This is based on the idea of a man fighting his drug addiction after having to leave his love, his unborn child and fighting addiction. And the Reason the title is AL, is vecause that's the guys name of course, but I got the idea, because every starting letter of each line spells out AL.

And the day roles on, from the dawn,
Like I’ve been away for so oh long,

And back again coming from my addiction,
Love caused our time in the bedroom, causing friction,

And I left behind the gravel and dirt,
Left you with nothing, but that unborn baby to birth,

And here I come, welcome me back,
Lest I go turn over, to the needle, and my deluded crack,

And now it’s night, the mid time start,
Laughter, at the thought we will never part​

 

kinda a sad story.

each part telling a tale....
of an addiction that will never end.

counting the days with great fear.
waiting the moment that death comes near.

the love for the addiction will never end.
as much of the tears will never fade.

woah, what a sad poem wich got me rhyming too.

its so short yet it portrays a lot.

theres really nothing wrong with it.

now, i really wanna post my own poems.

 

I like the feel of this one, no reason that I can think of though. Actually I appreciate that it has a kinda rhythm to it and actually rhymes without sounding like a silly limerick.

 

Well thanks, I guess since I haven't done a poem in so long I made a good one. I mean I make these on the spot really, so I guess you either have good or bad ones, dpending on the day.

 

inspiration comes in different ways, and forms, the poems made out of pure esscense are always the best ones.
