I don't like judging myself high either. I judge myself honestly. If I think I'm good at something, I won't hesitate to speak up for it. Believe it or not, there's no shame in thinking you're good at something (this something being rational discussion in this case). It beats being falsely modest, and I have enough arguments and experiences to be able to support it, and I have supported it with arguments that you have not refuted.

Conceited = having an excessively favorable opinion of one's abilities, appearance, etc.

2. I admit that I acted upon my intuition there. Of course I've seen and heard enough to assume that my intuition is usually right. I've read and heard what you said there over a hundred times, each time it had the same intention and connotation. Why should yours be any different?

I never de-rep without a good reason. Like someone said in your thread, it says more about you than it says about me. Have you ever stopped to think that it could be you who has been wrong those times (which weren't many at all, you're making a mountain out of a molehill)?

The point I'm trying to make is, curtly put: I'm open to criticism but if you decide to **** on my moderation abilities (which are still esteemed higher than yours, see your thread) it's natural that I ask for a reason. I'm not a bad mod, not a good one either, more or less average. You'd see that if you didn't stare yourself blind on those few de-reps I gave you.
