Mya clenched her fists. His comment infuriated her. Here she was offering a guaranteed place of safety and he accuses her dad of being worthless to help. "Look, I don't know how my chances are and to be honest, I don't care. My father isn't like that. He WILL help us. He wouldn't sit there and see us die. For god sake, he may be a politician, but he has common sense! Don't say what you don't know! My father won't betray me like that! He's smart enough to know the truth!" Mya rarely got angry, but when she did, people listened.
She shook her head before she stared angrily at Kendric. "If you're that concerned, then don't go at all. I'll just go by myself. I don't want someone to go with me with a head full of doubts and mistrust. Besides, if I am wrong, and only IF..." She broke her gaze with him and looked down, a sad look over her face. "Then let it be. I shall be the only one to bear the consequences of my naive choices." She spoke it quiet enough so only Kendric could hear it. She then looked back up with her angry expression, hiding what she just said to him. "I'll leave tomorrow morning. The rest of you can go to the city. Now get some rest everybody. We won't be welcome here once it hits morning." On that note, she left the room and into an unoccupied bedroom, staring at the floor. You wouldn't betray me...right dad?

"Not so fast, brats, I've taught you kids better than to steal."
Julia dropped to the ground dead...
"Do me a favor and find the one who took the stone .Or else I'll have to punish more of you."
"A-alright,"Alright. Just don't hurt anyone else. I'll... I'll try to get the stone."
    "R-Rogan!?"
"Why? Why are you doing this?"
Meara was in the middle of a freakout, and was holding her head and trying not to cry over the situation, she listened to the conversations carefully, but there was not a response immediately after Rogan had asked about why they wanted the stone, she did not care, she only wanted to not get killed, and she didn't want any more deaths either.
Meara walked in front of Rogan and towards Nadine, she let go of her head and held her hand out in front of the two siblings almost in a protecting way, although she knew she had no power in this situation, "W-we don't want any trouble. I know the last person who had it was Kendric and I can get it from him for you if he still has it..."
Meara closed her eyes for a moment before she stepped forward with her eyes still closed, she got up closer to Nadine, not sure what outcome would be for doing so, and she quietly spoke hoping that the siblings behind her couldn't hear her, "We all planned to meet in the ruins of the city outside... so that is where all of us will be." Meara was clearly shaking and wanted to whimper like a dog, but managed to hold back. She took a step back after she was done speaking and refused to turn around towards Rogan and Alayah

Celeste frowned as the voices in the room began to rise. Everything already seemed so much louder with her ears but the entire environment with everyone was too much. The reassuring embrace from Mya seemed quite nice but then things went downhill from there. It was silly how they were put together, then split apart and now they barely got along. Everyone seemed to be against Kendric and she didn't want to be against her friend either but she didn't exactly agree with him. Why were they splitting up? All she could see here was they get split from the school, they become criminals. They get split into groups, people get killed. What if they just keep splitting up until they're all alone and everything just keeps getting worse?

She didn't like that though. Not one bit. She could feel her lip trembling. Mya walked out of the living area with a furious note. Celeste frowned more and looked down at the floor, at her bare feet. She understood Mya in a way. She wanted to go home too, go home to family. She just wanted things to be normal again. Her hands balled into fists on her lap.

She stood up and cleared her throat, "I-I'm going to sleep as well. See you in the morning." she didn't look up at anyone, she was afraid they'd notice her teary eyes and her trembling lip - if they first didn't get her shaking voice. Plus, she knew if she saw her friends face, she'd feel safe to cry even though she knew she shouldn't. She bent down to grab her new found weapon and carried it off with her, following after the direction Mya went and entering another unoccupied bedroom.

She placed the weapon by the wall and walked over to the bed with a shaking sigh. 'Don't cry, Celeste. You're a soldier! Don't cry. It's not going to help you. You're not allowed to cry.' She sat by the edge of the bed, and balled her hands into fists again, pounding hard on her lap. She wasn't going to cry. She should just sleep and forget and just go on with tomorrow because that was a new day. Yes. She inhaled deeply, still shaking. She crawled onto the bed and lay down, looking out of the window and up at the night sky. No tears escaped her ruby eyes but she couldn't seem to fall asleep either.

