I mean that I should be able to do what I want with my stuff. Even if I want to build a bomb with my kitchen chemicals. I shouldn't have my kitchen chemicals confiscated because someone says I can't have a bomb.

Same with a gun. People say you shouldn't own a gun, but what if you own all of the materials to make a gun? Isn't that the same thing?

Basically, they don't want to take away the gun, they want to take away your strength. My being at liberty do what I want with my stuff is a way of illustrating that.

I do not believe in rights, but I do believe in liberties. One should be at liberty to own anything that they wish to own so long as it is not sentient. If one wishes to form a gun from their own materials, they should be able to do that with their property.

I didn't post in the thread. But I think it should be obvious that in any situation where it is wrong to have a gun, only those who are doing wrong will have guns. Be they the police or other criminals, they will be even more powerful if no one else has what they have. To make someone strong, make everyone else weak.

That is my opinion on the subject.
