DAY: 79 - 1/4 | DATE: December 10th, 2013 [Tuesday] | LOCATION: Church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
After waking up and remembering that his son was in the church, he went to go check up on him. The sight he was confronted with caused both fury and terror to course through him. His son wasn't there. He rushed to the exit and found everyone outside, with a little girl holding his son and a bitch with familiar bandages standing behind her.

Bright crimson flames engulfed his torso as he took heavy-footed steps to the outside. "What are you all doing out here?" He spoke with a quiet fury. His head turned to look at the little bitch holding his son. "Actually, the better question is: What are you doing with the kid?"

Cal was stopped by the presence of Soren. He came running after her. It was sweet and annoying at the same time. "What do you want me to do then?" he asked her abruptly, "Not bring them back? Just say the word and I won't leave you, but Caius and Mali are in trouble." Soren stepped in front of Cal and held her arms. "I don't want you getting hurt if something happens to them. I also don't want you hating me if I didn't do something about it when I could..." He stared at her and stepped closer. Cal leaned back away from his piercing gaze. "I'm not abandoning you." It felt like that. It felt like everyone was abandoning them. Plus, how many times did she have to tell them that it wasn't his responsibility to take of all of them? "Would you rather just leave? You. Anna. Me. I can't be everywhere at once. I don't know what's going to happen to Caius or Mali but I can stay with you and Anna. I don't want to leave you."

She lifted her hands and locked them around his wrists that were holding her arms. Cal shook her head back and forth and attempted to back away. "No Soren. I don't want you to do anything. You aren't responsible for us, any of us. I want you to do what's best for you. It isn't your duty to protect us all. You shouldn't have to go running off on your own in an attempt to protect Caius and Mali, neither should you have to run away with Anna and I. We're all capable of taking care of ourselves, even if you don't believe it. So, just do whatever. You know that deep down, all you want to do is go out there and fight them. It's not all about Caius and Mali. They made their choices. You're just using them as an excuse for yours."

"Using children as your tools, Lu? Just when I thought you couldn't sink any lower. It's about time you died, Lu." Henrik tightened his grip on his weapon and she just rolled her eyes.

"Oh you know me, I like to utilize every asset. Plus, little Caius here isn't just a Nephilim. He's truly something special." She rested her other hand on his shoulder and gave him a firm squeeze. She smiled at the other Fallen, not even bothering to try and defend herself. Sure, Henrik wanted her dead and Ariel clearly had killer intent written all over his face as well; but they were nothing to worry about. Her golden eye caught the sight of another figure joining the crowd looking angrier than ever. Lu's grin turned salacious as Sam came to a stop.

Bright crimson flames engulfed his torso as he took heavy-footed steps towards them. "What are you all doing out here?" He spoke with a quiet fury. His head turned to look at Mali and it dawned on her instantly. "Actually, the better question is: What are you doing with the kid?"

"Well now, isn't this quite the twist. I guess that answers the question as to whom the child belongs to. I never would have thought you had it in you Abaddon." She gave Sam a wink and looked around past everyone else. "Huh... Is Xathanael still gone then? Too bad. I would have liked to see the look on her face as I whisked away her first born."

There was a pull at her back and she became frozen in place. Lu's eyes widened, but she did not show surprise. "I wouldn't want to disappoint you Temeluchas. As for my son, it might be in your best interest to have that abomination hand him back over to his father."

"Funny how you do not refer to your own Nephilim child as such, abomination." Just because Xathanael was using her pathetic shadow manipulation, didn't mean she was out of tricks. She couldn't see the woman behind her, but that was probably for the best.

"Well unlike Reuben, that girl reeks of your powers and the boy is radiating demonic energy. I don't know what you've done to them, but it's nothing that makes them any less of an abomination."

All the way back from hell they had finally returned back to mid world and non too sooner they were already off for another battle. This battle was not going to be like the others however, it seemed today things really were getting heated up. Temeluchas had already gone ahead and dealt with the angels ahead, but there was nothing he could do except follow the girl.

Mali was free and Caius was there standing near stoic like, but something caught his attention. Sure Alistair was immensely relieved to see Mali unharmed and out of the building, but the child in Mali's arms was what really caught his attention. He knew this was no mere child but another nephilim brought forth to the world.