And just like that there hopeful plan almost fell apart due to doubt. Sure with the way things they couldn't afford to get careless, but that didn't mean that they sure act overly cautious of everything that might in turn help them. That alone wouldn't do them much good. Still it was clear that Kendric still had his idea on what to do and Mya had hers. The question was though, who to follow? He continued to wonder that as he headed towards a spare room. He made his way towards the bed in the room and he laid on it and stare at the ceiling. Too many things were running through his head. Worries, doubt, fate, and some others things were causing some unsettlement inside his head as he tried to prevent himself from dwelling on any of the topic.

"We'll be keeping an eye on you kids. Every day that passes without the stone being in our possession, another one of you will die. Do you understand?"

Zelos was in a initial state of shock after what had just happened. More people had been killed right before them and for what!? A stupid stone? Something about that stone was important if people were going to such lengths just to get it back. What sucked was that there was no time to question any of this, especially not with that death threat hanging over there heads.

"Maybe if you put down those books once in awhile and practiced on your technique a little more you wouldn't be spending so much time on the ground."

"What's the point? There hasn't been a war to fight in nearly three thousand years. Armed forces only exist to fend off the occasional monster and-"

"That may not always be the case, son."

"Lorima would never attack us. The closest thing we've had to a conflict with them is the time their president made a joke about the domestic dragons in our country. Our president thought it was funny!"

    "Hm."

"I'm not like you. I don't enjoy fighting. I'm not even good at it!"

"There's something I need to show you."

Sounds of knocking awoke Kendric from his dream. He rubbed his eyes and sat up on the couch he had slept on. The girls had taken a bedroom and Kendric had been too tired to check to see if there was another free one and he was afraid of running into Artan's mourning parents. He took in a deep breath, only remembering voices from the dream he had. It was strange that it was a memory rather than something entirely made up in his sleep. The knocking came again, this time even louder than before.

"Tasnican police, open up!" Came a man's voice from the other side.

Kendric shook his head quickly trying to force himself to get out of his drowsy state. He picked up the sword he had placed beside the couch last night, the one he took from the underground armory, and went over towards Zauriel. "Wake up." He spoke in a hushed voice. Kendric began waking the others if they hadn't already escaped their slumber due to the noise outside.

"Take the back door out, I'll stall them." Artan's father spoke, having been woken up as well to answer the front door. Kendric nodded in return and began opening the door in the back.

The yard was rather large but empty with patches of dry grass here and there. "Come on, guys." He called out quietly. He took a few steps forward only to come face to face with a Dire Wolf. A white wolf that was about the size of an adult. They were rarely kept as pets because of how dangerous they could be. "Um...nice doggy." Rather than immediately mauling Kendric or growling at him, the Dire Wolf sat down and wagged its tail. It seemed docile. 'The last thing I want to do is get in a fight with that thing. It could eat me whole!'

Reposting the groups as a reminder:

    Group 1
Kendric, Zauriel, Drei, Mya, Grace, and Celeste

    Group 2
    Ayer and Zelos

    Group 3
    Alayah, Rogan, and Meara

    Group 4
Alastair, Poke, Luke, Berial, and Xane.

Groups 2, 3, and 4 have found shelter to spend the night. Ayer and Zelos should run into Alayah, Rogan, and Meara. Or vice-versa if someone from group 3 posts first. First person to post in each of those groups can decide where they spent the night.

It's time to start getting out of the city. Tasnica is surrounded by desert land.

Mya snapped her eyes open as she heard knocking on the door. Only two types of people would knock at this ungodly hour in he morning. Police and Tax Collectors. And she was sure people wouldn't be out to grab money after the crisis of what happened.
She grabbed her gun which was sitting on a nightstand and shoved it in her holster as she shook the others up before heading out the back, nervous for a bit. The police was once her ally. Now they were her enemy for being framed for a crime she never committed.
Running out the back, she noticed the large white dog. At first, it startled her, but then she smiled and leaned down to it and rubbed its ears. "Such a cute dog. Really nice too." She had knowledge on animals and always hung around them. Even if this dog was hostile, she could've taken care of it, but now that it's docile, it made it much more easier. "Good boy...or girl. Nice meeting you." She looked back at the group and signaled them to get going while she kept the dog's attention should it bark after them.

