Adam had been sitting in the hotel room for a few hours, slowly stacking things on top of Richard. It was a fairly large pile at this point and he was already getting bored. He then remembered he had not checked up on Kai the other day when he meant to. He just got completely distracted.
Adam grabbed his backpack and pulled one of the fresh apples he had bought out of his bag and ate it as he headed towards the hospital.
When he got there, Adam had to wait a bit before they would let him in. When he entered the room Kai had looked at him and he waved at him and spoke, "guten Morgen." he walked closer and said, "That's the most I remember from Germany."
Adam walked over and took a seat on a chair by the bed, "Sorry to hear about this accident. I definitely wasn't expecting this... well... you probably weren't eithe- OH." Adam opened up the bag and pulled out a mini whiteboard and an assortment of different colored dry/erase markers.
He got up and handed them to Kai and spoke, "At least with this it doesn't get destroyed in water." he placed his hands in his pocket and continued, "I would have gotten a phone for you but none of the rich ones are here at the moment. But I hope it still works... how are you feeling?"

Was she feeling bad about how he reacted to her explanation? If that was the case then that would have made him quite bad about the manoeuvre he pulled that day. The shame would have built up and even the guilt would have brought him restless nights. The topic changed from her nervousness over to Joslyn and he was glad to see Elsie wasn't at least as nervous as her. "yes, a sweet girl I will help out with her nerves" Will said crossing his arms.

The whole situation bugged him still, he was still unable to get the thought out of his mind and the guilt was still there. "Oi...whats troubling you?" William said closing his eyes once more. "If your feeling bad about what happened that day you really shouldn't. Your tale was hard to believe, but I was hardly scared of you in the slightest" William said with a sigh. "It was all a simple diversion to get away...overreaction yes...but a diversion none the less" William said.

"I've met many weird people and to be honest your story was bizarre as hell. I still don't fully believe in your words but it sure as hell beats searching for a job" William said closing his eyes with another sigh. "There really arent many ways of telling the story without freaking out the listener so I don't want you beating up yourself over what happened...alright girly?" William said

IF A TREE FALLS IN THE FOREST AND THERE IS NO ONE AROUND TO HEAR IT, DOES IT STILL MAKE A SOUND? THAT WAS SUCH A STUPID QUESTION.
HUMANS LEON GOT TO HIS FEET AND PULLED CONTEGO OUT OF THE GROUND. HE FIGURED THE SOURCE OF THE DOWN TREES WOULD BE HAY SUN. HE WAS THOROUGHLY SURPRISED TO FIND SAMUEL INSTEAD. LEON STABBED CONTEGO INTO THE GROUND AND SAT DOWN BESIDE THE LARGE MEXICAN MAN LAYING ON THE GROUND. "ARE YOU WALLOWING TOO?" HE ASKED. IT WAS PRETTY PLAIN TO SEE. PLUS, FROM ALL OF HAY SUN'S SHOUTING, HE COULD SURMISE THAT SAMUEL SHARED SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH HIMSELF.

"WELCOME TO THE PITY PARTY." HE LAY ON HIS BACK WITH HIS HANDS BEHIND HIS HEAD. LEON WENT BACK TO STARING UP AT THE SKY, THINKING ABOUT THE WORLD HE LEFT BEHIND. "I DON'T APOLOGIZE FOR INTRUDING -- IN CASE YOU WANTED TO BE ALONE." HE GLANCED TO HIS LEFT AT THE SIDE OF THE OTHER MAN'S FACE, THEN BACK UP AT THE SKY. "WE'RE IN A SIMILAR BOAT. YOU BLAME YOURSELF FOR XATHANAEL. I BLAME MYSELF FOR PURIEL. HAY SUN IS HURTING BECAUSE I GOT HER INVOLVED IN ALL OF THIS. XATHANAEL IS GOOD AT HIDING HER FEELINGS, BUT THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING UP WITH HER. SHE SEEMS TOO HAPPY FOR HAVING DIED."

