Lauren watched after Leo commented about her perspiration and she sniffed herself in concern when he looked down at his phone. He seemed to be glued to that thing, which she didn't really care too much about. Lauren had finished up a side part of her meal when she heard.

I don't know about dancing, now anyway, but if you want, I could sing for you.

Lauren blinked in surprise and after about half a minute she nodded and said, "Sure!" she held up a finger asking for a minute and she walked across the room and got herself a drink and came back, "Sorry I am poached." Parched... "Parched." she took a sip and placed the drink down on the table.

Arms crossed he stood in the middle of the training room calmly awaiting his partner in crime. After a good while the door had finally opened up and entering it was the silver haired man. "Well it took you fucking long enough" Alistair said with a grin as he unfolded his hands and watched as Regulus walked in.

"My apologies...the transplant took longer than I anticipated...." Regulus said before glancing up at Alistair "well then...shall we begin?" Regulus said crossing his own arms as he faced off against Alistair.

"Confident bastard aren'tcha" Alistair said as he held his hands forward and shot a pair of blades towards Regulus. The blades bounced off the invisible wall that was protecting Regulus, but this was the result he had been expecting. The blades merely acted as a mere distraction as Alistair rushed forward with the blade imbued from his skin made themselves known. After training with Regulus both of them had learned a great deal about their fighting styles. Even with that mask on, he knew that the professor's face never changed.

The invisible wall he used was sure to not withstand Alistair's corrosion as well as the force behind the manoeuvre as well. The shards dispersed from their wall like formation and shattered into smaller pieces each coating both of Regulus's hands in a tough transparent glove. With the dual blades being a feint, Regulus was prepared for an other attack that would come after such a weak move. The attack he had expected from Alistair reached before him and immediately he rose the back of his hand and used it to block the blade.

Blade clashes against him were dangerous, the corrosion would soon take effect and the weapon before him would die. Regulus was sure to know this and would try to be cautious of this. Alistair found his blade being pushed aside, but immediately Alistair countered with the other blade in his next arm. The two began to clash with great skill, both finding their attacks to be deflected and were able to brush off the light blows that managed to get in.

His pace was great, but Regulus knew that eventually the scales would tip in Alistair's favour. Alistair had more experience and had even managed to speak to Azrael for some even more training. Though he had a firm grasp on his powers he had yet to even acknowledge Sariel. It was time for things to change, he decided it was time to end it and with that he simply gave a nod.

Alistair noticed the sudden nod and though he raised an eyebrow at it his smirk grew as Regulus's arms were knocked back. Now open, Alistair took his chance to slice at the man, but instantly his body froze as a piercing sound echoed throughout the room. Alistair's eyes widened as blood trickled down his mouth, he refused to open his mouth, but the flood of blood was too much and he coughed out blood. His eyes looked down weakly as he saw what appeared to be a metallic arm coming through his chest and holding something...was it his heart?...no...it wasn't his..."Keh...you..you..damn bastard" Alistair said weakly as he stared up at Regulus with a weak grin. As the seconds passed his vision blurred.

"Impressive...so this is what a dark angel's heart looks like...or half of it I suppose" Regulus said walking up to Alistair as he picked up the heart that the hand held and held it up to examine it "I grew so fascinated upon hearing such news about how a dark angel's heart resides in you...I guess I grew far too impatient" Regulus said before looking over at Alistair "Well then...why don't you fall into your slumber?" Regulus said with a smile as the claw of his newest doll reeled back was released from the chest of Alistair. The blood spilled and Alistair's body fell to the ground.

This was sounding more and more dangerous by the minute. She could die if she let Arariel take complete control over her? The simple life she wished to have seemed out of reach now. She had to learn to control her powers. She had a taste of what it was like yesterday and was terrified of it. For all she knew, she could have possibly killed that infant merely on accident. Of course, no one would know about it but her, but it left a bitter taste in her mouth. She tapped her fingers on the side of the mug, staring down at what was left of her drink. She wasn't quite sure who Henrik's angel was, nor was she sure how to ask. Even if he gave the angel's name, she probably wouldn't understand what he was capable of. To think, just yesterday she was worried about what swimming form to teach her youngsters and to get every move perfectly in the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Now she was focusing on the end of the world, Dark Angels, Fallen, and a power that had recently been unlocked. If someone who had some experience was willing to train her and get her caught up with the program, she would take that opportunity.

