"Alrighty then, we'll stop by and meet up back here tomorrow, I guess then. So see you tomorrow, can't wait for the decision." With that done, Brandon had walked back to the group, to bring news towards the entire group about how the recruitment process had gone. "Alright guys, pretty sure we can put him down as a definite maybe. Don't worry though, we'll finish it up tomorrow." Having done all he could for the day, and no one else probably wanting to go talk to the fallen angel at the moment, Brandon and co had went back in their form of transit and had deployed off to a hotel for the night. It was there that Brandon had acquired a room and laid down for post day review. They had learned about Xana being safe and sound in Braazeel, he had nearly managed to recruit another fallen angel to their squad, and he had set up an appointment for tomorrow. Hopefully the kid would show up, because if he didn't...well they could find him anyway via their magic compass. With that out of the way, Brandon went to sleep.

After finding the new angel, a student, and having Brandon tell him all about what they were and what they needed, they all headed back to the hotel. It was an exhausting day for her. Nothing felt right after hearing about Leo's death from Hana. She also wondered what Hana was doing right now. Right before she hung up, she sounded like she was in pain. She really hoped that everything would be okay with her. Hopefully nothing too serious would happen. It would absolutely crush her soul if anything happened to her. When she was finished running through everything in her head, she fell asleep, hoping that things would finish quickly on their end so that they could go to Brazil.

"About that, I'm not going to be here at school tomorrow."By the time he'd got the words out of his mouth, the man was already gone. With his theory about him being a new student long gone, he was curious about how he would find him. Then again if he managed to find him out of all the people at school, yes he wore an eyepatch, but to be able to pick him out without any help must've meant that there was way to find him. If that was the case then there was no reason to worry about finding him. His ears heard the ringing of the bell, signalling the end of lunch so he just made his way towards his next class.

The rest of school went by like a blur due to what happened at lunch. Am I really a angel? He kept asking himself that as he made his way home. Aside from music, he didn't have any talents that he knew of that came close to turning a wristband into a wand and then into a shiv. Man this was a lot to think about. When he got home, all he did was shower before climbing into bed, ready to give his mind a break from think about this whole angel business today.

Panting with a smile the blades that Alistair had called forth had returned back into his body and the aristocrat sighed as he stood up straight "Well now, that was a good practice...my powers are growing quite well" Alistair said with a grin staring down at his hand before heading off back to his room. With a sigh he just collapsed on his bed right beside his dear mistress and quickly fell asleep.

It was exhausting -- long and exhausting -- but if it was worth every minute of it. If it wasn't for her being who she was, the body would not have been able to handle it. The whole thing had already almost been too much. It helped that all the available nuns in the abbey stood over her with prayers. She felt invigorated by the prayers, like Father's will was soully keeping her going. It was good.

She sat upright on the bed, exhausted and covered in sweat. Her back pressed against the wall and stringy, damp, red hair fell in her face. Hana stroked the baby's face, her blue eyes never leaving the sight of him. He was beautiful. He was beautiful and she would have to say good-bye. Her heart ached at the thought. They would have little time together before she had to leave him. He was safest here in the care of the Sisters. They understood what was so special about him. The blessings, along with Xathanael's powers, would keep the abbey secure. So long as he didn't go outside he would be fine.

    Já o nomeou?2

She looked up to see Sister Marie standing over her. Hana smiled softly and stroked his hair. She nodded once and placed a small kiss on his forehead. Reuben, she whispered. Reuben Holt Riviera. Ele vai ser forte, como seu pai.2 There was a pat on her shoulder then Sister Marie turned to leave her alone in the room, with the door shut.

Brandon had woken up that day, raring to go and ready to take on this whole recruitment thing. Sure, it was pretty up in the air at the end of yesterday's talk, but Brandon was not taking no for an answer and as such, was going to go find that eyepatch angel and get him on their side. So, he got out of bed and brought himself all the way down to the entrance of the hotel, and awaited the rest of the gang to pile down into the lobby. After they did, Brandon and gang all had gone into their clown car many cars, they went off to follow the compass to find the angel in question. While they totally did not go to the school that they had gone to yesterday, they still ended up at what was most likely the angel's house, and as such, Brandon got out and decided to go and knock on the door, waiting for the fallen angel to come and answer the door.

