The European and US Playstation Blogs have finally given the official release dates of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix for both regions!

North America: September 10th, 2013
Europe: September 13th, 2013

The blogs also announced that, in both regions, those that pre-order the HD Collection will receive a Limited Edition art book at no extra cost. How cool is that?

Details: Great vibes during the entire video, definitely a strong message of friendship. Enjoying every little moment is what really makes the difference, and that’s what stood out as first place!

Details: The video was very upbeat and the flow was very pleasant. The connection between a ‘new life’ and the roles between Sora and Roxas has an uncanny feel and fits the song perfectly.

Details: This was surprisingly amusing, a very upbeat and vertigo-like video. Fits perfectly with Roxas’ confusion about who he is in Twilight Town.

4. Hurricane

Details: Very powerful and deep video about the struggles between Sora and Kairi, as if everything is a ‘hurricane.’ Really beautiful transitions, and marvelous use of in game quotes.

Hi guys! We've got some really exciting news.

Thanks to our illustrious recorder Mixt, we're proud to present all of the cutscenes from KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 REMIX: 358/2 Days! The videos are in their original Japanese (still waiting on that Fall 2013 international release, Square!) in lovely 1080p!

Mixt has really done a great job with these so be sure to give him a big thank you!

Hello there KH-Vidians. Mixt here as a first time Top 5 host. And what a week it was. I'm always impressed at what our editors can do, and this week was not an easy pick. We ran the gambit from upbeat and flashy to slow and pensive.

Details: A nicely done collab where both parties melded together very well. It would have been nice to see some video softening to mask the aliasing (particularly on zoomed shots), but that is easier said than done without just making it blurry.

2. Ocean Avenue

Song: Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard
Details: A rather overused song in the AMV world, but this video did a very nice job with it. There were a few points where it felt to me like the video's flow was out pacing the song's, but the lyric matching and beat matching were very well done. Plus it managed to cover a wide array of story angles and tie them all together without feeling too much like it was jumping around. I would mostly say to tone the effects down a bit as there is a fine line between pretty and distracting.

Details: A very fitting song to the KH series. The flow was a nice match and there was a nice consistent tone. However I would have liked to see more variety in the clips, and the flash effects often seemed too frequent and strong especially on the black.

Song: Flowers For A Ghost by Thriving Ivory (with dialogue from Teen Wolf)
Details: A very serious video to tug at your heartstrings, and some of the better audio editing I've seen in awhile. Unfortunately the clips seemed to mostly be there to match tone and not meaning. And despite the text being minimalistic it's placement and constant presence made it hard to not just read through the video.

5. KH-Come and get it(SoraxVentusxRoxas)

Song: Come & Get It by Krewella
Details: This video had some nice effects, and good beat matching. There were just two issues I found that stopped it from being higher on the list. First is that the video was too short focus on three characters, and thus there didn't seem to be much meaning behind it. Second, some of the effects seemed hastily added and ended up breaking flow more than adding emphasis.

"1.5 HD Remix - Day 357 (Xion's End)" continues the fandub production for Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix. Our team will be voicing selected scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days up until the international release.

Our second video from the production continues with a familiar scene. Remember the final scene between Xion and Roxas? Yes, it's not a "new" rendered scene from the title, however our team felt that it was worth recording due to the quality of the scene.

Our plan is to release somewhere between 8-12 videos before the official English release. Have a scene in mind? Let us know in the comments section below.