LEON REACHED FOR CONTEGO AND IT TURNED BACK INTO A PENDANT. HE HELD IT ABOVE HIS FACE AND WATCHED HIS PARTNER SPIN IN CIRCLES. "I THINK HAY SUN SECRETLY HATES ME, OR AT LEAST RESENTS ME. SHE'S TOO PRIDEFUL TO SAY ANYTHING, BUT I WOULDN'T BLAME HER IF SHE DID." HE TAPPED CONTEGO AND IT TRIED TO TURN INTO A SHIELD. LEON SPUN THE PENDANT FASTER WITH THE TIP OF HIS FINGER. "XATHANAEL REQUIRES A GENTLE TOUCH -- ONE YOU DO NOT POSSESS. I COULD HELP YOU. ONE OF US SHOULD BE HAPPY AND I COULD TEACH YOU HOW TO UTILIZE YOUR FLAMES IN A POSITIVE MANNER." HE GLANCED TO SAMUEL, THEN BACK TO THE PENDANT WHICH WAS NOW ENCOMPASSED IN GOLDEN FLAMES. "WITH ABADDON'S HELP OF COURSE." HE ADDED FOR GOOD MEASURE.

THE sound of Hay Sun's voice over the phone was unnerving and surprising. Jun Tae hadn't ever heard someone sound so shaky and calm at the same time. She talked deliberately, as if her tongue might have twisted itself if she went to fast and emphasized on every point that things were stable and Hana was alive. Jun Tae knew this; she had been on the brink of death, and Michael, who is always rather selfish and self-righteous, offered her place back in Paradise.

Michael never did that for anyone.

Jun Tae, she said slowly, grabbing his attention once more. I need to do something about my hand.

He frowned slightly. Your hand? What's wrong with it?

I fucked it up when we were saving Leon in Paris. He tried to heal it then, but it didn't work. This is really no joke . . . I can't use it anymore. she explained somberly.

Jun Tae leaned back in the chair and gave a good bit of thought for a few minutes while listening to the slightest hitching of her breath from time to time, as if she was sniffing and recovering from a long fit of crying. He didn't know what she was crying for, though he was extremely tempted to ask. Do you want my advice? he eventually asked.

If you're going to tell me to wait, then no. I can't wait anymore, Jun Tae. It's dead.

I wasn't going to tell you to wait. he replied calmly. Only do this if you're absolutely sure. I have an incantation for you, but if you mess it up, it's going to be bad. In fact, I would rather talk to Uriel, if I could. He expected some sort of protest, but his sister just sighed in resignation and Jun Tae knew that there was something wrong, and it was more than stress about Hana's life.

What is it, Raziel? The other angel seemed strangely subdued.

I'm going to tell you the incantation now, so please listen closely.

Raziel began to clearly recite a prayer in an ancient tongue, and when he was done, he double-checked with Uriel.

This is a very old spell, Raziel. Are you sure of its effects?

Spells never grow old and are only improved. I wouldn't teach it to you if I was wrong about it. You'll have to be patient with Hay Sun come the time. She's in a delicate state right now, and I don't expect her to sway so easily to this.

His reply was a noncommittal hum. Hay Sun, call me back when you're done.

Jun Tae . . . ? she started tentatively. I'm . . . You don't think I'm . . . Am I okay?

What sort of question was that, Jun Tae asked himself. Hay Sun was never like this; unsure of herself, nervous, worried about what others thought of her. He was no guardian, and this was way out of his league. He wasn't parent material, role model material, human material. So he said the only thing he could. You're alive.

There was no reply, and then the line went dead. He felt his heart almost thumping in his chest. He had been somewhat afraid of this and knew it was coming; his sister was becoming unraveled.

He might have been, too.

Watching the blade pierce the demon and have it struggle made Alistair chuckle softly, but in a mere instant chuckle faded and his face grew serious. A feeling he had never felt before had finally shown itself to him and it really brought a sense of dread for him...

You felt it....didn't you?

yeah...what is it?

Somebody has died...

Alistair could only narrow his eyes and grit his teeth. The blade coming from his chest had retract back into his chest and the demon that was once impaled now rest on the floor flailing about. He could only pay little heed to the being on the floor as he noticed Mali enter the room. What was it about this death that affected him so? it was a nostalgic feeling, one that was weak, but stronger than the other feelings of death. People died all the time, but why was this death so noticeable? Was the increase in powers the cause of this? "Regulus, I need to check something...lets go" Alistair said walking ahead not check if Regulus was following or not "You kiddos continue to train or something" Alistair said calmly walking out.

The attitude he noticed of Alistair was quite the uncommon one, but he knew something was up, something that may intrigue the professor quite a deal. The demons were meant to be a weak play toy so there was no loss in abandoning them and leaving them for the nephilim. The two were out of the room and Alistair began to run down the halls with Regulus following close by.

