Berial simmered in anger for a moment at the lack of ideas on getting out of the impending death pit. He opened his mouth to speak when out of the corner of his eye he noticed Poke shuffling. Berial heard the unmistakable sound of a blade leaving its sheath and with a quick heel turn, faced Poke just as the sword was pointed at him. Simultaneously, he placed his finger on the hilt's "trigger" and the sword's engine rumbled in wait for power. He was the farthest from a pushover and he wouldn't be imitated. The tension was broken by Rogan, who had spoke telling Berial to be quiet, which of course had only made the youth angrier. However, this made Poke put his sword away so Berial followed suit.

"Must I do everything for you children?"

Lucas exhaled audibly when the voice spoke and the ladder dropped. It was just the relief this group needed. It was bad enough that there was already tension between students but it was worse knowing his brother was the cause. He nodded when Rogan walked past him and went up the ladder and prepared to do so, giving his brother a silent eye. As the young man climbed the ladder, he made himself a promise...to never fall be like his brother. A slave to the habits of cruelty. He had meant his thoughts before...I'm going to carve my own path.

Berial twirled his sword and held it in a reverse grip to climb up the ladder. He hadn't meant exactly to hurt Poke's feelings before, but that was just the way he spoke and he wasn't going to change. However, when Poke pointed that sword at him, things changed. Berial wasn't going to pursue the problem without provocation but a silent vendetta had definitely begun. The youth grabbed the first rung of the ladder with his left arm and pulled himself up, getting a foothold of a lower rung. He gripped his sword tightly in his right hand and continued pulling himself up one-handed until he reached the top.

There was a myriad of voices beneath Kendric as he climbed the ladder. Things were tense between some of the students. Kendric chewed on his lower lip. He wasn't sure what to do about it. If a fight broke out he would be there to end it, but he had no idea on how to make them all get along. They had more important things to worry about.

Celeste's words stuck out to him the most however. He would keep them safe. Kendric never thought of himself as the type to be a leader. All he did was keep a cool head, nothing more. "Um..." He paused on the ladder. "Everyone down there better hurry up." He directed this mostly towards Celeste though before he continued climbing. Kendric squinted as the source of light grew closer until...

"What the?" He stopped once more, letting his eyes adjust as he stared at what was just above him. It looked like brick. Or tile. He wasn't too sure but whatever material it was, it was almost completely transparent. If it was a dead end, he figured it wouldn't be too hard to break. Though the other students might complain about debris falling on their heads. Kendric reached a hand up to touch the transparent ceiling. As soon as his hand met the cool stone, it lifted slightly like a manhole cover. With a grunt, he managed to shove the cover out of the way as he stepped onto the surface.

The place was deserted but it was easily recognizable. It was the streets of Tasnica. Sounds of marching could be heard in the distance. It must have been the Tasnican Police. They were probably patrolling all over the city looking for them. "Hurry up guys!"

Alastair remained silent as the two gunshots echoed through the room and when the voice spoke again and made the ladder drop down, Alastair climbed up quickly and stood next to Kendric "Remember when I said we should split up? Now is the time" he said as he heard the marching. “If we stay in a group we are noticeable. And we don’t have time to figure out who goes with who” Alastair said thinking quickly, the four in the tunnel wouldn’t be far behind them “Maybe if we have a group act as a distraction the others can get away easier, also we should give the stone to someone you are not familiar with within the group, they will most likely assume you would keep it with you or someone you trust without question” Alastair said to Kendric.

Sarah walked through the tunnels when she stopped and looked down at a few droplets on the ground, they were almost dry but it was enough “Tears” she said as she saw a trail of them. “I thank you teary eyed weakling for leaving a trail" Like before Sarah acted like she was enjoying the students, well she did enjoy it but her plans required them to live but she could not risk her allies finding out, ‘Best way to make it believable is to be serious’ she thought to herself as she approached the armoury.

Alayah climbed the ladder to the top and looked around. Hearing the marching in the distance, she waited nervously. This was turning out to be the worst day of her life. And she could tell, it was going to get much worse before it was over.
Nearby, she could just make out a few pieces of the conversation Kendric was having with the other boy. They were going to have to split up.
A part of her knew that this was the wisest course of action; if they split into to groups, they had a lesser chance of being found. But a part of her wanted them to all stay together, so she could be safe.
But no. She had to be strong. She had to be brave, to do what needed to be done. The years of peace were over.