"You vill teach me to no die. 'He'll play nice,'" she repeated and then let out a small sigh. She had an inkling this wasn't going to be easy. "Bah... Okie, I know good place vhere ve can train. No people around. Not far from here. I vant to start today." She then stood to her feet and took her mug in her hands, smiling slightly at Iris and Henrik. "But first, I must use Little Girl's Room. I vill be quick." She nodded to them and made her way back in the cafe. What was she to expect from this? She had no clue. She felt her hand tremble as she carried the mug back to the counter. Was she afraid? But why? After she handed the mug back to the cashier, even though that wasn't necessary, Cora disappeared into the bathroom and closed the door behind her, locking it. She then pulled out her phone and scrolled through her contacts. When she found Adam, she pressed the message box and wrote out a text to him.

Cora pressed send and then gently bumped her head against the door. This all seemed pretty foolish to her, but what choice did she really have? What if the Dark Angels they were talking about came today? No, she needed to be ready for anything at all costs.

    .-._.-._.-.Teleportation-No-Jutsu.-._.-._.-.

'Ve are here." The Russian had led Henrik and Iris to a small, cove like place along the shoreline. It was secluded, no human footprints could be seen, and away from the prying eyes of anyone who might catch them. Cora began to stretch, starting with her arms. She had a feeling this was going to take a lot of stamina and sap most of her energy. "Zoh, how do ve do this training?"

William closed his eyes calmly and let out a sigh still mulling over his choices. Sure he said that he would trust her words, but that was a difficult thing to do and the regret was beginning to already show. Regardless of the fact he said he would join them and he fully would keep to his word until he realized how insane these people truly were. Another sigh as he opened his eyes and he stared over at the newcomer that had join the little group.

He didn't know why, but that man's words brought him on edge. Such a simple thing he said, but for somebody staying really cautious this was something the affected him. Had it not been for him hearing Joslyn's stomach growl he would have instantly thought of them as some pedophiles when she invited him for food. If one was to take out the stuttering then it would have probably been like a man inviting a kid over to get in a van while offering some candy.

Rubbing his temples he let out a sigh before lowering his hands and stared back at Joslyn. "Very well, I accept your invitation" Will said before closing his eyes as he crossed his arms "I must admit I am curious about your little journey...even if its a tall tale or not" Will said. For now as much as he hated it, he would hold on the guise as the little kid, so that way he would be as annoyed as he thought he would be.

"The name's Ahranna. Unfortunately, I'm kind of the reason why your friend Brandon here and the other one -- ... Kai, was it? -- are in the hospital. It was like their car came out of nowhere and then it was swerving to avoid hitting me."
Adam wanted to let out a sigh but chose not to. Wonderful. She was probably one of those people that got so sympathetic over an accident that they just didn't know when to leave. He could very well just be assuming that.
    "You must be Adam."

He was thrown off a bit when she said his name correctly. Brandon didn't even get the doctors to say it correctly. Much less her, unless she spoke to Kai. Well, conversed with Kai. Then again she could still speak, it was just Kai who couldn't. He wondered how Kai was then.
" I've heard a good deal about the lot of you. Brandon told me that you and your friends have just been traveling the world. That's so fascinating. I was just telling him that I wish I could just pack up and leave -- travel the globe -- like that, when you walked in. I bet you've just had tons of exciting adventures. "
    Damn it Brandon.
Well at least she wasn't up and asking if she could travel the world, she just said she wished she could. And sometimes he wished he could enjoy it. He almost slipped and said the words exciting is an understatement but managed to restrain himself from saying that and instead said, "It has been interesting. Its sad though that they got injured during our travels though. At least you weren't hit by the car."
Not that no one else got injured or anything... hopefully Brandon didn't go into detail...
Adam heard a beep come from his pocket and he looked down to check on it to see a message from Cora, who was now training with Henrik who was teaching her how ... not to die? He must have meant defending herself and fighting because if he wanted to teach her how to not die he wouldn't be teaching her at all.
He looked back up the two in the room after he texted her back.

A piercing pain made itself known in his head as the little boy rose up from his bed instantly and held it tightly. The horns resting upon his head were never the most pleasant, but the fact that they were a gift from his father meant the world for him. Caius could never understand why his father wanted him while he was asleep and even the times he was awake he would still fell asleep no matter how hard he tried. "Today I'm not going to fall asleep! today I will be able to spend time with daddy!" those were the thoughts that he would tell himself whenever he was taken by his father.

