"Hey, Cal." There was a nudging at her shoulder, followed by a voice. "Good morning, sleepy."

She moaned and rubbed at her face. There was a distorted sense of deja vue about this, but when her eyelids fluttered open, it wasn't Alistair hovering over her, but Soren. A small smile spread on her face and her cheeks burned red. She sat up and combed her fingers through her fair hair. "Good morning Soren. What's up?" she asked groggily. Cal really wasn't a fan of people waking her up from slumber. It seemed to be a common theme as of late and she was not a fan.

As Logan awoke that morning, he found himself feeling better than he was yesterday. While he wasn't feeling like an Olympic participant, he was feeling well enough to get his but out of bed, shower, and get dressed. That alone was good enough.

Don't tell me your regretting all that training. I thought that was what you wanted. Samael said in the same condescending tone Logan's grown to hate.

Oh shut up will ya. He replied as there was a knock on his door. Apparently they were meeting downstairs so that's where he went. Once there, he just listen to what was being said. Most things that were said were either things he's pieced together and figured out based off what was happening. "So where is it pointing too this time?" He figured that he might as well ask.

Soren smiled back at the girl, Anna already beginning to snicker as Cal blushed at him. "Hey..." He turned towards his sister and coughed, motioning towards Cal. "Anna has something to give you."

"Actually, it's from Caius and I. It was his idea. I helped...a little." Anna stepped closer towards Cal and placed the small package with a white bow at the blonde's lap. "He wanted to thank you for looking out for him." She glanced over at Soren and poked at his side. "And I thought I should thank you for keeping Soren from becoming more of a jerk."

    "Really? I'm not that bad."

"Not anymore. Especially since you two have been having fuuunnnn~" She teased in a sort of sing-song manner. Soren could only frown at his sister and shake his head. "Anyway, open it up Cal."

Soren rolled his eyes and patted Cal's shoulder, whispering that he would be back once he got something done. Caius's bed was already empty. Was it like that when he woke up? Maybe Anna had gone to sleep just before the boy had left. "Maybe I might not miss next time. Or not." Anna blinked at Soren only wondering what her brother meant but he knew Cal would understand what he said.

Seeing as how it was a two-person present, Soren felt as if he had little choice going out to look for Caius. If he didn't Anna and Cal would and he would much rather be the one roaming about than either of them. Even if Cal could take care of herself. He looked around in the hallway, wondering which way the boy could have gone. He doubted Caius would go back to his father given all that happened. He had never seen or heard of Caius going to the mirror room either...though he didn't exactly pay attention to all the details. Maybe that was his favorite spot.

The more his thoughts wandered away from Cal the more he was reminded of that burning hatred for everything, including himself. He swallowed it down, knowing nothing good would come if he could not keep it under control. Soren was born angry but he knew he was stronger when he wasn't letting anger guide him. He couldn't afford to be weak anymore.

Like a bad force of habit, Soren found himself staring at the entrance to the training room. He cursed under his breath. He was supposed to be looking for Caius, not looking for an excuse to train. There wasn't anything to be gained by fighting weak demons anymore. It wasn't enough. Still...
"Might as well." He nudged the door open slowly expecting the room to be empty.

"Caius?" And that was the first thing he saw. Aside from several dead demons. He stepped towards the boy and stopped before getting any closer. This was his first time speaking directly to him. "It looks like I missed out on the fun." Soren hardly sounded excited with his joke. Caius was on the floor, bloodied and in tears, and all he could do was make a stupid joke. Once more, Soren cursed under his breath. "Are you alright?"

The doors opened and a disheveled looking Danel came stumbling in. He was assisted by Manitos, with her arm around his waist -- whether or not that was actually helping him was a different story. He sat ever so slightly and rested his chin on his hand, elbow propped up on the armrest of the skeletal throne. The pair of them knelt at the Morning Star's feet and he sighed, waving off Manitos's presence. You may leave, he announced in his usual collected, deep, smooth voice. The succubus rose to her feet and turned back without a word. Danel kept his head low and Lucifer motioned with his finger for the fellow angel to rise. The Angel of Judgement lifted his chin and golden eyes met brown one. We have much to discuss.

"Yes my Liege," Danel replied as monotonously as ever. "As you predicted during the last time I was here --" he winced at the memory, "Temeluchas has developed a bit of her own agenda. She is unstable and is no longer working towards the goal of equality. Beelzebub has been defeated. There are demons lurking about the palace. Yesterday she reaped hundreds of souls from those that were not planned to die, on top of taking many others due to her fires."