It hit her like a brick wall. After 3000 years, there was going to be a war. With the attack on the president, even with the students being blamed, there was going to be a war. The teachers had administrated the entire situation to start a war. The years of peace were indeed over.

By the time Rogan stepped from the ladder out onto the street, he had already put the situation with Lucas's brother out of his head. There were more pressing issues to deal with. Namely, this desperate situation they had somehow found themselves in. They were right smack in the middle of a war, by fate or by design, they were in the middle of it.
It seemed obvious to Rogan that they could not go home; the teachers had made it abundantly clear that they had thrown all suspicion on their group. And yet, he had to warn his family somehow. He had to get a message to them that he and Alayah were alright; that they had not had a part in the attack on the president, and that the family had better go into hiding as soon as possible. Because, if the students were blamed, it followed that their families would be targeted, either by the military, in hopes that the students would try to contact them, or by the rest of the group the teachers were working for. Most likely, three people wouldn't start a war for no good reason, they had to have a cause, and most people with a cause had an entire movement of followers belonging to said cause.
It was imperative he contact the Crowfests before much time had passed. The question was, how?

"Look...I appreciate what you're gonna do, but it's not worth it. One of us already didn't make it. I don't want another one falling to the hands of death."
Celeste dropped her weapon for a moment after her last words. She understood what the girl said to her very clearly, and she agreed to every word but now was not the time. Not with her clear mind right now. Well, more like soldier-mindset right now and she felt, as she was surrounded by the weaponry made by her own father and relatives, to stand for the group alongside Kendric as he lead them out. She was there to make sure all of them would make it out.
She turned to face the silver haired girl, with a serious expression. "Take your friends and go. I'll climb up after everyone - you can thank me later." her tone was quite stern, and probably not expected of the shy girl everyone knew from school but it had to be done. She turned back and returned to her old stance, hoping that the other students continued to climb.
"Everyone down there better hurry up."
Suddenly, her ears began to twitch as they picked up something from behind the wall she was guarding. Voices. Footprints. They were close. It was like Kendric was psychic! They were not close enough for anyone to hear, but with her permanent keen hearing, she could sense their presence. She turned back to the group and told them in a whisper, "They're close. Hurry up!" However before she turned to face the wall again, the corner of her eye realized just what filled up the room: weapons.
They were everywhere. Plus, not only were they weapons but experimental, possibly nuclear weapons even. Of course, worst case scenario is if the bad guys walked into them now and murdered more of them but even if they did enter the room after all of the students including herself had gone then it would still be bad - because then, they would get their hands on all of these weapons. The arsenal from this room was their only advantage over those out to kill them as of this moment. A solution had been in the back of her mind as she evaluated these pros and cons but did she really want to do that?
The shapeshifter bit hard into her lip, her bottom lip already loosing colour. She sighed, she knew she had to do it. She had to destroy every single piece of weaponry in this room - but the bad guys were also so close! If she used her hand cannon, which would probably get the job done then the noise might be a dead give away, but it was her only option at the moment. She looked around to see no more students around the room, but already 3/4s up the ladder. She looked up at them and yelled, "Don't freak out and keep climbing!"
She grabbed the ladder and climbed herself about half way, before she swung an arm and leg around it, making sure she couldn't fall. She took a deep breath then raised her rapier edged hand cannon. 'I'm sorry dad.' A loud noise erupted from the blue liquid contained in the cannon, it sounded as if something was starting up - like an engine. Then, the teenager felt the power surge through the device and then- BOOM! ZAP! Lazer shots flew out of the cannon's opening and made contact with all the weapons on the walls and tables. They were getting destroyed one by one. The noise was incredibly loud and as she shot at every single one of them, the room was filled with echoes of BOOM! ZAPS! BOOM! BOOM!
Smoke hazed everywhere but she could make out that every piece of weaponry had been demolished, quickly, she climbed up the ladder and met up with all the other students above. She leaned down and cut off the ladder from the ceiling, letting it disappear into the smoke filled room. She turned back to the other students, who were all staring at her. She blinked for a moment, expression not changing, until it finally got to her. Her hands left hand flew in front of her face and her knees touched together, her face was flushed behind her shaking hand as she muttered "F-focus! Don't look at me! Let's get going!"

