Company...? Ann Marie wondered, curious but somewhat frightened. And she wasn't the type to get frightened by a mere structure of words. And who were these people around her? She sat up. She could see a girl, from the looks of it, she was insane or something. Then there were three boys. One with a sword, one crying, and one moving forward. Narrowing her deep crimson eyes, the girl stood up.

"Hey. You, Mr. Badass, don't you think it's a bad idea to keep going until we figure out at least where we are?" She murmured. Her voice was soft but firm, her eyes scanning her surroundings. Red eyes. In the trees and the bushes. She couldn't imagine whom they belonged to, and she didn't think she wanted to know. Shaking her head, she fixed her gaze once again on the one walking forward.

Before she could manage to walk towards him, her body suddenly lit up. She flinched, wondering if she were on fire before realizing the light gave off a nice cool aura. Tilting her head, she stood her ground once more. In front of her, a long sharp scythe appeared. She raised her eyebrows. Was this her's? Hesitantly, she reached a hand out to grip the base of the handle. Warmth spread through her body. A familiar warmth, moving to her core and filling her with confidence. She stood in front of it.

"At least we have weapons...But who are we using them against...?"

Personality: Sweet, kind and caring is her outer figure. Like Yin, shes cruel and loves to trick people into things using her Treat personality. Out of the pair, she does the most talking and planning too, making her very Leader like.

Weapon: Bow and arrows. The Bow has silver down the side that curls over with strong string. The arrows are similar to the bow, only with no curls.

Other: Using her bow and arrows, she can hit practically any target, right where she wants it. She leads over Len and tells him what to do, not caring really what might happen to him. Often given the nickname - Daughter of Evil for her personality.

Personality: Silent is his outer figure. Inside, hes just like Rin, maybe even worse but has mercy, giving him a Yang type. He will follow any command of Rin's even if it costs him going to hell. After all, hes died once befoer and knows what its like.

Weapon: A sword. The hilt is golden while the blade is normal iron. If protecting someone, (mainly gonna be Rin) its transforms into a bigger and more powerful blade with a ruby blade.

Other: Hes fast and strong, making himself Rin's personal servant and giving himself the nickname - Servant of Evil. He serves Rin without a care, his mian goal being that she gets to Heaven even if it means he goes to hell.

 

Alianne backed up, her eyes wide, reaching for something, anything. She grabbed a piece of wood....no, a staff. Just like the one her dad let her use to practice. She swung it in a circle expertly, then addressed the girl. "I think we use them on whatever's in there. Unless you want to be "merciful" and kill us all."

 

James listened to Alianne as she said that. He drew his sword, glowing bright white, and assumed a stance. He's not sure why he said the next couple of words as he saw a couple of the demons starting to come into view:

"Semper fi," he muttered.

 

Seth walked threw the door and to his surprise he saw a jungle area "wow" Seth said in awe as he looked around the place "this is waaayyyyyyy better than that white room" Seth said to himself and continued to walk forward until he came upon 5 other people. Seth was surprised that there were other people there

Personality: She's socially awkward, but if you get to know her, she's a huggy person. She tries to make everyone feel okay, and regardless if its her fault or not, she hates to see someone sad, it hurts her. She alse hates being alone, so she constantly talks with the plush bird in her hat.
Weapon: Parma, she can now shape-shift into different weapons, and form herself on Eden's limbs if needed. She can change her hardness from soft as feathers to hard as diamonds.
Other: Eden constantly talks with Parma, for Parma seems to be "alive" in some way. She seems to be a little loopy when you first meet her.

 

Several of the demons started to come from the trees. James watched as many of them as he could, but there were far too large of a number. He started to back up, towards the others. It was odd, though: As large of a number as they had, they didn't start attacking. They only moved slowly towards them. James' sword started to glow brighter.

"Semper fi," he said again. He kept thinking those words, over and over.

