Loxaie sat in her room in the dorm, still waiting for her roommate to show up. She still had a half an hour until she had to go to work, so she decided to do a bit of studying.

What seemed like five minutes later, Loxie looked up to see the minute hand on her clock pointed at the 5. Already?! I'm going to be late!

Buzz buzz. Ergh. Kelly rolled over and buried herself in her quilt, attempting to drown out the noise. Five more minutes, please. She didn't appreciate early mornings, if she had it her way, she would sleep all day. Yeah, that'd be nice. The alarm continued to buzz, the short haired girl sighed and wriggled her out of her comfy cocoon, slamming her fist onto the clocks "Off" button. It was a School day, how boring. She went over her schedule in her head, repeating it over and over again. English, History, Lunch. English, History, Lunch. English, History, A big, fat, well deserved Lunch.. Kelly smiled and flipped off her bed covers and went to go get ready for the day.



Occ; Oh god, that post was so bad ;_; So how is everyone today? c:

 

It had been over a year since Teddy had visited HC; work there. He missed the place dearly. In that period of time, he had gotten another job at a law firm in New York, but was fired because of "behavorial isues". Teddy thougt, screw them. They needed a creative mind and the lost it completely. As Teddy drove up to Heart's Content in his Porsche Panamera (he made sure to pupousely break his leg before getting fired so he could live off of his pension money), he briefly recalled the cafe, which he had many good memories of. He gave his car to one of the young men working the valet parking and walked inside.

It was more grand than Teddy remembered! The staff were even... livelier. He went to the front desk, hoping to find out whether he would be able to regain his position as butler again at the amazing Heart's Content.​

OOC: God, I missed thisplace. It's good to be back.

 

It was a very sunny morning for Din. It was also the day she started her job at the cafe! She had applied to be a dish-washer for the cafe and to her surprise she actually got accepted! Now, this didn't mean Din had no experience with the dishes. She washed the dishes at home and during Home Economics classes she would wash dishes too. Her work area would always be very clean and tidy - as if the appliances were bought yesterday! After washing all the dishes, Din made sure that the whole sink area was wiped dry and nothing was out of place. One could say Din had quite the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder while she worked but nothing was proven.

Din began to make her way towards the cafe. She liked to walk during pleasant early mornings and with walking there was no need to spend anything. So really, everything was just going very lovely that day. She hoped that even during her working hours, that everything still went very lovely.

OOC: Good lord...Yesterday there were only a few of us. But now...

Just as Heartless was about to fill out the last line, he heard a voice from outside the library doors. "Maybe I'm not alone in the school. Thank goodness." He filled out the last line of the application and walked outside the library and into the office to turn in his application. The blank stares from the school staff were...creepy, at best. Without a word, he stepped back into the hallways, and decided to call back to the voice he heard earlier.
"Hellooo?"

No answer. "Welp, guess I have to go a'searchin'." He said in a badly-done southern accent.

OOC: Now that we've got all these participants, things should be much more fun around here. DON'T YOU LEAVE US, DARNIT!

 

Kelly hummed as she walked along the brightly colored pavements of Heart's Content, jumping from slab to slab. The hardest decision she had to make so far was what to wear; she still felt unsure of her choice of dress, as usual. She was wearing a dress, a very rare sight indeed! She adored the Gothic Lolita style and wished she could afford more dresses like them. She stopped jumping outside the Cafe~ A morning cup of Hot Chocolate before School sounded like a lovely idea!~ She adjusted knee socks and went inside.

Occ; I know Deadpool! I'm so happy, yay. <3 Also, being paranoid about my post /ahh. I feel as if others will laugh at me.

 

Feenie sighed deeply as he slumped his orange backpack over his scrawny shoulders, a distasteful look forming on his face as he glanced out to the colourful streets of HC. His first class of the day was due to start in about an hour or so and the very thought of walking into another school did not appeal to him at all. The last one he had attended left a bad taste in his mouth and he certainly wasn't looking forward to starting over with new people. Slowly, making sure to waste enough time as possible, he made his way out of his small abode.

