I am about give it a go myself, now. While we're on the topic of Genesis games... Is there a save function, or are you supposed to go through it all at once? For a game as notoriously 'difficult' as Ecco (and considering my lack of experience), that sounds inconvenient.

Apparently some Genesis games can save, but Ecco isn't one of them. It uses a password system, so whenever you complete a level, copy down the random string of letters it gives you.

Hey, yeah, as you can see I'm kinda busy myself haha.

No one intends to ignore you. But when we're juggling school and the site and everything in between, replying to lots of casual profile messages is pretty low-priority. My advice: Don't take it personally, okay? I forget about profile messages all the time myself, and often I'm logged in to do something site-related (ex. running an event) so replying slips my mind.
At the very least I believe we all read them even if we don't reply; I know I do. But if you ask how I am every day you're probably going to get a similar response every time xD so sometimes the response doesn't happen. The sentiment is appreciated regardless, though. Just know that not replying every time is bound to happen.

Indeed. That's why I put "ignore" in quotes, as it's just the term I like to use mostly because I'm just trying to be silly and lighten things up (like when Misty mentioned her thing of adding "haha" and "lol" at the end of almost every sentence in her reply to my Message Interpretations thread for the same reason).

Anyway, most of the time, I'm fine. But sometimes it just builds up (like in my last response on Sunday here) and I end up feeling like maybe I'm a burden to the staff. Although I doubt I am because, hey, I'm not a troublemaker, haha! I've gotten some notes regarding some small issues with my post content (like that post you deleted), but no infractions or bans. c:

I will say that I don't really feel like this toward you when I feel like this because you do end up acknowledging and replying eventually. But don't get me wrong, I understand college and work and higher in your guys' priority schedule and I need to not take it personally. =)

In the linked thread, it was only one, but it just intrigues me how I see a lot of users banned when I go through some old threads, like those in Community News & Projects, for example.

I've wondered myself, I've just thought it was the older, harsher rule system in place that meant more bans.

I'd definitely go with harsher rules. I know that when Sara was an admin, things were really strict.

Sorry, that one minute limit was already bumped up from the initial 45 seconds we started with last year I believe, so anything longer probably won't work. I'll talk to the other project coordinators but don't hold your breath; the issue is that if we make an exception for you we obviously have to do it for everyone, and collectively an extra 5 seconds per part could add a lot of time.

Thats understandable, I would also like to thank you for going out of your way and asking them insted of just saying "nope, rules." But yhea, its okay if you guys cant accept that, i completely understand.