Most of Allen's morning was spent listening to music in the living room. He needed something to keep his mind busy for the time being as music was he best solution to the problem. He'd given the this whole angel thing some thought and he'd gotten somethings backed. For a cover story as to why he would be missing school, he could just stay that he's on a trip with some family or something like that. So long as it was believable it was fine by him. Taking his headphones from off his ears, he heard a knock on the door. He had no idea who was at his door, but still got up to answer it. When he opened the door he not only found the boy from yesterday, bit his theory that they had some way of finding him proven true."So, how exactly did you figure out where I live?

Lauren hadn't really said much since the attack that kidnapped four of them and killed Hay Sun. It was mainly because every time she spoke, a voice in the back of her head ridiculed her for her intelligence. Which, hurt a lot. But, she learned to suffer with it. Alice kept periodically checking up on her to see if she was okay and she would smile and reassure that she was fine.

Today, they were on recruiting day part two for this particular person. They were aiming to pick up another kid, and she was wondering if anything would happen if they just up and stole a kid from their home. Did they have to talk to his parents? Is that what they did with Will?

When they got to the kid's house the energetic kid knocked on the door, and the door was answered luckily by the kid and not his parents. He asked a question and no one seemed to answer at first so Lauren spoke up, "We have this magic compost that points in the direction where other people are... well, angles."

    Angels.Are you really that brainless?

    "Other angels... sorry..."

    "Other angels... sorry..."

The answer had come from yet another person who'd approached his door."That explains it."Even with the mess up on angels, he still managed to understand what she meant. Still, seeing the woman approach the door brought and curious thought into his mind. First he looked at the boy from yesterday and back to the woman."So I assume that age isn't a factor in your group. It was a reasonable assumption, not an obvious one though. If it had been a little kid and an a old man, then yeah it would be very obvious.

"So I assume that age isn't a factor in your group." The boy had commented on the group.

"It's unfortunate, b-but yes, that is true." The albino teen started. "If it were up to m-me, I would only ask the o-older angels to come w-with us and leave the younger ones t-to live their lives in peace. But, we're d-desperate and need as m-much help as we c-can get. S-so, I'm sorry to have t-to ask this, b-but will you come with us?" It really hurt her to have to ask that, but it had to be done. No matter what, they had to win, and that meant that they needed as many people as they could get, young or old.

"Mmmm... I wonder how this kid will end up dyyyiiiinnnnggggg~?" Victor piped up.

"Keep quiet, filthy pervert." Azazel immediately spoke up. "I don't want you to give Joslyn the wrong idea."

"Sorry, I'm just prone to speaking my miiiiiiiinnnnnd~" He answered playfully.

"Yeah, whatever. At the very least, you've got some manners."

"It's unfortunate, b-but yes, that is true." This time it had been a pale young girl to speak. So this would definitely be an interesting group/experience for him. If it were up to m-me, I would only ask the o-older angels to come w-with us and leave the younger ones t-to live their lives in peace. But, we're d-desperate and need as m-much help as we c-can get. S-so, I'm sorry to have t-to ask this, b-but will you come with us?"

"Sure, I'll join you guys."If they really were desperate then saying no wouldn't exactly be helpful to them. However he still needed to get the things that be packed. "Let me get my things first."He made his way back inside and headed to his room. Everything that he planned on bringing was already packed and ready for him. So all he needed to do was grab it and head back to the door.

As it was, the kid had decided to join up with their party after all. That was good enough for now, as long as this kid wasn't actually going to be an issue for another day to recruit like the one that had joined up a few days ago, it was all good. Though there was some odd feeling towards this new angel, who had an eyepatch for whatever reason, almost as though, like most of them, he didn't like him. Though this one felt different and it was almost as if Maalik was feeling particularly hostile towards this angel. Why? He wasn't entirely sure, but it probably had something to do with, as Maalik told him, this man being the "Fire of the Lord." Apparently Maalik wasn't too fond of another angel who specialized in Hellfire. Though Maalik did feel this lingering animosity, it wasn't as pronunced as it used to be. He was getting used to being around the other fallen angels, and Richard himself wasn't entirely concerned about them. In the end, the gang had all got back to their cars and took off back to the plane to start going to their next location, Sal explaining to the newcomer the basics and all he needed to know the way there.

