Asura can fight in complete zero-g environments? I've seen him fight on the moon... twice... but that's low-g and atmosphere, not none at all. Are you sure he'd be able to do that?
I've seen Asura in action, and since he's an individual, not one of a species of similarly-powered beings, I'll say yes, he can do that. It would have to be a Destroyer as opposed to a Capital Ship Reaper though, since the latter can be up to 2km tall, and that's too much to have falling over in the middle of... wherever. Destroyers are something like 160m in height.

They'll be coming in via Mass Relay jump. Basically, first thing you see of them, they'll be going past Mars at way beyond lightspeed.

Each of the games features a new main character and a new storyline, and is usually set in a seperate Netherworld. However, each game also has a lot of cameo appearances from very recognisable characters, and you can recruit most of them into your team normally, or via dlc.

I only got it because Bushy wanted to. He got it because I agreed to. In other words, only do it if you have somebody to play with.