Without hesitation Alistair rushed into the room of the nephilim and immediately gazed around it. Anna was there and Caius was fast asleep. "....no not here..." Alistair muttered as he turned around. "It doesn't make sense...the kids are alright....unless" Alistair muttered to himself before a thought came up and rushed past Regulus who had been standing by the door way and immediately swung the doors to the operating room and narrowed his eyes "...what the?" Alistair muttered

Walking in after Alistair, Regulus in turn raised an eyebrow and noticed what had caused Alistair to react like he did. "This is...surprising" Regulus said walking up to the corpse of Jehoel and begun to examine it "just what reason did Jehoel have to die...and for the matter who killed him? Didn't he have a purpose in all this chaos....that is unless that purpose is over....but even so..." Regulus began to ponder.

"Weeeeeeell this make no sense" Alistair said with a sigh as he leaned against a nearby wall and stared off at the corpse. "It could have been Danel or Temeluchas...but still does this mean they found Leviathan? That is the only sensible reason I can see" Alistair muttered crossing his arms before reaching into his pockets and held up a jar "curiosity is such a weird thing...best return this..." Alistair said before leaving the room and head down the hallway until he reached Danel's room. Raising his fist he knocked on the door and awaited an answer.

There was a knock and he rose to his feet. Danel opened the door to his room, bloody and bruised. He hadn't bothered to change his clothes in the last few days. His shirt was stained crimson and torn. His eye was black. The feathers on his right wing was stripped barren. There was a deep gash on his cheek and he eyed Alistair with squinted brown eyes. His brows knit together and he pressed his lips into a hard line. "What an unpleasant surprise." he commented.

Alistair closed his eyes quite uncomfortable but chose to talk regardless. "I told Azrael I'll try to stop being an ass so I'm staying silent...." Alistair said holding up the jar, "Here is your heart.... dunno why Jehoel was killed, but it looks like you're not in such a good form to speak about it..." Alistair said with a sigh.

Danel reached for the jar, but stopped with his arm extended out. He raised a brow in confusion and licked his upper lip. "What do you mean Jehoel was killed?"

Alistair looked back at Danel in confusion "What? Jehoel was killed a moment ago...A stab to the heart and a slash to both the wrists and neck..."

His eyes widened. Something had felt wrong, he just didn't know what. Apparently, this was it. "I didn't know. I felt it -- there was something wrong -- but I didn't know." He snatched the jar out of Alistair's hand and started to shut the door, but hesitated. "Lu hasn't been the same since we got back from France. I would watch your back." He shut the door in the man's face and slumped down to the floor.

Alistair had not been expecting this in the slightest. Was Danel not informed about the whole incident? or maybe this wasn't something that was suppose to happen. The heart was taken away from him and Alistair was left with a warning before the door was shut closed. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes with a sigh before walking over towards the operating room once more.

You've incurred Temeluchas' wrath...though I will applaud you this is hardly a good situation we are in...

Yeah...that ***** is always a pain in the ass...

Just keep Danel's words in mind...

Right...

The end to this whole entire mess was slowly coming to an close and it was now that Alistair had to be on his guard otherwise he would soon find himself waking up as a mere infant, devoid of all the memories that he had obtained. He let out a sigh and shook his head with a smile before returning back to the operating room and took a seat. "Regulus...be on guard...you have what I suggested right?...be wary of Temeluchas" Alistair said pulling out a sheathed knife and played with it was a soft smile.

All Regulus could do was merely nod at the aristocrat as he move on to continue his examination of the corpse. It was disappointing that he would have to avoid Temeluchas now, she was his supplier which meant things would be much harder to obtain now. Luckily he had all that he really needed at moment so it wasn't a complete waste at moment, but still, things were going to get very interesting.

After hearing what Will had said, Elsie felt very foolish. How silly of her to think that Will would think less of her. It was strange, the explanation yes, but he seemed to have taken to it now. He was just trying to protect himself just in case they were crazy lunatics. She giggled when Will called her girly and shook her head. "I'm sorry, sometimes I just over think and it gets me to thinking of things that aren't actually true or there... You know?" She sighed and leaned back on the couch, just happy that Will was apologizing to her and told her that she was alright. "I was just worried. I'm new to this whole thing too believe it or not." She looked up at Will and patted the seat next to her on the couch, offering him a place to sit beside her. "Just a few days ago, I was trapped in a rain storm in Australia... I wanted to go back to Sydney, but it rained so much, there was this huge lake that made it impossible for cars to go through. And then after the rain water drained away, there was this earthquake that split this whole hotel I was staying at in half! And it led right to... Lauren's house... And it stopped close to her porch steps." Elsie shook her head, not believing her own words that were coming out of her mouth. "It was just so weird... Someone then told me I would be safer with this group. That's why I came along... Maybe I was afraid, but at the same time I love adventure. I love to write stories." She stopped herself and giggled. "I'm sorry, I ramble a lot." Andela was silent, listening to her mortal speak. She knew that Elsie had it in her. She was just ridiculously afraid over nothing. Silly humans.

