Well, I'm sorry your dreams got shattered. But you shouldn't give up on them. You could still persue your dream as a singer, you could find a way to practice. And for the man of your dreams, I'm sure he's out there, looking for you as we speak. And if you believe in god and Jesus, pray to him, and he'll answer your prayers.