Alastair and his companions had taken shelter in an empty house for the night, the family that lived there seemed to be in one of the other countries. While the others slept peacefully Alastair had gone through the house and five bags and filled them with water and warm clothing for their trek across the desert towards Althauptstadt. Once done packing Alastair placed four of the bags next to his companions, he then grabbed a sixth bag in case they came across anyone from the other groups who had been separated. Alastair sighed in relief when he was done when he heard noise outside the house. A large group of police were moving through the street though they didn’t seem to realize the people they were after was in the house they pasted. Alastair wondered how prepared the other groups were for crossing the desert, ‘maybe I could send Xane to find one of the other groups and give them a bag of supplies, no it would be risking Xane and there is no guarantee that they would find anyone’ Alastair though to himself.

Berial lied on his side, eyes open and staring into the morning light filtering through cracks in the abandoned house's windows. His muscled frame rose and lowered slowly with his breathing, giving the appearance of sleep at least. He was turned away from the others in the group, facing a side with a window, counting the spots on the wall with chipped paint. The owners hadn't necessarily left the house in shambles but it was definitely much less than he was used to. He hadn't thought to object when Alastair brought them there because of how tired he was. However, he only slept for about a solid hour. At that point, he found himself thoroughly rested and occupied himself with better thoughts. How were they going to make it to the rendezvous point with the others? Was his father being punished for the framed actions of his sons? Was the family business being shut down and all the assets seized? With a blink, Berial could picture his father's shameful eyes. Seemingly glazed over with tears, but the brow furrowed in disappointment and anger. He frowned himself and the thought and soothed himself with a heavy breath while sitting up. He looked over at Alastair and nodded, his nicest gesture. The boy grabbed the hilt of his sword and found comfort, casting a small glance at his brother before speaking aloud though facing no one, "We need to leave soon..." And then, the mumble and crunch of soldiers marching.

Lucas found sleep, but it would've been better if he were awake. In his dreams he found no relief from his reality, it was amplified if anything. Gunfire erupted from every corner. The heavy smashing of military marching, their boots undeterred by broken glass, by the skulls of their prey even! And he ran, endless running along a road that never ended. He was winded easily and with his stamina gone he collapsed onto the street, inhaling air in furious gasps but to no avail. No oxygen would enter his lungs. Suddenly, with a mighty heave the pavement seemed to swallow him. First lifting him high into the air, past clouds, and then by sucking him down to the depths of what seemed to be Lucas' most tormenting personal hell. No flames were there, just a void of black. Images flashed of his brother standing over him. His father. All of his peers. All of them looking down at him with the most hateful glare. He clutched his head in pain and shook while falling until finally a wet POP echoed through the empty space, his head burst into nothingness and gore. Useless thoughts and bits of brain and skull fragements flittering in the empty space, but he could still see. What?

"AHHH!" The youth yelled as he botled upright, but cursed himself immediately for making so much noise. He awoke covered in sweat and breathing heavily, gripping his saber tightly. Lucas gave the room a quick once over and tried his best to calm himself, knowing he was relatively safe. With little expression, he peeled off his soaked shirt and school blazer and took a moment to compose himself.

Berial thought to scold Lucas immediately after the outburst but decided against it. He knew how his brother felt, and this was much better than how he would've acted just a week prior. Silently, the older brother tossed a towel to Lucas' side to dry with and stood up to help Alastair make preparations for their departure.

"W-we don't want any trouble. I know the last person who had it was Kendric and I can get it from him for you if he still has it..."
Meara stepped forward and Rogan narrowed his eyes. What was she doing? Silently, he closed his own eyes, focusing on transforming his ears, not in appearance, but so that he could hear her.
"We all planned to meet in the ruins of the city outside... so that is where all of us will be."
Rogan opened his eyes again, frowning in thought. She had just told the teacher that everyone they were hunting down would be gathered in one spot. Rogan glanced sideways at his sister. She was oblivious to the whole thing, she was silent for once, staring up at the teacher in fear. That was good at least. He would have to make sure she stayed behind somewhere safe, instead of going on to the ruins. Rogan felt a twinge of guilt, this wasn't right. But... What else could they do?
Rogan looked down at the ground and closed his eyes. Everything was all going terribly. Yesterday, they had all been happy and oblivious. But now everything was different. He had to find out exactly what these people were after. He couldn't do anything if he didn't know what was going on.
For now, he decided to just let things take their course. Maybe when they got closer to the ruins, he could figure out how to send a message to Kendric, warning him that he would be attacked. Until then, he would just play along and try doing research.
The teacher smiled and disappeared, and Rogan looked up at Meara. They were still in front of her friend's house, and they needed a place to stay for the night. And who knew? Maybe her friend had a library. He walked up to Meara.
"Hey," he said quietly, pretending that he hadn't heard her agreement with the teacher. "We should get inside before it gets too dark. The teacher left us alive. But if the police catch us..." He let the sentence trail off.

