Wll, at firstly mom wasn't too keen on me "wasting" twenty bucks on it, as she thought it was just a stupid toy. I figured if I got the one with the most features, she'd consider it to be a bit less of a "waste". Besides that, it's got a red and blue setting along with a hidden compartment.

Or you could always say that an ancient ancestor of hers must've been of another species that's been long since forgotten. Exposure to Amy and Rory, who had some extended exposure to the TARDIS (that harmless radiation that they mention in Army of Ghosts and Doomsday), activated the dormant cells and she, in turn, gained some of the traits of that species.

Well... you could always explain the magic with a bit of alien DNA passed down from relatives on either side of the family. Science and aliens are usually the answer in Doctor Who.

Wow... if I didn't know any better, I'd say that you watched series six already. Just wait until you see how accurate you were on some of your OC character traits. If nothing else, you and Moffat think alike.