He felt like a disappointment, he felt like he was a failure. His father was always a scary man, but maybe that was because he fell asleep all those time and disappointing the man severely. Even so that man was his dad and he was sure to love him...that was what he believed and his main objective was to make his dad proud. Maybe his father would be able to make the pain go away...he hoped for this with all his might.

He was fully dressed and fully ready to march out. Filled with determination and hope the boy rushed out from his sleeping quarters and out of the room. He would make his dad happy, he was positive. He walked towards the operating room and slowly opened the door peeking his little head into it to see what his father was up to. To his surprise there was nobody and Caius snapped his fingers in frustration. How could he prove himself if his dad wasn't there? he began to cross his arms and think hard before it finally hit him. A bright cheerful smile arose on his face as he ran down the halls.

To be honest for the little child it was a nerve-racking experience for him to walk off all alone in the halls like this and he swore it was the first time he did it alone. Regardless of this he knew where he was going and soon enough he reached his destination. The training room was where his father would always go to, but something strange happened. A mysterious figure had entered the room before he got there and he raised an eyebrow as he watched it go in. Running up to the door, Caius took a deep breath in and sighed. The moment of truth had arrived and he had to be ready to prove himself to his father.

He opened the door slightly and peeked inside still hesitating from entering fully. What he saw made his eyes widen as he stared at the mysterious figure inside. The mysterious figure he saw was what looked like a feminine body cloaked in a cloth, her face blocked by a mask. She held up a lifeless corpse with red hair by the throat. He had seem his father's workings before but to see Azrael a part of his working...lifeless like that was what made him shiver in fight as he watched his father stare at something in his hand before staring back at Azrael.

    "show yourself...your concealment is poor..."

His father's voice rang cold and sent shivers down his spine as immediately Caius jumped at the fact that he was caught. This was definitely not a good start and a perfect time to abandon the project, but he couldn't do that...he need to prove his bravery and he needed to make his father proud. With a gulp Caius walked in with shaky legs and stood there silently.

    ".....why are you here boy?..."

The mask had hid his face, but the sheer voice alone was enough to paralyze Caius in fear. He stood there shaking as he stared at his father.

    "Speak....you waste my time..."

The words hit him as if a sword has sliced his chest in one clean swipe. He never wanted to waste his fathers time at all, he didn't want to be a burden. "I-I...." Caius began to stutter before looking down at the ground. "I want to spend time with you daddy..." Caius said looking down.

There was no reply...nothing...Regulus Astar, with cold eyes stared at his son. Caius slowly rose his head to look at his father and past the eye-holes of his mask, Caius saw a fearful cold gaze, one that held no love. His body shook harder as his body began to heat up, the emotions were strong and the horns on his head were hurting a great deal. He couldn't cry...no not now...but soon enough Regulus walked past the boy with the woman carrying Azrael and left the room. He was all alone..nobody left to speak to him...only silence.

He couldn't do it here...mama Lu would probably see him. He needed to get away...he walked off through the scary halls and returned back into his room. Without a word he sat on his bed and brought his knees to his chest and buried his head into them. The tears would now stop and he was just a snivelling mess. He had to stop, he did want mama Lu to see him. He wanted to prove himself to his mama so that he could make her proud, but he just couldn't stop snivelling.

"It has been interesting. It's sad though, that they got injured during our travels. At least you weren't hit by the car."

She smiled up at Adam. "Yeah. I was fortunate. With the way they ended up, I would probably be dead. I was just so very lucky that they managed to miss me." Ahranna reached out and patted Brandon on the arm. She gave him a bright, appreciative smile. Adam pulled out his phone for a minute and checked his messages. Ahranna sat idly by until he finished up. Brandon was being strangely quiet now. That was kind of okay though. He was an interesting character. When Adam put away his phone and looked over at the both of them again, she rested her hand in her lap and pressed her lips together. "So, you're both from England right? I've been hearing all those reports about that craziness going on there? Did you guys see it, or have you been traveling around since before then? I kind of wish I could check it out, just to see it, ya know?"

Ahranna wanted to try and willingly get as much information out of them as possible. If they told her, then she wouldn't slip up by just so happening to know. It had been working so far, but Adam didn't seem quite as simple - minded as Brandon.