Soren lowered his fists as he turned to watch Alistair and Regulus leave himself and Cal to fend off the remaining beasts they had summoned. 'I wonder where they're going.' It was sudden enough that Soren knew that it meant this had to be important but whatever it was, was it really important enough to follow them and see what was going on? He glanced over at Cal. No. It wasn't. At least watching the adults fight proved useful, it gave Soren the chance to observe how they battled and how they used their powers in a fight. It was no substitute for experience, but it was more than nothing.

He smiled faintly as he watched the blonde. "Are you having f-" Soren was knocked over almost immediately by one of the demons for having his guard down for so long. He skidded back a short distance and clutched his face with right hand, cursing under his breath in frustration at his own foolishness. Just as he started to recover the demon lunged at him. Soren rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding its attack before rising to his feet. Instinctively he thrust out his bloodied hand in some kind of attempt to defend himself. He blinked, watching as the demon fell collapsed after having several small holes punched clean through it.

Soren turned his hand over to find that not a drop of blood was to be seen on it. He touched the small gash on his cheek, wondering what he had just done if he knew he had not used the mist. He looked back over at Cal. Though she had distracted him...by just...being Cal, he was still willing to finish cleaning things up. "Do you want any help?"

Cora waking up so late reminded him of when Lei had begun to reveal himself through a series of dreams of his previous vessel. That strange "dream training" only made him even worse when it came to sleep. Perhaps Cora was going through exactly the same thing. Henrik ran a hand through his hair and shrugged at Cora's question. He had not heard from the others at all for the day and was beginning to wonder if they had been left behind. Though it would not have been too bad considering all the others did was run around recruit angels, they were still his only shot at vengeance. Aside from taking the suicidal route and testing his luck by allowing Lei to fulfill that wish. "As much as you need training, we probably shouldn't stick around here any longer."

He pulled his phone out of his pocket and stared at the screen for a moment. No messages from anyone. 'Maybe they ditched you. I wouldn't blame them. You're poor company.' As if Lei was any better with his attitude. Henrik sighed and stuffed his phone back in his coat before glancing over at Iris. "Would have been a nice vacation in any other situation."

"Maybe..."

"Anyways, are set to leave?"

LOCATION Hospital Westport, New Zealand

Kai lay in his bed, mindlessly watching the television. He had been so incredibly bored since waking up. No one had come to see him, not that he expected them too. Honestly, Kai wouldn't doubt if the others completely forgot about him and left New Zealand while he was just wasting away in a hospital bed. Elsie's notebook was spread open on his lap and he had been periodically thumbing through it when he was utterly dying of boredom. Kai had it open to one of the pages and he glanced up and down between the television and the text. When the sound of the door opening caught his attention, he shut it immediately. Adam entered the room and Kai had looked up at him. Adam gave him a wave before pathetically attempting to greet him in German. Guten Morgen. He walked closer and Kai rolled his eyes. That's the most I remember from Germany. No kidding.

He nodded his head once before looking back up at the television. His only visitor would be the other Brit. Kai really just had the worst of luck. He wasn't a fan of either of the English Blokes.

Adam took a seat on a chair by the bed. Kai glanced over at him, then back up at the TV. Sorry to hear about this accident. I definitely wasn't expecting this... well... you probably weren't eithe- OH. Adam opened up the bag and pulled out a mini whiteboard and an assortment of different colored dry erase markers. Kai cocked a brow and pursed his lips. This was childish. A pen and paper work just fine. He wasn't ten, after all. Adam got up and handed them to Kai before speaking. This felt degrading. At least with this it doesn't get destroyed in water. he placed his hands in his pocket and continued, I would have gotten a phone for you but none of the rich ones are here at the moment. But I hope it still works... how are you feeling?