 

After several murmurs, Rhone started hearing growling. Still not worrying about what was going on, he kept his head buried in his arms. All of a sudden, even though his eyes were closed, he was blinded by a bright light. "Ugh," he moaned as an uneasy feeling came over him. The feeling and light stayed until he heard two clicks coming from between his legs. He moved his arms and looked down at two guns that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The barrels were long and thick with a metallic black coating. But the hammer was a pure white. I get it now..I'm supposed to kill myself...again. He wondered if ghosts could commit suicide as he picked up one of the guns. "Wha.." The gun felt weird, like he was reattaching an arm, it just fit. He picked up the other gun and was about to aim that one to his head, but the gun seemed to want to point elsewhere. The left gun guided his hand forward until he was pointing at..."What in the world is that?!" He yelled out. Looking around, he saw more of those..those monsters. But he also saw something else, he wasn't the only one with a weapon.

The bright red eyes stared into Axel's wide gray ones. "What the hell?" He mumbled, feeling, yet again, a fear he wasn't accustomed to. This thing had come out of the bushes, he hadn't even noticed watching him. A tongue dropped out and whipped the air, as if it could taste Axel's mere presence. "This...can't..." He took a step back, tripping over something. And then it happened: He seemed to fall in slow motion, his body heated up to unbearable temparatures, but only for an instant. The second he hit the ground, he was back to normal and still worried about the monster in front of him. Holding back a whimper, he reached around for a rock, a stick, anything to defend himself with! He grabbed a branch, no, not a branch. It was too hard and round. He swung it forward but the monster jumped back, still tasting the air. "What the HELL?!" He repeated again as he stared at what he had grasped. It was a giant sword. The blade was as wide as his torso and must've been at least 5 feet long. The hilt was golden, maybe half a foot in length. The sword must have weighed a ton, but it was light as could be in his hands. He jumped to his feet, walking back slowly, keeping the blade pointed at the creature. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw other people also had weapons. His mouth twitched as his eyes narrowed at the creature. "Demon? Looks like the Underworld just got a hell of a lot more fun!" He said as he grabbed the hilt with both hands.

 

Shaking her head, Alianne spun the staff, her eyes narrowed as she put her back to the others and backed up toward them. Providing they didn't stab her in the back, she could handle them later. Right now these beasties needed taking care of. The only question was, who was going to make the first move. Except for the exclamations of the others, there was silence. So this was Heaven. Nice.

 

James tried to keep his eyes on everything, trying to make sure nothing snuck up on him. He didn't anticipate the speed of the demons, though: One directly in front of him charged at him, throwing him back a bit and pinned him to the ground. James held his blade with both hands, keeping it in the demon's mouth, doing all he could to keep the demon from hacking him to pieces...and whatever else the beast had in store for him. If this was what the road to heaven was going to be like, he wasn't off to a very good start.

 

Seth started to step backwards in fear as e saw the demons appear. Just looking at the red eyes mad him really scard. Seth continued to move back but then tripped backwards. He suddenly noticed two swords stuck in the ground. Seth quickly got up and ran up to the swords I need something to defend with Seth thought as he drew the swords from the ground and stood his ground

 

James dodged the demons claws as he held it's head back, it's teeth snapping and thrashing to get him. This wasn't at all like the cartoons or manga, back when he was alive.

Alive? Wait, when did he die?

The runes on his sword started to glow again, this time, bright yellow. The demon seemed to delight in that glow, the more James showed fear of the creature.

BIC: Eden gasped as she "woke up". "Where am I? Where's the..." she looked around, feeling nothing. Parma, the small bird plush, fell upon her lap, and moving only to look up to Eden. "Parma... I'm scared... Where are we?... I don't remember anything..." Parma only stared at Eden with marker eyes, emotionless, and the eyes were slightly off. "I'm all alone, dear..." She whimpered, hugging Parma. "I'm all alone like before..."

 

Ann Marie took a step back, gripping the scythe and quickly looking around her, an incredious look on her face.

"What is this?" She questioned, her voice shaking. She felt her body trembling as well, her hand struggling to keep hold of the oddly light weighted weapon. The stranger in front of her had a sword, defending himself from a demon. Maybe she would try and help? No. No, she wasn't the type. She'd much rather use this as a distraction to go on ahead and ditch these strangers.