He really did not wish to involve the child in all this, but in his position he really couldn't do anything about it. The angels would gather and this place in front of Leviathan's prison will be the battlefield. There was nothing he needed to say, he merely rubbed his temples with a sigh as he walked up to the group and stopped before them crossing his arms calmly. Caius who had not said a word took a step back and stood beside Alistair. If there was anybody that Alistair worked the best with it was Regulus and as much as Caius loathed it, the boy held his father's powers as well. Caius was trained by Alistair so the duo was that of teacher and student.

Soren frowned as Cal spoke, her words giving him a painful sting. He wanted to tell her she was wrong, that he was going to fight for Mali and Caius but that would only be partially true. A powerful sense of hatred had not died down within him. He hated the angels for bringing them here and for tormenting them. They needed to be punished. Soren stared at Cal's hands, pulling away from her grasp.

"You're half right. I still want to make them pay for everything that's happened. But..." He didn't want to argue. He knew he would lose. "They push. I want to push back harder. They take away our own. I try to run after them. I guess...it'd probably end with everyone dead and you being alone. I'm sorry. That's not what I want to happen."

"Fine... Do you know what I want?" Soren paused for a good while as he thought of what he could say. "I want to stay with you. I want--well, I can't think of any words that describe what I want right now." Soren frowned as he tried to find the right word for it but it escaped his grasp. Words like that were not ones he had ever thought to commit to memory so instead of wasting further time trying to tell Cal what he wanted, he decided to show her instead. Soren leaned closer to kiss Cal.

"Don't talk about the nephilim that way." Henrik glared over at Hana who had just arrived. With what Lu did to him before his children were born, he was sure that they would be in the same category as what Hana would call "abominations". "Would you call my own the same if it were them who were here instead of these kids?" Whatever the case was, he refused to fight the nephilim. They were children and this wasn't their fight. They were dragged into this by angels. If anything, the fallen were the abominations and the nephilim their victims. As angry as Henrik was he knew that they he couldn't waste time arguing about it. Saying nothing more to Hana he turned his attention back towards Lu.

"Keep the nephilim out of this, Lu. You can't be so afraid of us that you need to hide behind children." They outnumbered her a great deal but that hardly mattered. Lu would never admit to them being a real threat in any number. "We're ready when you are."

"You're half right." Soren admitted, "I still want to make them pay for everything that's happened. But..." he paused, "They push. I want to push back harder. They take away our own. I try to run after them. I guess...it'd probably end with everyone dead and you being alone. I'm sorry. That's not what I want to happen."

Cal shook her head. Her hands dropped from his arms and she looked away.

"Fine... Do you know what I want?"

"No," she muttered mostly to herself.

Soren paused for a good while. "I want to stay with you. I want--well, I can't think of any words that describe what I want right now." Soren frowned. Cal looked back at him as he tried to come up with the right thing to say. He didn't know how to talk at all. He was hopeless that way. Having given up on words, he leaned in closer to her, clearly aiming for a kiss instead.

Cal broke free of his grip and put her hands up to his chest to stop him. "Soren don't." she declared miserably. As much as she may like to kiss him, she just really wasn't feeling it right now. Kissing anyone was the last thing on her mind. "Not right now. There's something I need to do. So you should go do what you feel you need to do as well, not what you think is expected of you; but what you feel you need to do." She turned away from him and walked further down the hall.

Everything was far too exciting as many things had begun all in one day. Regulus was far too interested in it all, watching the battle of midworld to the events in hell. Temeluchas had stirred up quite the commotion and even in hell she had managed to make a commotion for the nephilim as well. They were all breaking and with everything going soon minds would shatter.

As he stepped out and walked around the halls and stopped upon hearing footsteps. The child named Cal, the one that Caius had loved so much, she was there ahead of him all alone. Opposed to Caius the girl did interest him, but he never really did much about her. He never did understand why Alistair petted her so much.

"So even you are breaking...even the most sane one has to have a breaking point as some point...such a shame" Regulus said calmly making his presence known as he walked up to the girl and crossed his arms. She was the one that held them all together, she was the one that had soften the immense hatred Soren had a tad and had been able soothe Caius and his state.

