KH-Vids | Your ultimate source for Kingdom Hearts media

Hello everyone! Today (December 28th) marks the seventh anniversary of KH-Vids! While the original site was opened on the 19th, the forums were not opened until the 28th—as the site has become increasingly forum-centric over the years, we will often celebrate on the 28th.

Now, unlike last year, we don’t have a new theme for the site to debut. But that doesn’t mean nothing happened this past year, nor does it mean that there’s nothing to look forward to! This past August saw the biggest change for the site since 2006—we moved to a new forum platform that we have only just cracked the surface of. It has seriously refreshed the site and we’re excited to move even further into its capabilities! We have a lot planned for the next year of KH-Vids, even some things going on now—we’re currently having our third annual Castle Oblivion contest, and we’re cooking up some more exciting events for the New Year, so stay with us.

In terms of Kingdom Hearts, we saw the release of Dream Drop Distance, for which we were able to provide a collection of high quality, direct video rips, thanks to Mixt! Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix was also announced, and while we still have no news on a worldwide release, this opens the possibility for even higher quality Kingdom Hearts cutscenes! The biggest news of all is probably the Kingdom Hearts series turning a full decade old—just how old does that make you feel?

Every anniversary I reflect upon just how far the site has come, and truthfully, we could not have made it this far without our lovely userbase. You all are what make this site tick, with your continued support. On behalf of the entire KH-Vids staff, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you.

Kingdom Hearts news galore, as more screenshots and information arise on the anticipated collection release. The latesst famitsu reveals series staff comments, changed aspects, and most other tidbits of repeated information. Along with the article, several screenshots and renders were uploaded by Famitsu and 4Gamer, showing the high quality upgrade the games have received with some snapshots from the trailer as well.

And for something to look at, here are 50 new HD screenshots courtesy of Famitsu. You will find newly remodeled renders, cutscenes, and gameplay in all it's glorious splendor. You will notice that Deep Jungle will return for the HD ReMix, as well as a slightly altered gummi system. The first Trophy has also revealed itself with the Japanese translated title: "Hero in the Making"

Hello KH-Vids! I'm looking to run my own show on the radio or podcast that will feature interviews with the voice talents of KH-Vids from the fandub production. For January, I'm looking to interview our voice actor Greater_bloo, but I need your help KH-Vids.

1. Please submit questions for Greater_bloo to ask me.
2. Please submit questions for me to ask Greater_bloo.
3. Last but not least, please come up with a name for our show. Think of things like mic, voicing, acting, actors etc. I came up with titles such as "KH-Vids: The open mic, KH-Vids: Fandubbers Unleashed, KH-Vids: Who's Talking Now?"

On January 1 2013, I will pick the best name for our show, along with questions that have been asked by you - the members and visitors of KH-Vids. You can expect the show to be posted on our front page by January 5 2013. Not sure who Greater_bloo is? Take a look at one of our recent projects where we voice as Ven and Vanitas.
