I'm just having some issues with writing up the intro/story. My brain is disagreeing with my want to write! DX

I'm going to create a list of spells first years can use. Of course, I'm expecting someone to pull a "my-character-is-like-Hermione-and-can-use-whatever-he/she-wants."

Oooh! That's good! Since it's so many years later, the age of students and the year they're in doesn't have to be the same. For example, a first year could be 13 years old instead of 11. It could be that Hogwarts takes first years at age 11, but you can join the school as a first year later for whatever reason.
I found this list and it's pretty good. But it doesn't have what year the spells are learned...

I had been worrying about that too. I really want to avoid as much god modding as possible. I was thinking of creating (or finding via the interwebz) a list of spells for each year. I'm still trying to make up my mind about what years the group of kids will be. Starting them all in their first year gives the RP a potentially longer run, but I don't know how many people would want their character to be 11. (I don't have a problem with it.)

You're welcome~! Eh, I just think of Hayao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service when I falter in a talent I love to do and then I find myself not being able to do it one day. Like when the main character Kiki lost her abilities to fly (she's a witch so she has to, and sorry if you already know this. D: ), one of her friends told her to take a break, and then Kiki found her talent again. xD

But the KHV awards are for mostly Spam Zoners. A good number of RPers rarely venture out of the RP Arena.

Alrighty! So the basic ideas that I'm running with are:
~It's a good hundred or so years since the end of the 7th book
~There's a group of kids (mostly the characters that will be created by the people who join the thread), some in the same house and some in different houses, who are more into the legend of the famous Boy Who Lived than others are.
~This group of kids wants to go to all the places he's been and see all the things he did
~Suddenly, students start to go missing, and eventually, one of the group has vanished too
~"The third round begins" is found carved into the doors to the Great Hall.
~The group comes to the conclusion, after doing a little evidence gathering, that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened again. Someone at the school still thinks the way that Purebloods did a hundred years ago.

Like? Suggestions?