OOC: Sorry for the slight godmod here. But we have to get caught up with the rest of the group.

The next morning, Alayah felt better. She still felt awful, but better. Recharged, her grandfather used to say. Getting up, she ran her fingers through her hair to get the worst of the tangles out, and firmly placed her hat back on her head.
Leaving the room, she set out to find Rogan. They had to go and meet up with the others before it was too late.

Grace sighed, not having gotten nearly as much done as she thought she would. As much as her friend had taught her about how he did things, it was much more complicated than it seemed. She had heard the ruckus going on outside but she wasn't as concerned about it as much as the others were. Sure, it would be terrible if they didn't get out of the house as fast as they could. But she knew quite a lot about the house from all the time she spent there and knew that if she was running too late, she could use one of the many escape routes Artan had around the house. She would always use them to sneak in and out of there when he wasn't allowed out to play anyways.

She put away all of Artan belongings, not wanting his parents to find them or know what he was working on that wasn't part of his studies. After all, even if he was dead, they might end up having a fit or simply throw away the brilliant inventions he had created over the years. She surely wouldn't let that happen, knowing they could be of great use to her later on in life. "Well Artan, this is it. It's time I finally do something for you. Don't worry... I'll be safe. So long as you watch over me." She smiled, holding her necklace as she spoke. Gathering the rest of the tools she thought she'd need, she quickly closed her backpack, opening the bedroom window. Surely, she had quite a bit of time before anyone got in to search the house. But she didn't want to bother taking the chance. Not that she had much time to be simply wasting with the long way around.

Leaping out, she landed safely upon the ground, not having a single scratch on her. Not that it was that high of a jump to begin with though. She adjusted her bag, making sure the contents fixed comfortably against her back. There was no way she was planning on making any stops from now until they were out of the city, unless for good reason. Having thought about it during the night, she had made the decision to follow after Kendric and the others. Although she wanted to do more, she needed to think rationally and not get herself killed. She had no idea what these teachers full potentials were, and fighting back alone would basically be suicide. There was no way she was planning on giving her life like that so easily.

Looking over to Mya, she shook her head, slowly walking over to her. "There's no need for you to pet him. This guy knows better than to bark or attack out of the blue, He's very good at sensing who's a threat or not. My friend was sure to each him such." She scratched the back of his ear, thinking over if taking him along would prove useful. After all, he would be of good use in warning them of people who were after them. And maybe even help them find food or shelter away from danger.

She rushed over to Kendric, having figured he'd be the one to ask as opposed to anyone else. Not that she didn't trust or figure the others would have good advice. But naturally, he just seemed like the one to go to for this sort of thing, even if she did consider him as an enemy for all the years she had known him. "What do you think? Would taking the wolf be a good idea or prove to be a nuisance? He is very well trained and I know how to control him. And he can warn us about any attackers or even locate the others if we need to regroup again for some reason. I believe he could be useful to us. He's strong too. Just a suggestion really."

“Yeah, you guys should get ready soon” Alastair said to Berial and Lucas “I have spent the morning preparing survival pack for the desert, 6 packs filled with water and warm clothes” Alastair said indicating the two bags near the brothers “I also did some scouting before dawn, the police have sealed the city so most likely we will have to fight our way out, but we can’t risk using our magic, it would be like a beacon and the enemy would be lured to our presence. So I did an inventory of the supplies of this house and found twenty seven bottles of expensive and highly flammable alcohol upstairs, along with clothes and a few lighters, so I made incendiary bombs with them, just light the wick on top throw it at the enemy and let them burn” Alastair explained as he went into the kitchen and brought out twenty seven homemade bombs and lighters “Rely on these and your weapons over your magic for as long as you can”