    WEARING DAY 79 2/4 WRITING
LOCATION Church Rio de Janiero, Brazil

Kai looked back at the others that were still a ways away from the church. Hana had instructed them to stay back when she approached. She had said to was to buy them time and help distract so that they could get all the new recruits into the building safely, but the angel looked pretty angry. He had a good feeling it was about more than causing a distraction. It was up to him, Logan, Sal, and Vincent to get the others to the sanctuary; find their weapons, and find someone to catch them up. He wasn't really a fan of the idea considering there were demons everywhere and he had never even held his wand before. Every time he thought of taking it out of the box, it terrified him more. Kai clutched his backpack close to his body and looked over to Sal. He had pretty much taken charge of the recruiting. Kai felt remotely more confident that he was with them.

He cleared his throat, which was pretty pointless since sound never came from his throat. He grimaced and pointed to the backside of the church. They would probably have better luck going in through the abbey and taking the tunnel to the sanctuary than actually heading for the doors that everyone was standing in front of. We should probably go that way.

    Whoa!

Kai turned to look at the little Asian girl they had just picked up before heading back to Brazil.

How did you do that? You didn't open your mouth or anything and it was like the sound was in my head. Her green eyes were wide as they studied him.

He shook his head and rolled his eyes before turning back to face the church. Kai wasn't in the mood to explain his weird communication thing right now. He'd rather not get killed. That was kind of at the front of his thoughts. He started walking, sticking towards the front -- though he would be of little help if they were attacked.

Vincent came up to the girl and placed his hand on her shoulder. Considering the circumstances, right now isn't the time to be questioning things. Let's just follow him, alright? He put on a smile and led her towards the doors of the church.

Cal kept her head down as she walked. She really hoped Soren wouldn't follow after her this time, but knowing him, he might. When she heard footsteps, she thought for sure it was him. That is, until she realized they were coming from in front of her rather than behind. Cal lifted her head to see a rather unpleasant face -- er, mask. "So even you are breaking..."

    She glared up at him.

"Even the most sane one has to have a breaking point as some point...such a shame." Regulus stopped in front of her with his arms crossed.

Cal pursed her lips and crossed her arms as well. Red eyes glared deeply into the holes of the mask. "I'm not breaking, I just have things to do. So if you don't mind getting out of my way," she snapped at him. Cal hated this man. He had never done anything good for his son. Caius hurt so badly because of this person right here. It wasn't fair. All he wanted was approval and this man wouldn't give it to him, even after condemning him to his experiments.

Her words held hatred and this amused him a good deal. Closing his eyes he he began to let out a chuckle as he placed his hand over his mask covered face and shook his head "yes yes, whatever you say" Regulus said gripping the mask on his face as he pulled it off. A face all too similar to Caius stared down at her, and though it held a smile, it still held it's cold self.

"I am quite interested in what a little girl like you could possibly do" Regulus said taking a step forward towards her and closed his eyes. "Cal is strong, Cal is the one I admire the most....such drivel that would come out of Caius' mouth...even now, when that image of you has been sullied by that succubus and his mind is left in confusion, his affection for you is so resolute" Regulus said.

"Love is such a pitiful thing wouldn't you say?" Regulus said opening his eyes as he stared down at her. "Without it surely this pain you are feeling would have been nonexistent" Regulus said as a smirk rose against his face "it is a false thing that though has kept Caius' mind sane....will eventually crush him in the end" Regulus said

"But she said she could take care of herself. Same goes for the others." Soren responded to his sister. He had intended to follow after Cal but hesitated. That was when his sister came walking by, apparently having heard some of what the two had been speaking about.

"So? It's not like you to listen to anyone. Besides, just because she's not helpless doesn't mean you should leave her to wander about when there's still dangerous things around."

"I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have a problem killing stray demons."

"There's still angels around here. Like Regulus. Remember him?"

Soren nodded slowly and crossed his arms as he stood silent. There was so much he wanted and so little he could do about it. Maybe the only thing he could do was make an escape with his sister and Cal regardless of the details of what else he wanted and Cal's reluctance. "What do you think I should do? What do you want?"

"I want to leave...You know that." Anna sighed and crossed her arms in the same manner as her brother. "Go after Cal. Just don't make me watch you do that again."

"I-I don't know what you're talking about. Besides, she said-"

"Uh-huh. Go on. It's better if you did something that wasn't brooding. The more you think, the harder everything gets." She watched as Soren looked off to where Cal went then back at her, still hesitant. "I'll be fine. Go, rush in headfirst like you always do."

