Fire had checked in and was assigned to run one of the roller coasters. It was fairly quiet and there was barely anyone there save for the employees. She wondered if there was actually ANYONE at all in the park. Well, it is a weekday which means school and work. Which further meant probably no one would be waiting in a long line for this roller coaster. Coming to this conclusion, Fire turned to go to the Heart's Content cafe. Yayeah! Erry single day! she mentally cheered as a smile came to her face. As soon as she stepped in, she immediately went to look at the menu to see what they had. She also admired the interior design. Such color and warmth.

 

OOC: If you were a toy maker, you'd have to be making toys in one of the existing places so it depends on if it would make sense, lawl. But other then that I don't really mind adding the job?

"Oh, crap!" She stopped for a minute, noticing the boy before her--and also noticing that she was still looking ridiculous. "I knew I heard someone! I knew I hadn't gone crazy! ...Um." She stopped her movements and looked around awkwardly. The silence wasn't as eerie as before, now that she wasn't alone.

She believed those were the noises her shoes were making, but it was only in her head. She had only her large blue backpack slung on her shoulders with a picture of Rainbow Dash on it (Kingdom Heart keys, a Soul Eater symbol, and a Spider Man keychain dangled off from it), a black hoodie with some music notes on it, and blue jeans with Converse. Rainbow Dash, Dashie, Dash, Maka, what ever they called her, those were her names. Her hands were stuffed in her pockets as she walked, keeping her eyes looking straight forward, the key around her neck jangled with each step she make as it swung back and forth into the beads that were on the same string. Taking in a deep breath, she saw the colorful buildings glint against the warm sunlight and couldn't help but to smile slightly.

What did this place have to offer...?

"Um...Right. Anyway, are you here to enroll too? It'd be nice to have a classmate that's not...What's the word...Bland, I guess." Heartless said to the girl. There was silence for a few seconds before Heartless began speaking again. "Uh...My name's Heartless. Nice to meet you...What's your name?" He asked the girl, not trying to sound rude.

What did it take to get some service around here? thouht Teddy. Nothing has changed... Teddy walked a bit back behind the counter, and he found his old bellhop/butler uniform. It still had his name on it. He smiled.

Just then, he heard footsteps.

 

As Dash walked through the streets, a strange but sweet warm smell met her nose. She wiggled it and then inhaled it, smelling the sugary cinnamon scent wafting in the air. Her stomach growled, making her scoff and clutch her tummy as it rumbled. "Hush you," she scolded playfully before she stopped walking and looked over to her left. Right there was the source of the lovely smell; a cafe and inn.

"Hm?" She raised an eyebrow as she turned to it, tilting her head as she looked at it carefully. She was hungry, and she needed a temporary place to stay for the time being. Maybe this was a good place to start? Sighing out softly, Dash shifted her backpack straps on her shoulders and made her way across the street very calmly.

When she finally reached the door, Dash pushed it open gently and stepped inside the friendly and warm atmosphere. From a first glance, she could see someone sitting down in a corner drinking something. Another person, probably a worker, was standing close to her table.

Dash didn't make an attempt to move just yet, she was still looking over everything. Should she get something now? Or wait later? Or go check in? "Come on, Dash," she muttered to herself, "Pick something."

After looking at the menu for a time and comparing prices as she wasn't that loaded with cash at the moment, Fire finally came to a decision. "Um yes, I'd like to have a smoothie please. Do you know what flavors they come in?" she asked the nearest available waitress or waiter. A smoothie seemed like the best deal on the menu. Though the other desserts and foods sounded fantastic as well, Fire was pushed for cash right now but once she had enough from this job, she'd definitely visit this place far more often.

 

Brit rubbed his eyes. The light shined through the window, and he blinked. What? What time was it? He felt like he'd slept for days. He slid out if his bed, sheets limply hanging around him as he stood up. He fumbled blindly for the analog clock on his desk, angling it towards him. Flashing. Must not have set the alarm. He glanced at his clothes. He had worn a suit and tie to bed.

He shrugged and pulled open the door. He pulled a map from his back pocket. Where did he work again?

Honestly, I am slightly intimidated by this all, but... I promised somebody that I would join, and so here I am~

 

@Heartless; "Erm. Nice to meet you too. My name is Jayn," She mumbled, shyly. So far in this world, she had yet to interact with very many people. Being face to face with a stranger now was making her slightly nervous. In any case, things should prove to become far more entertaining now that this person was there. "And yeah! I mean. Sort of. Well...Yes. I still have to register for classes, officially. I guess I'm just kind of here for now, despite the uniform and...such. What are your classes?"

