"Forgive me, Friend Drei, but we must prepare for the worst," Zauriel told Drei as he slipped out of his grip. What was that voice? What was that light? What happened to the Professors? What is that stone? Who is that man? Is the President of Lorima okay? Was Kendric hurt? Where were they? Where were they going? Were Mya and Drei hurt in any way? Why was everybody yelling? Too many questions, too few answers. So Zauriel decided to focus on the simplest thing that he could: escape. Tabling the other questions for later allowed Zauriel to clear his head and think semi-straight. "Escaping is the priority!" He yelled allowed to Mya and Drei, but anybody else could listen, "But escape is pointless if we die trying. So prepare to defend yourselves! We must report this to someone!" Still in his 'combat mode' with his claws and fangs, he picked up his pace and ran past Mya and Drei. "Be safe, friends. We must stay together, but intelligently." His eyes changed to a golden color and became slits. He could feel the nerves connecting his eyes to his brain alter as his eyes imitated a cat's. His vision now improved in the darkness, Zauriel allowed the shifting bones in his back to fully transform into wings...but green fur exploded from his skin instead. "No, not now!" Being an unmastered Shapeshifter really has its disadvantages sometimes. The constant use of his magical energy would normally not be a hazard, but coupled with the stress of the situation and his body reacting to his surroundings and also added to the fact that Zauriel couldn't control his Shapeshifting abilities to begin with, Zauriel wasn't able to mix-match appearances. Because he already had claws and fangs and just added the eyes of a cat to his appearance, his body had decided to reject the addition of wings and finish the transformation into a cat: Zauriel was now a humanoid cat with green fur and his bronze horns, wearing his normal clothes. "Well, then," he growled as he felt his knees reverse and fell onto all fours, finishing his transformation. "This is highly unfortunate..." He was still his normal size, but was now a horned green cat in a person's clothes. He could feel that he had still retained the ability to walk on his hind-legs, but would move faster and easier on all fours. As he turned and leapt around a corner, he asked his fellow escapees, "It seems my body would rather remain some form of consistency. I am now unsure of how much help I would be."

Being drawn into this whole clash of events, My had no choice but to follow the flow where it was going. The light, the voice, everything, nothing made sense to her. What was going on? Her head started to hurt from all of the rush of info in her head as she ran along Drei and Zauriel somewhere randomly in the tower. She then felt Zauriel slip out and speak to the both of them. Wait! Don't do anything stu- She stared in awe as he started to change forms. So far, she only experienced him changing in small increments, but something like a whole body change, it was a first for her. Even the many books she read didn't prepare her for this. She shook her head. This is no time to stare and look! Think Mya! She looked around. Since you seem to be some sort of cat-like form, you can use your keen hearing to try finding some sort of sound that resembles the outside. It also helps you can lead us as well.

Kendric's mind was still clear, he had been better prepared for that throw from Taras though it had been embarrassing to do all that running all to be just flung back to where he had started. His body was in pain, but not so much that he couldn't move. As he was about to rise again and force his way through the others, that voice spoke. Soothing but urgent. Some of the words were familiar to him. Though the others had probably never studied spells, as the academy did not teach them, his father's book briefly covered several. The spell that was cast had something to do with blinding the senses of dark-hearted people with light. In order for it to work, the spellcaster had to be stronger than the intended target. Whoever it was must have been extraordinarily powerful to have it work on the adults...and some of the students as well.

As he wondered who could have possibly been behind the spell, Celeste suddenly came to him and dragged him to run with her saying something about keeping the stone. She looked...more transformed than usual. As he was about to question her about it, several bullets whizzed by. Click click. The guns must have been empty. "That's a relief-Watch it!" Kendric turned around as he sensed the surge of power coming from the woman who had been firing. He stepped between Celeste and the gust of wind.

"That could have been painful." He lowered his hands, feeling somewhat proud of himself for having stopped the attack. The woman probably didn't use all of her power. Or Kendric was capable of more than he let on. It was probably the former. "Keep running." Kendric told Celeste, motioning for her to go on. "There's still others back there." He tossed her the stone that he had stolen from Naomi. Just in case the spell ended while he was away, he didn't want it to fall into the wrong hands if he got caught. "Take it and go!" The golden aura, Kendric's own magical signature, appeared once more as he took off running towards the adults. Alastair seemed to be wounded but he would have to wait just a few seconds longer.

