He stood and endured the sudden pain he felt to the best of his ability. Coming down to such a hazardous place was slowly taking its effect, but Alistair stood strong as ever. The smoke was strong and the flames were burning hot, but he refused to falter, it really sucked being in a human body. It was funny to him, the more and more he spoke to Temeluchas like this, the more interesting things became.

She spoke of betrayal already and she wished to know if he wanted to be a part of it. His words were no lies in the slightest and though it was true Danel taught informed him of his angelic nature, Temeluchas was the one he had been under all his journey. His debt belonged to her and not to the dark angel that had yet to even show himself before him. What she planned to do next in this endeavour was up to Lu, after all she was the mistress in the relationship.

He could help but raise an eyebrow at her suddenly calling her brave (albeit she did call him stupid as well). Such praise was rare from her and it showed how things were changing. She began to speak and after her last words a sense of nostalgia flood in. Memories of his time in Ireland filled him and began to play back all the things that had led him to this moment. "Why yes....you are the most prettiest thing I have ever set eyes upon" Alistair said without any form of mockery or scorn as he stared down at her.

Lu stared at him in disbelief. There was not hint of sarcasm present and the look on his face was genuine. She hadn't been prepared for that kind of response, because no one ever responded in that way. Temeluchas was dumbstruck and there was a crack in her composure as she tried to figure out what to say. Her brows knit together in confusion and she retracted her arms, turning away from him.​

The smoke was becoming thick but it bothered her little. It wouldn't be long before it overpowered Alistair, though. She was prepared to watch him burn like the vermin kept in this basement and then laugh as the life was sucked out of him. Now, she wasn't sure what to do. She opened her mouth to call him names, but no sound would come out. The muscles in her shoulders tensed and she gnawed at her lower lip. Temeluchas turned back around to face Alistair, looking miffed. She reached out to grab his wrist and rolled her eyes. "Come on. I wouldn't want you to suffocate to death ..." she mumbled before mist swirled around them. ​

It cleared and they were standing in her large open bedroom. There were scorch marks on the walls and the drapery was torn. One of the bed posts had been snapped in half and the sheets were in shreds. A lantern hung sideways, still blazing with the dark fire that lit her room. Lu dropped Alistair's wrist and stepped away from him. With a snap of her fingers, the room corrected itself, restoring matters to how they once were. She turned to face him with her lips pursed. "You can go back to staying here if you'd like. Your room will take some time to fix."​

The guy seemed to take a moment to think before pointing to the crimson fires in his hand. "PUT OUT YOUR FLAMES." Sam followed his instructions and extinguished his flames before the other one pointed to the ground. "START A FIRE ON YOUR OWN. IF YOU CHEAT I'LL KNOW -- NO LIGHTERS, NO MATCHES, NO POWERS. YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CHANNEL YOUR ENERGY INTO CREATING THINGS. WE DEPEND ON OUR ABILITIES LIKE THEY ARE AN EXTENSION OF OUR BODY; ONE OF OUR LI --" He paused, some kind of painful thought crossing his mind. "--LIMBS. YOU NEED TO TRY AS IF YOU WERE NOT A FIRE USER. IF YOU GET FRUSTRATED OR HOTHEADED YOU FAIL. YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR COOL."

Sam looked at him dumbfounded. Manually start a fire? That sounded simple enough. "Uh... Okay..." He gathered some sticks, some withered stuff, and whatever else he needed to start a fire from the surrounding area. After taking time to arrange things the way he needed them, he started to vigorously twirl the stick in between his hands against the wood below. He had seen people do this plenty of times on TV. It didn't seem like something he had to think about too hard.