Kai sighed and uncapped a blue marker, humoring the teen. He might as well ask about Brandon and see how he was doing. The doctor had given him an update, but the kid looked worse off than him during the crash. It was hard to believe the silver - haired Brit managed to luck out with just a few bruises and a concussion.

"ARE YOU WALLOWING TOO?" the voice suddenly came. When he shifted his eyes to see who spoke, he was surprised to see it was the guy he had trouble recognizing. And what the hell did he mean by 'Too'?

"WELCOME TO THE PITY PARTY." The unfamiliar yet familiar man lay down beside him, his hands behind his head. "I DON'T APOLOGIZE FOR INTRUDING -- IN CASE YOU WANTED TO BE ALONE." His eyes seemed to shift to Sam.

The new guy reached for a shield that transformed into a pendant. He wordlessly held it above his face, watching it spin in circles. "I THINK HAY SUN SECRETLY HATES ME, OR AT LEAST RESENTS ME. SHE'S TOO PRIDEFUL TO SAY ANYTHING, BUT I WOULDN'T BLAME HER IF SHE DID." With a simple tap, the pendant tried to change shape. However, Leon spun it faster with the tip of his finger. "XATHANAEL REQUIRES A GENTLE TOUCH -- ONE YOU DO NOT POSSESS. I COULD HELP YOU. ONE OF US SHOULD BE HAPPY AND I COULD TEACH YOU HOW TO UTILIZE YOUR FLAMES IN A POSITIVE MANNER." He glanced over to Sam before looking back to his pendant, which was wrapped in gold colored flames. "WITH ABADDON'S HELP OF COURSE." He quickly added in.

"I'd advise you to accept his help. If you want to be happy, at the very least." The dark angel claimed simply. "Though, if you enjoy wallowing in despair, I could always go back to punishing you by destroying bits and pieces of your body slowly."

"I get you, I get you." He answered in an annoyed manner. Sam slowly pushed himself up into a seated position. "I'd like that." He answered the pale-haired man lying beside him. "Although, between what you're offering and Abaddon's idea of helping, you're the best choice by a landslide." The comment came out flatly. As motivating as the dark angel's idea was, there were plenty of scars on his body as it was. No need to add even more to the collection. "I have no idea how you're going to manage to help me use my powers in a good way, but... I'd like that very much."

A sigh sounded through Sam's mind as he sat there. "Don't get the wrong idea though. Training on your attacking capabilities will not drop in favor of weakening yourself. I'm still going to work you to the bone to make you a suitable vessel."

"Of course."

"Actually, this is worlds better now, since we have Raphael on hand to heal your wounds. Like this, I can effectively double your training per day." The angel said in thought.

"What?! Isn't that a bit much?" Sam was not pleased by the idea of what doubled training with Abaddon would be like.

Most of everything that Hay Sun was doing was Uriel carrying her body weight. For now, she just couldn't find the will to go on. She was so tired. Jun Tae, she knew, wasn't supposed to be her reassurance, he had no obligation to be that, but . . . It would have been nice.

You're alive.

Sure, but for how long and for what real reason?

All of the adrenaline that she might have relied on earlier was gone and left her at the bottom of a valley, and she knew this was going to be completely awful. There was no room to complain because this was something she had to do, otherwise she would remain useless and her already budding self-hate would grow and be seeded even deeper.

Are you ready? Uriel asked her, and he sounded comforting and strangely human.

Swallowing thickly, Hay Sun gave a numbed nod and then raised her left hand. Suddenly riled by the fact that Jun Tae hadn't said the right words, the fact that she couldn't ever trust Sam again, the fact that Hana thought she needed a break or something, Hay Sun practically pierced her right hand with her fiery eyes.

At first, it was just a tingling sensation, but it rapidly grew into millions of needles stabbing at her upper wrist and down to her finger tips. The smell of burning flesh crashed against her nostrils and it took steel will to not keel over and vomit. Her concentration was all on the fire, teal and bright, searing off layers and layers of skin faster than she could even hope to keep track of.

She hissed through her teeth, breathing in staccato breaths that were heavy and fast while she tried to deal with the immense pain that her own hellfire caused. This wasn't something she could deal with on a daily basis. The only thing keeping her from screaming and collapsing to the ground like a heap of body was Uriel, who continued to mutter in a rather soothing tone that she might have fallen asleep to if she didn't feel like she wanted to die at the moment.

The heels of her boots dug clean into the ground as the hellfire eventually seared through the layers of muscle and started licking at her bone, which she could now clearly see. It was a surreality that tried to force her to come to terms with the fact that she wasn't human.