Xane walked into the room with where Alastair, Berial, and Lucas were. He heard Alastair talk about bombs and lightning alcohol. His face twitched a little, hearing Alastair talk about their magic being a beacon to the other police, but fire wouldn't make much of a difference at this point. He figured he should try and speak up before anything else.
"If we're going to get into a fight, those wouldn't be bad to take groups out, but aren't they just as obvious to notice as our magic? We have weapons, and while I don't know how much you guys can use yours, I've trained with a sword with my magic, so I think I'm safer without using those things. Plus, I hate to admit it, my aim is pretty bad, so I think it'd be a bad idea for me to use those anyways." He blushed a little when he mentioned his bad aim. It was one of the reasons he took up the sword. When he practiced with any sort of throwing weapon his aim was more of a danger than the actual weapon being thrown. Although, ironically it did leave them with some dead animals for dinner sometimes.
"Besides, with my weapon I can sneak up on the police and take them out silently, without disturbing the others. I don't know how many I'd be able to get before we got out, but let's try to leave as many police alive as possible. It's not like they're our enemies after all, they were just tricked into who the real enemies were." He sat against a wall and tried to rest his body as much as possible. If they were going to get into a fight, he'd rather be as rested as possible, and every bit counts. He wasn't sure he was ready to kill an innocent police officer, but if it was between the students who knew what was really going on, and people who were trying to kill them off false information, he'd have to be willing to kill some people. He knew that he wasn't going to like it in the least bit.
When Xane was training he always talked about how he was going to protect the innocent, and he still stuck to those beliefs. He also knew, however, that these people were just doing their jobs, and they didn't know better; not too mention the fact that they were doing what they believed in as well, and he respected that. But this has turned into a case of something much bigger, and Xane knew that at the point, they had to do what was necessary.

Poke had re-hooked his sheaths on to his belt after fiddling around with the blade. He stayed up for nearly half the night getting used to the feel of his swords. They didn't look easy to master, but they felt...fitting for him. Who knows? And when he can better his psychokinesis, he could control his swords individually during a fight. That was motivation enough for Poke. He was about to leave the room when he noticed a bag next to him. Who put that there? He picked it up, and peeked inside. "Whoa...Thank you, whoever did this." He carried it with him outside.

Leaving his room with a bit of drowsy visible in his eyes, he walked in to the room where everybody else seemed to be in. He yawned and stretched, catching about the last of their conversation. "Hey guys. Planning ahead, are we?" He asked. He saw the bombs and the lighters, then smiled, catching on to the idea. "Heeey, those look pretty strong. Incendiary, I'm guessing?" He asked, walking towards them and looking closely at them. He grabbed one bomb and lighter, and put them in to his bag. "Hope that doesn't burn." He said to himself. "We're really lucky. We got some supplies, and we managed to survive so far. I'm still worried about the other groups, though..." There was a gloomy feeling to his voice, and he seemed slightly saddened. He shook his head, then went back to his usual manner.

"Well, anyway. When are we leaving? Now? Soon?" He went over to a couch and sat down, waiting for an answer.

It was an alarming morning. Her eyes were heavy and her body ached from all that happened yesterday but she got up in a snap. Her bunny ears picked up on what was going on. Police. Seriously?

She jumped to her feet - bare feet - and ran up to the others, who were all awake by now. She stayed by Kendric, holding onto his arm. K QUOTE And with him leading they rushed out the backdoor. It was really helpful that Artan's dad helped them out by stalling the police. It warmed her heart that she knew he didn't actually want them dead or in any awful situation. That was comforting, given everyone they came across wanted them dead.

She didn't exactly know where she was headed. She just followed, and then they came to a stop.

    "Um...nice doggy."

She gasped happily and wanted to run towards it but Mya already went forward to pet him. He was so cute! and large, kind of like a warrior dog - or rather, wolf. His fur was as pearly white as her own. When Mya stepped back from it and Grace began talking, she took the opportunity to run to the dog and hug it. She was on her knees and she hugged the great big creature, wrapping her arms around its neck and stroking its fur. "You're so cute and fluffy and awww." she said to it. Her voice was kept low but still with an excited tone. The wolf seemed to be happy as well because it was wagging its tail. It was nice to see something light and cute and happy for a while. Hence she embraced it. It was just a little sunshine in the dark place they were in.

She slowly got up and the dog rubbed against her leg happily. She stroked the fur on it's back, "Now you don't bark. Shh. Stay quiet." and she wasn't sure if it was just her but it seemed to obey. It sat down again and kept that happy expression but did not howl or bark or growl or even sniffle. It stayed silent. She petted its head one more time and then walked over to Kendric, now joined by Grace, "Okay, we should go now." she smiled, happier and filled with even more energy now. Her drowsiness had left her, finally, but that's when she noticed that what now followed her was the great, big wolf that seated by her side as if she hadn't moved away from it at all.