There was another that was left behind. "Hang on buddy!" Kendric called out as he passed Alastair, darting past Naomi, Taras, Nadine, and Sarah all of which would be glad to get their hands on him--or any student--and inflict some pain. Julia, was understandable. She was always mean to everyone. The spell would naturally work on her. But Zillia? Kendric didn't know her well enough but she didn't seem to be a bad person. Either way, he wasn't leaving anyone behind. Even if they did have some kind of dark secret.

Rather than waste time speaking to Zillia, Kendric merely manhandled the girl and slung her over his shoulder. It wasn't exactly elegant or...civil, but now wasn't the time to be worrying about stupid things like that. "All aboard!" Sadly, Zillia wouldn't be able to hear his poor joke but he continued on as if she had, sprinting over towards Alastair and closing in on him in a matter of seconds. Kendric's abilities may not have been as flashy as most others but right now they were certainly more useful. "Less playing hero, more running away." Kendric took Alastair's arm and pushed him along to help him move faster before any other attacks would slow their progress.

Meanwhile, both Taras and Nadine focused their energy on attempting to break the spell that blinded them. Thankfully the attacks Sarah had released were precise enough to spare them having to take any unnecessary hits. Friendly fire wasn't something the two planned on taking a part in. Though their actions would mean that they would be unable to attack, it would be worth it if they could break the spell before it was released. This totally isn't filler. It really isn't.

OOC: posting for Moshi today, will post for myself later.

    ayer banner.png
Ayer watched as the sisters had their lowest moment, having to part from one another. He couldn’t deny that is had hit him as well, having known very well how much it hurt to lose a sibling. ‘Survival situations are really the worse…’ He thought as he shook his head at the sight of such a tragedy.

He soon followed along as the girls made their way towards the tunnels when something suddenly stopped him. He felt a strong heat along his back and the hall just seemed to glow brightly. Turning around quickly, he noticed the fire wall that had suddenly appeared behind them, obviously made by one of the adults. It was huge and he knew that all the students hadn’t made it out yet.

“I have to help…” Without giving it a second thought, he rushed over to Angela’s side, stopping her in her tracks along with her sister. “I need to do something about this. It’s more than likely going to be dangerous. So I want you to both keep going and keep an eye out for one another. I’m sure you’d be able to make it as far away from here as possible before things get worse.”

He smiled, kneeling down to Luna and taking off an ice crystal necklace he was wearing. “I know things seem bad now and you feel hope is gone. But I promise things will turn out for the better. You must keep a positive mindset, alright.” She took her hand, placing the necklace gently onto to palm and sandwiching her hand. “If you ever feel scared or low, this will help you. My mother gave it to me and it has always protected me no matter what mess I was in. It’s also the surest way I can find you both again.”

He got back up before turning to look at Angela once more, his smiled weakening a bit. “Well, I know we haven’t known each other long, but I need you to know that I care for you dearly. You are strong and mature and I am confident you’ll be able to lead yourself and sister to safety. You have no need to worry about me for I know that my destiny is to help others and it will keep me safe.”

Taking her hand, he slowly lifted it up to his lips, dotting kisses along her fingers. “So long as I know you’re alive, I will never stop fighting for you. I would sacrifice myself before I allow any harm to come your way. It’s a promise I make to you deep within my heart. No matter what fate brings upon us, I promise you that I will always come back to you.” He leaned in close before placing a soft kiss upon her cheek, one of the places he would only kiss a girl he truly liked.

Ayer pulled away before a smiled crept upon his face once more, feeling the butterflies flutter through his stomach. It was no lip kiss but that was something better suited in another time. “Be careful and try to keep away from trouble. Only use your magic or engage in combat if it’s absolutely necessary, alright?”

    grace banner.png
Grace blinked in surprised as she was shoved aside, not having expected Artan to freak out yet again from an announcement that could have very well been useful to save their lives. She had never in the times they’d been friends, seen him in such a state of panic. It confused her that for once she could not keep him calm like she had been able to since they became friends. ‘What do I do now…?’

Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by some boy, Poke, who was standing right next to her, asking her if she was okay. She stared at the boy in silence for a moment before turning away slowly. “I’m fine. He just had a nervous outburst. Thank you for asking.” She tightened the strap on her book bag before looking back to the boy. “You should get a move on. It’s not safe to be here for much longer. We can’t know for sure how much longer the teachers would be in confusion for. So I wish you the best of luck.”

As soon as she finished, she dashed off to the tunnels, heading towards the path that she had seen Artan run though. ‘Don’t worry, Artan. No matter what, I will be sure to find you.” She said to herself as she easily dodged the fireballs that were carelessly being thrown about. Now wasn’t the time for her to fall nor did she ever plan to.

At this moment, regardless of all the fiasco going about, her one soul mission was to find her best friend. It didn’t matter who she had to take down as long as she could protect him. He was the only person she truly cared about and she’d do absolutely all it took to save him. ‘That ******* is sure to owe me big time for this.’ She grinned slightly, heading down the tunnel at a good speed to catch up to her friend. She was definitely going to catch him and get them both out of here, having once and for all proven how great she truly was.

    Naomi Lockhart

Naomi blinked, not having known a spell like this to have happened before. ‘This is strange. We must be dealing with a worthy opponent.’ She couldn’t help but grin, her excitement building up as she felt a sudden urge to battle. But she didn’t want to just be like the other who was attacking at children carelessly.

Shutting her eyes, she focused her energy in building another light barrier around them, leaving a space open for Sarah is she wanted to continue shooting as she pleased. This time, it would be much stronger, not wanting anyone to knock it down like before.

‘I swear I would make that fool pay for that. I will make him regret this day. That is, if I can contain myself before I kill him…’ She chuckled a bit, a rather dark but blue aura glowing around her as she now placed her focus on keeping the barrier up. No doubt there would be a student who would try to attack or something in their weakened state.

"Don't underestimate them, if everyone just runs blindly into these tunnels the enemy can catch up and pick us off, we need a rear guard to hold them back if they give chase" Alastair said as he puled free of Kendric's grip, he was exhausted but he knew he had to keep the other safe from that woman, he also wanted to know about the spell that was cast on the group, "Kendric? That spell attacks dark Hearted people right? Then why didn't it affect me? And any idea who cast it?" Alastair asked as he struggled to keep up.

Sarah stopped the magic attacks and picked up her pistols and reloaded them. "Can you guys here me?" she asked to her compatriots, she couldn't hear her own voice, a new plan to see if they could at least hear her "Tap my shoulder twice if you can hear me" she said as she holstered her guns, she had no idea how long a spell like this would last but she needed to know what condition the other three were in. She knew students had escaped and honestly it didn't bother her that much, in fact she was glad.

Angela was scared, nothing more, nothing less. More than anything, she hoped she wouldn't be separated from Luna or Ayer. Ayer stopped her in ER tracks with Luna, saying he needed to do something. Caught off guard, she couldn't protest.

Luna looked at Ayer, attempting to protest, but she couldn't. He had a heroic feel about him, and the young girl understood there was no stopping him. He knelt down and have her a necklace which he promised would keep her safe. He then went back to Angela.

    Before Angela could even think, Ayer spoke;

“Well, I know we haven't known each other long, but I need you to know that I care for you dearly. You are strong and mature and I am confident you'll be able to lead yourself and sister to safety. You have no need to worry about me for I know that my destiny is to help others and it will keep me safe.”

Angela looked at Ayer as he kissed all her fingers. 'What's he doing..?' she wondered, blushing.

“So long as I know you're alive, I will never stop fighting for you. I would sacrifice myself before I allow any harm to come your way. It’s a promise I make to you deep within my heart. No matter what fate brings upon us, I promise you that I will always come back to you.”

Then he kissed her on the cheek.

“Be careful and try to keep away from trouble. Only use your magic or engage in combat if it’s absolutely necessary, alright?”

Before she could contain herself, Angela started bawling and threw her arms around him. "You... Don't you dare die on me! Come back safely, okay!? I don't want to hear anything about you not being okay!" She wiped her eyes. Thinking back to his previous request, Angela pulled away and answered. "Alright... I'll be smart about this..." She smiled confidently, then turned to her sister. "Lets go Lu." Angela took her sister's hand in one of her own and Sora's in the other, then took off, eager to find Sophia.

'How sweet... It's just like a fairy tale...' Luna thought about Ayer and Angela. 'Be safe Ayer... You promised.' Luna looked up at Angela, and smiled at the bravery of her sister.

Alayah turned around quickly when she felt the tug on her arm, and then saw it was Abi, taking a few steps towards the tunnels. "W-we have to go now," she said. And Alayah couldn't agree more. Following Abi into the tunnels while she heard the sound of gunshots, Alayah turned around for one last glance. Most of the students were clear, but there were still a few. Some seemed to be injured and some were trying to help the injured ones.
Her heart froze for a second as she recognized one of them. "ROGAN!" she yelled, though she didn't dare leave the opening for the tunnel. Her brother glanced up, and she could tell he'd transformed, but he seemed to be fighting it fairly well. He was trying to help another boy get to his feet.
Alayah wasn't about to tell her brother to leave him and save himself. She didn't know the boy, but if he was a friend of Rogan's, she understood. But she couldn't leave him helpless, either.
So she just stared for a second before deciding that Rogan was strong enough and brave enough to face whatever was ahead, and she had faith that he would find her when he could. You'd better not die on me, she thought. But he wouldn't. If she knew her brother, she knew that she would see him again.
Rogan gave her a small smile. He didn't have to say anything. Being twins, they had a certain bond with each other, something similar to two people who had known each other well for many years. Alayah smiled back as a tear made its way down her face. Good luck, Rogan, she thought. Then she turned and followed Abi into the tunnel.

Rogan looked up when he heard Alayah yell his name. She was standing in the entrance to the tunnel, and for a split second, he thought she was going to tell him to leave Lucas behind. But then he saw her expression change, and she pursed her lips. He knew what that meant. Smiling up at her, he made a small promise with himself. You're not going to lose her, he thought. No matter what happens, you're going to find her later. You'll get Lucas to safety, and you'll find her again.
As Alayah smiled back, he sighed. Good luck, Alayah, he thought. Alayah turned and ran into the darkness, and Rogan turned his attention back to Lucas.
"Alright, we're leaving," he said calmly as he put Lucas's arm around his shoulder. Then, supporting Lucas as well as he could, he stood up and decided he was very lucky. The strength, perseverance and ferocity of the lion made it easier to help his friend. Then he started trying to make his way to the entrance of the tunnel as quickly and as quietly as possible. The teachers seemed to be blinded, but they were still dangerous.
The teacher who was firing a gun at the entrance stopped and suddenly a strong gust of wind caught Rogan by surprise. Already struggling somewhat with Lucas, he fell to the ground. He gave a small growl. This was frustrating him. But he had to put this feeling of frustration to good use. So he got up again, more determined to get himself and Lucas to safety.
As he began getting Lucas to his feet again, the teacher began to shoot orbs of fire at the entrance, not aiming for any stragglers, just shooting at the entrance in general. Well, at least she's still blind. That was a plus.

Drei momentarily stopped when he felt Zauriel slip from his grasp. When he turned back to see his reason, he just caught a glimpse of his finished transformation. "Just make sure you come back safe." Grasping Mya's hand again, he took off running again. Hopefully Zauriel could keep them updated on what lied ahead of them since they clearly wouldn't know.

Celeste caught the dark stone in her hands when her friend had tossed it over to her. Everything was happening so fast. First, she was hauling her friend to his feet. Next, he was the one who protected her from some sort of blast then, he was urging her to move forward when he decides to go back himself. It made her so angry. She pouted fiercely and felt herself build up inside.

"There's still others back there... Take it and go!"

"D-don't! Don't leave me! Kendric! Kendric...! Don't... YOU DARE LEAVE ME!"

She immediately clasped her hands over her mouth after her last words. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes and tempting to escape the corners of them. She started of crying out for him, but those last words came out as a roar. It disgusted her. She was changing. She was becoming a monster. She blinked the tears out of her eyes, as they glided down her cheeks. That's when she noticed the feeling on her lips from her hands was different. It didn't feel like skin. She slowly brought her hands in front of her field of vision. One of them held the dark stone Kendric had told her to keep, but both were the same. They were padded, now full-fledged tiger paws complete with thick, black claws. Fur of the same tanned colour of her skin even covered her paws, climbing up her forearms but disappearing gradually as they reached her upper arms. It gradients from fur at the tips of her fingers to the human skin still at her shoulders. She practically jumped at the sight of them, dropping the stone on the ground. Alarmed, she quickly fell on her fours, attempting to grab the stone with her paw as tears streamed down her faced, 'Ugh! No good shapeshifting!! This is ridiculous! Why... why did Kendric have to leave me? I don't know what's going to happen anymore. I just don't...'

Desperately, she crouches down closer to the ground and uses her fangs to grab the stone then claws at her skirt to lift it up to her mouth, dropping the stone safely into her pocket. It was the only way she could have held it and kept it safe. She looked back at the direction of where Kendric had gone back to. 'Follow your orders, Soldier. Run.' Rung back into her head as a sane reminder even though her body kept transforming. The bones in her body began to crack and reform - since she was only half in her state of mind the pain only half-hurt as well and at this point she could ignore it. She could feel her canvas metal-bottom shoes break out beneath her and her toenails growing. She had a weird feeling in her spine again, as if the dragon wings had wanted to come back but again, for that moment, she had ignored it. Her rabbit ears twitched as they picked up on what Kendric was saying, suddenly "Less playing hero, more running away." Hearing that just frustrated her and immediately she saw him, holding two others. 'Hypocrite.'

Then, as if that was the final whisper of Celeste's voice in her head, her eyes changed to the colour of panther yellow and her pupils changed into slits. The shapeshifter got up on her feet, as she began to walk. Metal klings and clangs echoed through the hall she was in joined by the scratching sound of thick claws that pierced through her shoes that made contact on the ground. Thick, dragon wings that protruded from her spine, flapped ever so slightly as she stalked the halls. Her tiger paws and claws on her right hand grazed the walls. Fur had covered her arms and legs by this point, but her clothes were still on with an exclusion of her broken shoes and she was roughly still the same size, only larger with the addition of her dragon wings. As her tongue licked over her incredibly fangs it was obvious that Celeste had gone... and the monster took over.

A smile cracked on the rabbit-tiger-panther-dragon-human hybrid's lips and immediately the creature lunged forward running on her feet at first but then dropping on all fours as she picked up on speed. The monster passed many injured students, not stopping for them even at the slightest. She probably even hit them without knowing - or rather, without caring with either her paws or dragon wings. She passed other students too, without even the faintest look towards them - including the students she met before, Abi and Alayah - but rather a roar for them to get out of her way. The stone was still safely in her pocket, but that didn't matter to the transformed girl right now in fact she probably already forgot about it. At the moment she was an animal that was trapped in a cage with nothing else on its mind except for escape.

OOC: Holy balls, this RP is moving nicely. I need to step it up. Also, gonna compress this a little.

Berial felt a flush of anger for a moment, but sighed and let it pass. "I'm his brother, I know how to get him out of this." Berial turned his head back toward his brother and leaned down, whispering something in Lucas's ear, inaudible to Rogan. "Looks like I got a good friend for you, he's got guts. Hopefully he passes some along to you." He put his regular look back on and stood up, already stepping back to the other students. "If you think you got this...be my guest." With that, he turned around and left Lucas to Rogan.
Lucas's body laid still, yet shaking, curled up on the ground.

The intense happenings around him had made Lucas crash. He wasn't prepared, his body had failed him and he sunk into a scared position. Suddenly, Lucas heard a voice, a friendly one within his mind’s darkness along with another voice telling them to run. In his mind he was witnessing the violence again. The gangs from home. One kid was holding a board and beating another child with it. The victim wasn’t fighting back anymore, just bleeding…writhing on the ground. He opened his mouth to yell stop, but nothing came out. He felt everything rush and his body being uprighted. His mind rushed back to reality, the sounds of real-life replacing his imagination's. After a beat, his eyes fluttered open a little and he looked over to see Rogan carrying him. "Th-thanks, Rogan."

Lucas felt some strength return and took his weight off of Rogan, easing his way back into normal walking. He wished there was something he could do but his Psychokinesis was too weak to be effective. Instead, he looked over at Rogan and muttered. "Why is this happening?" Lucas wondered where Berial was, but figured his brother would be able to handle himself.

Berial was being fairly evasive. He hadn't used his power yet but still marveled at Kendric using his Biokinesis, and at how quick he was stopped by the older man. He glanced over at Rogan carrying Lucas to ensure his brother's safety and returned to escaping.

Alayah glanced around as she heard the roar, just in time to see a blur of some sort of animal sprinting past. She gasped in surprise as it rushed past her, and watched as it galloped away on all fours. She had no idea what it was supposed to be, it seemed to have wings, fur, stripes, and... rabbit ears.
Alayah remembered Celeste then. The girl shapeshifter with white rabbit ears. She must have transformed.
"Oh good, she got away," Alayah said when she caught her breath. She worried her bottom lip and looked back again, wishing she could see Rogan do the same thing. But no such luck.
She turned back to Abi. "What should we do?" She asked. "We can't go back, of course. But we don't want to walk into some kinda trap or something, and we don't want to get lost." She looked around the tunnels. "I didn't even know this place existed," she said. How on earth were they going to get out of this one?

Rogan calmed down a little when Lucas thanked him and then stood up more on his own. He let out a small sigh of relief and a small smile. He was still stressed, he was still in mid-transformation, but he still felt just a little better.
"Why is this happening?" Lucas muttered, and Rogan couldn't think of a satisfactory answer. "I really don't know," he said. "They just took us into the basement, started attacking. I think they were gonna kill some of us. Then that weird voice recited some kind of spell and the teachers were disabled somehow."
Rogan glanced behind as they finally got to the tunnel entrance. "I think they're still blind, but I don't know how long it'll last. How are you holding up?"

At the sound of a roar Abi jumped to the side, staying next to the wall as something ran by. It appeared to be all sort of animals combined into one. And if it were not for the rabbit ears then she would swear it was a chimera that somehow got down here.

Her attention then returned to Alayah, nodding at the other's words. "Yeah...but since we can't go back there's only one thing to do..." Her head turned to look down the hall. Any traps here would surely be set off by the bunny eared one before them, which made her worry but also meant they would be safer. Still, just in case, an orchid colored aura surrounded her as she mustered up a ball of light. It would remain small until needed for she did not have the power to maintain a fully formed anything for too long.

"I can make this into a shield...if we need it." She held out her hand and it floated down above it, wobbling in the air as Abi continued forward. It flickered some but for the most part it remained whole. It would be draining but it would be easier to change its form on a moments notice then to create a whole shield at once.

Kendric looked towards Alastair then back towards the four who were still under the mysterious spell. It seemed that Alastair understood what it could do as well. "Maybe you're not as bad as you think. ...Whoever cast that spell had to be strong. Stronger than them." He responded, looking over to see the one with the guns reloading. Kendric shifted the weight of the girl on his shoulder to keep her from falling off. To him, she was light as a feather. His eyes shifted over towards Alastair, who was looking fatigued. 'He probably spent more energy than I have.' A roar was heard in the distance. Kendric figured that must have been Celeste. Even though it didn't sound human, obviously, it just sounded like the kind of roar she would make. It was weird being able to make the distinction, but he just could. He just hoped that nothing bad was happening to the others who were farther ahead.

"Come on, the faster we move, the less time they have to recover from this." They reached a larger room that branched off into several paths. There were others not too far ahead who had already taken one path. That wasn't everyone though. He was sure of it. "Um..." Kendric started towards the center path. "I can sense more people went this way." To be honest, there were only three students whose magical power had been raised enough for him to sense. Two of which went the way they were heading and one of those two he was sure to be Celeste. Her constant transformations made it a lot easier to track her.

'Oh right!' The golden aura that surrounded Kendric slowly died down until it faded entirely. When the others regained their senses, Kendric didn't want to be the one responsible for leading them towards the other students. "Can you feel that? Running into those four again wouldn't be pleasant." Kendric was referring to the energy being put out by the adults. At least they would be easy to avoid if they were that easy to sense and they were only getting farther and farther away. Things were starting to look up which only caused Kendric to faintly smile.

Of course, no words reached Nadine and Taras nor would they even reach Naomi. As they focused on increasing their strength the drowned out sounds of echoes began to ring in their ears. Their hearing was the first to start coming back. Whoever the spellcaster was, he or she must have been growing tired by keeping the spell active. Within a matter of seconds the hearing of the four adults would be restored...then the rest of their senses.

As the students continued to run, they would eventually come into a dead end...Their paths would converge. Whether it the tunnels were designed like this or whether it was a mere coincidence would be unknown to the children.

"I'm fine. Just had to get my bearings." Lucas replied to Rogan, looking over his shoulder after hearing more commotion...then silence. "It should be over by now." He said questioningly. He still felt odd about not attempting to help, but it'd be futile. He spent so much time studying and so little practicing that if he tried he could barely lift a quarter of his weight with Psychokinesis. He sighed and put it aside and continued walking. Eventually, Lucas came upon the end of the tunnel they were walking, reaching a dead end. The young man scanned the room, noticing several entrances seemingly from other tunnels.

The dead end with the pathways meeting together only pissed her off to a great extent.
"Are you kidding me?!" She shouted at the wall and turned to see students coming from the other pathways. "Why would you even design such a place to have NO EXIT."
Meara lifted up her hands as her blue aura started to shine and she punched the wall and attempted to shift the wall, instead the wall did not shift the way she intended, and she had to shift it back before the ceiling collapsed in. "There is metal in the wall! I can't work with metal, it's not one of my elements I am focusing on."
Meara rubbed her hands as the aura faded off and she shouted at the group, "Anybody have a better idea?"

Artan continued to run frantically, his mind disorientated from the confusion he had been thrust into. He had no idea where he was going, yet the concept of getting as far away from everyone else was a very promising idea - one he intended to act upon. With his trainers skidding along the dusty floor, he barely registered as he flew around a darkened corner that his trademark 'old man' glasses had flown out of his pocket and onto the floor with an almost satisfying crunch. Weaving his way over fallen rubble and disrepair, the familiar sting of fatigue and out-of-breath began to sting the insides of the ginger's lungs, forcing the young adult to slow and eventually stop.

Doubling over, the once adrenaline fueled legs that had carried him through the more modern areas of the basement had carried him into an area that was full of dust and dank plants that had somehow been able to grow through the almost impenetrable wall of stone. "Haa... H-Haa..." Shaking from how weary his body had become, his trembling fingers trailed through his hair in which shifted his middle parting to the left hand side of his head. "Think... Think Rabbit... Why would this happen.... We need to escape... We? Yes we... Grace..." Eyes widening, Artan sat up boltright as he realised the grave mistake in which he had made during his weakened moment of panic. He had left Grace within the crossfire! Grace, the stupid girl who thought she could do any kind of magic she wanted!!

Alayah nodded. "Let's hope we don't need it," she said before walking along in silence, trying to pay attention to her surroundings. It wouldn't do to have someone or something jump out of nowhere and catch them by surprise. She kept her hands in front of her protectively, ready to try and electrify anything that startled her. She just wasn't cut out for hand to hand combat, though. If anything did get close enough to hurt them, she would be fairly useless in a fight.
Fortunately, her skills were not needed, because after a short walk, the came to what appeared to be a dead end, with several other tunnels leading to it. Some of the other students were there. Alayah first felt relief; whatever happened, they would all be together. But then she felt a new fear. If all the tunnels led to a dead-end, that meant the whole escape had just been stalling for time. Once the teachers recovered from... whatever that weird spell had done to them, they would just come after the students through the tunnels.

Rogan followed Lucas in silence, taking the time to try and quiet his nerves and regain some semblance of control. It worked, by the time they reached the dead end, he was back to his normal self- except for he still had fur on the back of his hands. He didn't know why, but whenever he changed, the back of his hands were almost always the first to transform and the last to revert.
Sticking them in his pocket for the time being, he was able to look around calmly and assess the situation with a level head. A few of the other students were there, it seemed that all the tunnels led to the same place, the dead end. That meant the teachers would be after them shortly.
He spotted Alayah and smiled, catching her eye. She breathed an almost audible sigh of relief and smiled back. They were both here, they were both relatively safe for the moment. Rogan turned back to Lucas. "Well, that didn't accomplish much," he noted. "Except maybe a chance to regroup and prepare. That was crazy."

Not stopping her momentum and utter non-control Celeste had reached the dead end before any other student had. Still with a monster exterior and a very monster-angry mind, the creature grew frustrated at the wall. Its striking yellow eyes glanced back at the many hallways that lead to it, then quickly ran back one of them in top speed, and without stopping, roaring and lashing out at the walls with its claws hoping for escape but every time she would run through one hall, she'd find herself back at the place where all the bad guys were then if she took another, she'd find herself back at the dead end. Leaping back and dashing through hall to hall, it would just be the same. Bad guy place, dead end. Bad guy place, dead end.