Mya nodded and looked at Drei and Zauriel. "You heard her. Let's get going before they catch up!" She let them up before grabbing on and climbing up. Don't do anything stupid...Turns out though she was being worried for nothing. Celeste climbed up with them as well, but not before shooting down and destroying all the weapons behind them.
She almost wanted to complain about what Celeste did, but she knew well. She didn't want them falling into the wrong hands, especially those wanting to kill them. Such a shame they all had to be destroyed. They were beautiful pieces of art too...She Managed to get to the surface and onto flat ground. "Odd...I never knew this would lead us back onto the streets. Hmm...I'm gonna have to talk with my dad...if I get the chance." She then heard a loud clang, knowing the rest of the ladder was cut off. It would slow them down, but not stop them. They were strong and it would only be a matter of time before they caught up.

Drei wasted no time climbing the rest of the way up the ladder. Though what he heard upon getting back to the surface didn't do much to his hope. The sounds of marching could only meant that the police were searching for any suspect in this incident and in their current situation, they were the only suspects nearby. Great, this was going just like what the teachers planned out. They would take the fall for them while they got off scot free. "What ever we do, we need to hurry." Drei said. Now was not the time for planning out an action. Any time that they wasted doing that was time that could be use to escape. But where we suppose to go now? Since going to the police was out and the school was probably a bad idea. Wandering around in a group this big wasn't a smart idea either. So unless that mysterious person had another way of helping them, they were almost screwed. It was already clear that they had different ideas on what they could do, which could mean that working together might be a little stretch. Mainly since they were forced into the situation that they were in.

Luna was the first to climb out of the ladder, with her Staff on her back still. She stood by and watched Angela and Julia (whom they had found nearby) climb out. And they were still arguing. Yay...

"Look, all I'm saying is that you could have at least come to find us!"

"Why bother? We're all going to die anyway, and you're getting weapons. Face facts, idiot! We're all ****ed! The president was attacked and it's set to look like we did it! Why the HELL are we going to fight!? We should focus on getting out of here!"

Luna rubbed her temples. "Will you two just shut UP!!? This is totally unecessary! Look Julia, Angela's right. You're the older sister, and daddy left you in charge of us. You want to act like an independent adult? Then start by focusing on your responsibilities." She took the whip from Angela's belt and handed it to her. "If you're not with us, then go and beg someone else to help you, because none of us will, the way you act."

Julia's eyes burned into her little sister's. How DARE her! When Luna turned to leave, Julia cracked the whip and pulled her close. She grabbed her hair. "Don't you EVER, speak to me like that again!" Then dropped her. "I'm going ahead of you all. We're stupidly standing around here instead of focusing on what we SHOULD be doing."

Angela helped Luna up. "You okay Lu?"
    "Yeah, no sweat."
"That was great. She really deserved that."
"I know she did. Now, we should wait for anyone else who was stuck there."

Xane climbed the ladder as fast as he could. He heard Kendric at them to hurry up, and he knew that they didn't need to be yelled at for them to know that. Although, a little shout here and there certainly does give some boost to people; he knew that from experience training with his father. Although, he also knew that they couldn't rush too much, since no one wanted to slip, considering how far of a fall it would be.

He looked up and noticed he was nearing the hole of light. He took his last few steps and came up to the streets in the city.
"Huh, was not expecting to end up back in the city." He looked around, to see where everyone was. The streets were nearly deserted, which seemed fishy considering what day it was. Then Xane did a facepalm, remembering that the president had been killed, and the authorities were probably searching all over for the ones that had killed him. Xane also figured that there was no way the teachers wouldn't try to let the authorities know as soon as possible that they had been the ones that did it. Even if they all knew the truth, there was no way that anyone was going to believe them over adults. They were all in a bind, and even though they had escaped from the teachers, now they had to worry about everyone that was after them above ground. This was not going to be easy in any sense of the word, and he was sure they all knew that, or at least the ones who weren't panicking.

Grace tapped her foot repeatedly on the floor, watching as the other students scrambled over to the stairs and how some seemed to just be making matters worse as opposed to just getting up and out of there. She swore that some of the people here were just absolutely idiots and would have been better off left behind in this mess. At least the smarter ones wouldn't have to worry about possibly dying if they were to tag along and just ruin plans. "Nothing but delays. That's it. I've really had enough of this nonsense."

