            So, zombies aren’t unheard of, right? They bite you, you turn into one. They’re generally known as the “undead”. Blahblahblah, some people will believe in anything… So, let’s try to think of a reasonable explanation. Let’s say…Zombies didn’t just spawn from out of nowhere because they felt like it. Let’s go with the parasite theory. There does indeed exist a parasite that mainly infects cats. It is called the Toxoplasma gondii. This parasite infects rats and alters the rats ways of thinking by moving up to the brain, making them attracted to cats and seek them out. The rats are then devoured and the parasite achieve it’s true objective which was to infect the cat, which then proceeds to go around infecting everything else it can before it dies. Smart parasite, eh? Good thing they don’t infect humans! Well…there’s the thing. They do.
            
            Toxoplasma gondii is easily transmitted by eating raw or undercooked food, or even handling certain things and not washing your hands thoroughly after. About 1/3 of the human population is infected with this parasite, without even realizing it. The parasite then travels up to the human’s brain and the human begins to act nearly schizophrenic. A male “host” have lower IQs, shorter attention spans, and are more jealous, suspicious, anti-social and less attracted to women. A female “host” is tested to be more outgoing, friendly, are more promiscuous and are more attracted to men.
            
            So what would happen if the Toxoplasma gondii evolved? What if those infected with Toxoplasmosis were able to be controlled easier? What if this parasite could trigger a thirst for domination? Survival of the fittest where only the strongest can ward off these infected humans?
            
            A...Zombie Apocalypse?
            
            Well hell, that’s way off into the future. You’ll probably be dead by then.

            …Guess not. Well, tough luck for you! But these things have to have a weakness, right? Let me give you a few pointers.
            
            Sound. Zombies are attracted to it. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll keep quiet and stay still. Oh, yeah, if you didn’t know…Guns are loud.
            
            They swarm. What’s this mean? Okay, okay. So let’s say you’re going on your little merry way and a zombie pops up. No big deal, let’s just bash their face in with a baseball bat. 3, 2, 1…Well, that was liberating. So you go on to continue your way before hearing more growls and groans behind you. Out of no where, you’re quickly surrounded and devoured. And my point is?
            Choose your battles wisely.
            
            Ah, about bashing their face in. Yeah, that’s how you’re going to have to kill them. Go for the heads. Destroy the brain.
            
            Once you’re bitten, you’re infected, and if they grab you, they’re not letting go.
            
            Fire. So great, you’ve found yourself a flamethrower. One thing to keep in mind is…What’s worse: a zombie? Or a FLAMING ZOMBIE? They’ll take about five minutes to actually burn to death and be remotely affected.
            
            One thing you DO have on your side is speed. They’re slow. If you can’t out run a zombie, you might want to work on getting in shape.

            Ooh! My favorite part. So, what are you going to kick some Zombie ass with? Well, you can technically use a chair for a weapon for all I care, but not EVERYONE can have a freakin’ lightsaber. So here is the weapon sign-up list. How this works is you pick a weapon PACK. Because in the real world, there is NO way you’d stick with the same weapon the whole time. Unless you died instantly. You get an opportunity to change weapons at every point location. HOWEVER, the last weapon in your weapon pack is NOT TO BE FOUND until we make it to a military base. Much too powerful.
            
            Aside from everyday items, here are the badass ones that it’d be a total RP screw-over to give every single person.

            Why would I want this: ...Uh, hello? You get to swing a baseball bat…AT ZOMBIE’S HEADS. Close-range, easy to use, anyone with brute-force can handle this. Then, you get to SLICE HEADS OFF with a sword. And THEN, then you just go Halo on their butts. The force of the Energy Sword will send them flying back into others, easily taking out many at once or clearing the way.

            Why would I want this: Close-range, and hey, you can very easily blow some heads off. Lock and load, baby. There’s a light at the bottom, which is convenient. It also has a magazine holster, so you don’t have to dig around for bullets. As for the sniper rifle…Ever heard of “Boom-headshot”? Score some points somewhere hidden on a roof. And then, the freakin’ rocket launcher. If you’re a gun person or a long-range person, you might want to get this before someone else does. (Also, pistols and small handguns are something anyone can get. They won’t do much damage at all.)

