No, nothing here is illeagle but posibly the ISO. The firmware is leagle. You can download any other firmware Sony puts out, so whats the matter with using your own? The software is not illeagle. You can jail brake any system you own and its still fine. Your only concern is the ISO. If you download it off the web its illeagle. If you extract the ISO yourself you are fine. By law you can have a backup of any information you own. But I dont think it will be dubbed automaticly, unless you are talking about patching it. I was lost for like, the first few sentences there lol.

lol Birth by Sleep is already a psp game XD You just need proper firmwhare lol. I can give you links if you want lol. I use custom firmware to play the japanese version of the game.
