With my newfound obsession with Bioshock, I shall introduce plasmids to the café.


BIC:

Teddy wondered if that supply of EVE hypos he ordered on Amazon had arrived. As usual he took the stairs down to the lobby (for exercise). He asked concierge if a package with his name on it was in his mailbox, and when they said no, he went to the café. And that's when he saw it.

He walked toward the EVE machine, sliding his hand across the newly polished chrome. Teddy had been waiting for this for months, so he popped in 20 dollars and out came an EVE syringe. He jabbed it into his wrist as he had seen it been done before, and boy, did it hurt.

Teddy felt his limbs go slack, and his eyes formed big, black spots in his vision. He blacked out less than a second later. When he finally gained consciousness, he was on the floor, in the kitchen. All the waiters and chefs ignored him completely, as if it were everyday they saw a butler on the kitchen floor.

He flexed his left arm, the one he had jabbed, and moved his fingers. He heard the crackle of electricity when he put his left hand up to his ear, and knew he had done it right. He aimed his arm towards a trashcan and...


ZAP!


Teddy grinned from ear to ear. He would try the flame EVE syringe tomorrow.

 

OOC: Butler with superpowers. I like.

 

OOC:I dibs the flame one. It'll be so much easier to caramelize my creme brûlée that way.

 

OOC: The EVE machine is available to anyone if they want to use it. It costs 20 dollars.

Let's see if we can get Jayn to approve of this. You know, getting it on the menu. Although you would have to use rep to pay for it...

OOC: Well the "superpowers" are called plasmids, and you need EVE to use your plasmids.

The different types of plasmids are:


☆ Electro Shock (What I have.)

☆ Incinerate! (The flame one. Lox wants that one.)

☆ Telekinesis


There are more Physical Tonic plasmids, but we can probably add those later.

Mmkay. BEATING LIFE BACK INTO THIS, sorry guys. I was gone for a bit, but I'm back now. Going to be adding things today and tomorrow. I'll also be posting at least once a day from now on. Unless something happens. xD

Anything Else: Well, there's no teachers now, so I guess Loxie will have to come in for independent study.

IC: Loxie dropped her last bag in the dorm room. The school dorms were finally open, so she could move out if the Hearts Content Inn. It was nice having a space to call her own. She took a look around the room: the standard issue bed was bare, but unslept-in. She could put sheets on later. The small desk in the corner next to the window was also standard issue, but nice, made of real laquered oak rather than plywood covered with thin sheets of cedar. Loxie nodded to herself then left the room, promising herself she would unpack after classes.

She hoisted her bag full of text books higher on her shoulder. Room 203, 204, aha! 205. Biology. She opened the door; there was practically no one in the class room. A few students, some reading from the text book, some doodling or playing DS or surfing the Internet on their laptops or otherwise procrastinating. Nervous, Loxie walked to the nearest person, one leafing through the text book. "Where's the teacher?" she asked.

 

OOC:I thought Loxie was at the cafe with me and machi? XD

 

I walked into the park and saw someone coming to greet me from a distance.