Mya gave the dog a few more rubs on the head before getting up. "I vote that we take it along. Having a dog is a valuable asset. It's strong and can help notice things we cannot. Not to mention...it's really adorable." She smiled before looking back at the house with concern. "Better decide fast. They can hold back the police for only so long. We don't have time to debate over this. A simple yes or no."

Kendric scratched the back of his head as he thought it over. Grace was right. The dog was trained. It even seemed to recognize Grace and already took a liking to Celeste. It bothered him that they would be taking the family pet after Artan's death but it wasn't as if they would be gone forever. Kendric planned for them to come back after they cleared their names. Though he wasn't sure how to go about that without getting caught.

"Alright, fine." He quickly said. Back where he was from, wolves like this were hunted and not often kept as pets. Dire Wolves tended to be quite dangerous when they traveled into domestic areas and provided no end to problems to farmers. "Come on wolfy." Kendric called it over as he approached the back fence. The wolf did not pay him any attention as its attention was fixed on Celeste still. 'Right. She's a shapeshifter. Animals always take a liking to them.' The only reason the wolf hadn't gone over to Zauriel was because Celeste had gone to it first. He figured that he would let her order the dog around for now. "Come on. Don't use your magic. The police would probably pick up on that." Kendric hopped over the fence, his natural athletic ability coming in handy for once now that he did not have to worry about keeping his nose in the books.

They were in another backyard. From memory, Kendric guessed that just two or three more yards would be needed for them to cross before they were out in the open. They needed to stay clear of the larger streets. There was no doubt those would be blocked off. "Think that wolf can jump a fence without knocking it over?" He hadn't thought about it until now. Kendric could only hope that the wolf wouldn't make too much noise...or come crashing through the fence.

Grace felt a large sense of joy at the plan to keep the wolf with them. Now she would have more than just one memory of Artan traveling with her. Quickly running over, she grabbing his food from the shed close to the fence. After all, Artan had never liked for him to eat raw meat or creature unless absolutely necessary. Grabbing a few more item from the shelves, she hurried back over to the others, placing his thing into her backpack. "It's going to be a bit of work taking it but in the end it'll prove to be worth it. Especially since we plan to travel through the desert."

She smiled, removing the leash and walking herself over to the gate. "Oh before I forget, his name is Mor. Not so much of a name for a pet or a wolf for that matter. But Artan liked it." Throwing her bag over, she shortly after followed Kendric, climbing up and jumping down to the other side. Taking her pack back onto her, she looked over to the others, waiting patiently for them to finish. Yet, the same thought struck her as it did Kendric. How was the wolf to jump over?

Nomally, Artan would allow it out the gate and he was trained very strickly not to jump over the fence. She supposed that wasn't such a good idea after all. Letting out a sigh, she adjusted her bag on her should before thinking it over. 'I would have carried him over but we have to do as much as we can not to get noticed. Which means no magic.' And he's much to heavy for her to carry, as she was sure he was for the others too. 'Can't just leave him behind either. That would really be a waste.' She pondered it over, hoping the can think of something quickly.

Mya smiled, happy that Kendric decided to take the dog along. Hopefully they would return it once they were done with their trekking...assuming they would come back alive. None of the other groups were heard of since they split up. It made her worried, but at the same time, there was no time for such thoughts.
"Aww it'll be fine. Wolves can jump things very high and silently. How else would they catch their prey without them knowing their presence. Well unless it jumped on an alarm or something...nevermind! We need to get moving fast! The police will get back here at any moment!"
She then hopped over the fence. They're gonna have to take the scenic route to their destination. It will take a bit longer, but at least they won't get shot at by the local police force. She still was thinking whether she should go to her parent's home or not. Somehow...meeting up at the ruins gave her a bad vibe. Besides, her nasty argument with Kendric last night wasn't very optimistic to the group. Maybe once they leave a bit, she'll tell them that she'll make her way to her father's home and then contact them once they met up with the others at the ruins.

Alayah set out through the house, looking for Rogan and Meara. She might not be from military background, but she knew the longer they stayed here the higher the chances were of them being discovered. Turning a corner, Alayah gasped, startled as Rogan was also coming around the corner.
"Rogan, don't scare me like that!" She said. "I almost electrocuted you!"
"Sorry," Rogan said. "I didn't know you were there."
"Ah, fine," Alayah said, although she suddenly felt far from fine. "Let's just find Meara and head out. I feel all tense and stuff, like something bad's about to happen."
"Really?" Rogan asked. "What do you mean?"
"Oh, you know," Alayah said. "Like, if you don't know what's wrong, but you know something is? That's how I feel. There's something seriously wrong. We should leave."
"You're too impulsive," Rogan said. "But you're right, we need to go find Meara."
Alayah nodded. "Where do you suppose she is?" She asked.
Rogan shrugged. "I don't know," he said. "We should go look."