The Chief Angel of Torment was out of control. She needed to be put to a stop. While the Morning Star did not mind destroying Midworld to get to Paradise, there were certain things that he would not stand for if they inhibited his ability to reach his goal. She was a pest that needed to be exterminated -- immediately. She must be dealt with at once. Get Manitos to deal with the hole in the basement that has demons flooding in. Make sure Mammon is still working to find the Gates. You are to deal with Temeluchas. We must be rid of her post haste.

Danel nodded. He rose to his rickety and weak.

    And Danel,

"Yes my Liege?" he asked, turning back at once.

If you do not dispose of her quickly, you might as well take one of those knives of yours and dispose of yourself. No more mistakes.

"Yes my Liege." Mist swirled and Danel was gone, leaving the throne room empty, save for the Morning Star.

Through all the chaos in his mind he heard a voice. The voice was a foreign one and with his confused mind he couldn't even tell if somebody actually was actually calling out to him or not. His yellow eyes that had been staring around the area spotted Soren up ahead and his eyes immediately widened upon realizing that the elder had been here staring down at him. "S-Soren?" Caius said

This was not what he wanted, he did not want anybody to see him like this, he did not want anybody to worry. He didn't know what Soren thought about him, he didn't even think the elder cared about him at all, but why did he come looking for him? He hated it, he hated being a bother, he hated being a burden for them.

"Go away...." Caius struggled to say before sitting up and crawled back against the corner of the training room "please go...I'm fine...I just need some privacy is all...Im sorry" Caius said trying his best to hold back the pain from his voice. Back against the corner wall he raised his knees up to his chest and used his arms to cover his face. His fingernails had grown sharp like bladed claws and his eye's pupil had become snake like

Iris followed behind Henrik as they headed out of their room to gather with the others. According to Leon, several of their number still didn't have their weapons. How many trips would they have to make to get them? Last time he checked, London was still overrun by all sorts of baddies. It wasn't a problem, but if he went back there it only meant leaving Iris behind again. "So we're splitting up again to gather the last of those weapons, right?"

Henrik crossed his arms, turning his head to try and get a peek at the compass to no avail. Why was Joslyn hiding it? Was she afraid someone would openly try to break it or did she want to make sure nobody knew exactly where it was pointing? Then again, they had not been led astray so far.

Soren smiled at her and Anna began to snicker. Cal cleared her throat awkwardly. Apparently his twin could see right through them. "Hey..." He greeted her, turning towards his sister and coughing -- probably for the same reason she did. He motioned to Cal while facing Anna. "Anna has something to give you."

Her eyes widened. "Oh really?" she asked curiously. Cal had never received a present before -- unless a smokey rose that disappeared after a few moments counted.

"Actually, it's from Caius and I. It was his idea. I helped...a little." Anna corrected, stepping closer to Cal and placing the present beside her. This was awfully nice of them. She didn't do anything to deserve it. The small box was wrapped neatly with a white bow on it. The packaging was so pretty she almost didn't want to open it. "He wanted to thank you for looking out for him." Anna glanced to Soren and poked at his side. "And I thought I should thank you for keeping Soren from becoming more of a jerk."

"This really isn't ne -- " she started, only to be interrupted by the bickering twins.

    "Really? I'm not that bad."

"Not anymore. Especially since you two have been having fuuunnnn~" She teased in a sort of sing-song manner. Soren could only frown at his sister and shake his head. "Anyway, open it up Cal."

Cal's face burned as she held the package. Soren rolled his eyes and patted her shoulder, whispering that he would be back shortly. She wondered where he was going, but decided not to ask. She was also confused as to why Caius wasn't helping Anna give her the present when he helped with it. Her gaze shifted to his bed briefly to find it empty and it further confused her. She shrugged her shoulders and nearly choked on saliva at Soren's departing words. "Maybe I might not miss next time. Or not."

Her face turned beet red and she had to look away from Anna to compose herself before opening the present. She undid the ribbon and opened the small box to find a necklace inside with a locket for a pendant. Her red eyes widened and she ran the small metal object through her fingers. "This is lovely. Thank you Anna. I hope Caius comes back soon for me to thank him as well." Cal brushed her short hair out of the way and hung the necklace from around her neck, letting the locket fall flat against her chest. "Fits perfect," she said with a smile and a thumbs up. The door to the bedroom opened and Mali came strolling in. There was a smug expression on her face when she turned to see Cal and Anna at her bed. Her sister's black eyes fell on the locket and smirked.

