Leviathan...

That woman...does she truly believe that she can control the serpent?

Who knows...Temeluchas is quite the mystery...will her arrogance be her fall? or perhaps she might rise to something devastating...I do wish to see what path my love will take...
and so...have you decided upon the end that you desire?

no...there is still so much to look towards..even if the end is reaching towards us..

And so things begun to be set into motion as Alistair stood beside Temeluchas and calmly watched her give Mali the instructions she needed before entering the church and stirring up the madness inside. Mammon was obviously the enemy in this situation, but the fact that Temeluchas used the word "we'll" meant that Alistair wouldn't be the one merely standing around doing nothing.

He did worry for the nephilim that was sent into the church, but at the same time he held confidence in Mali and knew that there were none who really could stand in her way. For now all he really could do was wait. He really did wish to bug Temeluchas, but he knew how important this mission was and he knew that it would not be best to bother her...yet.

One word was all it really took for Alistair to piss the dark angel off. It didn't even matter what word he said, all he knew it would piss him off. Hands place in his jacket pockets, Alistair just stared forward at the church with a calm smile, saying nothing at all.

The white - haired boy seemed to take notice of her after she shouted to gain his attention. Too bad he wasn't deaf. "Hello there Miss. Sorry, but could you please leave here." he asked.

Mali shook her head. "Unfortunately for you, I cannot do that. My task lies within these walls." She stepped forward, but the boy looked on edge. He clearly didn't trust her, as to be expected. She never came off as a very trustworthy person. Not even her half - twin seemed to trust her that much. Oh well. Trust was overrated anyway.

Some old guy came walking into the sanctuary from a door in the back. She rolled her eyes. They were gaining in number, but from what she could sense, these were the only two. Mali could feel the weirdness Lu had mentioned. It was coming from where the old guy had entered. She wanted to know what was back there; hopefully something fun. He stopped beside the white - haired boy and eyed her while whispering to the kid. He was talking about her. There was no doubt about that. He didn't hide it well. "Do you know my children?" he asked her. Mali raised a blonde brow at him curiously. Children? "Soren. Anna. Those are their names. They're also nephilim. Where are they?"

"Well snap! Things just got a lot more interesting." She stepped forward. "I know them. Soren's a hothead and Anna's a pansy. I see the family resemblance. I'll have to tell them their papa isn't dead after all, once I get home that is." Mali chuckled. "I'm sure they'll love to hear all about you. Is there anything you want me to tell them? My daddy's dead. They thought they were orphans too. I'm sure they'd rather know that they were just abandoned instead." A wide grin spread on her face and she continued to inch forward, pew after pew.

"My name is Malignavérunt, or Mali. Most people call me Mali, though you don't seem to care about that. This is a nice church ya got here. I've never been in a church before. Do you think he really listens, that God guy, I mean. I don't think he does. You should hear the way my sister and the others are always praying for a way out, a way to safety. It's kind of sad really. There's nothing wrong with where we live now. They don't understand." Mali stretched her arms out above her head and arched her back. Talking was kind of a waste, but it was nice to say things to someone other than the gloomy group. They should really just embrace their home more. They wouldn't be so broken all of the time if they did. "I bet you don't understand either. Your son is a very angry teenager. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to kill you once you inevitably meet. It should be interesting."

It wasn't too shortly after that he had knocked on the door that Milo had shown up at the door to the greet them. As he suspected, the man was suspicious as to if this was the entire party. As such, Sal simply decided to explain the situation to him. "As things are right now, this is the only members of our group who are helping with the recruitment of others. As for the others, they were left back to gain more strength. As such, more than half of our group isn't actually in this country at the moment. I hope this won't be a problem for you."

LEON JUST KIND OF SAT THERE STARING MINDLESSLY AT THE HORDES OF POSSESSED PEOPLE. THIS WAS REALLY BORING AND HE WASN'T SURE WHAT THE POINT WAS ANYMORE. HE GOT THE WHOLE 'TRAINING THE NEWBIES' THING, BUT HONESTLY, THIS WASN'T MUCH OF A CHALLENGE. THEN AGAIN, HE WASN'T A NEWBIE TO THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF SAVING THE WORLD FROM EVIL. THE HUMANS ON THE OTHER HAND, WERE NOT EXPERTS AND SOME OF THEM CLEARLY SEEMED TO BE STRUGGLING.