Why were they even gathered here? It felt like a videogame. With a discontent sigh, Ann Marie thrust the hilt of her scythe into the ground, holding the long snath tightly. Her heart was pounding. War. That's the only word ringing in her head, embedded in her heart, drilling her instincts. This was war. She wasn't defending her country, or this world, or innocent people, no. And unless this was hell, she was fighting for her own life, on a much bigger scale--Eternity. Realizing this, her gaze turned to the others. Running off into the woods would be foolish, especially when she had aid in this place.

Suddenly, the number of creatures became greater. They moved in quickly, a sea of black and red surrounding the group. Ann Marie stumbled back, grounding her self with her scythe and looking at the others. There was no way they could take them alone.

"D-damn it..." She muttered, glaring forward and swinging her weapon over her shoulder. Even if they failed, there was no way, even in hell, she would go out without a fight. She grinned.

"Wait! Wait, wait, wait!" A high-pitched voice echoed through the area without an obvious point of source. Ann Marie cocked an eyebrow, looking up into the sky.

"What was that?" Ann Marie wondered.

Klover squealed, holding her hands out in front of her and squeezing her eyes shut. She hadn't done this in so long, she couldn't remember how to stop. Soaring down from dark clouds, the pale girl opened and narrowed her bright azure eyes, her long silver hair flowing behind her.

"Hm." She halted right in front of Axel, dropping calmly onto her feet and facing the eager demons, the bow in her hair resting coolly against her back. Her bare feet felt warm against the wet soil beneath them. Her eyes flashed, her body pulsing. It had been so long, this felt so good. "You're not to harm them here. You know that."

The demons stepped back, reluctant. Klover held a hand out in front of her, a long white double-blade sword appearing in front of her. The demon taunting James jumped away from him, darting quickly towards Klover with a deep growl from behind. She tensed, turning quickly and turning the blade, slicing the air in front of her. The demon continued forward for a second before stopping, it's red eyes wide. In an another instant, it was gone. Completely disappated.

Klover grinned to herself. "Not bad for someone out of the business for a few decades, eh?" She turned, giggling childishly as the other demons gradually disappeared. "Now, I suppose I should explain things..."

 

Eden noticed a large black door, staring at it with concern, she stood up, Parma coming to her shoulder. "I wonder where this leads, Parma?" There was no knob, but a knob hole. Parma realized this, and shitfted as a replacement knob of the door. "Thank you, deary." Eden smiled to this and turned the knob of Parma, to find herself in a drowning and cooling sensation. The Forest was seen before her, Parma in her pocket.

 

Alianne spun her staff lazily, watching the girl. Now that the threat was taken care of, she would watch her back against these people, whoever this girl was, and whoever these other kids were. She didn't care. They would probably all get eaten anyway, so what would the point be of making friends? Letting the staff click shut, she put it away and watched the group, crossing her arms.

 

James coughed hard, struggling to get up. The runes on his sword started to fade, turning back to white, then not glowing at all. Finally, he managed to get up on his feet. He clutched his shoulder; apparently he hurt it when the demon sent him flying backwards.

He looked at the one who called it off. None of this was making sense.

"What is going on here, exactly?" he muttered, "If this is supposed to be the 'path to Heaven', how come there aren't more of us?"

 

Klover turned to James, her head tilting to the side and her eyes widening at the question. Sometimes I forget that it's not instinct for them... She looked around before sitting down in front of the group.

"It isn't like that." She mumbled, almost irritably. She was struggling to find the words to say. "You all have something in common, whether you see it or not." She watched as Ann Marie faced her, a mocking smirk on her face as if to say 'yeah right'. Why didn't they see it? The connection was so clear to her. But then again, she wasn't human.

She leaned forward and ran her pale fingers through her long hair, pausing. "There are other worlds, and other trials for other people. You all here have similar strengths and weaknesses. This is why you are grouped together. You should be thankful that you don't have to do it alone, though you can if you chose to..." She stopped talking, thinking quietly and casting her eyes down.

"But it wouldn't be wise..."

 

James gripped his sword, and looked down, shutting his eyes tight.

"This just doesn't make any sense....you say we're dead......why don't I remember it? For that matter....why don't I remember anything?!"

He stabbed his sword into the ground, the runes glowing bright red, the light getting brighter.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!"