Adam was a bit thrown off by the question before he let out a reply, "Yeah, we did see it. We started traveling around that time." he may or may not have been lying then. He had joined the group then, but he didn't know when Brandon did.
Adam shifted a little bit where he was standing before he continued, "I don't know if they showed anything on the telly but that is the most you would want to see... unless you like the idea of jumping into that craziness." Adam shrugged and looked over at Brandon who had remained surprisingly quiet throughout this entire conversation.

Cal was sitting on her bed. They all had recently outgrown their beds and Momma Lu had enlarged them the other day. She didn't even have to get new ones, they just expanded. It was a neat trick. She had been reading a book when she heard the sound of the door opening. Her red eyes lifted for a brief moment to see Caius walk in and head to his bed. He was such a little cutie. His small horns were adorable, but she always felt bad for him since he seemed to be in so much pain because of them. He always seemed eager to spend time with his father as well. It made her a little lonesome and envious. She didn't know her father and all Momma Lu would tell her was that she and Mali were half sisters. They knew that since the beginning.

They were orphans that had separate mothers, but they had each other. Unfortunately, Mali had spent most of the time they were growing up away from the palace. Watching Soren and Anna together along with Caius and Sariel made her feel like the odd man out.

There was sniffling and sobbing coming from the small bed on the other side of the room and she immediately set her book down without bothering to mark the page. Cal had already read it twice so it mattered little to her. Caius was crying and he needed attention. She moved swiftly across the room and took a seat beside him. Her arms wrapped around his small figure and she pulled him onto her lap, holding him close. Cal stroked his head, mindful of the horns. The last thing she wanted was to make him cry more. These were the moments where she was glad her father wasn't around. Sariel didn't seem like a very nice man, unlike Azrael. She wanted to go see him since he had been rather preoccupied the last few days. Cal hadn't seen much of him since Momma Lu went into that rage and burnt down his room.

"Caius what's wrong?" she whispered. Cal hummed softly and continued to stroke his head. His hair was soft and his little body was warm against her waist and lap. "It's okay. I'm here for you." she murmured.

Caius tried with all his might to try and stop crying, to stop the tears and move on and be strong, but that was far harder to do that he ever thought. All he wanted was his father's love but even that was something he might not ever get. The tears continued to flow, but the sudden warms and embrace he felt changed that. The tears that had managed to be held back just immediately began to flood as he hugged the girl, unable to hold it in anymore.

"I'm..such a...failure" Caius struggle to say with each sob as he held her tightly making sure not to harm her with his horns. Cal was somebody who was always there for him and he cared for her greatly. Azrael was a fun guy...but from what he saw the mere memory only made it worse for the child. The tears ran, but they started to slow down as he tried his best to try and say what had happened.

"I...I just wanted daddy to be proud of me...I-I tried to impress him by showing him I could stay up when we were together so I went to the training room all by myself" Caius began to say with a little pride in his accomplishment, but that changed upon the thought about what happened next. "I saw daddy...with a stranger that held up Azrael's body" Caius said beginning to tremble "I-I think he was dead...." Caius said burying his head into her "I tried to talk to daddy...but he was just annoyed and when I asked if he would like to spend time with me he gave me a really scary look and left" Caius said shaking even more than when he spoke about Azrael. The fearful cold stare still lingered in his body and all it did was tell him just how worthless he was to the man.

Henrik was already expecting Cora to refuse the kind of help he offered and was mildly surprise when she accepted, vanished for a bit to use the restroom, and returned with a place in mind for them to begin her first lesson. One of many lessons that Cora would have to learn and all of which would almost assuredly be painful and possibly humiliating. The only thing that mattered here was whether or not Cora would learn enough to keep herself alive...and that Lei would not attempt fighting Henrik for control just to satiate his need to kill.

The cove Cora led them to was hardly what he expected when she said she had the perfect place to train. Still, it was secluded enough and seemed to be difficult for them to be traced to this location so that was all they really needed. Iris on the other hand was not so concerned about the practicality of the cove but was already more interested in looking around. Being from Norway did not exactly give her many chances to go to a warm beach. At least it would keep her mind off of other things for a while.

"First off, I'm going to need you to demonstrate your ability once more." Henrik eyed the ground and motioned upwards with his index finger causing hundreds of grains of sand to rise off the ground before beginning to coalesce into a small sphere before dropping back once he released it. "Think back to when you first used your power. Remember what you felt. Emotion is a good trigger but, from my experience, it's not something that brings an ability into focus." Even as he spoke, Lei was already offering "advice" of his own. According to the angel, they would have been better skipping past what Henrik had just said and starting a little more violently. Totally out of the question.