HE SIGHED AND GLANCED OVER AT SAM BESIDE HIM. "SO," HE STARTED BOREDLY, "HOW'S THE WHOLE 'I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M A DAD, TIME TO ENTER CRISIS MODE' THING GOING? HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON THE IDEA OF WANTING ANYTHING TO DO WITH XATHANAEL, CAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE GOING TO SHATTER OR SOMETHING." LEON DUG THE TOE OF HIS SHOE INTO THE GROUND IN FRONT OF HIM AND KICKED AT THE DIRT. OCCASIONALLY HE WOULD GLANCE UP TO MAKE SURE NO ONE WAS DYING, BUT OVERALL LEFT THE TRAINEES TO THEIR OWN DEVICES. IF THINGS LOOKED PARTICULARLY HAIRY, HE WOULD SHOUT OUT A COMMAND TO THEM.

WITHOUT HAY SUN, LEON FELT ENTIRELY DEMOTIVATED. THE FIRE THAT HAD BEEN BURNING BRIGHT WITHIN HIM HAD DIMINISHED AND THERE WAS NO REASON TO TRY SO HARD. HE HAD NO ONE TO IMPRESS AND NOTHING TO PROVE NOW. IT WAS BORING AND LEFT HIM WITH A LOT OF TIME TO WALLOW IN SELF - PITY OVER HOW HE COULD HAVE DONE MORE TO PREVENT HER DEATH. HE COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW WELL XATHANAEL WAS DOING RIGHT NOW OVER THE LOSS OF AZAZEL. THAT WOULD HAD SPENT HER ENTIRE EXISTENCE PROTECTING THE ANGEL OF BEAUTY AND NOW SHE WAS JUST GONE.

LEON SECRETLY WISHED THE CIRCUMSTANCES WERE REVERSED -- AZAZEL DIED AND URIEL LIVED. THEY WOULD ALL BE A LOT BETTER OFF IF THAT WERE THE CASE. URIEL WAS A FIGHTER AND WOULD HOLD STRONG UNTIL HE COULD FIND AWAY TO HELP. AZAZEL'S HOST WAS NOT ANYTHING REMOTELY LIKE A FIGHTER AND LUCIFER HAD JUST GOTTEN WHAT HE WANTED FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. THINGS WERE NOT GOOD. "I BET SHE'S GOING OUT OF HER MIND OVER JOSLYN'S ABSENCE." HE MUTTERED.

DAY: 74 - 3/4 | DATE: December 5th, 2013 [Thursday] | LOCATION: London, England

Sam sat cross legged on the ground as he watched the newcomers training against the hordes of zombies, boredom and worry clear on his face. He hadn't been able to sleep as of late, thoughts of what might happen weighing heavily on his mind. His jaw dropped as he let loose a yawn. The bored man huffed as he rubbed the bleariness from his eyes.

"SO," The golden haired man standing next to him started. "HOW'S THE WHOLE 'I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M A DAD, TIME TO ENTER CRISIS MODE' THING GOING? HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON THE IDEA OF WANTING ANYTHING TO DO WITH XATHANAEL, CAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE GOING TO SHATTER OR SOMETHING." He dug the toe of his shoe into the ground in front of him and kicked at the dirt.

"Oh, shut it. I haven't given up on anything. It's just..." His voice trailed off. "It's just that I'm not too sure how to handle this. I've been losing sleep over this and it's getting to be annoying. The fact I host the Angel of Destruction doesn't help much either." He pulled out a pack of smokes he had gotten earlier and with a quick flick of the wrist, he popped one out. After putting it in his mouth, he lit it with a small flame from his finger and drew a sharp intake from the cigarette. Smoke billowed up from the lit tip of the cigarette as he blew out more from his mouth. "I really don't know what to do about the kid."

