Luka looked back and called to Rin, "I'm in here!" Taking the remote, she turned off the tv and stood up going into the kitchen. "Good morning, Rin. I was just taking inventory and we desperately need to go to the grocery store to restock on supplies. Do you want to come along? Len can come too, of course," she said. She hoped she would say yes. Luka really didn't want to go alone. There was nothing wrong with shopping alone, but she knew that she would need some help carrying all the groceries. As an extra incentive she added,"We can something else afterwards and go somewhere, if you'd like to."

Rin smiled bright and nodded, hair moving with her as she whipped around and propelled herself through the kitchen and halls until she was near Len again. She didn't take long explaining her plans to him, letting him know that she wanted to go with Luka to the store. With a peer around the corner, she made sure both her laptop and his computer were shut down before allowing him to finish getting ready and humming all the while as she twirled and skipped right outside the door to wait for both him and Luka.

Luka smiled as she watched Rin leave. She was most likely going to relay the message to Len. In preparation to leave, Luka went back up to her room. She looked around the room quickly and found her purse. Quickly grabbing it, she rushed back downstairs and began the arduous process of putting on her laced up boots. It was going to take a while. Soon, she was ready to go and waiting for Len. Deciding to pass the time, Luka decided to talk with Rin. "So where do you and Len want to go after shopping? Also, each of you may choose one item as a snack if you want it. Don't worry about the cost." she said

Len head bobbed up and down agreeably to her words. A grin went upon his lips because the park could use a few snacks picked up from a grocery store. So with a fist pump in the air, he told her to go on ahead. Then fully dressed in his normal attire, he picked up the nearest Frisbee, baseball bat and gloves. And with these weapons for fun in hand, he bounded after his roommate eagerly awaiting the goods of the bright morning.Once he stood in between the two girls, he glanced from side to side and brandished the steel bat before them in the direction of the front lawn. Luka smiled at Len and simply nodded as she opened the door for the two younger ones before stepping outside herself and locking the door behind her. She carefully placed the key in a pocket in her purse so she would not forget it somewhere more dangerous. She then began walking along with Rin and Len towards the grocery store as it was about a 10 minute walk from the house. Not that far of a walk, plus you can never have too much exercise. Luka thought that she spent too much time in the house anyway. If she didn't watch herself, she might start gaining some fat on her, unlike Rin and Len who are just too hyperactive at their age to really gain any fatty weight. She was silent as she walked with Rin and Len, only answering a question or commenting every so often. Then after crossing a few streets, they reached the grocery store. "All right you two, you each can take one snack, all right? Now go on, and don't cause too much trouble, all right? I'll be getting the usual items. You can still tag along if you want to." she said to them as she went to get a cart and begin replenishing their food supply.

Shinichi placed his hand sin his pockets as he walked out from the park as he wondered what he should do, he could do some scoccer practice and enjoy himself or meet up with Ran for no reason, she could be doing her usual thing, doing karate and old man Mouri just drinking beer and listening to horse races, he swore that Mouri was just jealous because he never was a high school detective, last he recalled, Ran's mother Eri was a lawyer and she was sort of strict but Ran lived with her dad.

"Maybe I should shop for some stuff, if best, get a soda, it's a nice warm day." He said unde rhis breath and headed for the nearest grocery store there was, he didn't have much money but he already brought what he needs back at the house so, a cool refreshing drink is okay as he placed his hands in his pockets.

"Now what should I get...?" He said to himself quietly before hearing a woman talk to two blonde children about behaving themselves as Shinichi just chuckled silently, he remembered what it was like during that age, reading all of Sherlock Holmes's stories. watching them on film, reading other mystery novels, play scoccer and everything, he wouldn't be surprised if anyone in the grocery store noticed him, he was a popular figure for solving any crime as he helped the police on numerous occasions, of course, he never let all of that go to his head as he always must have a clear mind about every detail or else he'd miss a important clue in the case.