He hated to admit it but his sister was right. He had been thinking too hard about everything. It was about time he got something done. Soren ran off after Cal and in seconds he caught up with her. He had expected her to be farther along but the reason why she had been so easy to find was clear. Regulus was speaking to her. He didn't really catch what the man had said but it was clear he was up to no good. He stepped forward just a few inches behind Cal.

"Did you come all this way looking for a fight?"

Well this was certainly an unexpected day. After Sal had had his conversation with Richard over the phone, one that he didn't actually own, the recruits and recruiters were all packed and ready to get going. As they traveled, they eventually made their way back to the whole church area, only for Hana to stop them all. She apparently wanted to go ahead and assist the others while Sal, Vincent, Kai, and Logan were tasked with helping the newbies get to sanctuary. She seemed dead set on doing this, so Sal had no objections to the determination in this woman. It was then that Min, Remiel's host, let out an exclamation of surprise as she heard Kai "speak." After Vincent told them to get going Sal nodded saying, "it isn't too much longer from here, the only problem might be the small amount of demons we'll encounter."

Continuing to walk forward and helping pick off any strays that wandered towards them, eventually it was just a straight shot to the door and so they all booked it. Sal kept to the back to make sure nothing dangerous came out after them, and when everyone was safely inside, he was greeted by Brandon, who seemed to be standing guard here. "El!" Well he hadn't changed at all in the past five days...not surprising. "You and the guys made it back!" He continued looking at them until his expression went to extreme joy at the sudden realization. "Woo! You got new crew mates too! Right on!"

Sal sighed a bit with a grin on his face. He then looked up and said, "now I'd love to chat about all that's happened but there's a large confrontation going on outside and in the event that things get dicey, and just because it's nice to have, we need the angel's swords. So where are they?"

Brandon looked at him for a bit, and looked like he was trying to recall something. He then snapped his fingers and said, "oh right. Wealthard took him to give to you guys outside when you got back...guess that didn't work out." Well...that was great.

Regulus pulled off his mask with one hand and Cal took a step back. She had never seen him without his mask on. She stepped back in surprise. As much as she feigned confidence, Regulus's presence always left Cal a bit unnerved. "I am quite interested in what a little girl like you could possibly do." said Regulus, taking a step towards her and shutting his eyes. Cal took another step back. She wondered what Mali would say to him in this instance. She'd probably call him a pervert or something and kick the guy in the shin. Yeah, that sounds about right.

Cal's arms fell to her side and she took another step back, chewing on her bottom lip.

"'Cal is strong, Cal is the one I admire the most....' -- such drivel that would come out of Caius' mouth... Even now, when that image of you has been sullied by that succubus and his mind is left in confusion, his affection for you is so resolute."

She inhaled sharply at his words. Manitos really had gone to see him. Cal had hoped that wasn't the case. It explained the weirdness about him after she discovered him alone in the classroom. She didn't want to believe anything this man had to say, but she knew it the truth. Cal could see how Caius felt. It was the whole reason that woman made such a proposition. She swallowed down the quick forming lump in her throat, but it only seemed to migrate to her chest instead. Cal could barely breathe as she met the man's gaze.

"Love is such a pitiful thing wouldn't you say?" Regulus said, opening his eyes as he stared down at her. "Without it, surely this pain you are feeling would have been nonexistent." A smirk rose against his face and Cal fought back tears. "it is a false thing that though has kept Caius' mind sane....will eventually crush him in the end."

She shook her head, a few stray droplets breaking free. "No. You don't know that." Her chest ached. "You don't know what will and will not crush him. Caius is strong. Even with how you reject him, he still fights to one day earn your approval. It's not fair and I wouldn't wish for this pain to go away because I care about him and that would mean not feeling at all. I won't accept that." Cal choked back a sob, but tears leaked down her face anyway. She didn't even hear Soren's approach.

"Did you come all this way looking for a fight?"

"Soren!" she exclaimed in horror. Cal turned to face him, afraid he might have heard what they were talking about. Judging by the look on his face, he didn't. To that, she was relieved. She hurried to his side and grabbed him by the arm, pulling him back. "Let's go," she urged him. Her heart was pounding in her chest and right now she'd rather be alone, but leaving meant Soren would likely pick a fight with Regulus and that wouldn't be good. It was better if she just went back with him.