A drawn out silence fell between the two before conversation picked up again. "I BET SHE'S GOING OUT OF HER MIND OVER JOSLYN'S ABSENCE." That's right. Hana had been watching out for the white haired girl since before they had ever met. It must've been clawing at her to be unable to protect her. The last time someone tried to kidnap her, she successfully stopped them by shoving a blade through his shoulder. Just thinking about it made his scar hurt again.

"Right..." He said dejectedly. "Shit, I really don't know what to do about any of this." He scratched his forehead with his thumb, his cigarette cradled between two fingers. "God, this sucks..."

Richard had woken up that morning wondering if he had made the correct decision. Sure, no one else was doing anything as it stood, and Richard kind of was wondering why he proposed it in the first place, but nevertheless, he started to feel that he had taken too many of the veterans with him and had too many go on a recruitment mission. Nevertheless, they needed people who could actually talk to the other angels and convince them, and Richard wasn't positive in his own ability to create such a grand scale inter continental portal to help the new recruits train. Though, if they didn't train, then they would most likely just end up being severely underpowered when the tough actually got going. Richard picked himself up and sighed at the situation that was going on.

Richard then looked around and saw that both Leon and Sam were already awake and discussing things. As he brought himself closer towards them, he saw that the both of them were actually quite in some sort of gloomy mood. Sam was smoking and Leon more apathetic than Richard did...and that was quite the feet. Richard walked over to both, sat behind them both and said in his monotone voice,
"well, the both of you seem to be in a cheery mood today."

HE SIGHED AND GAVE SAM A SIDE GLANCE BEFORE RETURNING TO THE OTHERS THAT WERE BUSY TRAINING. "Right..." SAM SAID DEJECTEDLY, "Shit, I really don't know what to do about any of this." HE SCRATCHED HIS FOREHEAD WITH HIS THUMB, HIS CIGARETTE CRADLED BETWEEN TWO FINGERS. "God, this sucks..."

"MHMM..." LEON TUGGED AT THE CUFFS OF HIS JACKET AND LOOKED UP TO SEE RICHARD JOINING THEM. AT LEAST HE DIDN'T REQUIRE TRAINING. RICHARD HAD LEARNED TO HANDLE A SWORD LONG BEFORE ANY OF THIS STARTED -- SO HE HAD BEEN TOLD.

"Well, the both of you seem to be in a cheery mood today." HE SAID AS HE TOOK A SEAT BESIDE THEM.

LEON PUFFED OUT A BREATH OF GOLDEN FLAMES AND PURSED HIS LIPS. "IF ONLY THINGS COULD BE SIMPLE. THAT WOULD BE NICE." HE GLANCED OVER AT RICHARD AND SHOOK HIS HEAD. "YOU'RE A PRETTY GOOD TRAINER, BY THE BY. WE SHOULD PROBABLY BE GETTING THEM BACK SOON. THE CHURCH IS SAFER WITH NUMBERS. THERE'S NO TELLING WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN THERE WITH ONLY WHAT'S - HIS - FACE AND BRANDON. PLUS, WOULDN'T YOU FEEL BETTER KNOWING YOUR KID IS PROPERLY PROTECTED? ONE LESS THING TO WORRY ABOUT IF YOU ASK ME." HE CLASPED HIS HANDS TOGETHER BEHIND HIS HEAD AND LAY BACK IN THE GRASS.

Once more Henrik heard about Soren's temper this time from someone who might have known him better. He could only hope this was an exaggeration. The last thing he wanted for them was to have them become just like Araquiel. His children did not even know he and Iris were alive. ...And maybe that wasn't such a bad thing. Better that than to think he had abandoned them. If they were to find that their parents were still alive, it would be from himself or Iris, not anyone else. He had too much to make up for.

"That's a strange name, Mali. Did Lu name you?" He hated to think what kind of names Lu would have picked for Soren and Anna if she had her way. This girl had a sister, one of which who wanted to leave Hell along with his children. Mali showed no desire for leaving like the others did. Henrik hoped she was just being a stubborn kid who had not thought about the people she was with. Fighting a kid, even a nephilim, would leave a bad taste.