She stomped her feet into the ground, creating a small crater at least three to four meters in diameter. Who needs to be human anyway! she screamed in her mind. Her live hand went for her back pocket and whipped out her sword, which conveniently took the form of a hacksaw. The fire began to mix with the blood that was now freely waterfalling out of the gaping wound that was her missing skin and muscle and started turning a putrid lavender color. She forcefully logged the blade of the saw into her bone, hissed at the contact of her fire with her other hand and then violently began to yank back and forth.

No, not the bone. We need that. Uriel told her, forcing her to stop. Her sword returned to its neutral shape of a bat as it clattered to the ground. Rest now.

Hay Sun clattered to the ground in a heap and the fire snuffed out as the blood continued to pool out of her wound. Just as quickly as she had dropped, Uriel stood up and looked at the missing skin and muscle and quickly and effectively used the hellfire in a more controlled manner to seal off the wound by melting the skin and area around it into a stub that the bond seemed to grow out of.

Quickly recalling the spell that Raziel had taught him moments ago, he started shooting off ancient Latin as his eyes flashed. Threads of a metallic black liquid began to emerge from the stub of pale skin and weave themselves together to form layers and layers of a new skin. They strung around and through the bone as layers were being built to create a new shell of skin.

The process was sluggish but effective as new nerves laced with old magic and power seeped through the metallic black. The finger tips were next and the ribbons of liquid careened around the skeleton hand to be what was once a hand. Soon, Uriel was looking at a hand that could have passed for a glove; the only obvious sign that it wasn't was that Hay Sun's pale skin seemed to melt into a dark silvery material with intricate, swirling designs spiraling around and about until they reached the finger tips of the new appendage.

Uriel flexed a few times and it felt normal to him, but would possibly take a while for Hay Sun to get used to. With the new hand, he picked up his sword. The two seemed to be composed of the same material, but the sword, Veraculum, was a few shades lighter. It took its true form which was as an elegantly designed sword with a complex hilt instead of a metal baseball bat.

Hay Sun blinked as thick blood was pooled in the crater she had created earlier and clung to her face, some of her clothing, boots, and hair. In her hand was her baseball bat and her eyes widened at her left hand, which the bat was rested in. It was . . . almost beautiful. She watched as her own skin seemed to lacily turn into a strange silvery black. Bringing up her hand to feel the other, her fingers ran across the strange material and it felt cold to the touch, but so much so that it burned.

What the hell kind of spell was that . . .❞ she murmured to herself as blood continued to drip from her hair and face.

Cora nodded her head to Henrik. “I packed. Leaving things behind. No time to sell them." She wanted to get a move on as quick as possible. If war was fast approaching, they needed to be ready and soon. Arariel had embedded that in her mind over and over again. Though it was just the first night of training, she felt like she had been doing this for many years. Perhaps centuries. Why did the Fallen forget all this time? Why were memories suddenly flooding back into their minds now of all times? It seemed so abstract and strange. It was like they had one purpose in this life. Would the Fallen have their own bodies after all of this was over? Or would they still be enslaved to human vessels, going around for centuries trying to figure out what in the world to do next?

Sighing out, Cora pulled out her phone and told Henrik she was going to call Adam (since she only had his number to contact) and dialed him in. Maybe he knew what they were doing next. The longer they stayed in one place, the worse off everyone would be.

After his words it seemed to have remedied the situation they were in and immediately William began to smile the moment he noticed her giggle. She admit that she was new to this whole entire scenario as well so that made things much more clear. Her nervousness was a caused by joining this group and it was something quite reasonable. When she offered him to sit next to her Will gladly accept her invitation and took a seat next to her.

She began to speak about her home and how she was in the flood in Australia. He had heard about that flood and he had also heard about the many tragedies occurring all around the world as well. Maybe they were telling the truth after all, maybe they were all going around trying to stop these events from happening. London, Italy, and Australia...everywhere was falling apart and who knew what was happening in the background.

Regardless of these many thoughts raging in his mind, William still did his best to listen to Elsie speak on. Hearing her admit she liked to babble, William closed his eyes and began to laugh "hah nothing to apologies about my dear, I tend to do the same thing" William said scratching the back of his head. "I will admit that this will make my life A whole shit load more interesting...I mean I've basically been doing nothing but shit so its better that I get my ass in gear" William said ignoring the chance of him dying for now.