Despite his continued efforts, nothing had started, not even a little smoke. What the hell? This was getting to be really tedious, and even though he continued nothing was starting. Not even a faint glow of orange that signified an ember existed yet. He was trying his best not to get frustrated and just keep going about it diligently. It was taking everything he had to keep from blowing the wood into kingdom come, but after several more labored hours of nothing, he couldn't take it anymore. He kicked the wood into the distance, sticking it into a nearby tree. "Dammit!"​

Adam read what Kai wrote on the board and held up his finger to signal for one second as he responded to Cora, ‷ No, we are all set. Thank you though. ‴ he paused, ‷ Alright, goodbye. ‴ Adam hung up the phone and shook his head before looking back to Kai. ‷ I have no idea. So far this is the first time I have seen a recruitments take more that a day... mine doesn't count... ‴ What did that mean? Adam took a breath and spoke, ‷ I could try and call Jun Tae to see what is up there. Do you want an update on what's going on there? ‴​

Kai shook his head no. To be frank, he kind of liked the solace that was sitting in the hospital. Granted, he was in pain, but this was the most relaxing time he had since he left Germany. If only he didn't have to break a couple ribs to experience it. Unfortunately, he would probably be out of here by the time the others got back. The doctor was thoroughly surprised by how quickly he was healing. The entire staff said that it seemed downright impossible. They obviously had never come in contact with anyone that was hosting an angel.​

Does that mean you are finally coming to terms with it?​

Kai rolled his eyes and sighed. It was becoming more difficult to deny what was so blatantly laid out for him. He glanced over to Adam, then up at the television again. Kai didn't even remember what the program was, on it. His lips made a popping noise as he smacked them together. There was a dull humming in the back of his head, probably from his angel and he sighed inwardly. Fine. What do you want? he groaned.​

Would you like to learn or continue to be useless?​

He didn't want anything to do with all of this, and yet here he was -- sitting in a hospital bed with an angel talking in his head. Kai felt that he belonged in a psych ward.​

Is that so? So you'd rather continue to look childish scribbling on a whiteboard like a kid with his tonsils removed? You can talk to them, if you accept me.​

He clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth and studied Adam. His hand moved for the marker and then stopped. Could this Dumah guy really make him be able to talk to the others? He had felt it a couple of times. That powerful voice in his head reached out to the minds of the others. It was painful.​

It is only painful because you suppress me. I have to force my voice out of your mind. Do you accept my help?​

There was silence in his head for a minute when he finally nodded. A chill ran down his spine and he shivered in pain. Kai lifted his reddish - brown gaze to Adam's blue one and a hopeful expression crossed his face. He pressed his lips together and his heart rate quickened slightly. Adam ... Can you hear me?​

LEON[/url] COULDN'T THINK OF A MORE BORING THING THAN WATCHING SAM ATTEMPT TO START A FIRE FOR HOURS WITH ONLY NATURE - GIVEN RESOURCES. THERE WERE A COUPLE POINTS IN TIME WHERE THINGS HAD BECOME RATHER HUMOROUS, BUT HE DID NOT LAUGH. SAM HAD TO LEARN CONTROL -- PLAIN AND SIMPLE. THIS WAS A WAY TO PRACTICE THAT. WITHOUT CONTROL, A SIMPLE CAMPFIRE COULD BECOME A RAGING FOREST FIRE WITH LITTLE EFFORT. AS THE ANGEL OF DESTRUCTION, THE ODDS FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT WERE FAR GREATER. IT WAS BECOMING PAINSTAKINGLY CLEAR AS TIME MOVED ON THAT SAMUEL WAS BECOMING FED UP AND FRUSTRATED. LEON KEPT EXPECTING HIM TO BLAST THE STICKS WITH FLAMES TO PROVE A POINT. HE WAS QUITE SURPRISED TO SEE THE MAN KICK THE WOOD INTO THE DISTANCE, STICKING IT INTO A NEARBY TREE.​

Breathing became even harder with each second that passed. Alistair barely even knew what to expect from the girl in terms of reactions but regardless he immediately turned away from him, causing him to raise an eyebrow in confusion. He was so used to seeing her snap at him and even begin to morbidly slash him up for it, but now she was acting far more differently than he would have thought of.

He blinked as he stared at her back, finding it quite cute in his eyes. The girl was speechless and it was something that he never really saw. At first he merely thought the smoke was making him hallucinate, but it only took a second for him to realize this was reality. It was going to be quite the step for both of them to get used to this new side they were both showing.