The gang had all made it to Brazil to find, not a new fallen, but the oldest one of the group...at least, experience wise. Hana was hidden away here, and the group was now to go and retrieve her so that the party could become that much closer to full once more. Following the compass the group found their way to a church. It was odd coming here, as though despite the fact that he was indeed an angel, this was the first time in a long time that Richard had actually visited one of these. With this, the group had gotten out, only for Richard to look to Samuel and motion over to the building. "Would you like some alone time for your reunion?"

Allen had learned some interesting things during the car right. Most of those things he would test out later, but right now it seemed like they'd stopped at a church. Was there a nun that was an angel too. Sure it made sense, more sense anyway, but it was still odd. As it turned out, it wasn't a nun, just someone else that the group knew. Since he didn't know the woman, Allen just stayed back and went to sleep and wherever they'd decided to stay at.

Her hand ran lightly over Reuben's sleeping face. He was perfect. He was a perfect little boy. She breathed in deeply and there was a flutter in her chest. They were here. She was already out of time with her perfect little baby boy. A tear ran down Hana's cheek and she pressed her lips together, breathing heavily. She had to say good bye to him already. It hurt. There was an ache in her chest and she sat upright, sliding her legs off of the bed. Her lips pressed lightly against his forehead. He was wrapped up into a small thin blanket with reddish - brown hair peaking out the top.

Hana licked her lips and walked tiredly out of the room. Her hair was a mess and one of the nuns approached her from the side hall, coming to Hana's assistance. Senhorita Angel, há pessoas na porta.1

She nodded. They were here. She knew that. A strong part of her didn't want to leave Reuben alone in the room. Será que você poderia fazer algumas camas para eles hoje à noite?2 There was a smile from the nun before she disappeared back down the hall. There weren't many rooms in the abbey, but there were plenty of beds. With everyone here, there was no doubt that tomorrow would be trouble. Someone had been watching the church, and now the whole group was here. It was like a danger magnet.

Hana made her way to the entrance with a smile on her face to see everyone. It felt like an eternity had passed. She didn't want to keep leaving everyone like this. Each time it felt more and more tiresome. Hana had never really felt loneliness until a couple of months ago -- true loneliness. It was because of these people. She opened to door to the abbey with Sister Marie at her side before a knock could sound. Front and center was Sal. Her smile widened and she ran her fingers through her messy red hair. Hi Sal.

Why hello Hana. A pleasure to see you once again.

She stepped out of the way and opened up the entrance for everyone to come in. It is a pleasure. Everyone come in. The Sisters are making up beds and there is food in the dining room. Hana moved and leaned against the wall.

Sam made his way up to the red - haired girl standing against the wall. Hey. It's been a while.

She smiled up at him and tucked a lock behind her ear. Hey. There's something I want to show you. This was a bad idea, but everyone was staying here for the night. There was no way to hide it. He should know, but it could make him angrier. This was ... this was difficult. Hana grabbed him by the hand and lead him down the hall.

Huh? Hey, whoa, slow down! He managed as she pulled on his arm.

Hana stopped in front of the door and turned back to him. This is - I've been keeping something from you and it's really a big deal. Samuel, she inhaled sharply, there's someone I want you to meet. She pushed the door open behind her and stepped into the room. There was a murmur from the bundle on the bed. Sam this is Reuben. Hana moved to the bed and carefully lifted up the bundle into her arms. Reuben. Holt. Riveria.

Needless to say, the church felt a bit odd to the lazy man. There was something oddly revitalizing about being in it, yet something that he couldn't quite pin his finger on. Some form of irritation of some sort. Well that was clearly going to not be troublesome at all when he wished to get some sleep. Regardless, the entire gang had made it in and they were staying here for the night. Wonderful. Without much prompting Richard went off to find his own bed and then simply went to sleep there, as he usually would anywhere else.