She quickly turned around, her jade-like aura lightly glowing around her and turning up her strength just a bit with the magic. She then instantly took hold of Artan, slinging him on her shoulder and making her way over to the ladder. "And don't you dare struggle." He wasn't much of a problem to carry in the first place, him being all small and fragile. But she didn't want to take any chances in losing him. He was rather valuable to the group after all, whether the others saw it or not. At the very least, she would keep him by her side if she ever needed his assistance for something. He was pretty handy to keep around despite the way he looked, him not having let her down in the years they had been friends.

She quickly jumped on before any of the remaining students could, not wanting to have to stay down there for much longer. She made sure Artan was steadily on her before making her way up as fast as she could, not wanting to think about what could go wrong had she wasted even a second taking her time. Once she made it out, she took him a deep breath, loving the minor exercise this gave her. It was always such a nice feeling to build up her strength so she could keep prepared.

She then dropped Artan to the ground, stretching out her arm as she looked around at this new location. It was kind of interesting to her on the different things they had discovered in their time here, wondering how it was that such rooms and such could go on being unnoticed. Naturally, she was never allowed to explore around, regardless of being the daughter of the Leader of Wendel. Tasnica was surely becoming a rather fascinating place now, it making her wonder what else they would find, even if they were being perused and were in danger of being killed at any moment.

"My, my. This place is surely starting to make my blood boil with excitement." She spoke aloud, not caring to whom around her had heard.

Ayer watched as everyone made there way up, being especially sure that Angela and Luna had made it up safely. He didn't want to go on ahead of them and risk the possibility of being separated, in case the roof caved in or perhaps the teachers had made their way in. His main focus now was keeping them safe, even if it meant risking his own life in the process.

He looked down at his spade for a moment, shutting his eyes and gripping it tightly in his hand. 'Please, bless me with the ability to use this thing to my advantage. Allow me to have the skills necessary to save those who may need my help in the future.' It was rather not the right time for him to be making such prayers, but he felt it was needed, it giving him a bit of a higher hope that they could all make it out of this alive. After all, they had already lost a student. He didn't want anymore fatalities to happen if he had the ability to help it.

Once finished, he opened up his eyes once more, them instantly shooting over to the ladder. Noticing that not many students were left down below, he hurried his way over to it. He struggled for a moment to get the weapon in a comfortable position before making his way up, trying not to slow things down for anyone else. 'I hope that whatever we get to, that I'll be able to recognize something at some point. This is my home, and there has to be somewhere we could go.'

He finally poked his head would from the hole, a frown going on his face. Yet another place he didn't recognize, not even in stories or tales of any kind. Sighing, his stood up straight, dusting himself off before noticing what had happened to Luna. 'Why must the older one act so cruelly to her siblings. We would never tolerate that in my household.' Making his way over, he placed a hand upon Luna's head, giving her a joyful smile. "Hey there. You okay? I don't know what's going on but I'm sure it must have been for the best. You were very brave to stand up to her like that. So kudos to you, little one." He laughed just a bit, hoping he could lighten up the mood for the time being.

Kendric still wasn't sure if splitting the group up would be a good idea. Still, he had a few ideas of his own that he wanted to try out. Spreading out seemed like the best way to get attention off themselves. From what he had seen, he had a pretty decent idea of what kind of people should stick together. Kendric wasn't about to shove everyone who panicked into one group.

"...Also we should give the stone to someone you are not familiar with within the group, they will most likely assume you would keep it with you or someone you trust without question."

Kendric shook his head to this. "No. I'll-" The sounds of Celeste's weapon drowned out his next words. Kendric helped pull the girl out of the hole once she had finished destroying the weapons left behind. He scratched the back of his head. "Wish I thought of that. Good job!" He took the stone from Celeste, thinking it was better for him to hold onto it.

"Um..." Was it really his call to decide who went with who? The sounds of marching began to grow closer. It sounded faster than before. Maybe Celeste's shots had alerted them. "Celeste, Zauriel, Mya, and Drei. You guys are coming with me." He pointed towards Alastair. "Take Poke, Berial, Lucas, and Xane." Kendric turned towards Angela her sisters. They didn't get along, but they were still family. Well...maybe it would be better if Julia didn't go with Angela and the little one. Kendric wanted them all to meet up again anyways.

"Angela, take your sister, Ayer, and Zelos." There were still so many left. "Grace, Artan, Alayah, Rogan, and Julia. You guys stick together." There were three left who hadn't been paired up. The odd number made it hard to split them all evenly. "There's a lot of empty land up north. Where the rest of Tasnica used to be I guess. We'll just have to find each other again there!" He was trying to speak as fast as he could to get them moving before the police arrived.

