I shall be writing one of these out of boredom and for those who ask and perhaps collecting them together in the Original Work section. I hope you do not mind if I begin with you and a few others as a test.

Cariad

A story about two childhood friends, a female and male, separated in a series of Welsh coal strikes. They are at first forced apart when their mining village erupts in huge riots, and the female runs off in agony after seeing the death of her mother. The male, harbouring a secret love for her, begins to follow her off into the countryside. They meet at a sheep farm, where the male notices the girl has mentally changed considerably, and a mental block on the past allows her to refuse to acknowledge the boy ever again. The boy, heartbroken, decides to craft something for the girl to show his love for him. Knowing that she still appears to love coal despite the tragedy that had occurred, he, still being his extremely naive self, decides to head into the old coal mines. Meanwhile, falling off a rather large sheep after attempting to ride it jolts her memory, and after asking the locals if they had seen the boy, she goes off to the old coal mines to rescue him. The coal mines act as a series of barriers and mazes between the girl and boy, but eventually they find each other and are able to reconcile their love. They escape together, though unconscious.