Brandon was super stoked that today, the gang had managed to merge back together just that much more. With good old Xana back in there party, they were slowly becoming a full party once more, and they had a new team member to boot. Not to mention, there was all the team mates that Xana needed to be introduced to. There were so many of them and he was sure that they would all bring their own unique thing to the table, like things that weren't fire. Regardless, It was time for Brandon to hit the proverbial hay and so that's what he proverbially did.

Because Arch had been sick for a week and had spent most of his free time sleeping or drugged up, Henrik and the missus went to sleep with nothing else to add. At least they were married. So they totally wouldn't be looked down upon by a bunch of nuns.

He couldn't slack, he could waste time, for Alistair, he was one who did not wish to merely sit still. It had seemed the other had pulled their **** together as he hadn't felt no wayward angelic souls leaving the human bodies. The wailing of souls, the despair, the anguish they felt, Alistair would endure it all.

Wounds were such minor things, his body was always covered by the suits, covering the numerous scars that had remained on his body. He panted as the blood ran down removing the torn jacket and eventually the shirt as well. Wrapping the bandages around his wounds, Alistair smiled softly. "Damn me...always pushing myself too much...though then again Lu would say I'm not pushing my self harder" Alistair said quietly before shaking his head with a chuckle upon the thought of his mistress.

Temeluchas would have preferred him to of probably leave the blood as she was quite the messy girl, but he had some class. Taking his worn and tattered upper clothing, he merely discarded it and walked of back to his room. He had many of the same suits so it really didn't matter that he tossed this one out.

Just how many would die? just how many would survive? Which path would be true? which opinion would remain on top? all these questions were something that drove him, made him push to survive. He needed to witness it all. On his bed he rested beside the girl that had managed to make an exception for his idea and soon enough drifted off to sleep

    DAY: 70 - 4/4 | DATE: December 1st, 2013 [Sunday] | LOCATION: Church/Abbey in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

He was surprised to see that the person she wanted him to meet was a baby. However, he was even more shocked to hear the name of the baby. Riviera. The name echoed in his mind as he looked at them with a calm expression. His eyes widened as he looked at the baby in her arms. "C... Come again?"

She pressed her lips together and pulled the blanket down passed his head. A stray tear fell down her face as she looked up at the large man in front of her. He's your son -- our son.

"O-Our..." The shocked man felt around behind him for something, anything, to sit in. He fell into a nearby seat and continued to shift his stare between the girl and the baby in her arms. "Son?"

She nodded her head slowly. There was a timid look on her face, unsure of how to proceed. ... Yeah, she breathed. Sam?

"Ju..." He started through heavy breaths. "Just give me a... a minute..." It was slowly hitting him that he was now a father. Him. An excessively violent man who had fallen in love with a mysterious redhead he was originally supposed to kill was now a dad. The very concept of that was unbelievable. Yet right in front of him was the concrete proof of that.

Hana held Reuben closer to her body and lowered off of the bed. This was a big deal. She had time to prepare, but Sam didn't. He had no clue. I'm sorry. I knew this was -- I should have kept it a secret.

"I just... I mean..." A quick sigh escaped him. "Well, he's here now, isn't he? There's no point in worrying about it now. It's just..." He looked down as he remembered the training with the mirror Leon made him go through. "It's just that... I'm scared..."

She moved closer to him, leaning into his side. So am I. I'm terrified. This was never supposed to happen and it did and I'm scared too.

He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and held her close. There was nothing he could say now that could change anything. They stayed there in silence, Sam keeping her in his arm. This was the consequence of their actions that night, and now they had to live with it. At least, hopefully, they would live through it. There really was no telling if they would survive, and the thought of that terrified him even more.

After meeting his son and reuniting with Hana, he left the room and went to the dining room. He ate his dinner in silence as he thought about what was going on and what would happen now. There was so much to think about now, so much to get better at, and so much to learn. He really had no idea where to begin with anything, now. The idea of him having a son still seemed so distant, so unreal.

