There's adifference between normal summon and synchro summon. Synchro summon is considered special summoning

Wow...I hadn't thought of that but you're right...I'd been thinking about using that card in my Deck later too.

That card really is quite useful. It even lets you destroy a Monster that could normally not be destroyed in battle.:D Such as nuisances like Marshmallon and Spirit Reaper.