"That's cute. Which boyfriend got you that?"

Cal narrowed her gaze at her half - twin - sister. "Shut up Mali. I don't have a boyfriend, let alone more than one."

Mali rolled her eyes and made her way back over to her bed, flopping down on her back.

"And I wanted privacy when I spent days training here. Gone before anyone woke up and back when everyone was asleep. It helped me get my act together. Something tells me that you need something else." Soren continued to walk closer to Caius, stepping over the corpses as he looked over the changes the boy had been going through. It seemed like his powers were manifesting. It seemed a little late to Soren but then again, Anna had taken even longer. Once more, Soren forced himself to look beyond the violence and try to piece together what Caius might have been going through. Daddy issues? Maybe, but that didn't fit with what he was seeing.

Soren crouched in front of Caius and glanced back over at the fallen demons. He had no idea how to approach this so instead of asking Caius what was wrong, he went for a different approach. "I think I've spent my entire short life doing this kind of damage. I hate demons but at least they're where they belong. Even if Alistair, Lu, your father, and all the other angels around here hadn't done anything bad, I'd hate them too. This whole time I've been driven to kill them all." He sighed as a small blade of mist materialized in his hand. Soren tossed it at the nearest corpse. "As for us? I know we shouldn't exist and the darkest part inside of me wants to..." He trailed off. "I don't know how to make it go away but I manage it. If I didn't keep it under control I'd end up hurting the few people here I care about. We need to stick together. Especially if we're going to get out of here anytime soon." He didn't want to bring up any plans on leaving to Caius, but Soren knew that with everything that had happened to the boy with his father...

Anna smiled at Cal, sitting by the blonde as she put on the locket. She swung her legs out and placed her hands on her lap. "I'm happy you like it. I think Soren went to bring Caius back. You can thank him too." At the entrance of Mali she waved despite the girl's attitude problem.

Anna looked at the door where her brother had left from and back at Cal who was still covered in a blush from what Soren had said earlier. She took it to mean that Cal and her brother actually kis--Gross. She didn't want to imagine her brother kissing. Anna shook her head to get the image out. Still, she was curious about what was going on between the two. "Do you like my brother? I mean it's kind of obvious what he thinks. Soren's bad at subtlety." She lowered her voice so they wouldn't be bothered by Mali. "Like-like?" Anna scooted closer. "I won't tell but I want to know you aren't messing with him." She narrowed her eyes. Even if she trusted Cal and even if Soren was the one trying to keep them together, he was still her brother and she didn't want to see him hurt.

"So where is it pointing this time?" The question came from Logan. Once again, she kept the compass hidden from view while she checked it. After a bit of struggling to look at it comfortably, she pointed in one of the directions it had been pointing, north west.

"I-It's saying there is an angel over in that direction. Though th-that's only one direction." The girl said as she dropped her hand. "It's pointing in a f-few other directions." Trying to point to all of them would be rather pointless because the needle kept changing its position. "One thing is c-clear, though. There are more angels f-for us to find."

"Seriously? Even more of the Merry Band of Outcasts?" Great, just fucking great." The voice in her head groaned in disdain.

"Oh, don't complain," Azazel asserted. "We're only doing what was asked of us, so you can just shut your mouth, already."

"You know, having more people around may make things more iiiiiiiiiiiiinteeeeeeeerrrrreeeeeeesssssstiiiiiiiinnnnnnggggg~" the other demon spoke to Tessa.

"Oh, you just shut your face, dipshit!"

"Alright, quit it before I really get involved with this." The fallen angel interjected before this went any further.

    "But-"

"But nothing, you worm. Just shut up and don't speak another word." The angel's demand was met with a dissatisfied grumbling as Tessa complied with her demands. "Good."

"Thanks for stopping them," the albino teen whispered to the angel.

    "No problem, honey~"

Soren didn't decide to leave and once he heard his voice Caius slowly lowered his arms from his face and stare up at Soren as he began to speak. It was odd to hear Soren speak to him, but he liked listening to his words. It was much different than when Cal would try to comfort him, and he wasn't even sure if it was an attempt at really comforting.

Regardless of this fact, he placed all his attention to the words of Soren and listened. Soren himself couldn't understand the hatred he felt, but regardless of this he saw that the elder was trying to control it. "how...do you control it?" Caius asked softly as he lowered his head into his knees and closed his eyes.

