Square recently held a private conference at GDC with some news we think you guys are really going to flip over! We haven’t got all the details yet but this seems to finally be it—Kingdom Hearts 3!

• Release sometime after KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX
• Production has been going on in secret for a while now
• Codename “Project <3”
• Rumored locations:
  • Agrabah, a Kingdom Hearts classic at this point
  • Andy’s Room, from Disney & Pixar’s Toy Story. Buzz and Woody models were found in Kingdom Hearts II (though they were unused), so it’s unsurprising the next numbered Kingdom Hearts title will feature them!
  • More Pixar worlds are hinted to appear
• The title will feature Sora, Riku, Donald, and Goofy as main party members (no word on whether the previous three character limit will be adjusted). Kairi is rumored to be a playable character but little is known about the role she’ll play.
• New Final Fantasy characters from XII and XIII will make cameos

As some of you guys are probably aware Square is going through some tough financial times—the announcement and development of Project <3 does seem very sudden, so I was skeptical at first, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were going to try to put out some titles they know will sell well in order to make up for losses.

The big question is, though: PS3? PS4? Multi-platform?

Whatever it is, this is the biggest news we've had in years!

Since Tokyopop's 2011 closing, rights have been unclaimed for localizing Kingdom Hearts Manga. Queue Yen Press, a manga publishing division, that has claimed the rights for not only Kingdom Hearts, but Inu x Boku SS, Watamote, and Wolf Children.

When can you expect some lovely English Manga, you might ask? Here are some announced release dates for the Kingdom Hearts series;

Hey guys, as you all probably saw I closed the forums a bit earlier to upgrade us from Xenforo 1.1.3 to 1.1.4. It's a rather small release with some bug fixes that don't really affect most of you directly, so I don't have many changes to highlight (although you can now add a poll to an existing thread!), but if you're having any troubles from this update please post in here and let me know.

Disney D23 is an official Disney fan club that was founded in 2009 and is sponsored by the Walt Disney Company. This year, they are holding the event in Japan, and will feature exclusive KH content!
Don't get to excited, as there has been no mention of the sort on future titles, but Mr. Shinji Hashimoto (Producer) is set to appear, along with several Voice Actors from the series. The event known as the "Kingdom Hearts Fun Event," will be October 14th 2013 from 3-4 PM.

Details: I just adore this video, the atmosphere is impeccable. The effects are subtle and the text simple -- which I think is a great strength here as they're used wonderfully to help make the video pop. It's simplistic, but extremely effective. Awesome, awesome job on this! My only critique is that I wish there was more variety with the text placement; I would have liked to have seen it outside of the top-right corner a bit more.

Details: Absolutely wonderful. The effects and text are non-intrusive and complement the footage well, and the voice layovers are really well placed. The result is something genuinely emotional, and the end especially packs a punch! Fantastic work! My only advice is to be careful of typos, haha, but it happens.

4. KH - Me & You

Details: Short but sweet! Lots of cool effects in this one, I really enjoyed it. Really fun and eye popping. Using static images is always a bit risky and some of the transitions & text felt a little out of place to me, so I suppose if I had any critique for this it would be to use them sparingly, and to make sure nothing sits still on the screen for too long. Nice work!

Details: Very emotional! The bold text was an interesting choice but it worked well to emphasize the lyrics, and helped create the atmosphere. Nice work with the voice overs as well; when they're too loud they can be distracting but they fit right in.

Details: Really sweet, gentle video, great job! Solid editing overall. In terms of critique, I felt the overlay was nice but perhaps a bit heavy. Beautiful work!