When he finished his meal, he went to his bed and lay down, staring at the ceiling. With everything clawing at the back of his mind, he couldn't fall asleep. He tried and tried, but he just couldn't do it. His mind refused to let him until he did something about it. But what could he do? There wasn't anything much he could do now. Then, he remembered where he was and got up out of bed. He went into the main sanctuary of the church and went up to the altar. There, he knelt down, closed his eyes, and did something he had never done before in his life: he prayed. He prayed to the God he once thought didn't exist.

God, if you can hear me, I know that I've done many horrible things in the past, committed hundreds, maybe even thousands, of sins. I didn't even think you existed until all of the Hell I've gone through. But now, now I know, and I'm coming to you to ask for your help. If you don't want to, I can understand, but this isn't just about me anymore. This is about the person that I love and the son that you gave to us. So please, for their sake's, I'm asking you to help us. Help us get through this fight that is coming. Help us win, and please, if we survive, help us to take care of our son. Help me guide and teach him like a father should, because I'm not sure I'm even capable of that. That's all I'm asking for. If you could help us, I would be forever grateful to you, like I should've been from the beginning.

After finishing his prayer, he stood up and returned to his bed. Whether or not it worked, he had no idea, but for now at least, he felt more at ease. He closed his eyes, still uncertain about the future, and went to sleep.

After enjoying the meal prepared for them by the nuns, she went to one of the beds that was set for their group. She lay in it, brimming with joy that they had finally been reunited with Hana. Worrying about her safety had been taking its toll on her. But now that she saw her in person, with her own two eyes, she could breathe a much needed sigh of relief. Still, this wasn't the time to let their guards down. Now, they needed to make sure that they all survived and make it through together.

With all of this buzzing about in her already occupied mind, she fell asleep.

Sam hadn't come back after going to eat. He must have found somewhere else to sleep. It left her feeling a little empty inside. Hana was forced up all night. Even with how exhausted she was, sleep did not come easy to those that were constantly on high alert. She hadn't been wrong about everyone's arrival drawing attention. There were scratching noises at the window. Every time she thought it possible to rose off, the scratches would have her up again. Between that and tending to a newborn on her own, she was significantly more exhausted come morning. Hana almost fell over as she pulled herself out of bed. Her blue eyes landed on Reuben and already he looked bigger. She was going to miss out on the entirety of his youth. All these years without ever bringing forth a child and now of all times had to be when he was born. She had never experienced the full growth of a Nephilim, only heard about it second hand. This was different. He was hers and she was going to miss it.

It had already been discussed with Sister Marie about his living arrangements. The nuns would raise the boy. They would raise her boy. Her boy that Samuel, the man who asked her to marry him, didn't want anything to do with. It was just too much. She bent over to give him a kiss and stroke his soft reddish - brown hair. He probably wouldn't even recognize her the next time they met, if they met again. That was what hurt the most. If she didn't make it back for him, then she really was a failure.

Hana changed into fresh clothes, her blue eyes never leaving her son's sleeping face. She pulled her unruly red locks back into a ponytail and heaved a heavy sigh. She had to stay composed and continue to keep this from the others. It had been a mistake sharing the news with Sam. She knew it would be, but some small part of her wished to be human for once and live like a happy human family. The idea of that was severely flawed. She could never be human and those sorts of ideals would never be possible for angels, let alone fallen angels. She rubbed her tired eyes and exited the room, shutting the door behind her softly. It was time to meet the new recruits and prepare for what was about to come. Thanks to Raziel, the Dark Angels knew of the location to Leviathan's tomb. As she walked the halls, Hana could hear the ominous noises coming from outside. The abbey was small and without the right forms of protection, would not last long. She did what she could, but she was tired and worn out. Not to mention, only one person. They had a whole group now. Together they could do a much better job at protecting the place. Still, nothing would stop the Dark Angels now that they knew.

She followed the hall until she reached the short tunnel that connected the abbey basement to the basements of the church. Through it, she made her way to the sanctuary. There was no turning back now. Sam was scared. Her baby was alone. She needed to do something to help the others she had abandoned on Falkland Islands.