"I want to leave...I really do...but I cant..I'm scared..." Caius said gripping his own arms with his sharp nails. "I know we're not normal...but I'm different...I don't know what I am...these horns, these nails, this painful feeling in my chest...this lust for blood..its not normal...Im afraid of what I am..." Caius said painfully as his nails continued to dig deeper into his flesh. For him the pain of the nail was merely minuscule

Lu sat up in her bed and looked to see Alistair sitting across the room. She furrowed her brows and ran her fingers through her long brown hair. "Are you watching me sleep?" she asked him. Her blue eye blinked a few times and she threw back the bedsheets rising to her feet. With a snap of her fingers, Lu was dressed. She wore the same cashmere sweater and pleated skirt from when she first met Henrik. Her wings flapped lightly behind her back and she approached the man in the chair with her hands clasped behind her back. Lu leaned in, her face inches from his and she lifted his chin with the tip of her finger. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting long, Pet." They had much to do today -- worse than yesterday -- and she needed to get started immediately.

There was a knock at the door and Lu snapped her head in the other direction, looking dissatisfied. Everyone should know by now not to interrupt her when she was in her room. She marched to the door and it flew open. Danel was standing on the other side, taking off his ring. He looked at her with dark eyes and she groaned. "What do you want?" she asked in annoyance.

"Lu, you've gone pretty postal and he wants you gone." Danel warned.

"Please, I'm just getting started. Speaking of which, it's time for us to go." She grabbed Alistair and they disappeared.

After what felt like a good long while for him his mistress had finally awoken from her slumber and slumber and made him realize something he was doing that he really didn't mind "maybe" Alistair said with a smile as he watched the clothes just suddenly appear on her body. Her powers were quite convenient though he did wonder how it pertained to torture in the slightest.

His chin was raised and Alistair merely smiled at her as their faces were merely inches away. "come now, I've already gotten used to your late sleeping habits" Alistair said. Their little moment was interrupted by the sudden knock on the door and Alistair leaned back on his chair as he stared over at Lu as she answered the door.

Danel was the culprit that knocked the door and what he said was quite interesting. His attention was quite locked on what was needed to be said, but before a conversation could even be brought up Lu had dismissed it. She grabbed him and then they were off, ready to do something similar to the other day. "Temeluchas...If I may ask...what are you planning...you do see awfully calm that Lucifer wants you dead..." Alistair said calmly. Surely she was not going to merely ignore the threat and just continue on with merely murdering random people. Surely there was more to it...

The blonde thumbed the locket around her neck. She glanced over at her half - twin - sister and just shook her head before turning her attention back to Anna. "Do you like my brother? I mean it's kind of obvious what he thinks. Soren's bad at subtlety." Cal blushed and sucked on her bottom lip. Anna lowered her voice so Mali couldn't hear, though Cal doubted that would stop Mali in the least bit. "Like-like?" Anna scooted closer. "I won't tell, but I want to know you aren't messing with him." She narrowed her eyes at Cal.

She suddenly felt like she was under interrogation. What was this? Cal swallowed and cleared her throat, tugging at the short ends of her blonde hair. "Well, um ..." she stammered, "I mean ... I like Soren. None of us really have any experience with anyone other than each other, but I like him. I would never mess with him Anna. I care about all of you." She set a hand on Anna's shoulder and smiled. "No matter what happens, I would never intentionally hurt any of you, especially Soren."

Cal tossed the sheets back and swung her legs off the bed. She got to her feet and pulled the folding divider in front of her person to change. "Anna, I think you should know that your brother is planning something," she said from behind the divider. Cal pulled the shirt over her head and smoothed it over her torso. She slid the divider aside and gave the raven - haired girl a wary look. "We're all going to leave," she announced.

"Why would you do something as stupid as that?" Mali asked from across the room, sitting up.

She shook her head and reseated herself on her bed. "We need to go Mali. We don't belong here and terrible things are starting to happen. We have to go." she urged her sister.

"Go where? What do you expect to be waiting for us out there?" Mali asked.

Cal stood silent for a moment, then remembered her talk with Alistair. "Alistair said --"

Mali burst out laughing. Somehow the mention of Alistair amused her.

"To be honest, I couldn't have controlled it on my own."
Caius said he was different, but Soren thought otherwise. That bloodlust he was speaking of, Soren was born with it. Maybe it had a different source but he could relate to holding back something dark. "I'm stronger when I'm in control of it. I have my sister to take care of." He lowered his voice to a barely audible whisper adding in, "And Cal..."