Elsie listened to Will and nodded her head in understanding when he said he was trying to get his life together. He seemed like a small lad, but he was pretty mature for his age. Or what looked like his age. Elsie was dying to ask Will how old he really was, but Elsie remembered how annoyed she felt when people asked her for her age at many places. Even though she was twenty-one years old, sometimes she felt like she could pull off looking like a highschooler. It was actually a relief to talk about something normal for once instead of all this Fallen mumbo jumbo. "Heh, I had that same probably years ago, putting my life together, I mean. My parents wanted me to get a job, I wanted to stay home and just write stories, Dad got annoyed with me locking myself away form the world all the time, and boom. He got one of my stories published, and now writing it my job." Elsie was feeling more and more relaxed the more she talked with Will. He wasn't so bad as she thought he was. "So Will, have you lived here in Taupo all your life?" She might as well try to get to know this Fallen. She barely knew about everyone else and didn't know how to carry out many conversations with them. They all seemed grumpy and occupied with other things on their mind. Of course with the crisis of the world ending, she couldn't really blame them at all.

THERE WAS SILENCE WHILE SAMUEL SEEMED TO TALK THINGS OVER WITH HIS ANGEL. "I'd like that." SAMUEL FINALLY REPLIED. LEON NODDED ONCE AND CONTINUED TO SPIN CONTEGO. "Although, between what you're offering and Abaddon's idea of helping, you're the best choice by a landslide." HE SAID FLATLY. "I have no idea how you're going to help me use my powers in a good way, but ... I'd like that very much."

LEON CLENCHED CONTEGO BETWEEN HIS FINGERS AND GOT TO HIS FEET. HE DUSTED HIMSELF OFF AND HELD A HAND OUT TO HELP SAMUEL UP. "OUR POWERS ARE A GIFT, NOT A BURDEN. YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK AT THEM THAT WAY." HE HELD OUT HIS HAND, HIS FINGERS SPREAD, AND GOLDEN FLAMES APPEARED. "FIRE IS DEADLY WHEN MANAGED IMPROPERLY, BUT IT CAN ALSO BE A TOOL. PEOPLE GATHER AROUND FIRES FOR SHELTER. THEY USE IT TO CAUTERIZE THEIR WOUNDS. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE SO A TIME OR TWO." HE POINTED TO SOME OF THE VISIBLE SCARS ON SAM'S BODY. "IT GUIDES US -- GIVES A LIGHT. YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK AT IT WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE THAN YOU ARE USED TO."

HE WASN'T SURE IF THERE WAS REALLY ANY CHANCE AT CHANGING THE WAY ABADDON'S HOST THOUGHT, BUT AT LEAST IT WOULD MAKE FOR A GOOD DISTRACTION FROM HIS OWN TROUBLES. LEON DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT HAY S -- HIS WRIST STARTED TO HURT AND HE BREATHED THROUGH GRITTED TEETH. THE FLAMES WENT OUT AND HIS GOLDEN EYES WERE LOCKED HARD ON THE PENDANT IN HIS HAND. "CONTEGO." HIS PARTNER CHANGED SHAPE INTO A MIRROR AND HE HAD A CLEAR VIEW OF HAY SUN. HE WATCHED IN PAIN AS URIEL PERFORMED A SPELL HE WAS PRETTY SURE THE ARCHANGEL DID NOT KNOW, AND THE PAIN DID NOT SUBSIDE UNTIL IT WAS OVER.

TEARS WELLED IN HIS EYES AND CONTEGO SHIFTED BACK INTO A PENDANT. HE GRIPPED HIS WRIST IN PAIN AND LOOKED UP TO SAMUEL, GUILT BURYING ITSELF DEEPER WITHIN HIM. HAY SUN JUST LOST HER HAND BECAUSE OF HIM. SHE TRIED TO SAVE HIM AND HE BLOCKED HER OUT, RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF HER DOMINANT HAND. THAT WAS JUST ANOTHER THING TO ADD TO THE LIST OF HOW HE HAD WRONGED HER.

WHEN THE PAIN FINALLY SUBSIDED, HE STRAIGHTENED HIMSELF OUT AND FORCED A SMILE. "WHERE WERE WE?" THE FLAMES ENGULFED HIS HAND AND LEON LOOKED READY TO DESTROY SOMETHING. "RIGHT. CONTROL. YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO CHANNEL YOUR FLAMES IN A POSITIVE WAY, AND THEN YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DO THAT WITH THE REST OF YOUR POWERS. THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE FUELED BY AGGRESSION. I'M PRETTY SURE A CERTAIN FALLEN HAS TOLD YOU BEFORE THAT YOU CAN USE DESTRUCTION IN A CONSTRUCTIVE WAY."