Luka watched the two youngsters leave her to go and find their one snack to buy. She then grabbed a cart and began to push it around the store while going down the list of all the Vocaloids at Crypton to figure out what to get. Let's see...Meiko's the oldest, not including Leon and Lola. Since those two are retired. We need some beer and sake. She took two 6-packs of beer and placed them in the cart, along with two bottles of sake. That should last for a time. If it's not enough, she can go and buy some more for herself. Now Kaito...and it's also summer now, so we need ice cream. Lots of it.Luka went to the frozen foods section and gazed at the multitude of ice cream. She didn't love it to death like Kaito, but ice cream wasn't a bad snack in the summer. There're so many different flavors! Which one should I get? I doubt Kaito really minds, but...oh I'll just get vanilla. Everyone loves vanilla. Happy with her choice, she placed two large tubs of vanilla ice cream into the cart next to the alcohol. She continued this process running down the list until she was satisfied that she had forgotten no one and that there was enough food to last a week or so. Maybe. We've got leeks, we've got plenty of fish, we've got bananas and mandarins and oranges and...some Popipo juice and other drinks. I think that's everything. Satisfied, she pushed the now heavy and filled cart to the check out line and waited for Rin and Len to find her. Should I call for them? My voice is fairly soft, I think. Clearing her throat, Luka called softly, "Rin! Len! Rin! Len!" hoping that they heard her, she waited and became worried that she'll checkout before they got to her with their two items.

Pushing the overflowing grocery cart down the isles, Rin snatched up and threw even more junk food into it . She trusted Len to be the one gathering up the...healthier items...and continued pushing through with a loud, joyous hum following her. She gripped the handle tight, propelling down the isles as if she were in a race, having a huge amount of fun before something stopped her. With a squeak, Rin found herself bumped from the cart and falling to the floor.

She lifted her head, groaning and frowning in front of her. There was a tall boy there with dark hair that she had bumped into. She blinked, scrambling up and moving to his side.

“I'm sorry!” She bowed, apologizing again and again.

Finishing his milk, he threw away the bottle and went outside. Let's see, where should I go. I've got plenty of milk so their's for me to head to the grocery store. Guess I'll go to the park. Shinichi browsed the shelves, walking until he was hit in the ankle by something metal and he lurched forward onyl to regain his balance imeediately, thankfully, there was no serious injures that will stop him from anything as he turned to see who the culprit was, it was a blonde haired girl whow as groaning from the force of crashing into him until she seemed to realize what ahd happened and began to imeediately apologized for her behaviour and causing th accient liek any child when caught doing something would do.

"You should look where you're going at least." Shinichi said to the young girl, scolding her just a little bit and he rubbed his hair. "I'm fine anyways, something like that can't keep me down for long.' He said with just a grin, speaking on the bright side of things, spekaing of bright, he wondered who this girl was. As long as he could hear her, he knew he'd be able to find her. So he did lose her for a while when she got quiet and was actually talking. But he didn't worry, his hands selected everything from a yellow bananas to red mango's. He personally picked out a cookie cake just for the house to share. And then he began the process of buying healthy things he'd knew Rin would eat despite it being good for her.

Her absence didn't worry him until her quiet began to become uncomfortable. It was then he took the armful of groceries he picked and followed her like a tracking hound. Finally he found her in front of her cart. Dumping his things carefully in the nearly full cart. He perked his ears up to listen in on the conversation. Because unless Rin was plotting something, she'd cheerfully and carelessly give away information that shouldn't be given.​

"R-Rin! Rin Kagamine!" The girl blurted, half startled half earnest. Her cheeks flushed red, a hand going to the back of her head to scratch with nervousness. Slowly, she beckoned Len to her side, pulling her own cart in front of her and tilting her head. There were three of them now, and just enough groceries had been purchased for a picnic or dinner of some sort. Which reminded Rin of the plans her and her twin had for after this visit. The park. She jumped, as if experiencing an epiphany and grinned wider, leaning in towards the man. "Want to go to the park with us?" She casually invited, with little regard to Len's feelings.