Soren sighed out and stood upright, looking down at the younger boy. "I get scared too but I won't let that or my anger get in the way. I can't afford to be weak. Not when when we're so close to leaving." Mist swirled around Soren's hands for a brief moment before vanishing as quickly as it came. "You just need something to focus on. Something stronger than hate." He had his focus, two very important people to him, for overcoming his rage. Soren smirked and held out his hand down towards Caius.

"Come on. We need to stick together."

"Good." Anna nodded at Cal once she had been assured Cal had no intention of hurting her brother. She was right to trust Cal and was glad to have a friend like her. Anna's eyes followed Cal as she disappeared behind the folding wall to change. It was then she brought up her brother. Anna raised her eyebrow and Cal continued by saying they would all leave.

Mali seemed to take it as a joke.
"If my brother says we're going to leave, then we're leaving." But Mali was right. Who would be waiting on the other side? Soren didn't like Alistair and she couldn't say she disagreed with her brother's opinions on the adults. This was a bad place filled with terrible things.

"We don't need anybody else." Anna stood up and walked over to Mali. "We have each other and we're going to stick together. Cal wants to leave. So does Soren and I'm sure Caius does too. I don't want to be here anymore. If you want to stay behind you're going to be alone." She glared at Mali. Cal's half-sister wasn't nice ever since she came back from that place, but it didn't mean she going to let her put down her brother's--their plan.

They moved through the mist quickly, but there was still enough time for Alistair to pop off an annoying as ever question. "Temeluchas, ... If I may ask... what are you planning? You do see awfully calm that Lucifer wants you dead..."

She smirked and the mist cleared. The air was cool and the sun was shining on them. Ancient stone layered the ground beneath their feet. A devilish grin spread on her face as she raised her arms to the Aztec pyramid behind her back. "I do not fear the Morning Star. He sits there on his skeletal throne looking intimidating while the rest of us do all the work. If anything he should fear me -- he does fear me. If he didn't fear that I would mess up his plans, which I am, he wouldn't be wanting to get rid of me. He sent Danel which was Lucifer's biggest mistake. Danel won't touch me." she said still smiling.

Lu cracked her knuckles over her head and turned to face the pyramid. "Now, as for our work, what we did yesterday was just a test. I presume you have been strengthening your bond with Azazel which will be helpful. What Harbonah did in England is child's play. She just allowed for a bunch of demons to crossover easier and possess the mortals. These grounds are riddled with ancient spirits and a goldmine for death. You are going to call on all those souls and raise these dead. No one gets to win but me, not Heaven or Hell. This is mine." She pointed to the ground. Tourists shuffled about per usual.

Her grin shifted darker and she snapped her fingers. Mist shot out and a large tree branch fell on an elderly man. He landed on his back with the heavy branch pinning him down. His wife screamed and knelt to his side, shouting for help. Lu laughed and turned to Alistair, pleased with herself. "You should get to it. We have more than just a city to wreak havoc on. We won't be returning to Hell any time soon, so get comfortable."

Danel watched them go with a sigh. If this was how she was going to play, it was time to offer her up to those that wanted her most. As long as it meant he didn't have to do anything, Danel was all right with that. He arched his back, stretching the sore muscles and rubbed at his bruised face. He didn't exactly look fit for appearances, but there wasn't much for him to do about it at this moment in time. Mist swirled at his ankles, wrapping around him like a blanket. He sighed and fully extended his wings as it cleared outside of a hotel.

    FREEZE.
The doors flew open and the large group stood in the lobby. The humans around them were frozen in time. Mortals were so easily manipulated by time freezes. He gave them all a strained smile, only to receive dirty looks by many. Danel held up his hands in a sign of surrender to show he meant them no harm. "Relax. I just come with good news is all. I'll be out of your hair in no time." His dark eyes landed on Adam before shifting to Joslyn, a dry smile spreading on his face. "How's that compass treating you?" he asked Joslyn haphazardly before turning back to everyone else.

"Temeluchas has been breaking and is unstable. She has 'gone rogue' as you would say and no longer works for our cause. While this may sound good to you, it isn't. She is acting only on her own behalf with no regard for anyone else. Yesterday she nearly wiped out all of Little Rock, Arkansas; stealing souls and burning buildings. That is only a taste of her power and it'll only get worse as time goes on. She isn't helping anyone but herself and it doesn't matter who gets rid of her, so long as she is out of the picture." He took a step back and slipped his hands into his front pockets. It was always a risky move to pop in on them, but after their last encounter Danel figured he had a few minutes before anyone would try to pull anything.

