IGN has posted a small chunk of an interview with executive producer; Shinji Hashimoto. Hashimoto discusses the progress on Kingdom Hearts 3 and that to make it great, fans will have to wait a little longer, since both KH3 and Final Fantasy XV have the same director, The full interview will be posted later this week, but the pieces from the article can be read below.

Not much beyond basic information, but the Japanese KH3 page is up and running. Note that this is a page on the Playstation site and not the official Square site. The above trailer screenshot and the logo are the only images released.

Haven't pre-ordered Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix yet? (Yeah, me neither...) Well, for all you artsists out there, Gematsu is hosting an open fan art contest for a a free copy of the HD ReMix! The top two winners will receive the copy, but the deadline is September 10th 2013, so you have less than a week to submit. (Began on the 3rd, my bad for late notice) Great if you have some fan art saved, but if not, get drawing! Contest details are below, winners are announced after voting on September 17th 2013.

The Kingdom Hearts Facebook page has updated with a new launch event at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California. On Sunday, September 8th from Noon to 6pm, fans will have the opportunity to party, play, and purchase the collection a few days in advance. Below is a list of some of the highlights expected at the event, so if you're in the area, get your KH fandom on!