    Bang!

Blood splattered onto Kendric's arm. Sophia fell. Dead.

    "RUN!"

    Bang!

Sora was the next to fall. The bullet went through her and into Zillia. She too hit the ground soon after. The police were closing in. Now would be a good time to run.

OOC: Myst and HeartlessOfLight are out of the RP. Sophia, Sora, and Zillia are dead. Myst's remaining character, Shade, is now under my control.

Alayah nodded at Kendric when he was done splitting the different groups, hating that they had to split up but knowing why it was necessary, and thankful at the same time that she got placed with Rogan.
She moved over to stand by him, and he looked at her, giving a half smile and raising his eyebrow to ask if she was alright, to which she nodded imperceptibly. "We should get moving as soon as possible," she whispered, and he nodded.
"Just a sec," he whispered back.

Rogan turned to Lucas, giving another half-smile. He was about to tell him to watch his back and be careful, and that he had better be in the empty lands when Rogan got there, when-
    BANG!
One of the girls fell down dead. Someone screamed as blood got everywhere.
    "RUN!" Kendric yelled.
    BANG!
Two more girls fell, two more dead. The total count was up to four. Rogan's nerves exploded into panic and his eyes flashed for a second, morphing into a mixture of colors before he bit his tongue so hard it bled a little; effectively pulling him back to earth. Now was NOT the time to lose control.
"I'll see you later," he promised Lucas before turning to Alayah, who was staring down at one of the girls in horror. Leaving the dead behind was one thing. Watching someone die in front of you was another.
"Alayah," Rogan said, reaching out and touching her shoulder.
They both jumped; Alayah because she was startled out of her thoughts, Rogan because Alayah had gotten charged and his touch sent electricity jolting through him.
"Gah!" he exclaimed, pulling his hand away.
"Rogan!" Alayah shrieked in a wide-eyed panic. "Rogan, I'm so sorry-"
"It doesn't matter," Rogan said. "Find the rest of the group and RUN!"
Alayah, who was better at remembering names, looked around. "GRACE, ARTAN, JULIA!" she called over the noise. "THIS WAY!"
Grabbing Rogan's hand, Rogan winced as the already-building charge shot through him again, and they began to run.

Angela stopped short. "Sophia no!" Her only friend was dead. She lost all sensation and wanted to die right there, but Luna was dragging her. They couldn't stop, no matter what. "No... Sophia... Luna! We have to go back! Sora was there too!" She tried to pull away, "Let me go! We have to go back!"

Luna didn't let her sister go. "No Ang! We can't!" She said. "They're all after us and we can't afford to lose anyone else!" Tears filled her eyes as she thought about Sora. "I know... That it's hard to lose Sophia... She wasn't JUST our friend, she was like a sister to us..."

"Celeste, Zauriel, Mya, and Drei. You guys are coming with me."

So they were splitting up after all. It certainly made escape easier. Still he was glad the he was at least paired two people that he actually knew. The second gunshot was all the motivation that he need to take off running behind Kendric. "Mya, Zauriel, come on!" There wasn't a doubt that would run, but he had no intention of losing the few friends that he had.

After Kendric made the paring, there was a small part of him that was glad that he wasn't paired up with Julia. Sure he did chose to save her, but her method of repayment was just wrong on so many levels. He figured that who he was paired with wouldn't be so bad.

    Bang!

Another gunshot, more students dying. Time was running out and the police were only getting closer. Doing the only thing he could do at the moment, he ran behind Luna and her sister.

Alastair didn’t really react to the gun shots, he saw students fall but he didn’t react, he wanted to but he had to remain calm and keep a clear head. Heading north was a good idea but simple heading north was vague, they needed a place to actually go for. Alastair then wondered about the ones he was grouped with, he didn’t know any of them and wasn’t sure he even spoke to them before and wasn’t sure how he would get along with them, he looked back to Kendric and then the group as he remembered a good remote location they could head to “Listen!” he shouted loud enough so everyone who hadn’t to who hadn’t left yet could hear him, but not to loud “in the north there is the ruins of Althauptstadt! We will regroup there! Also make sure people don’t try and contact their families, they will be dead, put in danger or turn us in!” Alastair finished then looked at Kendric “Best of luck” he said before facing his group “Guys lets go” he said to them as he headed in the opposite direction to the gun shots, Alastair had a slight limp in his leg from when he was hit by Sarah’s wind spell but he had mostly adjusted to it now.