Another night had gone by without anything from Samael. Geez the man err angel sure knew how to keep a guy waiting. Those were the first thoughts that went through his head as he awoke. Even if he was to directly ask him, the answer he got was never one that would satisfy him. Making his way to the shower, he tried not to dwell on it too much. He knew that wouldn't solve much besides make him more antsy than he already was.
Once the shower was finished, he stepped out, got dressed and left the room. His mind wasn't as dis focused as it was before. Especially since he figured that Samael was never going to give him a straight answer on this. Hell he still didn't truly understand the purpose of Tier 1 he was being put through. Logan sighed. Hopefully he would get his answers soon enough.
Using the elevator to get to the lobby, it wasn't long before he noticed Elsie and the kid that they'd recently recruited talking. With nothing else to o, he decided to join them. "Yo." He said taking a seat.

Lauren yawned as she finally made it out of the room. She was half awake and started knocking on everyone's doors (even if they were no longer in there) and yelled for them to get up and moving. Lauren went downstairs and saw everyone there and waved at them as she went and ate breakfast alone.
When she finished eating she grabbed everyone and pulled them along constantly repeating, "We're done. We don't need to be here anymooooore."
She assumed people could still continue the conversations in the car so she didn't mind interrupting them. While they continued on their conversations, Lauren pulled out a little sketchbook to draw in. She was still trying to distract herself from Alice, and none of the apparent training was happening yet. Someone mentioned self-training at one point but she had no idea how they did that.
When she zoned out into the sketchpad she kept constantly breaking her pencils, her mechanical pencils were all empty. She decided to just pull out a pen that had multiple color options and attempted with that. She zoned out again and switched her pen to red and drew out a stick figure waving at her and Lauren chuckled and waved back.
She drew out a broken pencil and then her hand switched the pen to a green and drew a patch of grass, it switched to black and she drew out a crack in the ground. Lauren kind of frowned at it, then drew out a poorly drawn version of Alice with the word "hope" over it. Lauren looked confused for a moment and tried to put down the pen because she was getting tired of it, but couldn't.
She sketched out a person holding out their firsts and punching at a wall, then drew the same person punching at another person. Lauren blinked and took one hand and punched the car door in full force next to her and grabbed her hand it pain shouting, "OW!"

Cal was confused as to why Azrael and Sariel were leaving, but their departure lead to Mali's arrival. She smiled and waved at her sister who looked off put by something. A demon came at her and Cal's attention was immediately redirected to the monster. She stabbed the knife upwards into the demon's neck and a flash of white light caused the monster to explode and disappear. They all continued to fight. Her sleeves were rolled up and sweat drenched her clothes. The salty liquid dripped down from her bangs into her eyes and made her visibility limited.

Soren started to say something, but then he was knocked down by another demon. There was a blast and the demon was gone. He got to his feet and turned to her. "Do you want any help?"

She looked at him in disbelief. "It looks like you're the one that needs help Soren."

"Hey Lover - Boy!" They turned to Mali who sent a stream of mist past Soren, knocking down a demon that had been creeping up behind him. "You should watch your back, not Cal's front."

Cal glowered at her sister before throwing the knife into the shoulder off a hellhound. It howled and Mali used the mist to slice off the head of the hellhound. "That's gross."

"Don't be a pansy Cal."

Elsie packed her things up in the car and was seated by Lauren. Finally, they were on their way back to the others with Will in tow. This set her mind at ease and she watched the scenery go by in peace. Though she broke her usual tradition of doing a writing prompt this morning, she didn't mind. She gazed out the window, watching the beautiful scenery go by. No wonder why Cora wanted to stay here. It was all so nice and beautiful here in the land of Kiwis. Maybe someday she would have a vacation here when everything was over and done with. Elsie was brought out of her daydreaming when she heard something that sounded like an object being punched and heard Lauren exclaim in pain. Elsie looked over, her eyes wide open. "Lauren, what happened?" She was going to ask the obvious question Are you hurt but restrained herself from that. It was stupid, of course it would hurt! It sounded like maybe Lauren broke her hand. "What did the door do to you?"