Her tears fell down her face and Regulus could only narrow his eyes as his smirk grew, but that changed once another presence made itself known. Calmly his eyes stared over at Soren and Regulus let out a scoff at his words "A fight? hardly....if anybody is here to fight it is you...you do tend to shove your way into other people's business so I guess we are alike in that regard" Regulus said turning away from them with a calm smile.

"I do know how you loath us angels and that unhealthy anger of yours has done wonders for you has it not? ...perhaps it was the many outbursts of anger you've shown only added to the broken mess that is Caius" Regulus said letting out a chuckle. "Bravo my dear boy, bravo" Regulus said clapping his hands as he began to walk away.

Lauren felt cold as she walked down a dark pathway in her dream. Everything was dark, but not dark enough where she couldn't see anything. In fact, based on how much she could see, she thought the was a moon in the sky or something. But when she looked up to see it, there was no moon. So the light was coming from an unknown source, but she knew for sure it was not stars.

She kept walking until the ended up face first with a wall. She held her nose and giggled slightly, then turned to keep walking. When she turned the corner, there was suddenly a spark, and fire appeared, revealing only the destruction of what must have been a city. Lauren stared at it and walked a bit closer before she saw a shadow in the fire and she stared at it until the silhouette soon took a more visible shape.

    "Nice entrance, mate."

There was a moment where the two stared at each other and the new figure raised an eyebrow, "You are not surprised?"
"Why, was I supposed to be?" she put on a fake scared face and yelled in a sarcastic voice, "Ah fire! Save the roo's mate. It's falling from the sky." Lauren took a step closer and spoke, "Justa casual mornin in the land down under."

The figure shook their head and snapped their fingers for the fire to die down and then responded, "Australians... I've never had an Australian before. Usually that can scare the hell out of the hosts."
"A'right mate, who are ya and whaddya want?"

The figure stepped a bit closer and spoke, "My name is Ahriman. Or Angra Mainyu... it does not matter to me."
"Ahriman? Aren't ya the angel or something."
    "Yes."
"I thought I was the angel."
    "Well... yes, you ar-"
"BUT YOU'RE THE ANGEL, MATE. HOW AM I THE ANG-"
    "I am you."

Lauren stared at him with uncertainty and spoke, "I'm not.. male."
"Dammit. Are you not ready yet?"
    "What?"
"I have refused to interact with you until you smartened up, but you seem to not have changed at all."
"Whaddya mean smarten up, ya figham."
"Figham-? Nevermind that. I mean what it sounds like. You are an idiot. I'm not even going to sugar coat it. You are just beyond dumb. How the hell are you still alive, people like you kill themselves in the dumbest of-"
    "SHUT UP!"

Lauren glared at the man and spoke, "I am not an idiot."
    "Yes, you are."
    "No I am NOT."
    "What is your wife's surname?"

Lauren opened her mouth to speak and thought about it before she turned and said, "But that doesn't mean I'm an idiot. I just have trouble remembering things like that! Don't other people, usually men, do the sa-"
    "What is your middle name?"
    "...ur."
    "Ur?"
"Yeah. Lauren. The middle is ur."
"You don't have a middle name Lauren."
"Well then why did you ask?"

Ahriman rubbed his temples and spoke, "You aren't ready. I'll just leave and let you go about your b-"
    "Wait mate."

Lauren grabbed him before he left and he quickly disappeared and reappeared behind her, "Don't touch me."
"Are you the one who causes all the magic and stuff to happen?"
    "Yes."
"So I can move rocks and anger animals?"
"Not necessarily rocks, but what do you mean by animals? Are you counting humans too?"
    "No."

Ahriman spit into the ashen remains of whatever was burned down and spoke, "There is a difference between the angel of destruction, and the destructive spirit. Mostly in preference. Abaddon likes to take care of their own business. And while I do like causing havoc on my own, it is much more enjoyable to get others to do it."
    "Whaddya mean?"
"I had you channel the destructive spirit of your Ocelot first. It was much easier that the complications of causing a human to be destructive."

Ahriman circled around Lauren and continued speaking, "You can rile up anyone. It is a natural tendency for a human to get angry. Don't believe me? Name one person you've never seen get angry."