BIC- Firekeyblade tried to walk nonchalantly through the park gates, as if she didn't care all that much(which she sort of didn't) but a good amount of tension was still evident. This was one of the few decisions she made on a whim. A week earlier, she had seen a flier of the park and it looked like a lot of fun. The fine print at the very bottom of the flier had caught her eye. "Now hiring". She had always wanted to work in an amusement park. The operators looked sort of bored, but as long as the coworkers were fun and cool, what did it matter if a job was boring? Besides, she was getting paid to push buttons. She didn't have to smile too much out of force, and it also had the most popular cafe and inn to ever grace this place. All in all it sounded like a good deal. But of course Fire, as she somewhat preferred to be called officially (though she didn't mind other nicknames like the commonly used FKB just that she always found it somewhat amusing if in a situation someone called her name and an onlooker might've thought it was an emergency though that hasn't happened thus far), was always nervous on the first day of anything. Even if she didn't outwardly show it. Thus, with tension in her shoulders, she trudged to where the e-mail said the supervisor would be to report in and get acquainted with what she'd have to do. Just relax. Come on. Lighten up. It's a theme park! Go buy a snack or something afterward. Yeah. Just come on. It'll be cool. Yes. It will be cool. She is cool. Everything is okay. Yes.

 

"Hello?~"
The Cafe was eerily quiet, too quiet. In fact, all of HC seemed to be a Ghost Town, it apparently used to be lively, and bustling with happy faces but then all the people went "poof" and left without saying goodbye, how very sad. Kelly walked up to the counter, adjusting her knee socks nervously along the way. She called out again;

"Heeeellllo?~"

Still no answer, she huffed, pouting her lips. She was looking forward to a Hot Chocolate too. Her eyes scanned the counter top, among the usual clutter, she found a bell, with a small sign that read "Ring for assistance" Kelly looked behind her, then tip toed attempting to see the Kitchen and whatnot. There didn't seem to be any life, she put her feet back on the ground and dinged the bell. Hoping it would capture somebodies attention, preferably a member of Staff.

 

Loxie was in the kitchen baking some cinnamon buns and cookies when she heard the front bell ring. She poked her head out the door to see a petite girl who seemed very upset at not being served.

"May I help you?"

 

Kelly gave a small smile to the waitress, before nodding her head slightly.

"Yes, please." She peered at the menu, another item on the Counter, she smiled again as her eyes scanned over what she wanted. Without thinking, she pointed at the neat words. Her cheeks flushed, how rude it was to point, she snatched her arm back and hid it behind her back.

"Uhm, May I have a Hot chocolate, please?"

 

"FFFFF!" She knew she was hearing something and she was far too young to be going crazy. ...Well, maybe not, but she refused to accept her insanity if it was there. NOT YET.

"SHOW YOURSELF, MYSTERIOUS VOICE!" She shouted, no longer afraid of disrupting the other classes. Not after seeing them all just...sitting...there. She stood in the center of a long hall way, swiveling about ridiculously, and hoping for a reaction.​

Heartless flinched at the sound of someone yelling. "OH, GOD, DON'T HURT ME!" He stood there for a moment, before snapping out of hit fit of fear before running toward the sound of the girl's voice. It sounded like it was coming from a hallway from the way it was echoing. Looking through the hallways, he eventually came across someone-a real person-. She was, as Jayn puts it, swiveling around ridiculously, probably looking for Heartless. He walked up to her. "You, are you the one that screamed...and scared the crap out of me?" He asked the girl, hoping she wasn't some kind of beast.

 

OOC: This is all I'm filling out for right now since I have no idea what to really do and everything else is pretty much taken.

Anything Else: I'm going through a really hard time in my life at the moment and I'm not feeling well. Kelly has invited me here for that reason. I will be at work and school a lot so I am not here most of the time... But I'll try to come on as often as I can.​

Little Idea: Uuuum... yush. I dunno if this will work since we already have places and stuff... but I was wondering... If I could get a job, can it be like a toy maker? Ooooor should I just find something left over in the job area? ><

 

"Of course!" Loxie said with a smile. But when she turned around, she realized she had no idea how to make hot chocolate, or even where the ingredients were. Uh oh. Loxie thought, panic crossing her face, I'm a pastry chef! They never told me where the ingredients were! Wait! Did that cookbook...?

She walked quickly into the kitchen and pulled a cookbook off of the shelf. Yes! On page 37, there was a recipe for "Best Hot Chocolate". And all of the ingredients were things she needed for baking. She put a sauce pan on the stove and got to work.

Just under three minutes later, she emerged with a steaming mug filled to the brim with hot chocolate. "Sorry for the wait," Loxie said as she carefully passed the mug over.

 

Kelly smiled and carefully took the hot drink from Loxare's hands.
"Thank you." She said nodding, she blew on her drink a little, attempting to cool it down "Oh, money" Kelly bent down, and started fiddling with one of her knee socks, her cheeks flushed, she must've looked like an idiot. She rose up back, handing the Chef her Rep Card. I should've brought a bag..She thought to herself, how embarrassing. She took tiny sips of her pipping drink
"Ah~So yummy"
