I went in to ask why the hell Vivi's thread was locked. Still no reply.

I'm hoping the thread will be productive but I really don't see to much coming from it.

Yes, they do seem to be dying down. What? is good at diffusing things, which is a quality many of the others lack. I think they want to direct us to Misty's "Rules" thread in the suggestions area.

I'm never sure about genders on here, so I could be wrong.

I think you're the number one target, honestly. Then followed by Vivi and I, but we've been doing this so long that I can't see either of us getting taken out so swiftly. Noise could get it just because he's been very vocal lately.

You, me, Noise...maybe Vivi...and Christhor could spontaneously cross the line too. Those are all the candidates I have in mind.

I foresee a ban. It's almost unavoidable. Really, none of this chaos would have spilled out if Vivi's thread was never locked. I just don't see how they cannot understand this.

Yeah, I've always expected this. I'm not surprised at it happening, just that its right now. Oh well, I think it'll be a fun little foray and then tension within the rainbow will cause an unexpected turn for things. I guarantee not all of them are for this.

The way she backed out of the conversation without giving any real reason for anything is typical of them. She did exactly as I'd expect from her and many others of their rainbow order.

I'm going to have to pull out my vigilante costume soon and do radical stuff. Literally just a few days ago I thought the forum was doing fine then they do this. I don't think they realize their radical actions only inspire more radical actions which in turn cause more problems for them.

It was a staff decision. If you don't like it then I'm sorry, but that's how it is. I don't need to prove anything to you, you won't believe me anyway, and yes, you're right - you probably will never know the full story. But that's just how things are.
I didn't lock it because of my personal reasons - staff did say we would be more strictly enforcing our policy on bullying. It had nothing to do with my personal feelings.
That's the last I'll say in VMs about this issue, so if you choose to respond as such, then so be it.

That thread did in fact have all of that, the first few posts were pushing the border of what is and isn't allowed here hence why I said friendly reminder.
The decision made about that thread was not actually mine alone, it was decided by several other staff members as well, I just happened to be the one to post it.
The fact that no one was fighting when it was locked doesn't undo the fact that it was pretty bad to begin with. If you guys were having fun then by all means, feel free to make another thread. What you call a "show of authority" is just staff enforcing the rules. I don't judge by who I like and don't like - if I see someone getting harassed here I'm going to take action, just like any other staff member. Joke or not, directly attacking and harassing a member repeatedly is not tolerated here.

They do know who they are because staff has spoken to them in the very recent past. And I believe I made it pretty obvious that if people weren't making comments at others they were not the ones that had done something wrong. The threat you speak of is less of a threat and more of a follow up on a verbal warning.
There are things you don't know about Makaze, in terms of how staff deals with things, and to send a message like this to me or any other staff member without knowing the full story is fairly counterproductive. Similarly, so is mocking a staff member.