Alistair's vision began to blur slightly, but the grasp Temeluchas had on his wrist caught his attention and before he knew it the two were gone from the basement. He blinked his eyes adjusting to the sudden change of location and took a deep sigh as he took in the nice clear air. His eyes glanced around the room, observing the damage be instantly repaired. She made an offer for him to stay in the room and it made him wonder if she actually repaired the room cause he was staying in it now. He looked over at Temeluchas and smiled as he closed his eyes "I always did like staying in this room" Alistair said pleasantly before laying himself on the bed, a bit fatigued from all that had happened.

The pretty boy started to clap slowly at his frustration. It took everything he had to keep from punching the guy out right then and there. "CONGRATULATIONS. YOU LET YOUR ANGER GET THE BEST OF YOU." His hands dropped to his sides as he stopped applauding. "THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS SAMUEL IS SELF - CONTROL, SOMETHING HAY SUN MADE EXPLICITLY CLEAR THAT YOU ARE LACKING." He seemed to think back to something. Judging from how he wrinkled his nose, it couldn't have been a pleasant thought. The mirror shifted back into a pendant after he tapped it. He casually shoved his hands into his pockets before starting to walk away. "TOWN'S THIS WAY."

The walk to the hotel did help his anger subside. Still, the fact that he couldn't do something as simple as start a fire pissed him off. It really made Sam think about how he could start to control himself more. He really didn't have much control over what he did. Many of the things he's done over the course of a few months have been fueled by his wild emotions. That was the root of a lot of the troubles that came lately, too. He let his feelings get the better of him, and that ended up getting Hana pulled into Hell. His anger slowly changed into a self-loathing that left him in a horrible mood.

When they got to the hotel, he took a seat in one of the chairs in the lobby. "It's clear that you really don't like your emotional side. We're finally on the same page on that one." The dark angel spoke.

"I just... Hate that I can't control that part of me."

"Hopefully with Ariel's help, that will change." It seemed like Abaddon was feeling talkative. "Listen, what you're doing right now, all of this moping and whining, that's you letting your emotions get the better of you. You want to stop letting your emotions be in control? Then stop acting like this." Though his words were harsh, they rang true. "I could never really understand human hearts, but you'd do well to go over and talk to Xathanael. That may put you in a better mood than you are now."

"Are you saying that to get me stop this self-hatred?" He asked the angel flatly.

"Yes. Your foul mood is irritating me," Abaddon spat out bluntly.

"I got it, I got it..." Reluctantly, he got out of the chair and went to look for Hana. Hopefully, a chat with her would put him in a better mood.​

 

Richard had been training with Maalik for the grand majority of the day. The two constantly made back and forths at each other in an attempt to surpass the other. Granted, Maalik was still going rather easily on Richard, simply because his full power was that of an angel which would have totally destroyed the man. Richard continued to slash with his flaming saber at the man to absolutely no avail, all while trying to mix in his new found hellfire mist attack. However, Maalik was still too fast for him and as such, was able to consistently block each blade strike and dissolve each hellfire mist strike. At the end of the session Richard had been pouring off some sweat and was quite done. So, Maalik feeling like the day was accomplished, let Richard go. As such, Richard soon made his way to bed and fell asleep there.

Lu[/url] stood there with her back turned to Alistair. She still didn't know how to react to this all. All of the rage she had been building up and releasing had just been sucked out of her with what he said. "I always did like staying in this room." she heard him comment before laying down on the bed.​

​

She turned back around and walked slowly over to the bed. If this was just some sort of trick to side blind her, she wasn't having any of it. He wouldn't get the better of her. If it was just for sex, then he was truly just like all the other foolish human males. Lu reached the edge of the bed and crawled on. She sat on her knees, eying him skeptically. "This is a peculiar and sudden change. I'll have you know that I still don't fully believe you to have any intentions to do as I say."​