"If God got involved with anything here on Earth, Soren and Anna would not have been taken from me. You would be with your parents with your sister and none of this would be happening." Henrik sighed and looked down. "You know, kid, you don't have to go back to them. You don't belong in Hell. If Lu's tricked you into thinking that she cares about you, I'm sorry. You're nothing more than a tool to them."

"I understand better than you think. The point is, you were born in Hell, but that doesn't mean that's where you belong. You don't have to be like them."

As one of the few newbies who didn't have the sword that it seemed everyone else had, Allen was part of the group that headed to Britain. What he expected to be a simple trip with some apparent practice was turned into him fighting the demons that were roaming around. While they weren't zombies, he was starting to regret only getting a 50/50 chance of survival now. On the bright side, once he actually had his sword in his hands and was required to fight, Nuriel was telling him some useful things that could help him fight. Mostly it involved either using the sword in one hand and flames in the other. Or using the flames as a coating for the sword. Nuriel also said that he would be able to use the flames as a coating on his hand, but he wasn't ready to go that far with these powers right now.

After putting quite a few hours into training, Adam was finally done for the day. His arms were sore and he felt a little weak, but he was used to that feeling at this point. In fact, it just helped him to know had done a good job. Adam let Nahkosh go back into it's "sleeping" state and he left the training room.

As he opened his door to enter it, he heard a purrmeow sound as Rubbish left the room and ran down the hallway. Adam rolled his eyes at the cat and waited a minute from him to come back. When Rubbish did finally come back, Adam felt a yawn try to escape him.

Adam walked into the room sluggishly and right as he shut the door he heard an unfamiliar voice speak,
"You look worse than usual. Are you doing alright?"

Adam turned immediately to where he thought the source was, but no one was there. Adam raised an eyebrow at it, then just shook it off. He made his way over to the bureau and opened up the drawer filled with apples. He took one out and took a bite out of it then felt something tap his shoulder,
"Does it involve Azazel or are you just... stuck in a routine?"

Adam turned to face the voice and nothing was there again. Adam let out a grunt and turned fully towards the wall opposite him and spoke,
"Alright come out. Stop hiding. I won't answer your questions unless I know who you are."

"But you do know who I am."
"Then come on out, you have no need to hide if I know who you are."

Adam tightened his fist while waiting. He took another bite of his apple as a figure appeared in the room almost completely out of no where. It took a couple steps forward until the face was in full view.

"I've never seen you before."

The stranger crossed their arms at Adam and raised an eyebrow,
"Kiddo, you see me everyday. You just assume I will always look the same way."

Adam quickly coughed out the piece of apple in his mouth and stared,
"Semyaza? Excuse me-"
"Pick up that chunk of apple, were you raised in a barn?"

Adam lowered himself down and picked it up as he replied to Semyaza,
"I know you mentioned changing your appearance a while ago. But that took you like... a week."
"And what is the problem with that?"
"You changed your appearance to look like Bonnie's in a second a while ago. And it took you a week to change into a man?"

Semyaza closed their eyes in annoyance and placed his hand on Adam's head,
"Time runs differently in Hell."

Semyaza played with Adam's hair for a moment until Adam tried to swat his hand away. Instead, Semyaza disappeared. Adam rolled his eyes and whispered,
"Of course you disappear then." After a few more minutes as he finished his apple, he fed Rubbish some food and then went to bed.

The old man looked upset. Sucks to be him. "That's a strange name, Mali. Did Lu name you?"

She rolled her eyes. "She did. It's short for Malignavérunt. It means Malicious. I like it." Mali smirked. She kept one hand behind her back and mist swirled lightly at her fingertips, taking the shape of a blade.

He looked thoughtful. Boring. "If God got involved with anything here on Earth, Soren and Anna would not have been taken from me. You would be with your parents with your sister and none of this would be happening." The old man sighed and looked down. Who said anything about her wanting to be with her parents or her sister? If she wanted to be with her sister, then she would be. No one was stopping her. They were all too weak. Her parents were dead because they were weak. Cal wasn't here with her because she is too weak - minded. Only the strong deserve to fight. The rest are a waste. "You know, kid, you don't have to go back to them. You don't belong in Hell. If Lu's tricked you into thinking that she cares about you, I'm sorry. You're nothing more than a tool to them."