Kayate sat atop the large desk set in the front of the rather small classroom - the teacher's desk in the music room. He sat with an acoustic guitar propped upon his leg, strumming delicately at the strings upon the body of the guitar. "Where the hell are they...?" he muttered to himself, subconsciously having his speech mirror the beat made by his guitar. He slowly took his left hand from the neck of the guitar, running it through his brown hair with a small sigh. The teacher of the class is strangely late, which is all the more pleasing to Kayate. His hazel eyes glint against the piercing sun peering through the windows, which gives him an excuse to slowly lower his head, his hair masking his face from the outside world. He places his hand back to the strings, once again beginning to play, his fingers delicately pluck the strings individually, as if each one had a magnificient tale to tell the world.

Loxie walked back into the kitchen, please that the customer had liked her hot chocolate. As she walked through the door, her nose was greeted by the wonderful smell of cinnamon buns. Mmm. They're done. Sure enough, just as she put on her oven mitts, the timer she set went off. She pulled the cinnamon buns off of the tray and onto a cooling rack.

She poked her head out to the girl she had served a moment ago. "Do you want a cinnamon bun? They're fresh."

 

Kelly had noticed she was no longer the only customer in the Cafe, she tried to avoid any eye contact, she wasn't really in the mood for awkward, polite, conversation. She carried on drinking her Hot Chocolate, trying her hardest not to dip her nose into the mug, in fear she would get some Hot Chocolate on the end of it. The smell of the freshly toasted cinnamon buns was ever so tempting, Kelly liked the idea of skipping class and stuffing her face with the glorious food of HC's finest Cafe. But alas, she could not.
"No, thank you." She said, finishing off her drink, placing the mug back on the counter before hurrying out the Cafe.
"Thanks again~"

 

Midnight was just wandering round to look at the new jobs and her face lit up as she saw they wanted teachers at the new academy, as much as she liked her little job at the cafe, it wasn't really as forfilling as she'd like her job to be. She wanted a challenge and she hadn't done physics at university to spend her life working in a cafe. This was perfect. She picked up a form and quickly set about filling it in.

"Alright then. Have a nice day!" Loxie waved as she picked up the mug. She put it in the sink for the cleaning staff to do later. A customer up front asked for a menu and she handed one over. The regular servers weren't here, so she said, "Let me know when you decide, ok?"

 

Dash sighed out, not knowing what to do at the moment and everyone seemed too busy and occupied in the cafe. She shrugged her shoulders, choosing a booth by the window and out of the way of the little crowd. She then slid her backpack off her shoulders and on the bench next to her and pulled out a colorful folder after unzipping it. Placing it in front of her and opening it, she found the little job applications inside and smiled to herself. "Here we go. I guess we can start here, hm?" Pulling the pen that was resting behind her ear, she shook it a bit and began to fill out the two pieces of paper in front of her.

Feenie trudged along the empty streets of HC slowly, still trying to drag out the time he had before going to class and trying to clear out the negative thoughts glued stubbornly inside his mind. They kept leading him to worry about what his classmates or his teachers might be like, not to mention if he could even make friends here, and now that he was on his lonesome, those thoughts pierced many more layers of dread into his heart. He sighed in defeat when his efforts gave him no comfort and plunged his hands deep within his pockets, determined not to look up until he reached his destination.

The School building it looked both astonishing and intimidating. Kelly was almost intimidated enough to turn around and run back down the hill, retreating to the safety of her cosy bed. Almost. She breathed in and puffed up her chest. She could do this. She wanted to believe she could, at least. She breathed out again, taking in the sight of the magnificent building. Yes, I can do this. Nodding to herself and pulling her knee socks, she entered the building.

I hope I can make at least..one new friend.. Nervously biting her lip, she repeated her school schedule over in her head.The short haired girl turned on the balls of her feet and listened. Music. Yes, she could hear music. Curious, she followed the gentle tune, almost dancing to every strum. She poked her head around the small classroom door, to see a boy, delicately strumming away on his guitar. Social interaction would be good, yes. Don’t be shy now, say hey.

Kelly carefully stepped into the classroom, not wanting to disturb the student. She opened her mouth, confident. Yes, she wasn't going to be the shy girl anymore. The boy seemed to slightly turn his head. She squeaked. That was her greeting. How pathetic.