            Why would I want this: Wellll, I admit, the first one is pretty lame. You throw a bomb and hide, from who? Zombies who don’t care? Well! The good news is that there will, of course, be times you’re going to have to hide from humans. Humans get CRAZY in times like these. Plus, you get some pretty damn good weapons in the future. Grenades! Who doesn’t love throwing a round device and watching bodies fly moments later? That, along with the fact that you get LANDMINES after! So you must have some serious skills. Worried about the horde of zombies coming towards you a few miles away that you just evaded? How about you lay down some mines for ‘em. They’re sure to love that. ;D Perfect if you finally want some rest. Just surround the place. …Though the explosions might…well, never mind.

            Why would I want this: First of all, the axe is effective for cracking skulls open. Gruesome, but true. The machete is also pretty badass. A zombie is reaching out for you? Maybe you should consider chopping an arm or two off. And the chainsaw…I don’t think I even need to go into that.

            The School

            Description: The school is the starting point. These locations don’t go in order, however, every person will be at school or at least moments away from the school by the time the Zombie Apocalypse essentially starts. Not everyone is in the same grade, of course, so let’s say that the college; middle, elementary and high school are all in walking distance of each other. That makes four buildings. Each building has five floors and access to the roof and basement. You will have access to nearly everything at the time the apocalypse starts. What is this everything I speak of?
            
            Well, here are some places to keep in mind.
            The cafeteria: Food.
            
            The Janitors closet: Possibly some weapons depending on how creative you want to get.
            
            The Attendance Office: Phones, if you don’t have a cell phone. Also, there’s some first aid kit.
            
            Teacher’s Lounge: Probably some keys to a few cars in the teacher’s parking lot.
            
            Locker Room: Extra clothes, showers, equipment for sports. (AKA: More weapons.)
            
            Parking lot: Cars…’Nuff said.
            
            
            
            The Mall

            Description: So, why would you go to the mall during a Zombie Apocalypse? Well, lucky for you, the apocalypse broke out in broad daylight. This means that every single shop in the mall is open. No annoying gate or locked door. Everything is available to you. That means weapons galore. Golf clubs, tazers, ammo…There’s also first aid, food, clothing. Very good “checkpoint” too. Get split up? The mall is easy to find. Not saying there won’t be zombies, of course. You never know.
            
            
            The Freeway

            Description: Oh, the freeway. How else do you expect to get the hell out of the country? Now, if you haven’t lost or crashed your car by now, you can go quite a bit on the road without stopping. Eventually, you might have to run over some zombies. However…If you’re walking, keep your weapons on you. Like I said, they swarm. You might only see one of them at once, and then suddenly you’re surrounded. Stay close together.
            
            
            The Graveyard

            Description: You do not want to be here. So we already established that this is a parasite, not a ressurection of the dead. But how do we know that this advanced parasite doesn’t have the ability to use the brain to jump start the corpse? What if they could re-animate it? No, this doesn’t mean the person is alive and well with a soul and everything but…I would really stay clear of the graveyard if I were you. So why would you even end up here? Sometimes cars run out of gas at the least convenient time…

            Description: Feel like hijacking a plane? Okay. So, this is dangerous…Very. I’m just going to say now…I’m going to allow plane-hijacking in this role-play. But for the sake of there being an actual struggle…The airport is going to be HARD to get to. And I mean, HARRRRRD. Also...If you suceed, EVERYONE has to be on this plane. I’m not having the group split up in different states/countries. Well, psh, not countries because…ANOTHER RULE, two hours. You get two hours on this plane before A) It starts to crash/run out of gas. B) …There’s are zombies in the bathroom, locked in there by previous people before they ran away, so you have to LAND before you crash.