No fucking way! She didn't have to go back to them?? What? Why didn't someone tell her sooner?

Mali had to fight the urge to laugh. It was absolutely ridiculous. No one was forcing her and she most certainly wasn't a tool. Temeluchas really does like her because she's the only one that is strong, but she wouldn't do it just for Lu's praise. Mali enjoyed this stuff. It was more fun than to mope about pining for a world they know nothing of; for people they know nothing of. "I understand better than you think. The point is, you were born in Hell, but that doesn't mean that's where you belong. You don't have to be like them."

"Really?" she asked with mock sincerity. "I don't have to live in Hell? You really think I'm just some dumb naive tool?" Mali inched forward with teeth grit. She blew her long blonde bangs out of her face and pulled the knife forward. "It's so nice of you to take the time to tell me that. I'm sure Soren and Anna would love to hear your glorious words of wisdom. You should tell them how sorry you are. I could take you to them. They might even be happy to see you." She shrugged. Mali twirled the knife in her hand casually. It was just there in the event that they decided to start something.

While disappointing that Sal was the only one to speak up, him saying that there were more of them did give some hope to the little "save the world" mission they had going on. It meant that betting on these people to win might not be a bad idea. He always made sure he was on the winning side. "Alright, fine. I'll take part in this gang of yours." Only so long as they were assured to victory, but Milo was not about to tell them that.

Sal was rather pleased with the outcome of this entire endeavor. In the end, Milo had decided to join their party and all was well within the group. Even if it did take about 2 days to hear a one sentence response, it was still worth it in the end. Sal and the others then had left the building and decided to get on there way with this recruitment mission. Now that there were no more angels in the American mainland, they could simply continue their journey via long ass jet ride to the next destination. How did Sal know that there were no more angels here? He didn't. But one can always assume things. In the end they all piled into their gifted private jet and took off towards the compass's next destination. With that done, Sal had fallen asleep.

After successfully defeating a bunch of demon, Allen fell back onto his rear somewhat exhausted. His sword responded to that well since it reverted back to it's wand form. He was going to need to think of a name for his sword and find a better form for it to be while not in use. Maybe a ring would work. It was small compact and suited his taste. If that didn't work then there was definitely something else that the could try, he just didn't know what else at the moment. Allen decided to think more about this tomorrow and thus found somewhere to fall asleep.

randon wasn't entirely sure what was going on at this point. Apparently the blonde haired girl before him was a Nephilim, which Brandon remembered as being massive super enemies based on how they were referred to. But apparently Heinry had two little Nephys of his own, them being Sora and Belle, and they were apparently locked up in hell or something. The girl, who's name was Malo seemed to then have something to do within these walls, probably something to do with Rivaille or something. Then Heinry went on this speech about she didn't have to work for Hell and that she was just a tool to the dark angels and that he was sorry for her and all this other platitude-esque stuff. Once he was done, Malo then kind of just laughed off Heinry's speech and continued to say how Sora and Belle would totally love to hear Heinry's wise words or something to that effect. Brandon then decided to chime in.

"Well, if she has her heart set on helping Hell and decided that on her own, then that's her own decision. If you wanted to like, not fight or help us, the fallen angel badasses an all, then more power to you. But your heart has chosen your path and we should totally just be cool with that." Brandon had said this rather positively and wholeheartedly. "Granted, if you're going to be going against us, then yeah we gotta stop you...So what're you here for miss?"

"How nice," she replied sarcastically, "for all of you, obviously."

Seeing as she was here for the the angels that were here, he decided that introductions were a bit in order. "Oh, well. I'm Brandon, you've already met my guarding buddy over here. Pleasure to meet you."

"I don't really care what your name is."

As rude as she might've been, that wasn't going to put a damper on this boy's spirits. No sirree. He'd just have to be even more relentlessly positive. "Oh. But it's always nice to know as many people as you can, don't you know? Anyway, I'm sure my pal over here still has much to be asking you, but I can't really let you beyond this point."

Malo then looked down at the knife in her hand and back up to Brandon. "Well unfortunately for you, that doesn't really matter to me." She rolled it back and forth between her palms and shrugged. "I'm going to go wherever I want."