Xane kneeled, keeping himself a smaller target as he heard the police coming closer. He was worried they were taking too long, and he really wasn't comfortable staying out in the open. When Celeste came out of the hole and Kendric began to form teams, Xane was already ready to make a sprint away from the middle of the street. He saw Kendric point towards Alastair,

"Take Poke, Berial, Lucas, and Xane."

Oh boy, I hope we get along. I don't know these people all that much, Xane thought to himself. He didn't want to annoy anyone with the way he acted, especially since he tried to keep to himself. Kendric finished forming up the teams and Xane looked around to see where they could start running.

"So, do we have any sort of plan on what to do with that stone or anything else?" questioning Kendric after they were all together. Soon as he asked the question though, there was a gunshot. Xane didn't blink, seeing everything that happened, wishing he hadn't. He saw blood cover Kendric's arm, and Sophia fall to the floor. At this point Xane's mind began to get into a fighting mode, trying to figure out where the shots came from. A second later, another bullet went by Xane, went through Sora, and hit Zillia. Xane quickly knelt on one knee, searching around to see what was going on. He couldn't spot anyone, but he heard the police getting closer. While he was taking in what was happening, the three students kept following. Everything around Xane seemed to be moving in slow motion. He had to keep calm, otherwise he'd end up doing something that would get him killed.

Alastair yelled toward Kendric about a meeting spot and took off, running in the opposite direction of the others. Xane began to follow, keeping up and trying not to look back at the bodies of the three friends they had just lost.

As her friend reached into the pocket of her dress, she wore a confused expression on her face. He pulled out a small black stone from it causing her to inhale sharply - she forgot all about the mysterious black stone! It seemed pretty important, so it was probably best out of the hands of one who couldn't even control her powers but at the same time she wanted to take it from Kendric, not wanting to add to his responsibilities. Just as she was about to though, he spoke up.

"Celeste, Zauriel, Mya, and Drei. You guys are coming with me."

She nodded at him with a smile, thankful that she was grouped with him - someone, probably the only one in complete honesty, that she felt close to and safe with. Celeste stared at him for a moment, as he continued to watch him pair students together. Her smile didn't fade as she watched him. It made her happy, despite the chaos that was happening, that Kendric had taken the challenge of leading everyone. She always knew he was the leader-type of guy and felt like with him, nothing could go wrong. The group was in good hand for sure.

The teenager then clutched her hand cannon, feeling even more confident as she looked down at it. Armed with Abelard weaponry, magical talents (minus herself) and good leadership? What could stop them? Well, actually, she was sure many things could but above that, she no longer felt drained of energy. Oh, and not to mention the mystical voice that seemed to speak to them and save them from tough situations every once in a while.

"There's a lot of empty land up north. Where the rest of Tasnica used to be I guess. We'll just have to find each other again there!"

    Bang!

The gunshot rung in her ears, eyes widening as blood splattered on the side of her face and on Kendric's arm beside her. She stopped breathing because she was incapable to at the moment and her body froze completely. Her eyes, however, were able to shift downwards to look at the body that had fallen. It was one of the girls Kendric was with earlier. She breathed in sharply, with her body still frozen in place by complete panic. She smelled the metallic odor of blood, and tasted it when she licked her bottom lip. People were after them, they wanted them dead. This was real. This was happening. She could feel her tense body beginning to shift again. Her eye color turning completely black, even to the white of her eyes - making them appear beady, like a shark's.

    "RUN!"

    Bang!

She blinked as she heard her friend's voice, turning to him in a flick, appearing big-like. Her eyes averted to ruby reds for a second, until the second gunshot followed after her friend's order almost immediately, joined by two girls falling. She swallowed nervously, feeling her eyes go back to the beady black while her nails began to thicken and elongate once more while fur began seeping out of the tips of her extremities and crawling upward. She gripped the hand canon more tightly with her right hand.

Hearing the boy they were with, judging by the name he didn't mention - it was Drei, snapped her back into reality. That's right! They had to get out unless they wanted to be dead. She gulped then followed running, more like leaping - running similar to how a cheetah runs but the teenager was still on her two feet. It just the similar touch the ground and leap off of it to accelerate. She caught up to her group as soon as the third gunshot had been fired, running beside Kendric now, still finding herself unable to speak and continuing to morph gradually due to the panic and chaos.

