Go under mods on the main menu and click downloads to search by most downloaded. There should be some sort of map pack there with all sorts of earth maps. Go under active mods once it's downloaded and click on it activate it. Pick the map when starting a game Then click Load Scenario. It's amazing. Those may be bad instructions, but it should work.

There are a lot of great mods out there.

*sigh* I don't even know anymore. I just feel left out like in family tread in the voxli group or when Lux was talking about his game he's going to make like KH members. I know for a fact I proboby won't be added. Whenever I try to fit in it just seems like I'm always out of the loop. and It'd not just on KHV it's everywhere even in my real life. God I really didnt wanna vent at you what I'm sorry

It actually works best with the Chinese. They get Great Generals much faster and their upgrade cost is much lower. I actually don't like Militaristic states at all. They give you units way too slowly, and they're normally so far away from your capital, it takes forever for them to get close to your cities. I absolutely love cultural city states, they give a huge bonus, and getting social policies is a great way to get ahead.

Also, making sure you settle your cites near horses and iron is a must. The production bonus is almost unfair sometimes.

That's a pretty good accomplishment. I usually don't cause Civilizations to surrender, mostly because I don't do much fighting.

You should download an earth real start map mod. It's a recreation of the globe with all Civs starting in their respective regions. It's always funny to see China controlling western Europe, or Greece settled in South Africa. It was great in Civilization 4, seeing as how religion was involved. Nothing like winning a technological victory with the Jewish Aztecs.

I don't mean to vent on you and I'm worried I'm about to but I really need to get this off my chest. You are friends with most if not all the people on voxli. Do they just not like me or something? Did I say or do something to annoy them? At first alot of them were so warm and friendly but now alot-not all but alot seem really... Idk... I think maybe the word is cold...

Check the side with the text and read it. That is some of the text from the game. Looks like I found it.

All you basically do is research Horseback Riding as fast as you can and keep making horses. You can take over all other Civs with only 4 horses. I don't know if it's any different after the patch, but it was a really effective strategy. I love city states, but I hate them at the same time. I usually help them out for the resources I get for being Allies with them. But if you attack too many city states, the main civilizations will attack you endlessly for the rest of the game.

I have once when I was playing as Japan. I usually just try to make as few cities as possible, and any cities I take over, I just give them to my enemies, make it harder for them to maintain happiness. It's a little cheap, but I don't like having a lot of cities. That's sort of ironic seeing how I play as Russia, but it's easier to defend myself, and it's also easier to keep happy.

If you want a Domination victory, then China is the way to go. They have two really good military bonuses, and there's a really effective strategy to use, but I won't tell you it. It make things more fun trying to find out the best strategy for you. Russia has normally been the weakest Civilization, but in Civilization V, I always use them, no matter what. They get 2 production from strategical resources like horses or iron, which is an enormous help. I'm a science-type victory first, so it helps me build my libraries, my universities and my wonders a lot faster. I've actually never tried doing a diplomacy victory, because like I said, Civilizations can be really sneaky, and try to take your cities when you least expect it, so I usually just take theirs before they have a chance. Horseback riding is a really valuable technology is this game.

I love it. They did a lot of things right by making the graphics nicer, addind social policies, bringing in the much needed hex system, getting rid of disease, and making diplomacy deeper. They also made some mistakes by making the enemy AI dumber, and on higher difficulties making every country ask for help, then betray you. But overall I love it. What civilization do you usually use?

Your layout is charming, ever considered designing? Signatures, graphics perhaps? Or maybe you already meddle in that field, do you?

And no,Im not offened at all!
The way your figuring it is interseting, and it does almost look easier than the current way that we do it...
Out of interest, how would you make the different endings for it? As in the endings for Past tense,Present and Future?

Well, because it is based on Dutch and English, which I probably don't have to tell you, I think it's rather interesting. If an African would to speak in a slow manner I could even understand some of it. It's funny because when I was on holiday two weeks ago, I met two South Africans. They teached me some words, and the language is nothing more then a simpler version of Dutch, some of it mixed with English. For example, we say "lift" (elevator), and they say "hys bakkie", roughly translated: lifting container. For us Dutchies it's a rather amusing language.
