In your Admin CP, you should have a dropdown for it.

If you have existing pages and you don't know their identifier:
Admin CP -> vBa CMPS -> Edit Pages
There is a column which lists the identifier.

Also it's true those are DMA however texture mods work as long as you have that character with you at all times in all rooms.
And as for the animation mod, it's possible to make it work in every room as well if you know how to.

I don't believe you can edit it later, you can only modify it when making a new page.

I really don't think the problem is with the tab, I think it's with the page itself. If you try following the link to the page without using the tab, does it work?

There are a few major things you have to fill in when adding a page:
Page Title: At the top of your browser, this is what it will say. Pretty self-explanatory.
Page Identifier: vBa by default I believe uses the link structure http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?page=PAGEIDENTIFIER. So, fill in your page identifier here. It must be unique to this page.
Page Active: Set to yes, unless you'd like the page to only be visible to mods & admins.

Now, when adding the tab, in the URL box you put the link to the page you made with vBa. It will be something like this: http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?page=PAGEIDENTIFIER

You can direct the tab anywhere, but the showthread page is not related to vBa, that's just a standard vBulletin page. I mean as in your content pages.

Then the problem is with the page it is linking to, which I assume is a vBadvanced page. Make sure you've set up the page correctly.

I doubt that it would, I think the problem is with the page you are trying to link to. Try to set the tabs to link to Google or something, just to test if they're working.

In the ACP, just fill in the URL you'd like the button to point to. If the page isn't working then there's something wrong with the page itself.

And to make the Admin CP harder to find, you can change the directory it is in. By default, it's yoursite.com/admincp, and anyone with vBulletin knowledge will know that. To change the directory, rename the 'admincp' folder on your server (for example purposes, we'll say you're changing it to "acp"). Then, open your config.php file and find this part:
