Zauriel's right eyebrow cocked at Mya's question. "What do you mean? My body doesn't do anything when I encounter new things," he replied, confused at her inquiry. He tilted his head to the side before he realized what she had meant. He let out a laugh. "Oh, no, silly Mya. I am a Shapeshifter, yes. I can transform myself when I wish for a variety of reasons. But you want to know about why my appearance constantly changes, do you not? Well, that's easy!" He jumped back with his arms in the air. "My dear Mya. We are mere specks in a giant universe, a glorious and grand universe. Specks, but also a part of it. We are...how would you say it, organs inside a living being. Each organ by itself is irrelevant and a living being with no organs isn't living, right? We exist together to compose the universe and the universe exists singularly so we can exist. I do not 'encounter' new things, Mya, I am simply one with my surroundings. I am always in tune with my environment -which includes both things and people- as much as possible because I am a part of the environment, which is a part of the universe. I am blessed to be a Shapeshifter because it allows my outer appearance to physically show these truths as I know them spiritually. I'm part of my environment so when it changes, I change. Simple, right? Not to mention, enlightening," he grinned at the end of his metaphysical may-not-be-so-true explanation.

There was much more to his perspective of the universe, but at that point, they were ushered into the elevator. "Come on, Friend Mya and Friend Drei! Or time will move on without us...and I am already separated from my class! I do not wish to be separated from everyone else!" He laughed the last statement as he pulled his two new companions into the elevator. Once again, he had that feeling...about something...or someone...that was...here?

As they walked out of the elevator, Zauriel's skin lost its hue, becoming gray. His eyes changed to a pale blue. He saw the opportunity to demonstrate to Mya his earlier explanation and turned to face her, now showing her his gray horns (which were previously bronze-colored) sticking out of his green hair, now a much paler shade of green. "See? One with my surroundin-"

"What?!" Despite his natural go-with-the-flow attitude, the announcement caught Zauriel by surprise. His skin returned to its natural color and his eyes started to flash between the red of the alarm, the blue of the wall's glow, and its natural green. His hair became a dark green, his horns thinned, the points of his ears became more prominent, and his fingernails embedded themselves into his fingers almost instantly to become claws. He began to sweat as his magic usage started to show.

"Profes-" He was interrupted by a fellow student's complete beating and another student's, a Shapeshifter like himself by the looks of it, rush to his aid. "Kendric?" There it was. The feeling from earlier. Kendric...he didn't know the student very well, but Zauriel did know him. He was another 'friend,' like Mya and Drei now were. Sure, they didn't spend enough time together to be considered great friends, and Zauriel was definitely the type to call someone 'friend' immediately upon meeting them, but Kendric? Kendric resonated with Zauriel. Something about his care-free personality reminded Zauriel of one who was in unity with the universe, like himself, so little matters like armies, wars, politics, even academics seemed too irrelevant. He had heard Kendric's name on the intercom and must have sensed him nearby, but did not notice until now...when Kendric got his rear handed to him by their beloved Professor.

"What is the meaning of all this?!" He demanded loudly, stepping forward. He reared his teeth, revealing that they were now fangs. He could feel his bones slightly shifting, simply waiting for the cue to fully transform. "Professors Fey and Lockhart, WHAT IS THE MEANING OF ALL THIS?!"

Mya nodded at his explanation. It was really long and complicated, but she got the main jist of it. It was very facinating. I see. Becoming part of the things around you...it sounds amazing. It sounds awesome. Man I wish I could be something like you. It get's boring around here just as a normal human...not saying being human is all bad and stuff...She followed him into the elevator.
Humming a quiet tune, she noticed him shift slightly again. Wow...I see what you mean now! It's-
Wait what was that? President? What's happening?
She flinched as she heard Zauriel change his tone. The happy, light person suddenly had an aggressive aura around him and also shifting to something a lot more terrifying. It made Mya feel scared and worried. Stop Zauriel! Calm down! You're gonna hurt yourselves and others! She tugged on his arm, trying to calm him down.

OOC: SO much has been happening. College stuff...WOLF leaked...actually that's about it. But I'm here NOW.

"Yeah...thanks." Lucas said in reply to Rogan. he smiled at the word friend. He had never had many friends, and he definitely didn't have any in school but now he felt more relaxed. He continued the walk, studying the architecture of the building as the group shifted. His eyes rested on Berial for a moment and he wondered what his brother was thinking. Did his brother even care about the beauty of the building they were in? The history of its relics? Or what about the people in it? The other students of the school had to know him or at least have heard of him but Berial turned a blind eye to everything that wasn't him. They were brothers, twins at that! They should know everything about each other, but felt like the most distant strangers to one another.

Lucas shook the thought and gathered his wits as the group moved into the elevator. He glanced at Rogan being hounded by Alayah, who was apparently his sister. He chukled a little and turned his head. So it seemed even his considerate, newfound friend could be annoyed by a sibling. He shifted a little from foot to foot. He watched the elevator and saw they were headed for basement level apparently. Wouldn't they watch the festivities from a high vantage point. Oh, no. He could feel his anxiety coming. He took the first deep breath but it didn't help. Lucas closed his eyes and shoved his hands into his pockets, he had to calm down. If he had a meltdown now, he'd blow his chance at a friend. He'd embarass Berial, and that just wouldn't be wise. As the elevator opened, he stepped out nervously and hung toward the back of the group.

    "Lockown- President- Attacked."

The words didn't fully register with Lucas but what happened next did. In a flash, he saw a fellow student hurtle through the air and into the steel doors of the elevator. Kendric. He hadn't met him before but he was someone important to the girl who rushed to his aid. He saw the pain Kendric was in, he had trouble breathing in the dense, cold air. This was the breaking point for Lucas. He tried his best to withhold it so it didn't come out audible, but it happened silently. A full on anxiety attack. He grabbed both sides of his head and groaned before collapsing to the ground, curling up with his knees to his chest. He had shut down, only quivering slightly with his eyes wide open.

Berial had been on auto-pilot for the trip mostly since he had pushed Lucas away. He had a checklist going in his mind. More calisthenics and cardio, less weightlifting. He had the strength, he needed the speed and mobility. He also had to take some strain off his muscles. The boy hadn't told anyone, but the last time he tried to push his power, he suffered a seizure. It was weak enough for him to not require aid but it struck fear into him. He realized just how strenuous these powers could be and just how far out of reach his dream was. However, he had been trying Yoga recently and had gotten pretty good. It was stress-relieving and was a good source of exercise. Flexibility had been important to him too since he last spoke to his father. Apparently he was building Berial an obstacle course to run when he came to visit again. It sounded coo- BUMP- Berial had brushed shoulders with Lucas again and rolled his eyes. He never really intends to look down on his brother...it's almost like Lucas makes him act this way.

As they entered the building, Berial didn't gawk so much. The youth could appreciate the Tower for sure, but he wasn't interested in the war. He just chose to glance at the notable features and follow along with the group. It wasn't a hard task, the rest of the students moved pretty quickly. They entered the elevator, giving Berial a chance to lean on the wall as they went...down? It was odd, but he didn't think much of it. The doors opened and he stepped out, just as confused as the rest of the group but skilled in not showing it. Within moments the announcement blared.

"A lockdown has been initiated. The President of Lorima has been attacked."

Before the message could register with Berial he turned his head and saw Kendric flying into the elevator doors. He stared at Professor Fey. What could motivate her to do this. Why had these students been picked to be taken instead of the others at school? Were they going to be killed? Were they going to be hosages for the attackers of the President? He hear a loud Thump! come from behind the group and looked back to see Lucas crumpled on the ground. Another anxiety attack...he knew this moment too well. But right now, Berial had no patience for it. He made himself shrink from the group and walked back, wasting no time to kick the ball that was his brother. "Look, Lucas. This is a serious moment rght now. Wake. Up." He crouched down and spoke closer to Lucas's head, knowing his brother's mind was elsewhere. "This is not the time for you to have one of your 'freak attacks'! Get over your little meltdown and get your ass up! Now."

OOC: Hey, so I finally got a few really crappy banners made. Of course, they're nowhere near as awesome and cool as most of them here, but hey, they're almost adequate. And they give the general idea of what my OC's look like, so meh... if you don't like 'em, you can fix 'em, and I'll go back and replace them, like I went back and added them just now.

All thoughts of self-control were lost when Rogan sensed movement next to him and opened his eyes to find Lucas on the floor, obviously having some sort of panic-attack while the other guy, the brother, crouched over him and threatened him, trying to scare him out of a panic attack. Friend or no, that was just ignorant and sick. With a small roar, he felt himself drastically shift, his hair growing out longer than usual as whiskers and a snout made it's way to his face. The yellow eyes of a lion flashed dangerously and his hands (now lion's paws) extended their claws as he scowled at the brother.
"Idiot!" He snarled, showing his newly acquired lion's fangs. "You think intimidating him will help? The only thing a threat accomplishes is proof of the coward standing behind it!"
Rogan suddenly realized what he was doing and took a shuddering breath, retracting his claws. He managed to halt the continuation of the shift, but he would be stuck as a half-lion until he calmed down. This could not have happened at a worse moment, he thought.
Still glaring at the brother, he lowered his voice to a low growl. "This is not the time," he said, repeating the words he'd heard a moment before. "To threaten your brother. Now back off."

    NAOMI LOCKHART
Naomi shook her head, hating it whenever Nadine thought of herself as big amongst the others. She was much too full of herself, even with her skill level and that was just something she couldn’t stand in anyone. ‘She should get that air out of her head some time. I’d be more than glad to be able to do it myself one of these days…’

Catching the stone, she made her way passed the student, not caring to excuse herself as she pushed passed them. She ignored every one of their pleas for answers and escape, not bothering to even care about what was to happen to them. ‘All part of the plan. Nothing I can do about it, you little brats.’ Not like she would have lifted a finger to help them anyways. They weren’t her children and all she needed to worry about was herself and nothing more.

She looked back, seeing those foolish students who thought to stand up to the teachers. ‘They never learn. Such idiots they can be. And in doing so, it’ll just make them die that much faster.’

She couldn’t help but grin at the thought of it, her dark conjuration appearing around her as a thin shield against the student. Not that she needed it since she had quick reflexes. But she couldn’t have anything happen to the stone she held in her hands. Plus, it would be a nice treat to be able to beat one of these kids without consequences like the others were. What a glorious day.

Grace instantly took hold of Artan, pulling him away from the door and covering his mouth so he could no longer scream. She didn’t want anything to happen to him like it did to Kendric. She shook her head as she watched on the floor, her face saddening.

Although he was her mortal enemy, she couldn’t believe that something like this had happened and it pained her to see how hurt he was. She looked over to Celeste before pouting once more. ‘No doubt she is going to help him. My duty right now anyways is watching over my own friend.

She soon turned away, pulling Artan along with her back into the crowd. “It’s best we just not draw too much attention to ourselves. I wouldn’t want you to end up down on the ground like some of the others.” She stroked his hair, hoping it would calm him down. If she could get him to do so, then she herself can be calm as well.

She looked over to the teachers, not knowing what it is they planned to do. “I wonder why they choose us. And why me? They must have known I was the daughter of Wendel’s president. How can they believe to get away with this? My father would never believe I could have done such a thing.” She whispered to her friend, slowly letting go of him to see if he would freak out or not. “This is just so odd. I don’t plan to die here like this and allow them to do as they please.”

She took Artan’s hand, placing it to her forehead and seeming as though she was in prayer. “No matter what, I will protect you. Just like I promised to do so since the day we met. You have nothing to fear, so long as we are together.” She smiled at him, hoping he would be more relaxed now.

Ayer couldn’t believe what was going on. This seemingly blissful day had so suddenly turned into complete horror. ‘What on earth are they doing?!’ He exclaimed in his mind, confused as hell as to what they professors had been planning this whole time. Hitting students and blaming them for this attack?! They surely wouldn’t get away with it.

But instead of freaking out like most were, he decided it was best to keep a clear head for the sake of the girls. As Angela left with Sophia, Ayer decided to keep a close watch over her sister Luna and friend Sora. ‘This is the least I can do for the time being.’

He looked around the room, trying to see if there was any means for escape that wasn’t just the elevator. ‘There has to be something. Somewhere to get out from. Or at least some kind of weak spot we can hit. This can’t just be a one entrance room, can it?’ Oh, how he wished he could explore around somehow and protect the girls at the same time. But that was pretty impossible at this point.

"Ugh...Did I trip?" Kendric knew that it wasn't the right answer, but it was the answer he wanted it to be. He felt the push, the sudden increase of Professor Fey's power as she flung him like a ragdoll into the elevator. Even through his daze he could hear the others freak out and demand answers from their teacher. She had said something about a ritual. As Kendric opened one of his eyes he caught a glimpse of a black stone fly into another teacher's hand. Whatever it was, it must have been important because Naomi had conjured a barrier.

This was all wrong. How could they suddenly just do that to them? Kendric felt himself being shaken. He stirred(Stark. Kendric Stark. *James Bond joke*) and pushed himself up to sit. Celeste wanted him to do something about the situation but he wasn't even sure if he could. Rather than tell her he could do nothing, Kendric placed a hand on her shoulder and smiled faintly at her. "Don't worry. Nobody else is-" His eyes shifted over towards Alastair. It seemed that he too had been knocked down. Kendric was a Biokinetic, his body could take things that would kill other people, getting hit was no big deal for him but when others got hurt that was when he had to act. "-going to get hurt." He finished.

Kendric took in a deep breath, thinking of what he could possibly do. He closed his eyes, focusing on just one solitary thing. That thing was-

"Getting soft? It would not have taken any more effort to kill him for charging like that." Nadine told her colleague, Sarah. Nadine sighed and placed her other hand on her hip, watching as one girl tried to be smart by thinking that the blame could be shifted back towards them. No one would believe a bunch of children when all the evidence would point towards them being the ones to attack the Tower. Nadine could have told Maera this but she thought it would be more amusing to allow the girl to believe that there was a chance that things could go back to normal.

Then there was Zauriel. The boy was angry with them. Too angry. 'We don't need all of them alive.' Nadine pointed her finger towards Zauriel, intending to make another example. "I'm afraid you won't get to live to see what we have in store for this world." A dull green glow began to surround Nadine as she drew on her power. One stab of telekinetic power was all she'd need.

Power. 'Twenty times should be enough.' Kendric was glad that he was at the far back of the group since he had been thrown into the elevator doors. He had no intention of actually fighting. He wasn't sure what the upper limit of his power was, but even if it was higher than either of the teacher's, there was still three people he would have to deal with. Then there was the fact that he was the farthest thing possible from being a fighter. "Ever heard of the game, Keep Away?" Kendric asked Celeste, his golden aura already beginning to show as his own strength finally reached his desired level. He grinned at the girl. Then, he was gone.

He blitzed past Nadine and the other woman, taking advantage of his superior speed as he crashed his way through the barrier Naomi had constructed, using his body as a battering ram. "I'm not sure why you need a stone like this, but I'm guessing without it you can't do anything." Kendric held up the black stone in his hand in front of the adults, having just stolen it from Naomi. "If you want it back, try and catch me." If he moved fast enough, they wouldn't have time to threaten the others. They would be forced to chase him. At least...he hoped.

Kendric turned to make a run for it. Now that he was farther away from the others, he could see that the stone hallways split into at least a dozen different paths up ahead. It was a maze. He had only gotten at least a few dozen meters from the group when he felt a strong force grab him by the arm stopping him dead in his tracks. His eyes widened as his sudden burst of strength suddenly faded from losing his concentration. The golden aura that had emerged faded away in an instant as he turned to see who had brought him to a halt. "Y-you!"

It was Taras. The bodyguard to the president of Wendel. He had been the one to manipulate security in the Tower to get their plans this far. He also happened to be the most powerful Biokinetic around. "Nice try, boy." The man smirked and without hesitation, chucked Kendric right to the feet of the women he had just tried to escape from, landing with a painful crash. Taras appeared beside Naomi an instant later and shook his head. "Give that stone back now and maybe we'll only kill just one of you."

"I never realized that I was teaching a bunch of arrogant brats this whole time." Nadine lowered her hand, deciding to kill Zauriel later. "I've had enough of this. I told you children to mind your behavior and look at how you've acted!" First she would kill Kendric, then Zauriel, then Maera, then Alastair. Regardless of how Sarah might have felt about killing her son(Alastair), Nadine believed it was time to teach the students a lesson.

A voice spoke to everyone in the hallway. Its gender was indistinguishable and its source emanated from their very minds. The spell that had echoed in their minds distorted the senses of those who had a great deal of darkness in their hearts. Those who wished to do harm to others, those who were selfish, they were the ones receiving the effects of this spell. The others who were not affected by the spell would see and feel nothing change. Those who were tainted by evil, like Nadine, Taras, Naomi, and Sarah would not be able to see anything but a bright white light. Their sense of hearing would be stripped and their ability to sense magic would be taken from them while the spell was still active.

Now was the time to run.

Well, that was just BLOODY brilliant. First, a detour to the underground floor. Then, the president gets attacked. And then, everyone in the building was in danger, including them. Not exactly a normal day for him. But wait, there was more! Turns out that Nadine and some others were evil, and they knocked some heads in as Poke had to watch, not able to do anything! This day couldn't possibly get any worse. Immediately, Poke regretted saying that, because it always got worse. But not this time.

'"Tiuj de malluma koroj, vidi nur lumo. Run now, children!"

Turns out that it just got better for them. He looked around, trying to find the source of the noise, but he realized it came from him. Or his head, to be more specific. He glanced at Nadine and three others. Something seemed different about them.

No time for messing around. Always obey strange voices coming from your head. "Time to go, guys!" He ran towards the elevator and tried to open it. No dice. He gave it a kick. Well, that hurt a lot. He looked back at the four adults.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather take the elevator than go further in to this place. Please tell me someone here can open this damn door." Poke didn't have the power to do it, and even if he did, it'd probably leave him in great fatigue. How would he be useful if he was tired?

Artan's eyes remained as wide as saucers, the hazel pools darting around the room in fright and hysteria in as if they themselves were attempting to leave his sockets and run away. However there was always something about Grace's cool and calming touch that soothed his entire being, the harsh and grated edges of fear being numbed and softened down to the point where the ginger lad was able to think clearly again past the previous outburst. Yet everything about what everyone else was talking about had begun to unnerve him even more than the sight of his classmate be attacked and crumple to the floor. 'What if that was me...?'
He continuous thought, unable to shake the horrific idea from his mind. 'What if that was me that had been attacked then? I could of died! I don't want to die... I don't want to die!!' Almost too soon again did Artan's thought become rapid, him unable to stop thinking about the gruesome outcomes that fluttered his mind like butterflies in the summer. Everyone was talking about death. Everyone was talking about not wanting to die. To stick together and keep calm... They would survive this ritual... right...? Feebly his heart began to hammer in his chest, the events unfolding around him having no affect as he remained lost within a dreamy world that was composed of his nightmares. Artan Everette was a good boy - he'd done nothing wrong to deserve this! He'd done nothing! Yet through this daze, only one thing managed to pierce it.

"Tiuj de malluma koroj, vidi nur lumo."
    "Run now, children!"
And that was all it took. Eyes widening to pin pricks, Artan barely glanced at Grace before suddenly and violently shoving her away, not wanting her touch any more. She was going to drag him down... She wasn't to be trusted! No one was! It was all for one and no one was going to get him killed! "Leave me alone... Don't touch me! Go die!" He shrieked before rushing down another corridor contrasting to Kendric's, going in the opposite direction. Following the twists and turns, his hazy mind barely realised that he was rushing himself into a labyrinth with no hope of finding his way out. Not even the calls that would most likely arrive calm him enough to stop. 'I'm not going to die... I'm not going to die... Everyone else can... I don't want to die!!'

Alastair stood, he didn’t want to run, but he knew he would have to, but he wouldn’t be the first to leave, he had to make sure the others escaped, if the spell holding them back stopped he would test his new water magic on them, it probably wouldn’t work but the others needed as much time as possible. “GET OUT NOW!!!” he shouted to everyone who might be too terrified to move.

Sarah sighed “Knew there would be an escape attempt” she said, she couldn’t see, or hear or sense magic, but these weren’t soldier’s, they weren’t coordinated, they were terrified children, at least most of them were. At that moment she summoned a ball of wind surrounded by rock and kept compressing it more and more as the layers of pressure built within it, it wouldn’t last long but she didn’t need it to and flung it at the elevators direction just as the door opened and flung it inside, as it flew past the students and into the elevator were the rock outside of the ball gave way as the compressed air was released violently destroying the elevator car.

As soon as those words were heard, Angela knew it was bad news. She got up and pulled Sophia with her. "Sophia! Run and don't wait for me! I'm going to get Luna and Ayer! We'll meet up later!" She bolted ahead towards her little sister. "Luna! Come on!"
"Yeah! Sora, come with us! You too Ayer!" Luna pleaded, being dragged along by Angela. They kept going for a few moments, before Luna saw Julia screaming and holding her head. "Angie! Look!"
"Oh god dammit! Julia!" Angela ran to her sister and attempted to pull her. "Come on we have to go! We can't stay here! MOVE IT!"

Julia, meanwhile, felt a tug on her arm, but she couldn't see who it was, nor hear who was pulling her. She couldn't do anything but scream in horror.

Angela struggled feebly. "Julia, come on! Just follow m-"
"PLEASE! ANGELA! LUNA! I CAN'T SEE OR HEAR! AAAHHHHH!!!!"
"..." Angela looked away and let go. "Julia, I'm sorry... I-I have to get Luna to safety... I can't help you..." No matter how much she hated her, nor how awful Julia really was, Angela cared for her big sister deeply. She remembered the good old days, before Luna had lost control. All the walks in the park, all the ice cream they'd eat. Not only had they been sisters, they were each other's best friend. Julia would always offer and sacrifice her own time to hang out with her little sister. Then, after that fateful day, Julia grew distant. She wanted nothing to do with anyone anymore. It had torn Angela's heart out, and forced her to look after Luna herself, because other than each other, they had no one. Angela gave her sister one last hug and went up to Luna. "Lu... Come on!" She dragged her by the arm.

Moments before, as soon as Luna had heard Julia's plead, she knew she was really scared. She could apparently not see nor hear, and, by the looks of how freaked out, she couldn't sense magic either. Luna saw Angela attempt to help, but then give up. Angela was really upset by the looks of it, because she had actually hugged Julia. But, they hated each other! Or... did Angela really care for her? Tears filled her eyes as she realized her family was going to be separated. Her sisters, the only family she had left, would lose the oldest. She felt herself dragged by Angela. More tears streamed out, and she looked back at Julia. "J-JULIAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" She screamed, reaching back at her oldest sister, before she disappeared from view as they all ran down the hall.

There is was, they were given a chance to escape had he was stuck standing still. Every part of his body wanted to run, but he couldn't do it, instead he turned towards his new friends. There was no way that he could just leave them, he would just have to take them with him. "Come on." Grabbing both Mya's and Zauriel's arms, he dragged them with him as he ran. His friends situation was fine, now they just needed to get away from here.

Meara blinked slowly when she first heard the words, then she saw a couple kids move. Meara had this clear feeling that the elevator was the last place she should go, considering it was no longer an elevator. Instead she found herself bolting instinctively forward, past the teachers, unmoving and distant in their minds, and straight ahead.

Meara found herself in an open area where she collapsed to the ground shaking in terror at the events that had occurred and were still occurring. She was not paying attention to who was around her, rather she was more focused on herself. She touched the ground and closed her eyes whispering to herself,
"Why in the name of Nüwa were we picked for this thing? There has to be a reason at this point because they said it was a secret earlier."

"GOT IT!" He finally managed to force the elevator doors open. He turned back to tell everyone, but all he saw was a boulder headed his way. "WHOA!" He ducked just in time. A moment too soon and he would've been hit. Looking back, he saw the boulder explode and destroy the elevator. "OH C'MON!" He looked at everyone else, and noticed some where running the opposite direction. "God damnit, no choice now." He ran off in the direction, but he saw someone shove someone else out of his way, then that person ran off.

He ran towards the girl(Grace), and asked, "You alright? What happened there?"

Zelos watched as some of the other students took off running away from the teachers. While there were some who haven't left, he decided to help one of them. So he went over to the nearest girl (Julia) and offered to help her. "Do you want some help?" It was a few moment before he realize that she couldn't hear him at all. So instead of standing there like an idiot, he simply picked her up bridal style and carried her off to safety.

Sora ran after the spell had been cast by some mysterious entity. She ran alongside the others. She hadn't known what happened. All she could think of was the fear consuming her from what the teachers, her mentors, had done. The presidents death was bad enough but putting the blame on the students was even worse. Slight tears rolled down her face as she tried hard to run fast.
    "J-JULIAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
She turned to see Luna falling behind calling for her sister. Luna ran back and grabbed a hold of her. She screamed back to her. "Luna! I know she is important, but we have to go, before they are freed and kill us!" She pulled her in and continued to run.
Something was missing however. Someone was not in the group with them. Sora stopped and looked around at the others. "W-where's Zillia? Where is Zillia!?" She looked back to where the elevator was. "I have to go save her!"
Zillia saw a bright light. All sound had vanished and her vision could only see a black emptiness of some sort. She tried to look at her hands. Not even those were visible to her. "W-why cant I see? Why can I not even hear myself speak? Is this my punishment for all the hatred inside me?" She was left in the darkness with void eyes and empty emotions. She fell to her knees and covered her head in fear to what was to come. "Whatever happens, save Sora."

When Kendric spoke to her then immediately left her side, lunging himself forward at all the bad guys she wanted to go after him, but she stayed where she was, on her knees and watched in horror. She looked down at her sharpened claws, her dragon wings and felt her ears twitch. How was she going to help anyone now? She was a monster. Her shapeshifting always limited her to so much - at least that's what she thought. In combat, everything is at your control. A soldier of the army chooses what he or she would do in the given situation - shapeshifting was against that, at least her shapeshifting was. She couldn't control it, it controlled her.

The pale-blue color in her eyes disappeared when she saw a new man appear - obviously evil - and violently throw Kendric back at the bad guys. Her eye brows furrowed and the fur on her rabbit ears spiked like an angry cat. Her eyes turned into one of a panther's - a striking, light yellow whileHer nails extended out into thicker, stronger claws. She felt the wings on her back expand, growing in length from just baby dragon wings to wings strong enough to carry her. A weird feeling was coming from her throat, a mild vibration that soon released this faintly audible growl that only her rabbit ears could pick up.
"Tiuj de malluma koroj, vidi nur lumo."

    "Run now, children!"

Celeste blinked upon hearing that announcement, as if finally getting back to her old self. Her eyes reverted to their normal ruby shade, but when she looked down at her new, more exaggerated transformations she only got angry with herself. 'This is not the time for me to loose control.' The teenage shapeshifter got to her feet. The other students started to move around her. She glanced at each one, some still didn't move while others ran out desperately. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. She tried to focus now, talking to herself in her mind sternly 'This is not a drill. This is a war zone. Follow your orders, Soldier. Run. But you do not leave a soldier behind.' She opens her eyes to look down at Kendric who was at quite a distance away, on the floor, possibly in pain and still in the hands of the bad guys.'Only you can chose your fate in the battlefield.'

Just then, she saw this great sphere or rocks coming straight at her. In a split second, her dragon wings opened up, spreading out to both of her sides and flapped once with great force launching Celeste up into the air. Not in control of the moment, her wings carried her up with too much force and she slammed against the ceiling. Once the elemental ball crashed into the elevators, the bunny-eared girl fell to the ground, her wings almost immediately retracting completely into her body and disappearing. That was one of her only ways to get rid of her transformations - a knock out. This wasn't one, but since her back was the one that made contact to the ceiling that almost literally knocked out her wings. She shakily got to her feet again, she could still feel her body changing. She felt the palms of her hands harden, almost into the paws of a bear while the layers of her skin was surged with this tingly feeling, as if fur wanted to coat her body. She shook her head. No. She knew she had to get out before the shapeshifting took over her mind.

She swallowed first before she stepped forward and ran towards the evil doers. As they were obviously distracted by some sort of magic that did not affect most of the students, she stood amongst them beside Kendric and grabbed the fabric over his shoulders - careful not to grab any skin as her claws would immediately pierce through it like how she was making little claw holes already at his clothes. "Get up! We need to get moving! Keep that stone, we might be able to use it." she orders as she hauled him up to his feet. Thank goodness he still had fight left in him and she had some animal strength, she wouldn't possibly be actually able to carry the guy. Once he was ready to go, Celeste took off at one of the hallways ahead of them - not being too picky about where she was going, really. She looked back at her friend for a moment, making sure he was by her. That's when she could feel the weird feeling at her throat again and her eyes beginning to change its colour. She tried to shake it off but it was no use. She could feel all the changes - from the bones and muscles in her body, to her body's exterior which began to morph slightly with the thinnest, not exactly evident layer of fur appearing. She released another faintly audible growl - but one a little louder than the last - out of frustration with herself. She had her moment of control back there, but now it was her power's turn to control her.

"Tiuj de malluma koroj, vidi nur lumo."
    "Run now, children!"
Those words echoed in Sophia's mind. Where did they come from? Who did they come from? Those questions remained unanswered for the time being, but one thing was for sure: The voice was right. She needed to get out of there.

"Sophia! Run and don't wait for me! I'm going to get Luna and Ayer! We'll meet up later!"

Sophia was torn. Could she really just leave her best friend behind? There was no time to think. She had to go now, or something bad could happen. "R-Right! Please hurry, Angela!" Sophia said before taking off down the hallway as fast as she could. The other students who ran were quite a ways ahead of her, but, looking back, it looked as if some had been overtaken by some kind of spell. In fact, she did see Julia freaking out. Perhaps it was a spell that only worked on jerks? Whatever the case, she had taken the opportunity to run like hell away from the chaos. As she ran, Sophia took quick looks back to see if Angela had caught up yet. She couldn't tell, and she was too worked up to try and use her psychokinesis to find her friend. "Angela...Please...Just listen to the voice and run!"

Alayah looked around the room in a panic when she heard the strange voice and the spell. The teachers seemed to be struggling, and mass pandemonium broke out as the elevator was destroyed and students began running into the labyrinth of corridors behind them, as all around her people were panicking.
"W-we have to get out of here!" She stated for the benefit of herself as much as anyone around her. "A-Abi, where are you?" She looked around, Abi was probably somewhere close by, she must've been right behind her as they stepped off the elevator.

Rogan turned and ignored the brother when he heard the voice telling him to run. Apparently, everyone else heard it too, because one of the teachers blew up the elevator and the students all went crazy crying out, running, yelling... it was all so noisy.
Rogan growled in frustration, his lion ears twitching and turning instinctively, always facing the newest sound. He was barely keeping from a full-out transformation, all the stress and the lights and the sirens, the yelling, crying, crazed group of students, and the anger and frustration he was feeling was making it hard to focus.
Turning, he knelt down next to Lucas.
"Hey, Lucas," he said, trying to keep the natural growl of the lion out of his tone. "I know everything's all freaked and crazy right now, but I need you to try to focus, alright? We've gotta get outta here."
He turned and looked as more students fled the open area. He didn't know how long this spell would last, but he knew that the teachers would be furious, and would take their fury out on any unfortunate students that they saw when it faded.
"I need you to focus on my voice," Rogan said, as calmly as he could, turning back to Lucas. "Drown out all the lights and the screams and the sirens... and focus on me. I'm gonna try and help you stand up now, alright? You keep trying to focus. We're gonna get outta here."
Rogan glanced back over his shoulder to see how many students were left. He couldn't help all of them. His whiskers twitched in frustration. He simply had no time.

Even though she was blinded, deaf and unable to sense magic Sarah was still a dangerous threat and knew the students were running away towards the tunnels since the elevator was now gone, she drew both her guns and without speaking she calmly aimed at the entrance, she started taking pot shots at the entrance as the sound of her guns shooting echoed through the basement. Alastair blocked what he could with water magic by creating walls of water between the students and aggressor, but he was exhausted by Sarah’s earlier attack and his spells were slow to form as bullets got past his defence. As soon as the gun clips were empty Sarah stopped firing the guns and dropped them as she used wind magic to create a blast of air that swept through the basement knocking anyone unprepared off their feet. She then fire magic to summon fire balls and launched them in random directions hoping to hit anyone remaining.

Alastair was sent flying from Sarah’s wind attack and landed on his back and injuring his leg, he was unable to protect the students anymore from the fire balls as they scattered across the room, he had done all he could as he made his way towards the tunnel, shielding himself and others until he reached the tunnel. Once there he gave up on trying to protect the others and simple limped through the tunnel, but he kept an eye on the rear of the escapees making sure that the teachers and their allies didn’t catch up.

When the kid who had been knocked down started to speak again Abi was hit with a wave of relief. She thought surely he was either too wounded to move again or even dead. But her attention did not stay on him for too long for the professor started to speak again. And then it looked like another one was going to get hurt.

I should do something. I could make a shield, but to make one strong enough to stop a teacher's attack...

But could she really throw her life away for another? Even after all the time spent thinking about how worthless her life was she didn't have the nerve to throw it away. Not without thought at least.

Though, what she would have decided to do then would remain unseen as the boy from before vanished. He got the stone but before even one of the teachers could chase after him another appeared. Just their luck.

So...this is how I'm going to die...

She closed her eyes, willing to accept her fate when a new voice was heard. Her eyelids shot open and she looked around, seeing no one new. Then one of the group took of shouting. It was the obvious thing to do and yet she blinked as he went, shocked by how uncaring the lad was about the rest of them. Luckily, however, someone else shoutings snapped her out of it and Abi was able to move forward, though only to be knocked into the wall by a passing wind and earth spell, or whatever it was.

Pain racked through her body and blood was coming from somewhere. Her mouth? Arm? Possibly both. But it hadn't been a direct hit and with adrenaline she was able to pull herself to her feet. After doing so she heard her name and saw her newly made friend looking for her.

Running towards Alayah the small girl grabbed the other's arm, pulling the other in the direction away from the elevator. The tug was only to get her attention and get her running so she only held on for a moment. But when she reached the crossroads she stopped and looked back to Alayah. "W-we have to go now."

Most of the others were already gone. Surely the rest could get to safety too. So it was time to focus on herself. But before she picked a way to go she just had to make sure the other was following. After that she picked the hall to the right, as she was clinging to that wall all along anyway.