The shapeshifter panted as it was standing on two feet with a hand resting on the wall beside her. The creature's eyes were now golden in colour, much less fierce than earlier and her paws and fur were now gone. The shapeshifting has began to revert, but only ever so slowly. She also still had those thick strong claws, dragon wings, fangs and of course, bunny ears. Her pupils were still in slits, and her mind was not even half in Celeste's control. She could finally see everything though, with her own mind - just looking but her actions still seemed involuntary. It felt like she was this ghost floating in an abyss as she looked on through a window which was the eyes of a monster. She could see the dead end again, then, she felt the snarl of the monster and a growl from her throat that erupted into a roar as the creature lunged itself forward towards the wall.

By this time, there were many students by the dead end - which was alarming. No, not the number of students but the fact that they were there because Celeste didn't exactly have control of what she was doing. She didn't know what would happen, what she could do to them. She would only be able to watch helplessly and have nothing she can do. As she closed in to the wall and the students, Celeste knew her powers' momentum wouldn't stop not even for a moment and the students didn't seem to realize she was coming. This was a problem. "Get out of the way! Please! I don't want to hurt you!" She began screaming, but of course, this was all in her head and not even a sound came out of the monster. It just kept getting closer - she didn't even have to see the students. She could feel them. 'No. No, this is bad. This is so bad. Celeste. You have to try. You have to do something!'

The teenager closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. She focused. She slowly began to feel the movement of her body - almost in sync. She could lightly feel the steps that she took, and she could feel the air around her. Just as she caught up behind the students that crowded around the dead end, she let out a loud, terrifying roar to make sure the students noticed her presence then she spread out the dragon wings on her back and leaped above them. 'I-I did it! That was me!! I didn't hurt them! Hooray! Yes!!' A smile was on her face as she rejoiced at this moment, but that's when she noticed even as happy as she was, she felt herself snarling and growling and she could hear herself roaring again. She did have that one moment of control again, even as a monster but it was over now. The monster clawed at the wall from above as it flew, trying to rip it apart which proved no use. Celeste sighed in her mind as the monster still tried to get through to no success, roaring and panting and trying to stay up in the air. At least no student got injured from her. She was probably destroying some of her body now, but that wasn't so important. This would be over soon - judging by how tired she already was. Her shapeshifting will probably come to an end soon, but of course, it wouldn't stop without its last fight. The monster began to fly back from the wall and ramming it with great force, still trying to bust it open. Celeste could already feel the pain of every time her body made contact of the wall, yet she didn't even try to stop it. She didn't have the energy to and she didn't want to. If this could do something to escape, then great but if not then it was still okay because this was one of the ways to get the monster out of her.

Sophia continued through the hall that she had taken when running away from the commotion. Thinking back, she remembered there being several paths to take. They all looked like they went in the same general direction, but it was also entirely possibly that the pathways twisted and turned in different directions along the way. What if she took a path that lead to something fatal? A hidden spike pit...Or some kind of trap door...No, now was not the time to be thinking things like that. First priority was to find Angela as soon as possible. As long as she was there, Sophia would feel safe. Sophia was tempted to try and look for Angela via psychokinesis, but she didn't want to risk tiring herself out. "Guess I'll have to use my eyes and ears for this one..."

She continued down the hallway, when finally she saw an opening in the distance. Could it be the way out? There was only one way to find out. Picking up her pace, Sophia finally exited the path she had taken before, coming to an area where all the paths seemed to converge. Several others had also made it there. Above all of that, however...Was the dead end she had reached. Sophia's heart sunk as the large wall blocked any hope of escape. "This...Can't be happening..." She choked, tightening her fists. She wanted to break down and cry right there...But she had to be strong. She'd be dead meat if she gave up now. Ignoring the wall, Sophia looked around frantically for her friend. Seeing the others, Sophia thought that she should perhaps...Interact with them somehow. "No...Not now. Angela comes first." Seeing as Angela hadn't made it yet, Sophia walked over to a wall and pushed her back back up against it before sitting down. She sighed. "I hope you made it out...Please don't leave me here to die."

Drei soon arrived at the wall along with the others who'd gotten their before him. Who put's a wall at the end of a tunnel, they weren't in some sort of tomb so that just seemed pointless to him. Great, what're we supposed to do now. He figured that more student would be showing up soon enough, but how long did they have until the teachers showed up. It definitely wouldn't end well if they ended up trapped between evil teachers and a solid wall.