Ayer looked around at the horror of more murder around, not being able to take it in. This was way too much. Why did they have to do this to students of all people? None of them had done a thing to deserve this and yet they were being slaughtered little by little. He couldn't believe how humanity had turned out, how this seemingly normal day had turned out to such a great tragedy.

He shook his head of the thoughts, deciding it was best that he stick with the girls for now, figuring it was best to worry about them. To follow through with his promise to protect them at the very least, feeling rather fortunate that he got put into a group with them. He quickly followed after the two, praying again in his mind that they'll make it through.

Grace wasn't to fazed again with the dead around, just thinking about how it was better off them than herself. She remained calm, watching as the other panicked. It was so pitiful to see them all reduced to suck messes, not having the mind power to actually think this out. Sure, they were being chased by teachers who have mastered their elements, but who was to say that they couldn't just figure out a strategy to fight back or at the very least, find a way to slow them down even in the slightest.

She rolled her eyes as she walked over to Artan, helping him up to his feet from the place she had dropped him. "Come on, we need to get out of here for now. We'll follow our so called 'group' for now. We'll see later on if we can risk parting from them later in case they end up slowing us down or hold us back."

She took his hand, adjusting her bag and weapon before starting to run off along with the others. Although she never showed it to anyone, Artan was the only one that kept her feeling purposeful and strong. He was the one person who knew who she really was, and she wasn't about to let that go.

From what he could see, he was nearly at the top when he suddenly heard someone yell from the armory. He could barely make out the words, "Don't freak out and keep climbing!" Stopping to make sure he heard her right, he was about to yell back, and hear harder, which was a bad idea, because his ear drums were full of pain with all of the sudden ridiculously loud noises coming from below. "I'M FREAKING OUT!" He quickened the pace, wondering why there were explosions. Were they there? No, they couldn't've. Did she blow up all the weapons? Pretty smart, actually. He looked up, and noticed a slight delay in Kendric's climbing. He realized that he was opening some sort of cover. And then he heard him yell down, "Hurry up guys!"

"How the hell do you hurry climbing up a ladder?" He yelled back, before finally reaching the top. He looked around, and heard the marching noises. That must mean... "Oh fudgesticks." And then he heard talk about splitting up. It was a good idea, since they had to leave as soon as possible and not attract much attention, but what about cooperation? "Hey, I don't mind who you stick me with, as long as it's not--"

    "Poke, Berial,"

"GOD DAMNIT!" He would've continued his raging, before he heard gunshots. He turned around, and saw three more students dead. "Not again!"

“in the north there is the ruins of Althauptstadt! We will regroup there!"

"Never heard of it!" Atleast with directions, he knew where to go, so without waiting for the others, or more specifically, Beriasshole, he started to run north, keeping a grip on the handle of his sword, just in case.

Lucas heard the heavy crunch of boots beating the ground in a march as soon as he came up from the ladder. The Tasnican police were on a death patrol for the President's murderers and who else but a squadron of renegade students were the suspects. He crouched down in the group, just waiting for something to happen. Kendric called out the groups and Lucas locked eyes with Rogan momentarily. A silent nod would have to do because as if reading his fears, the shots tore the air. A spray of blood scattered the area and Sophia's fresh corpse crashed to the ground. Another roar emitted and a second round ripped through Sora, penetrating Zillia as well. Lucas felt the hyperventilating coming on but had to control himself, though poorly done. He attempted to run, but stumbled, holding Poke's shoulder momentarily for support. "Sorry..." He mumbled before continuing his awkward run.

Berial sneered at the group assignments and shot a quick, stabbing glance at Poke. He looked over at his brother too, and sighed. Alastair and Xane looked like they could hold their own, but he knew the extent of Lucas's strength and he wasn't too confident in a partnership between him and his new enemy. He pondered saying something to make peace when the shots came. BANG! BANG! One after the other, the loud shots resonated, followed by the squelch of human flesh tearing and blood leaking. Berial immediately checked to see where the others were moving and broke into a sprint. He had to put the childish feud aside, for the moment at least. This wasn't about a petty beef, three more students had just proved that, ths was about survival now. He kept his sword in tow by holding it in reverse grip and did his best to manage the weight while running, catching up to his group.
