The King of Vidia had no idea who to choose as his heir.
Princess Noi would have become Queen since she was firstborn and of age.
However, she wanted to travel and did not want the responsibility.
All the same, Having a woman take the throne when a man was suitable was frowned upon.
Prince Lee was the best choice, being of age as well and male. However, he was cruel and his father knew it.
Vidia would go through hardships with him as King.
Lee desperately wanted the title of King for himself.
The beautiful princess Jayn was too young to be Queen and had never showed any interest in the throne.
She always assumed her older brother or sister would take the throne before she could.
She also had a hidden gift, something her father knew nothing about.
The King decided he couldn't choose and devised a way to decide who would rule Vidia.
