Well the last quarter or so will be continously my plot until the end, since that's when things will really heat up, with AS being the villain, and then PD.

He's doing it earlier than I expected, so there may not be an issue at all.

I agree with you entirely. Like this whole Kronos thing. I'm going to force him to have that finished before the World Arc, because I'm not having something that is obviously being set up like that carrying over to the next arc. And I'll probably upstage him straight afterwards, to be an arse.

That would have been one way to do it, yeah. The better way would have been to not have a timeskip though, since really, what did that acomplish?

You're missing my point. I'm not saying that future games won't be good, I'm saying that there was 17 years worth of storyline potential that they've just thrown away. We don't even get to see the characters we care about have their lives; we're just told Kilik doesn't get the girl he loves and she marries some other noble that we never heard of. Sophitia was killed off-screen, Cassandra completely disappeared. Zasalamel died off-screen (we're not even told how) and hasn't been brought back in his next reincarnation for some reason. Only Siegfried and Hilde actually get anything for them; they marry and have kids. Then Hilde loses her entire kingdom for some unexplained reason.

Well every game has new characters, but my thinking is; why did they need a 17 year gap? Could all of those things not have happened in just one, barring the aging of the children? Patroklos is just a reworked Sophitia/Cassandra, as is Pyrrha. Neither are especially unique. They could easily have just been two different characters that took the place of Sophitia and Cassandra for the one game. ZWEI and everyone else could still have appeared, since they're just new. It seems a waste though, because now they've done that, they can't go back and fill in that 17-year gap, because they already said "nothing happened but this". It's a poor move, even though I like the game.

The entire timeskip was a bad move if you ask me. Kilik is the staff guy, Xianghua is the sword girl, and many others are core examples of their fighting style. There was no point at all in skipping forward and then giving us people with near-identical movesets anyway.

Again, not entirely correct, since several high-tier characters have been taken out completely over the years, and Siegfried had his moveset entirely reworked in most games, due to being Nightmare and then not.

You implyed it. Either way, my point is that one reason why I'm so successful against human players is because I know what I'm doing when I use a move. If I want to attack your head, it's your head that will be attacked.

Movesets and inputs are still different. You cannot argue this, it is fact.

You're wrong. I go all out but use the moves that I know how to use rather than buttonbash aimlessly. This means that my style is refined; I know what I'm doing and what it will do exactly. That's not "playing it safe", it's more tactical. Even so, I'm happy to rush in and smack somebody around too. My fighting style generally depends entirely on how I feel at the time.

Also, you failed at Patroklos's critical edge in CC. He never throws his shield. Never. He puts the sword in it, then uses momentum to throw the sword, that's all.
