Hey everyone, the Famitsu website posted a new article on Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, which contains details on the panel system. There are also images from last week's scans that contain cutscenes and multi-player gameplay from the title. The images are posted below. Translations will be done and added a little later today from me.



In mission mode there is a rule that freely changes. Apparently the use of magic is prohibited. If the setting is changed the damage to the enemy is then lowered. (Mike's Note: That was my first rough translation in the post. xD)


The Organization members can use "Limit Hit". The power that's involved in this attack can be very different for each character. All members except Xion can use Limit Hit in the beginning?





King Mickey and Riku meet in the forest that's located in Twilight Town. Riku mentions to King Mickey that the power of darkness is very uneasy.



There is a duty that needs to be done with Roxas. Xaldin notices that the Beast values the rose.

Hey everyone, it appears that another interview with Nomura has been added. This interview appears to be very long and talks about four topics for the Kingdom Hearts series. Once again, I'll try to get translations up for this interview ASAP. In the mean time, click HERE to access the interview page. Projecting KINGDOM HEARTS
The start of the interview contains information on the general Kingdom Hearts series success. Kingdom Hearts already has two new titles coming out for the series. "It is a unique game that features various elements with a variety of Disney characters." Final Fantasy characters are also placed as guests in the Disney classic worlds, which "makes a good mix. I think it is a title that everyone can widely enjoy."


"It's the first time that the Kingdom Hearts series has been added to the DS." Apparently there were opinions from people saying that he should add the series to the Nintendo DS. The interview also adds a response to the way Days works on the DS. In this part, its a rough translation, but Nomura is talking about the touch screen and how the battle appears on the upper screen. Nomura mentioned that his previous work The World Ends with You gave him a lot of experience and inspiration for creating Days on the DS.

Later in the interview, Nomura explained that his ideas of making a 3D RPG, starting when he had involvement with Final Fantasy: VII. During that time period Mario 64 was released on the Nintendo 64 and Nomura was very interested in giving an RPG some sort of feeling that he got from that title. It was only years later, before that was possible. I guess you can say that Mario inspired Kingdom Hearts.

Nomura explains the difference between Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Nomura added that there are many worlds and new story lines for Final Fantasy, but for Kingdom Hearts it's all in the same universe.

Hey everyone, today we've obtained a commercial that recently aired on television for Japan. There are a couple of new scenes, but overall there's not a large amount of new content. The commercial is very short and it lasts for only fifteen seconds. Stay with KHV for more exciting news on Days. We are almost eight days away from the release in Japan.

First off, I can't believe the huge amount of content we've been getting from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Hey everyone, a new interview with Nomura was added in the latest issue of Dengeki DS&Wii. Translations for the interview are below, but they won't be finished until classes are over. In this update, I'll be translating as I get to my computer classes later today. By the way, 9 more days till the release of Day in Japan.

» At one point in the interview, Nomura explains the difference between Roxas in KHII and in Days. He explained that Roxas “will think this time". The game becomes very sad and it becomes a story that makes you feel bad for the character as he's going through pain.

» Nomura stated that "the power of magic is consciously improved".
» Nomura mentions that a new chapter will be released for Coded in June.
» Nomura stated "I want to put Birth By Sleep on the market within the year."

» It's reported that Saix ordered Roxas to keep a journal. It appears Roxas writes about the days.

New Scan
It appears that two new scans have surfaced. In these two particular scans, Goofy and Donald are seen in the multi-player mode with Organization XIII.