            Bio: Vanilla (or, Vani), was bored in a quiet town to two middle-class parents. She had a sister and an older brother who were both away at college. Being quite young, she doesn’t have much of a past yet and she doesn’t have a long story to tell. She’s moved once away from her old town for reasons she doesn’t understand, and she wasn’t affected much by it. Though she’s social and friendly, most girls her age aren’t particularly interested in being friends with her.             Personality: Xioimara is hot-headed. She will stand up to almost anyone or anything. She won't take bull from anyone. Xioimara is quite and a thinker though you should remember she has been diagnosed with manic depression.
            
            Bio: Xioimara grew up moving back and forth throughout the world. She lives with her mother currently. Over the past year Xioimara has become intrigued with the idea of the undead. At the same time she has also developed a huge anxiety and fear of zombies.
            
            Likes: Drawing, and playing. She always enjoys finding time to train.
            
            Dislikes: Xioimara has an absolute hatred for the undead. At one point or another she'll probably hate anything that she sees or hears. Xioimara doesn't like being told what to do or being showed up to.
            
            Strengths: Xioimara has outstanding stamina when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, she is powerful, and full of pride.
            
            Weaknesses: Like her strengths, Xioimara has three weaknesses. She has always had a horrible anxiety and fear of the undead, therefore if she's caught off guard she can have a tendancy to freeze up. Xioimara is not fast and is often slowed down in fighting and running because of her bad knees and elbows.

            Personality: Kind, easy-going, sarcastic, can act very mature for his age, the farthest thing from a 'crybaby' and 'complainer', quite shy when first meeting people but opens up more as he gets acquainted.
            
            Biography: Grew up normally with his family, and an older brother that is 15, did baseball as a younger child.

Appearance: Xioimara is slim but not too skinny. She has somewhat defined muscles. Xioimara has short auburn red hair and amber eyes(wears contacts). Her skin is lightly tanned but still she's pretty pale. Xioimara wears black converse, dark red skinny jeans, and black t shirt that is sometimes accompanied by a hoodie. Xioimara stands at about 5' 4''.

Personality: Xioimara is hot-headed. She will stand up to almost anyone or anything. She won't take bull from anyone. Xioimara is quite and a thinker though you should remember she has been diagnosed with manic depression.

Bio: Xioimara grew up moving back and forth throughout the world. She lives with her mother currently. Over the past year Xioimara has become intrigued with the idea of the undead. At the same time she has also developed a huge anxiety and fear of zombies.

Likes: Drawing, and playing. She always enjoys finding time to train.

Dislikes: Xioimara has an absolute hatred for the undead. At one point or another she'll probably hate anything that she sees or hears. Xioimara doesn't like being told what to do or being showed up to.

Strengths: Xioimara has outstanding stamina when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, she is powerful, and full of pride.

Weaknesses: Like her strengths, Xioimara has three weaknesses. She has always had a horrible anxiety and fear of the undead, therefore if she's caught off guard she can have a tendancy to freeze up. Xioimara is not fast and is often slowed down in fighting and running because of her bad knees and elbows.

Bio: Growing up which a brother that always thought that zombies were real and spent most of his time trying to convince everyone that they were comming was in a way hard for Akira. the only good thing that came out of it was that his brother got a lot of safety provisions.

Dislikes: Clowns, Feeling powerless, Death

Strengths: His courage, The fact that he doesn't give up easily.

Appearance: 5 feet tall, for some reason wears the same clothes everyday [but their clean], a plain black t-shirt and camouflage shorts. Quite scrawny, as green eyes and black hair that falls down naturally over his face [looking a bit like bangs, but he pushes them over to the side] and the back of his head [goes down to the 'end' of his head, the beginning of his neck], tan.

Personality: Kind, easy-going, sarcastic, can act very mature for his age, the farthest thing from a 'crybaby' and 'complainer', quite shy when first meeting people but opens up more as he gets acquainted.

Biography: Grew up normally with his family, and an older brother that is 15, did baseball as a younger child.

Likes: Baseball, going completely wild like a kid should, screaming, Saying something 'intelligent'.

Dislikes: Standing still, people who try to control him just because he's younger than them, thinking about something before doing it.

Strengths: Often underestimated by his age and height he packs a big punch.

Weaknesses: Being told what to do, it doesn't turn out pretty.