Suddenly, as they were talking, the people around them stopped moving completely. No hand movements, no lip flapping, not even the steady rise and fall of breathing. Everyone except for their little group of fallen angels was frozen in place. Then, the doors flew open and in stepped the Chicken Winged Bastard. His face was bruised up, and he was holding up his hands as if he were surrendering to them. "You've got a lot of nerve-" Sam started before being interrupted by Danel himself.

"Relax. I just come with good news is all. I'll be out of your hair in no time." As if the bastard would bring them good news. It all seemed like some kind of sick joke. His eyes settled on the timid little girl holding on to the compass. "How's that compass treating you?" What the hell was he getting at? Did he know something about it? She has been very secretive with it as of late, so something must have happened. When he asked the question, she took a hesitant step back, clearly affected by the question. He quickly turned his attention back to the rest of the group standing in front of him.

Just what the hell was he thinking? Was he just asking them to do his dirty work now? That lazy son of a bitch, trying to push his problems onto them. However, the damage she seemed to be causing was no less real, regardless of who told them.

"You arrogant asshole, shoving all of your dirty work onto us!" He spoke in a calm and collected manner despite his crystal clear anger. "What, afraid you'll get yourself killed trying to off her, or are you hoping that will happen to us if we go to stop her?" With a guy like him, there could be so many ulterior motives for what he was doing standing in front of them.

Alistair was quite surprised to see that they had made their way into a bunch of ruins, not just any ruins but some aztec ruins. He was expecting more of a populated city, but he was quite curious what reason they were here for. He listened to the words of Lu and all he really could do was cross his arms and say nothing.

Lu was being cocky as usual, she was being rash and the way things were going he did not know how this would turn out for her. It was good to be confident, but being too confident was just asking to be stabbed in the back. All the death, was it just to spite Lucifer's plan? He had taken a turn where he could not turn back, and if he should turn against it he would die.

The explanation of what his objective was begun and everything began to make much more sense as things went on. Calm eyes stared over at the poor old man and his wife that were calling and crying for help, but there was nothing he could do. He closed his eyes and merely sighed "Right...I'll get on it" Alistair said walking forward closer towards the pyramid.

    "Azrael..."

    "yes?"
"...you did not rebel against god...did you.."

    "..."
    ".....you chose this fate..."

    "...that is correct..."
"I'm beginning to understand it all...."
All the way up Alistair walked until at last he stood at the very top of the pyramid. The view was breathtaking and he really enjoyed it. He stared out at it and thought back to the kids back in hell. He imagined having them right by his side and enjoying the scene together. "I'm sorry Cal...that dream I told you about...it will happen...but I will not be a part of it" Alistair said silently before raising his arm to the heavens and closed his eyes.
"surpassing that of thousands I summon you...starving blackened souls!"
With that said black energy began to form around his hand and Alistair immediately slammed his fist down to the ground. In an instant the souls rose up from the ground around him and soared towards the sky, falling downwards as they begun to take humanoid form and land on the ground. Alistair could only pant and fall to one knee. From the corner of his eye he notice a strange stone mask basking in the radiance of the sun with a really beautiful stone in the forehead of it. With that all he did was shrug his shoulders at it.

Soren continued to speak to him and for Caius his words were encouraging. Maybe it didn't matter that he didn't know what he was, he had his friends and Soren understood what he was going through. Soren had endured it all his life so he must have known how to deal with it, his words proved that.

He took the elder's words to heart and he raised his head slowly and looked up at Soren. The shivering stopped and for the first time since entering the training room Caius smiled softly and nodded at Soren before grabbing his hand and pulled himself up. "thanks Soren...lets head back shall we?" Caius said. He was sort of nervous to return back to the bedroom and face Cal. He really hoped Anna had given the gift already without him.

"You arrogant asshole, shoving all of your dirty work onto us!" Samuel snapped in a relatively calm manner. Danel rolled his eyes. It wasn't the first time he handed out dirty work that this bunch so diligently obeyed. "What, afraid you'll get yourself killed trying to off her, or are you hoping that will happen to us if we go to stop her?"

Danel shrugged looking indifferent as ever. "Please. I could care less if Lu kills me. No need to get so excited Sam. It's not like I broke my promise. I said no harm would come to Xathanael here. No one harmed her here. She was brought safely to Harbonah's room in the palace where she would have remained just fine had you not pulled that stunt."

"Get to the point Danel. Your time freeze is wearing off and so is our patience." Ariel chimed in.

"I'm just saying it's an opportunity for us all to work together towards a unified goal is all. We need Temeluchas gone and so do you. Would you rather have one enemy, or two? Think about it." He saluted before disappearing.
