Henrik was there as well. Apparently he had found his way in hell, probably where the portal he decided to leap through mid battle lead to. And they had Sam's son. Wow, easiest mission ever. As it turns out, Soren, the male nephilim, was perfectly capable of making his own hellfire portals and was about to leave anyway. Well that could've gotten awkward if they all left and then there was no one down for Richard and Sam to actually find. Regardless, Soren started making his own portal, and whether he was aware and liked it or not, Richard ended up helping him because for all of his experience, that Richard was to just assume he had, he was still transporting ten people from hell to earth, which was no simple task, so yeah.

With them now in this town, which by the way Richard had no idea why Soren actually knew where they were supposed to be or how Henrik knew they were all passed out, Richard simply followed the compass that Sam had been given until they finally rendezvoused with the rest of the group and then Richard fell asleep there.