With so many locked rooms, exploring was hardly as fun as Soren thought it would be. Anna wanted to check on the mirror room again but the moment she reached for the door Soren pulled her away. He did not want her to see what he had done to the place. Even though he was not happy with the results of their aimless wandering, Anna seemed more than content to be out of the room with him. He knew she just wanted to keep an eye on him so he wouldn't hurt himself further. With enough time having been spent on what to him was nothing, more than enough of his strength had returned so that he could continue practicing. If he wasn't afraid of hurting Anna, he would have asked his sister to join him but even if she wasn't related to him her sheer nonviolent nature would make her a poor partner.

"Your hair's getting too long." Anna commented. Soren raised an eyebrow and ran a hand through his messy black locks of hair, unsure if there was any point to what she had just said. Did it really matter? Aside from her, no one else would probably care anyways. He shrugged at Anna as they entered their room, intent on leaving her to her own devices until he spotted Cal speaking to Caius. The last time he had seen the baby it could barely even crawl. Now he was speaking apparently. Of course, what came to mind first was the question of how much it would hurt if he ripped those stupid horns out of the child's head. Not like the father would care. Anna, seemingly knowing what Soren was thinking, elbowed him lightly.

"I wasn't being serious." Though even he was unsure whether or not he had just lied to his sister. "Hi Cal." Soren spoke up while Anna merely waved at the two. He didn't like Caius. So no hi for him. He wanted to say more to the girl but there was nothing he could say in front of other people. Even though Anna spoke less, she was the better one with words. He gave a halfhearted wave to Cal and his sister, unsure of what else to do before starting to head out of the room and back into the hallway.

"He's been acting strange..." Anna muttered as she went to sit on her own bed.

He wrapped his little arms around her tightly. The poor thing. "I'm..such a...failure," he choked out between sobs.

"That's not true at all," she cooed. He was just a child. A small thing like him could not be a failure. It was wrong for anyone to say otherwise.

"I...I just wanted daddy to be proud of me...I-I tried to impress him by showing him I could stay up when we were together so I went to the training room all by myself." Caius began to say with a little pride in his accomplishment, "I saw daddy...with a stranger that held up Azrael's body." Cal cocked a brow and continued to stroke the back of his head encouragingly. Caius began to tremble and she wiped at his cheek. "I-I think he was dead...." He buried his head into her torso and her eyes widened.

"What?" She must have heard him wrong. Azrael couldn't be dead.

"I tried to talk to daddy...but he was just annoyed and when I asked if he would like to spend time with me he gave me a really scary look and left."

She shook her head and pressed a finger lightly to the underside of his chin, tilting his head up. "Oh Caius, that's not true at all. I'm sure he's loads proud of you, he just won't say it. You have to remember, this right here isn't because of you. Your father is the Angel of Eternity and Trembling. He puts this fear in your heart and these tears on your face without even trying. It's just who he is. You can't take it to heart so much hon. You're not a failure at all. I think that was mighty brave of you to try and face him." She smiled down at the child and planted a small kiss on the top of his head.

The door opened shut again. A moment later Soren and Anna walked into the room and she met the boy's gaze. "Hi Cal." he greeted, while his sister waved.

"Hi Soren." she replied curtly. He had been trying to befriend her for a short time now. Her dislike for him had grown into indifference. He was a stupid pompous boy that seemed to believe there was a life for them outside of the palace walls. If they left, they would die. It had been instilled in their heads enough times. He didn't believe anything Momma Lu said and despised all of the adults. It wasn't fair of him to be so hateful. The people here were their family. Even if none of them were blood -- save for Caius and his situation with Sariel -- they were the ones that raised them all. The Dark Angels were the ones they were closest too. Here, they had a family, each other; there, they were orphans. Momma Lu was the closest thing any of them had to a mother.

Soren gave them all a wave before walking back out of the room. Anna took a seat on her own bed and looked over to the fair - haired blonde. "He's been acting strange..." she muttered.

Cal nodded her head in agreement. "That he has." She lifted Caius up and wrapped her arms around his waist, holding him at eye level. She buried her face in his neck and sighed softly. "Everything is going to be okay. At least you have a daddy." She hugged him tightly and her sister walked into the room.

