Still here every day, just not a lot to say in response to people's posts lately. Feb 13, 2019

lol, thanks, I'm always worried whenever I get into a faith discusssion that I might come across intolerant. Actually, I always get worried whenever I argue about anything, that's part of the reason I stopped arguing about Yoda. It just makes me anxious. XP

And you don't have to find the study for me, I'll look it up myself sometime. In American law, when a person sues a newspaper for liable, which is printing lies about a person or company, it is up to the party that is suing the paper to prove that the statement is false, instead of up to the paper to prove that it is right. So pretty much, I said that I don't believe this study, so it is up to me to find it and see wether it is false, and I shouldn't cast it up to you to show me that it is right. :)

Well, I can accept that, although I'd be interested in seeing that study.
Anyway, thanks for respecting me through such a hard message to follow, I know that most people usually just tell me to shut up and stop being intolerant. XD

Oh, I know that you won't require a response from me, but I think that this is an issue that should be dealt with, so you can understand where I'm coming from and why I do the things that I do.

First off, I never said that I wouldn't speak against this publically. You see, the bible says that it is sin, and the bible also says that when a person dies, there's only two places a soul can go: Heaven or Hell. Now it's impossible for sin to enter into heaven, but God doesn't like to see people go to Hell. In fact, it makes him miserable every time it happens. So he sent Jesus down to earth to pay the ultimate price for sin, taking it off of us and dumping it on him, so he could get rid of it for us and we could get into heaven. All we have to do is accept that what we did was sin, accept that it's been paid for, and try to build up our relationship with God.
So, recap: Homosexuality is sin. Sin ultimately leads to Hell. God made a way for you to get rid of sin. You're my friend. I don't want to see you go to Hell, or anyone else for that matter. If I stood by and watched you drive your car of the side of a cliff, while I had a sign saying "ROAD OUT AHEAD. DETOUR THIS WAY --->" and I hid it behind my back, I wouldn't be a very good friend, would I? And even if you weren't the one in the car, say it was a total stranger, I still would want to hold up the sign. That's why I speak against it publically.

Second, I don't believe I am above other people with the same veiws, I just say that while I believe it to be sin, I'm not going to shun somebody for sinning. That would be like me saying "Oh, so you don't think there's a cliff at the end of this road? Fine. Go ahead, you just drive. See where your beliefs get ya. It's not like I care." That woudn't be very nice. I'd rather hold the sign.

As for homosexuality being genetic, that's a bunch of hogwash people came up with to make excuses for it. Homosexuality is not like hair-color or skin-tone, it's a lifestyle, it is an active choice. People are not born gay, unless there was something chemically wrong during the pregnancy. To say that homosexuality is genetic is like saying that mental disabilties are genetic, or alcoholism is genetic. One is due to a problem with the pregnancy, one is a chosen lifestyle. Homosexuality falls under those two categories. And no, homosexuality has not appeared in every species known to human kind. If you can find a reliable news article of any sort, claiming that an animal was homosexual, I will retract this statement. But otherwise, I stand by it that humans are the only species of animal that deal with homosexuality.

And yes, I agree, your existance is not wrong. You merely made a wrong choice. The bible says that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That means me too, and I admit it. I've sinned before, I've lied, I've stolen, I've devalued other people, and according to the bible, no sin is worse than any other sin. So yeah, I'm just as sinful as you, and we're both as sinful as Adolf Hitler. No person in the world is without sin, and no sin is more evil than any other sin. The only difference between you and me is I already dumped my sin on Jesus and he took care of it for me. The bible says: "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else. For at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, for you who pass judgement do the same things." Pretty much, that verse says that I have no right to judge you for sinning, because I myself have sinned. If I judge you for being like me, I am only judging myself. If there's anything God doesn't like, it's a "holier than thou" attitude, which is funny, because he's really the only one with the right to have one. You wouldn't believe how many times in the bible it says that "God does not show favoritism," or "God looks down on the proud but gives grace to the humble," or "For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted."

Sorry it's such a long post, but hey, it's hard to sum up an entire faith and keep it short. XP

      Thats good.
It sure does; for example: youth/children have a more vivid imagination.

That would be a smart choice.
Seeing that I'm only 13, I'm not too experienced in anything.

lol, I know. I'm trying to find a good place to post. Like I said, I usually stick to the Spam-zone, PLayground, and role-playing arena, so I hardly ever venture into the rest of the forums at all. XP
