It is, I haven't read the Darth Bane series. But part of why it's so difficult for me to read KotOR fanfics is because no one can write Revan/Bastila to my liking, it becomes far too lovey dovey which is just so out of character for them, imo. :x

I think the second game's story would have been better if it'd been properly finished. It lacked any sort of concrete romance plot, which was such a big part of the first game if you played male, and the ending is the same regardless of whether you play on the light side or the dark side. Male romances I think had good options, you were allowed to express your interest in Mira but I believe she brushed it off and said that you were too old for her. Visas was a little annoying but so was the Handmaiden, and I think both got more interesting as you spoke to them more. But there were actual romance scenes when you play as male. If you play female that's the thing, you don't get a romance plot. You watch Atton and Mical fight over you, and it's pretty clear that they're both into you, but there are no conversations you're in regarding it, aside from the final one with Kreia when you ask if Atton loved you.

asdfghjkl; I think the Revan/Bastila romance was just so good that nothing in the second game could ever top it, haha.

Yeah that's the thing, I like how Revan is all mysterious--I'm afraid the book might ruin that. :'c Plus if they make awful Bastila/Revan scenes I will be unhappy and rewrite every single one.

I played as a guy first too, haha. In the first game the male storyline really is the more enjoyable one, but in the second I could go either way--Brianna entertains me a lot. But then again, Atton. :3
I usually used one of the Asian heads for her, haha.

Well, for Revan I'm pretty sure I used the canon head--the one with the mullet? In the TOR holonet they show the back of him, not his face though.

I think the canon Exile is the blonde haired one.

Yeah I'm trying to stay optimistic about it and keep an open mind.

I think part of my problem is that this will ruin 50% of my fanfiction material, haha.