"Cal, quit being so sad. You're too much of a downer when you're like this. If you keep babying him, he'll never get strong like the rest of us. He'll just be a horned - freak dolt of a Nephilim." Mali plopped down in one of the chairs and pulled her long hair over her shoulder. She held her arm out in front of her and feint wisps of mist coiled around her arm. "I am getting so much better at this than Soren. Maybe I should show him how much cooler I am than him."

She sent a pillow flying at her sister who narrowly avoided it. "Shut your stupid face. The only one acting like a dolt is you. What does that even mean anyway? You sound like an ass just talking like that."

Her voice was soothing and slowly brought him at ease as he listened to her speak. She denied that he was a failure, but he still couldn't stop feeling like one. He looked up at her face as she began to speak one more and he began to calm down much more as he heard her explain the reason for his father's scary stare. Blinking away the tears in his eyes, he closed his eyes and sniffled as she kissed his forehead.

The opening of the door caught his attention and his eyes glanced over at Soren and Anna as the two walked in. Caius was kind of jealous that everybody in the room had a sibling except for him, but it didn't really make him mind since they were like siblings either way. For some reason Soren never liked him, but then again Soren was always angry so he didn't really know what exactly Soren actually liked. He noticed Anna's wave and meekly gave her a small wave back before hugging Cal again as the girls spoke about Soren.

His eyes widened as he was suddenly lifted up and she began to hug him once more. He looked down at her as the sudden thought had reached his mind. Unlike him she had no dad, none of them had a dad except for him. Was Cal sad about this? He didn't like when she was sad. A newcomer had arrived and Caius' attention was once again drawn over at Mali as she spoke. Her words seemed to upset Cal and though Mali made fun of him, it upset him more that Cal was upset. Narrowing his eyes at Mali, he closed his eyes and stuck his tongue at her and then turned back at Cal and pat her head with his hand "don't be sad , having a dad is...whats the word....overrated..." Caius said putting on a smile trying to make things better.

Cora watched in amazement as Henrik effortlessly raised only a few grains of sand and spun them around in the air like it was nothing. "You make it look zoh easy," she said with contempt. Focus on what she was feeling yesterday? Then again, emotions were so unstable. "Any more advice?" But even as she said it, she stretched out her hand, uncertain what to really do. She gazed at the sand, thinking back to yesterday. She felt hopeless, fear, but determined to do what she could. She inhaled deeply and searched deep within herself, trying to find the power she tapped into just yesterday-

Suddenly the sand in front of her exploded upward, causing Cora to cover her head. The sand rained down on the pair, the explosion of power gone.

"Voops..." Cora coughed and brushed the sand off of her.

    Joslyn Taylor Jones
    DAY: 53 - 5/5 | DATE: November 13th, 2013 [Wednesday] | LOCATION: Hotel in Taupo, New Zealand

The little boy sighed as he rubbed his temples before staring back at the girl. "Very well, I accept your invitation" He closed his eyes and crossed his small arms. "I must admit I am curious about your little journey...even if its a tall tale or not"

"O-ok." Joslyn nervously led the other two with her to the dining room, where she saw that Lauren and Leo were already there. "Oh! Th-those two a-are with us." The pale-skinned girl said as she pointed to the unusual pair. "T-the girl is n-named Lauren, and the g-guy is named L-Leo."

"I think you should introduce yourself. You haven't done so at all, I don't think." The angel suggested.

"Oh, right! Uh, w-with everything t-that's been g-going on, I-I forgot introductions!" The ghostly teenager laughed sheepishly. "M-my name is J-Joslyn."

    "Smooooooooth~"

Elsie had worked on homework for the rest of the day, getting ahead a week at least. After that, she was exhausted and went to sleep. She wondered what Andela had in store for her tonight...

Sal was quite thoroughly creeped out by what had just happened. All he was doing was just explaining to good old Ariel, er, Leon about why what he said to Hay Sun might not've been the greatest of things to say. Next thing he knew, Leon was flipping out, sort of. He seemed, well, extremely possessive of Hay Sun, or Uriel. Or both. Really, the whole thing just seemed to further weird Sal out and give him an off feeling about Leon. Then Hay Sun came around, got in his face a bit and then proceeded to knock him out through some...angel means probably. 'Is...is he always like this?'

"If you are talking about his attachment towards Uriel, then yes, he has, for the most part, always had that. It varies in how visible it is, but he is quite attached to Uriel."

