My door's like that. It was normal, then I installed a lock. Then my parents took away the snib. So now I always seal it using a chair, a dresser and a wall.

Geez, guys. >_> You know, for the longest time I slept with the door to my room open. Why? So if something comes out of the closet or through a window, I won't be trapped in the room. Yes, such a situation will most likely never happen, but I was scared back then. Then we started to close the doors when sleeping.

Eww. That's a horrible way to think. I sealed all the windows, then confirmed that there was nothing in the wardrobe. I then sealed the door shut. It's impossible for anything to enter via the door, so I'm safe. Also, I can just smash a window to escape. :p

I have to keep my bedroom door closed at all times lest my cat get in there and wreak havoc >_>

Success! Let us celebrate! Anyway, maybe so, but still. I've figured out that most times, holing up in a place to hide is not necessarily the best idea. It's better to be in the open for more places to hide or run. And Fearless, that's a reasonable reason to close the door. And I'm afraid of heights.

When I'm asleep, I can't run anywhere. When I'm awake, I can unblock my door in an instant, or smash a window.

I'd rather have the security of knowing no one is able to enter. After all, only a witch can enter a closed room, right?

And then you're trapped! Spaze, that's exactly how I was. Then my mom told me to close my door when sleeping because she gets up early and could wake me up when I don't want to be woken...awoken?....eh, you get what i mean.

I've thought about things like that. I am kind of paranoid that something will happen in the middle of the night, and no one will be able to get to me because my door is locked. But I also hate waking up in the middle of the night to my dog trying to find a comfortable spot between my legs on my too-small bed.

    And congrats, Horizon! :'D

If something happens in the middle of the night, I don't want anyone to be able to reach me.

I just finished Umineko EP7. It was... enlightening.

I will celebrate by locking myself in my room playing Clever Sleazoid by Dir en grey with the amp on my guitar turned all the way up and scream and sing a long with it!

That's another thing. I always use headphones or earbuds. I never use speakers. I don't like others listening to what I am.

I do because I like the attention. Anyway, back to screaming along.

Attention whoring is fun, but not with family. It means you see them more than necessary.

This is a fictional family invented by someone though.

Yeah. I don't do that to my family. If I play that kind of music (and normally I turn it up really loud even I do have earbuds or headphones) my mother will kill me because she thinks I'm going deaf. Which I probably am even though my hearing seems fine. o_o

I use two amazing speakers for my music-listening. Simply because my headphones suck and everything sounds better this way. I do use my headphones when I'm recording music though.
