I've taken chorus since I've had electives, so breathing with my diaphragm is like second nature to me. It's easy, though, all you gotta do to practice is like not move your shoulders when breathing, take deeeeeep breaths, and use your stomach muscles when inhaling and exhaling.

that actually really helped a whole lot. it was short, but it was simple and easy to understand.

Yeah, I don't particularly like pig squealing either, but it's the only one I know how to do. Myself, I prefer metalcore to death metal. I think there are some tutorials on growling on youtube, both inhaling and exhaling. i can also growl, but it's till inhale.

okay, you are talking about what I think you're talking about then. I can inhale growl, like, pig squeals and stuff, but that's about it. It's ironic, too, because i usually do clean vocals in a band I'm in, and pig squealing ruins your voice.

Oh, you do screams? Or are you talking about some other thing which I have no idea about?