As Rogan and Alayah began walking through the house, he thought on what she had said. As twins, he and Alayah had spent their entire lives together, they were very close. They could communicate without talking, and they often felt glimpses of emotions when the other was going through something. He would have to be more careful about what he did around his sister. When she had turned the corner, he had been thinking about the stone. He had found the library and had been trying to research all night, but without any idea as to what the stone was or what it was for, he hadn't found anything at all. Now he was tired and frustrated, not to mention still stressed about being on the run. It was no surprise that Alayah felt some of the tension.
He also wasn't sure what to do about Meara. For now, they had no choice but to go with her, but he had to keep an eye on her.

"Come on. Don't use your magic. The police would probably pick up on that."

Celeste's ruby eyes widened at what Kendric said, immediately looking down at herself. Had she shapeshifted?! The tanned skin on the back of her hands and her forearms showed no signs of protruding fur, feathers or scales. Her nails were kept normal and her lower half didn't morph into hooves or a snake's tail or anything. Hm. M-magic? What did he mean? She wasn't using any! But then again, she kept that as a mental note. Magic could be their downfall, they could use it to track them. It worried her, because how would she be able to stop herself from transforming when she did?

The soft white fur of the wolf brushed against her side, rubbing its head by hers as if trying to comfort her. Had it sensed her worries? Her hand reached up and stroked the fur on its cheek, sending it a small smile. This was going to be troublesome with her magic then. What if she suddenly transformed now? Though, given what occurred last night and her obvious lack of sleep causing the depletion of her energy - she figured that would be highly unlikely. What if when she did though, the police would find them? What would they do to them? What if it was something bad? What if they would end up like the others? What if... What if she lead the team into their dea-

"Oh before I forget, his name is Mor. Not so much of a name for a pet or a wolf for that matter. But Artan liked it."

Her pearl white bunny ears twitched at the distinct voice of Grace. She gulped down nervously, pressing her lips together in a fine line. She just shouldn't transform, but other than that it should be okay because not only was Kendric around but the people she was with were quite amazing too and now they had Wol- well, to be corrected, Mor here. Right. Okay. Focus.

It was time for soldier status Celeste Abelard to be present. They were right, they had to get out. Her sensitive ears picked up the angry voices that were beginning to rise inside. They should be coming closer. They had to move. The bunny eared girl took in a sharp breath and gripped the handle of her hand cannon tightly.

"Aww it'll be fine. Wolves can jump things very high and silently. How else would they catch their prey without them knowing their presence. Well unless it jumped on an alarm or something...nevermind! We need to get moving fast! The police will get back here at any moment!"

The teenaged shapeshifter nodded, and watched the girl hop over the fence before turning to Mor the wolf. She cupped its large, cuddly face in her hands. "You can jump over that can't you? That's nothing to you, isn't it?" she smiled, her tone was warm and subtly encouraging. The wolf's tail wagged happily in delight, and got up on its fours. She released her grip from the wolf and glanced at the fence herself. Man, bunny feet would have been more helpful now. She wasn't exactly the smallest (though she did have a lather large weapon with her) but as she continued to look at what she had to climb over she grew even lazier and couldn't help but sigh. Effort? She barely had energy!

The answer to her problems came quicker than she thought. Mor still hadn't left her side, it was still wagging its tail happily and just standing there as if... as if it was waiting. Hm. Celeste looked at the large creature. Then she looked at the fence. Then back at the wolf, then the fence. Wolf, fence. Wolf, fence. Wolf, fence. She smirked, looking back at the wolf. "We go together."

With that, Celeste quickly makeshift from the odd accessories of her clothing and some weird looking parts from the hand cannon itself (that seemed to be there for that purpose) a strap that enabled her to carry her hand cannon hands-free on her back. Perfect! She grabbed some of Mor's thick fur and hopped up on it. The wolf didn't complain one bit, it was as if this had been the plan all along. It kind of reminded Celeste of the dragons in the army of her father, how they would ride them to battle. Of course, this was no dragon and she certainly didn't expect any flight but when the wolf did leap into the air and was able to jump that fence with no problem, it really did remind her of back home.
