To be honest, I'm not totally sure on the whole discussion of staff activities about banned members to other members, other that it's pretty much not allowed, and I don't think there is much wiggle room in terms of disclosure, unless you either have a close friendship with the member, and then maybe you can ask why they were banned, but that experience was only when I was a normal member. I'm obviously a new staffie, so I am a little iffy on staff conduct at the moment.

To be honest, if you want more/better info, contact the member in question about it. Or obviously in your case, you've been able to take the initiative and do your own investigation! : p

The staff at this point likely ignore questions like this, since most of it is stated in the rules, and they'd rather not continue telling every member the rules when they should already know it. Don't fret, it's not they don't like you but they've got lives, jobs, school, etc as well as managing the site. I've been ignored a number of times (even as staff!) by the staff, it's not personal, at all.

Also don't always read into anything if you see my name in recent visitors to any member, since being staff I've visited plenty of bot or banned accounts. Part of the job, I believe.


Anyway, I'm glad you found me approachable, it's very nice of you to say so, but if you have any concerns all staff will be willing to help if they can. Again, we're just volunteers on the site, we're not paid or anything, we do this so we can make the best experience for each and every member. If you need anything, just ask! : D