'Good to know.' With not much left to do in the day, Sal decided to fall asleep... on the still flying plane I guess. Flight Limbo and all. Anyway, yeah, Sal went to sleep...goodnight day.

"Don't be sad sis, having a dad is... what's the word.... overrated...?" Caius said putting on a smile trying to make things better. He patted her head and she cracked a smile. A small chuckled escaped Cal and she lowered him back to a seated position on her lap.

"You're getting so smart Caius. Pretty soon you'll be smarter than me. And bigger. You'll be the biggest and smartest of us all, and then what will we do with you?" She tapped him lightly on the nose with the tip of her finger and her eyes crinkled at the corners when she smiled. Cal sighed and started to play with his soft hair, running her fingers through the locks. Caius was an adorable little boy and she really hated that he had such little self - esteem because of his father. The little boy seemed better now. He had stopped his own tears when he tried to comfort her about the lack of parentage she had. "You seem better now," she noted.

Cal slid Caius back onto his bed and gave him another kiss on the forehead before she got to her feet. She ran her hands down the front of her jeans and gave the boy a smile before heading towards the door. "Where ya going?"

She turned back to Mali who was grinning smugly. "For a walk." she replied. Cal wanted to check on Soren. Now that she had cheered up one boy, she thought maybe she could do the other.

"Gonna go find yer boyfriend?" Mali chirped with a chuckle.

Cal made some obscene gestures with her hands toward her sister. "He's not my boyfriend. I'm just going to see if he's all right." She glared at her sister before giving Caius a wave and walking down the hall to their door. She entered the hall and shoved her hands in her back pockets, wondering where Soren might have gone. With the way he had been behaving lately, she had a pretty good idea. Cal followed the hall in the U - shape it made to take her from their room to the Training Room. The main hall which had originally been scorched from the flames of Momma Lu appeared to be back to normal. There was still a large smoldering hole in the wall where Azrael's room once stood. She skirted around it quickly and hoped that Caius was mistaken when he said the Angel of Death was dead.

She glanced back behind her at Momma Lu's bedroom door before quickly making her way around the corner. Cal could hear sounds in the training room from out in the hall. It was a good sign as to whether or not he was in there. She rounded the corner to the door and lingered over the threshold for a minute. With a heavy sigh, she pushed the door open to find the raven - haired boy busy at work. Cal pulled her hands out of her pockets and leaned back against the wall. She waited until he seemed to pause before approaching him. "Soren," she called, "hey ..." Cal took a breath before working up a sheepish grin. "I just thought I'd come check on you. You've kind of got everyone worrying these last few days. You're always in here training and you seem way more agitated than before."

Henrik began to brush the sand off his coat after Cora's little accident. "That wasn't so bad. At least you managed to get something done." Once enough of the sand was dusted off he scratched his head, thinking of what best to tell her. "Did you get a good idea of what that power is supposed to feel like? Because that's what you need to focus on. Not what triggered your abilities in the first place. Power comes from understanding, not emotion."

"It's starting to get late." Iris walked over towards the two and flicked several grains of sand off Henrik's shoulder. He looked off to the shore, watching the setting sun. Time moved faster than he thought it would. They had barely gotten anything done. Then again, it wasn't as if this was the first thing they had done in the day. Between coffee and the time he spent explaining other things they had used up their day.

"So, shall we go back to your place then?"

After having Cora agree to go back to her apartment, the three left and went to sleep in their own rooms(Henrik and Iris in the same of course) with nothing more to be said.

They were quite the interesting bunch that's for sure. More and more as time went by the doubts in him began to form and there were many questions all rummaging around. If they really were travelling all around where did they get the funds for such an endeavour. All of them barely looked even past 25 yet here they were recruiting a child of all things. Were they this desperate that they needed to drag around what appeared to be a child?

As they walked on the girl brought up an interesting point. Her comrade named Elise had already introduced herself to him and through that he already knew the name of Joslyn it was nice to see the girl formally introduce herself to him like that "Hmm yes, your friend Elise already told me your name but I still appreciate being introduced like this. As you know my name is William...pleasure to meet you Joslyn" Will said giving her a nod before turning away.

"well then as much fun as this is I'd best head home" William said turning away raising his hand in farewell "I shall meet you here tomorrow so don't fret and think I am ditching" William said as he walked off with a final wave and head back to the apartment next door and let out a sigh. With that he closed his eyes and collapsed on the bed, falling asleep the moment he rested on the bed.