Alistair's eyes closed as the smile on his face grew. "And I don't blame you for feeling like that... hell, even I would have a shitload of doubts... but honestly, I really have no reason to disobey you... I told you I already had my fun, any more of it and its just plain old sad really." Alistair said nonchalant.​

​

Lu raised a brow before sighing in defeat. She held out her hand demandingly. "Give me your arm." When he obeyed, she rolled up his sleeve slowly and ran her thumbnail along his forearm. "If you can keep your mouth shut while I feed, I'll reward you." Temeluchas pursed her lips at him before bringing his arm up to her mouth.​

It was a very, very long drive.... About twelve hours to be exact. It just reminded Elsie of being trapped in that storm shelter in Australia. She hated to be confined to one place for a very long time, it got on her nerves quickly. Nonetheless, Elsie made herself busy by doing many more writing prompts until her hand hurt. And even then she tried to write a bit more until she got car sick and had to look at the road for a while. Lauren didn't punch the car anymore, which was a good thing, she guessed. She wondered how the girl was going to get her pent up anger out though.​

​

Soon, the gang arrived late at night, back to the hotel they were staying at previously. When they got there, Elsie learned that Brandon and Kai got in a car accident and were at the hospital recovering. Both were sore, but fine, which was a relief to her. Still, she was eager to see the both of them to make sure they were okay. She couldn't go right now like she wanted to because visiting hours were way over, but she made a note to go there first thing in the morning after waking up and getting ready for the day. After telling Will he could share a room with her or one of the others, Elsie made her way to her bed and flopped down, exhausted from the trip, and fell asleep.​

The doubt was still there, it was something that was going to be quite difficult to get rid of, but he was in no real rush. To rush would imply that he needed her to trust him as soon as possible and that was definitely not the case. His words were true, in the sense that merely picking on Lu held no value anymore. He had finally made his decision and though this decision had not been made the way he thought it would be, he knew it was something he wouldn't regret.

He raised an eyebrow at her odd request, but did not say a word as he did as she told and raised his arm up towards her. When she began to roll up his sleeve, it became apparent about what she was going to do and Alistair merely closed his eyes calmly as she brought his arm towards her mouth allowing her access to his blood. He found it quite surprising that the humour had vanished, it was something he noticed when she dug her nail into his chest a moment ago.

The draining of his blood ended had soon enough ended and Alistair merely let out a sigh "Well that was a rush, and now for that reward you told me about...you really don't have to" Alistair said, his eyes remaining closed as a calm smile spread across his face

Lu wiped the blood off her chin and looked at him with her good eye at him. "Good Pets deserve to be treated."

With a soft chuckle Alistair merely closed his eyes and shook his head before opening his eyes and stared back at her. "Well then...if you insist" Alistair said before the two began the rewarding period. With it over and done the two were fast asleep.


Meanwhile back in the operating room Regulus look on at a small monitor with his arms crossed as he sat upon a chair. The transmission was now blurred, but the man sat there with his hand cupping his chin in thought as he stared at the screen with his dull eyes. "Hmmm...fascinating...Alistair's luck is simply remarkable...though a dull end unfortunately..." Regulus said raising up to his feet before walking off to his room and drifted off to sleep in his bed.

The rest of the day was uneventful for Cora. She told Henrik about her training with Arariel and how difficult it was. Henrik told her to not let her angel too hard, but Cora felt like she didn't want to piss off the one she was hosting in her body. Or was that the other way around? She spent the rest of the day with the pair, making them brunch and chatting away about this and that. She could see the sadness in both of their eyes, knowing that the two of them were still in mourning about losing their children they haven't even seen. Cora could relate to that, even though it had been many years since the doctors ripped her stillborn child from her womb to save her life. She never got into the details of that event and instead focused on happier, meaningful things to talk about.​

When it was dinner time, Cora took the couple to a wonderful restaurant in West Port (mostly because she didn't want to have to do any more dishes), and then when they got home, Cora had a drinking contest with Henrik. Of course, the alcohol hardly did anything to her at all. After she made sure her guests were comfortable, Cora disappeared in her room, read another chapter in her Jane Eyre novel, and then reluctantly, went to sleep. As soon as she passed out, she was met with Arariel in another training session that would last the whole night long.​

