Obviously, like Tidus, Dean not having memories to blind him (well... Tidus was just ignorant having come from a dream world)
it would give him an untainted perspective of Yevon.
I mean, Lulu for example is intelligent too, but believed in the teachings because she knew no different.

As for Daichi, he never believed in Yevon. He also had a few idea's about their teachings like Dean did but was too pre-occupied with his own goals to give it much thought, that and he didn't really care.

He's a good guy that fights for what he believes in.
He has great abilities and the Skeith thing is just cool :P
He is pretty funny and has good 'moments of awesome' (or as I christen them 'Kamina moments' lol)
Further more... he had the guts to floor Daichi way back when.
That obviously pissed Daichi off at first, but if anything. Dean earn't Daichi's respect.
That's one of the reasons Daichi gets on well with Dean and has come to Dean for advice before.

For the record though, Jaden's view of them being old-timers is only a joke he holds with them for being centuries old from the technicality of crystal stasis.
He knows really that they are in fact, in body and mind the same age they were before.
Therefore personally, he would see Lightning as another pretty girl too lol
I honestly doubt he'd tease Ryou, he'd probably cheer him on in fact.
Of course, I can see why Ryou wouldn't know that fact lol XD