Lauren thought about it long and hard and then answered, "I can't think of anyone."
"Now imagine taking that anger, and multiplying it by ten. Or heck. it doesn't have to be anger at all. Some people just love destroying things. Just look at little kids and sand castles on the beach. There is always that one kid who wants to knock it down."
    "I was that kinda tike."
"Well, it makes people have the urge to destroy things. But, not as much an urge. But a desire to. Almost as if they need to in order to keep living. I'm not sure how well at controlling that power you are yet. And I'm afraid that if I let you, it won't work the way it is intended."
"We could try it... couldn't we?"
    "Why would you want that?"
"Oh, I don't care. More powers are fun."

Ahriman spat again and sighed, "This could be a very dumb decision. But fine. But there are three rules to my power for right now."
    "Okay what are they?"
"One, only use it on a single person. Multiple animals are fine but not humans. Two, don't PROJECT it. Physically touch the person you wish to influence. If you project it into the atmosphere it could be dangerous."
    "A'right then, what's three?"
"NEVER use it on the host of Abaddon. What is his name, Samuel? Never use this power on Samuel."
    "Why?"
"Picture an atomic bomb bring dropped and setting off another atomic bomb."
    "I don't understand mate."
    "Do you want to die?"
    "No."
    "Then don't do it."
    "Okay okay."

Ahriman rolled his eyes and backed away, "Now that I have been irritated long enough. I shall leave now."

Lauren waved to him as he walked away and she felt herself sucked out of the dream.

Lauren woke up and immediately looked around the Ahriman. But he was not there, and he probably never would be. Lauren got up from where she was and heard noises she did not recognize. While she could just as easily go outside and help out, she decided to stay inside the building and help guard from the inside. She was not aware of what was going on outside.

Almost immediately after he had spoken up Cal tried to get him to leave, grabbing him by the arm and tugging him back but Soren held fast, glaring at Regulus. He glanced over at Cal seeing tears streaking her face. Whatever Regulus had said, it hurt her. "Mock your son all you want but in the end it's me standing here, not him. If you want to hurt us so badly, don't bother with words. Unless you're too weak to fight me."

Unlike the usual taunting tone Mali put up when she insulted or threatened others, Soren's words held no lofty air about them. They were serious and calm. Soren took in a deep breath and stared at Cal. He didn't need to get involved in a fight. There were still more important things he could do than waste his strength on Regulus. "Don't bother us again. I'd rather Caius kill you but I'll do it myself if I have to." With that said, mist began to swirl around both himself and Cal. When it vanished the two were already back at their room.

Min begrudgingly followed along without an explanation to the voice in her head. The best she could do was chalk it up to some sort of magic. At least she had some cute guy escort her in. What was his name again? Vinny or something. She shrugged mentally. Getting inside had been relatively easy, but not nearly as easy as a normal trip to church would have been. Things were definitely not normal. Min had learned all about the truth to the strange happenings on the plane ride from Singapore. As she had seen outside, her wishes had come true -- funny thing about wishes, magic always came with a price. Min had spent her entire short life hoping that otherworldly creatures existed and now she was seeing them.

    El!

Min looked up to see some white - haired teenage boy run up to them and greet Sal. At least, she thought his name was Sal. She shot a confused look to Vincent. That Kai guy was beside him and judging by the look on his face, hearing the wrong name was common. Well then ...

You and the guys made it back!

Did he expect that they wouldn't? How many people had they lost already?

Woo! You got new crew mates too! Right on! He seemed very enthusiastic.

Min's green eyes were focused on him intently. There was something inside her that stirred and she didn't understand what it was. She knew what it was like to be interested in a boy, but this was different. It was like, a part of her felt whole now. That still didn't make sense. It almost made it seem like a soul mate, but upon first inspection, she didn't harbor any sort of romantic feelings towards him. She swallowed nervously.

Sal sighed a bit with a grin on his face. He then looked up and said, now I'd love to chat about all that's happened, but there's a large confrontation going on outside and in the event that things get dicey, and just because it's nice to have, we need the angels' swords. So where are they?

The boy looked at him for a bit, and looked like he was trying to recall something. He then snapped his fingers and said, Oh right. Wealthard took them to give to you guys outside when you got back...guess that didn't work out.