Mali was insistent about "going where she wanted" but had yet to do anything to prove her point. ...Not that Henrik doubted her seriousness. She was a child, dangerous or not, and they couldn't immediately resort to violence just because this girl was stubborn. Though, the more spoke the more Henrik was willing to believe that there was no changing this girl's mind. If they couldn't talk her into changing sides then getting her to back off was the next best thing.

"There's no scenario in where Hell comes out on top. If you don't want to join us, that's your choice, but you won't survive very long. Just walk away. You can't get past us and when you don't, there's a good chance Lucifer...Lu...or whoever's in charge of babysitting you will kill you for it." Henrik shook his head slowly. "Is it fear that's keeping you in line? Because now that you're here, this is your chance to switch sides. They wouldn't be able to get you." Things would have been different had Mali been an angel. Henrik would have wasted no time putting her down if she had been but this was different. If it had been Anna or Soren arriving at the church and he had not been there to talk them into changing sides, he would hope that someone else would try just as hard.

...And Milo went to sleep thinking about how small the private jet was. He had owned larger, one of which had a talking chair installed for some strange reason.

She yawned out of boredom.

"There's no scenario in where Hell comes out on top." So says he. "If you don't want to join us, that's your choice, but you won't survive very long. Just walk away. You can't get past us and when you don't, there's a good chance Lucifer... Lu... or whoever's in charge of babysitting you will kill you for it."

HA! How wrong he was. She could turn back all she wanted. That was part of the plan. Lure them out.

The old man shook his head slowly. "Is it fear that's keeping you in line? Because now that you're here, this is your chance to switch sides. They wouldn't be able to get you."

Mali snorted. "Fear? As if. I'm not afraid of nothin'. I like what I do. It's way better than cowering in a church for protection. This is unbecoming of an Angel, but whatever; makes my life easier. Anyway, talk is boring. I could have stayed home if I wanted to socialize this much." She smiled and pews broke free of the floor, splintering and flying forward.

And that was when things took a turn for the worse. The first pew cracked and split in two, narrowly missing him but as Henrik tried to use his telekinesis once more nothing happened. He dived to the side to avoid getting smacked by the next oncoming pew. What the hell? Why didn't it work?!

This sickness is messing with your concen-

He drew Nakah in an attempt to use the blade to cleave a pew in half only to be knocked down by it during the effort. Henrik stayed down to avoid getting smashed by the flying debris as he tried to get his head to stop spinning. Now's not a good time to lay down and recover. Araquiel reminded him as if it was really Henrik's choice to be ill. Henrik blinked several times in quick succession to refocus and flicked his wrist in Mali's direction causing rock spikes to erupt from the floor, tearing through it and surround the girl in a crude sort of cage. I don't think putting her in time-out is going to help.

Brandon was kind of just trying to be relentlessly positive to try and avoid this very situation. As it turns out, Malo really had no sign of backing down whatsoever. That was a bit of a let down. Brandon didn't really want to fight this girl, but hey, dems da breaks. She started the fight by sending the pews in the sanctuary area just flying at Brandon and Heinry and it was kind of a not so big of deal for the both of them. Heinry seemed to dodge the pews thrown at him, but Brandon didn't know if he had that kind of dodging capabilities quite like Heinry seemed to. So instead, Brandon simply drew Vis Vis and slashed at the pews being thrown at him. Each time a pew was thrown at him he simply cleaved it in half, following it up with an electrical pulse that sent the two halves flying in opposite direction towards the wall. It was then that Heinry had trapped her in a rock cage and Brandon thought that the man was basically just trying to detain her at the moment. Seeing as most of his powers were simply offense related, Brandon decided that he wouldn't do so well at trapping the girl and waited to see how she reacted to being fit in a cage of stone.

After an anticlimactic confrontation leaving a wrecked room in the abbey, Henrik dusted himself off, looked at Brandon who was also still alive, and shrugged. Mali had backed off so...they won...? Yeah. They showed her. He then headed back to Iris to tell her about what happened. When all was said and done, the two went to sleep.