Adam entered the hotel room at the end of the day recalling everything that had happened in the hotel after his conversation with Cora on the phone. Kai had... somehow talked into his head. That was something he definitely was not expecting. At first he was a bit concerned because the last person he expected the voice to be was Kai. Hell he thought it was more likely for Semyaza to have switched to a guy or something.​

​

At least he knew now that he should expect unexpected things more.​

​

The two had talked for a while, there was something he sensed in Kai's voice as he spoke, as if he really did not want Adam there. He could see why but at the same time it kind of hurt him a bit. At least conversations moved faster when he had a voice.​

​

When visiting hours were over he said goodbye, and forgot to check up on Brandon. He just couldn't seem to figure out a way to manage the time between Brandon and Kai. At least this wouldn't be a regular thing for much longer.​

​

When he was in the hotel room, he noticed Richard no longer had stacks of items on his body. Good. That meant the man was still alive, or in a coma. After that observation Adam collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep. ​

 

In which ever sleeping arrangements were brought upon the two White siblings, they both went to bed, feeling emotionally exhausted.

Most of the long car ride for Logan was spent with him sleeping. It was what he always did when he was traveling long places. Doing that definitely helped pass the time and block out any unwanted sounds, like a door being punched for example. By the time he'd opened his eyes, they were almost at the hotel so he decided just to wait the rest of the way out.

Upon getting to the hotel, Logan went ahead to a room and climbed into the bed. There were still a few thoughts floating around in his head, but he dismissed those and soon fell asleep.​

 

​

Will was pissed, he was very pissed, he was immensely pissed. For twelve hours he sat in a rental car with his eyes closed and arms crossed as a scowl remained upon his little face for the full trip. He thought that this trip was at least going to be sensible, that this group he chose to travel along with would at least be a sensible one and that it may even possibly be even fun, but this was not the case in the slightest.

That psycho woman...back at the hotel he had a very pleasant conversation with Elise but then all of a sudden they were dragged off about in mid-conversation and before he even knew it he was off to god knows where (speaking of god, he totally blames him for this). The got into a car when all of a sudden the psycho began wailing on the door for some stupid reason. He could only sigh at it and return to his scowly nature.

After twelve dreadful hours, they had at last been set free from the confines of the car and he was now temporarily free from being near the psycho girl. With a sigh, he stretched his little body as he walked ahead into the hotel ahead. Elsie walked up to him and offered him a room to share with her and Will immediately agreed with haste. "Anything to get away from that psycho girl..." William muttered under his breath as he head into the room he would share with Elsie and head off to sleep.

DAY: 54 - 5/5 | DATE: November 14th, 2013 [Thursday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Stanley, Falkland Island

The events of the day were slowly setting in as he lay on his bed. An extreme soreness assaulted all of his joints because of all of the healing and pressure earlier. Dealing with those kinds of situations was not pleasant in the slightest. He had never seen anyone die right in front of him, even if it was for a few moments. It was absolutely terrifying. Even with his ability to heal and knowledge of CPR, he had no idea if it would actually work. His inexperience with healing made him doubt he could do it. It brought worlds of relief to him when she came back to life.

After taking a nice, relaxing bath, he jumped into his bed and fell asleep.​

Lauren had wrapped up her hand in bandages during the ride and had fixed it up. No one seemed to be paying attention at that point and she was a bit sad about it. She may have been a destructive spirit but at least she knew how to take care of people's health when things went wrong. ​

​

People seemed to avoid her because of it, and it started to get to her a bit. This was the group that came to recruit her, and all she did was punch a door. She had already heard about worse things and Lauren punching a car rental door was enough to claim a person insane? She hadn't even talked to Will yet.​

​

When they got to the hotel, Lauren ended up staying in a room alone where she barely slept but still managed to get some sleep. ​