Wealthard? That was an interesting name. This guy must have a slew of creative nicknames for everyone else. Their conversation was mostly in one ear and out the other. Min stepped forward and cocked a brow. She stopped directly in front of him and poked her finger into his cheek. What was this strangeness in her? Hey, she started carefully, my name is Min. Who are you? Do you feel it too? There's something right here and it only seems to be reacting to you. She pointed to her chest, eyes locked on him. Min liked knowing things and right now she was clueless.

We're just gonna pretend there's still an eloquent post here about how ahranna worked really hard to make joslyn look super beautiful and complimented her a bunch and is now bring the well-dressed girl upstairs and if hyuge is feeling up to retyping it after work, she will.

Richard hadn't seen Hana and the others coming back this early. Well that was a good surprise to say the least. Not to mention Henrik had come back to thank him and get ready to engage as well. Leon had arrived as well and same with Sam. The only plot twist that had just been thrown out there was that the nephilim child that Mali was holding, that kind of came out of nowhere, was actually Hana's...when did that happen? It was obvious who the father was, especially because he seemed ready to explode both literally and metaphorically. As Alistair and some other horned nephilim person moved into position, Mali stood there, and Temeluchas, who looked completely different from when last they met, was paralyzed by the something Hana was doing.

Richard was tired of having all of these formalities go around. He drew out his blade, El-Harriss, and ignited it. He was ready to bring all of his foes down before him to stop them from doing whatever they wanted. He had a feeling based on Temeluchas's attitude, she usually got what she wanted. He was ready to change that. And he wasn't going to wait for them to make the first move towards them. "Hello again, Temeluchas. Sorry, but this time your not going to get out of here. We are going to stop you." With that, Richard started radiating mist off of his body, essentially blanketing him, as he stepped slowly forward. He continued slowly advancing towards the dark angel until he was suddenly gone. Using the angel's ability to teleport short distances, he appeared right before the dark angel and brought his sword down on her. The mist blanketing him was to extinguish any hellfire mist that would come towards him and prevent it from making any contact with him.[DOUBLEPOST=1394657561][/DOUBLEPOST]Brandon had been rather elated to see all of his friends come back, but El didn't really seem to enjoy the fact that the blades were not on hand right now. It was then after he spoke that one of the new people, someone around his age, walked over to him and poked him right in the cheek. It was at that moment he could've sworn he heard a clap of thunder...but decided not to follow up on that at all since he was pretty sure it was nice and sunny out. The girl then introduced herself and wondered if he felt anything strange...other than her finger in his face. But apparently he was the only one reacting to this something strange...and he had no idea what that meant.

Regardless, Brandon felt that she since introduced herself, he should go out and introduce himself. "Hey there Min, my name is Brandon, angel of lightning." With that he made a small current flow through his hand to show off. However, when Brandon had said her name, a curious look came towards him from El. No idea what that was about. Going into a thinking face again he started pondering this something strange. Thinking about it further, he eventually started to feel that his lightning was trying to form on its own to try and being attracted like a magnet towards Min. Of course, Brandon kept it under control, but that was definitely strange. "Well, I'm not entirely sure about this whole "reaction" thing, but there's definitely something interesting going on. Regardless, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"you know what you need to do, the rest is up to you" Alistair said calmly unfolding his arms and gripped the sword resting upon his back as the events began to unravel before him. The child resting in Mali's hands apparently belonged to Hana (who's hair was still looking as faaaaaaaabulous as ever) and Samuel, which was quite the odd pairing. The abomination claim did not sit well with him, but he did understand how much anger the girl would have felt about her child being in danger. If anything the only one that truly felt the sting of the girl's words was Caius. Though the boy was looking calm, Alistair knew that the boy was shivering.

His stance changed once he noticed Richard heading over towards Temeluchas and immediately Alistair rushed forward. Temeluchas was in a bad position and though this could possibly be a farce, Alistair would get a good yelling for not doing anything in the battle. The slowly approaching Richard immediately vanished from sight and Alistair's grip on his sword tightened "damn it" Alistair muttered as he too vanished from sight, teleporting towards the two. Pulling his sword from his back and trusting it forward, Alistair intercepted the blade heading towards his mistress

"Heh...that may be so...but I'm sure as hell not going to make it easy...so sorry" Alistair said nonchalant while he genuinely apologized. Using his other hand, he gripped Arondight's handle with two hands and attempted to push Richard away with a slash.