"Shinichi Kudo." He introduced himself, he honestly wouldn't be surprised if other shoppers stopped to hear those words as he was kinda famous in Japan, probably the modern Sherlock Holmes.

He said thoughtfully, it would be somewhere to go but Rin was practically inviting him without knowing much about him to join her and he suspected the young boy she called over from afar was her twin now that he took a quick glance. "Well, I suppose I can, i got nothing much to do anyway." He said to Rin.

Rin grinned, spinning around childishly and nodding quickly. “Well, then nice to meet you, Mr. Kudo!†She tilted her head to the side, furrowing her eyebrows together thoughtfully. She had heard that name before. Where? She knew this man, she was sure of it. But she was too eager for that park thing to happen to pay attention to it. In a flash, she had put one foot on the cart and pushed herself off with the other, zooming down the aisles as carelessly as she had before, until she reached the check out point.

She began to put her items on the conveyer belt, humming loudly to herself as they bagged the groceries. She knew Len was close behind, and smiled to herself even more, paying for the groceries and heading back towards the man, grabbing Shinichi's sleeve and pulling him out of the store, into the parking lot. She threw the groceries in the back and rubbed the back of her head, waiting for Len to join them.

Suddenly Luka drifted to a stop in her car just outside the grocery store. She hastily got out having spotted Rin and Len with a stranger. "Hey! Get away from them!" she shouted at the boy. At Rin and Len, she shouted "What are the two of you doing? You're too young to be going shopping without someone older! You should've waited until Miku was free before going." As she got closer she glared at the youth daring to take her beloved twins away. She quickly opened the trunk and put their groceries in it. Afterwards, she went back to the group and crossed her arms. "Now explain yourself! she demanded.

Rin's cheeks flushed. She hated being scolded, but knew they rightfully deserved it. Shifting and pointing her gaze to the sky in thought, she moved behind Len and nudged him in front of her and in Luka's direction for additional protection, turning back and forth on her heels quietly.

"U-um...We're sorry. We just wanted to play! And-err...Go to the park..." She had thought about blaming Len, but she did that so often she knew the act was getting stale. She would simply use it another time.

Len looked about, a gasp. Something taller, pinker, and incredibly fast had taken the bags from their hands and cart. And suddenly, the cart was gone too. It was then he figured that they were in big trouble now. But like multiple times before hand, Rin's devious thinking saved them, for the moment it seemed. "Luka don't be upset! We're fourteen so I figured we could handle ourselves so I dragged and convinced Rin to come with me..I guess we caused more trouble for you and this poor man." Oceanic eyes came up to meet and disarm Luka's heated gaze on the man. After all, it wasn't his fault for being an innocent player in one of the twins games.​

Shinichi held up his hands in defence, thsi woman who arrived was clearly angry with him for talkign to perhaps her family members if he had to guess and spoke. ""Okay then, but first, I'll point out a few things." he put up a index finger and his others clenched. "First, Miss Kagamine had merely crashed her trolly into my heel, I wasn't injured at all." he then brought up his middle finger. "Secondly, she did apologize for the accident and I accepted that apology so no need to scold her." then he brought up a third finger. " Thirdly, she asked if I wanted to go the park with her and I said I can because I have nothing else to do with my time." then came a fourth finger. "Next, she asked me if I could drive and her twin said the p word, I haven't answered that one yet." he glanced at Rin. And yes miss kagamine, I do drive but isn't the park right across the street?" He asked her and turned to the young woman.

"And finally, I had no intention of ill will towards these two, they merely didn't know the consequences of their actions and have apologized." He placed his hands in his pockets. "if you don't believe my words, the other customers and the video cameras in this store can provide my alib and what I said." He finished, waiting for the woman's response.
