Hello all! As you may or may not know a gaming event called Gamescom is currently taking place in Cologne, Germany and it seems Square has decided to release some new screenshots of their upcoming HD Collection! The screenshots in question are all from Birth by Sleep.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new episode of the KH-Vids Podcast! This week your usual hosts -- @Misty, @Llave, and @libregkd -- are joined by one of the recipients of the Most Wanted Podcast Guest Award, @Princess ♥, for a discussion on some of the recent announcements for Twitch.TV.

The popular streaming service is in the process of being purchased by Google's YouTube division, leaving many users in a panic after some of the unwelcome changes that Google made to YouTube after their purchase in 2006. With a new flood of emails about changes to the VOD storage system and copyright matching for audio in VODs, many Twitch users are now calling this the end-of-days for Twitch. We explain all the changes announced, what they mean for Twitch's future, and what streaming services we would like to try in the future.

Finally, we answer a user-submitted question from @Graxe and go over some site and community news, including our new Fundraising Nights.

Hey there all you Kingdom Hearts kids! Do you enjoy video game streams? Do you enjoy new site features? And, most importantly, do you enjoy watching the staff make fun of each other and Misty in particular?

If you answered yes to all of these questions, you’re in the right place!

Fundraising Night, an idea conceived and brought forth by the ever lovely @Stardust, will be a streaming event hosted by the staff in an effort to raise donations for the site. It is no secret that typically, when it comes to add-ons that cost money, the staff usually foots the bill to bring it site-side. As a result of this, it can be difficult to obtain add-ons as soon as we’d like due to being pressed for money in other areas of life.

To counteract this, we would like to raise donations for these add-ons, as well as prizes for future events. As seen with the Trivia Tournament and the 10th Anniversary Event, we do like to hand out physical gifts for site competitions, and would be more than willing to do so again in the future! And, what better way to raise donations than through something entertaining for the whole site to join in on?

As this first few streams will be largely trial and error, here’s a few basic things to keep in mind:

• Please behave appropriately in the chat. As this is an official KHV sponsored event, KHV’s rules do apply here.
  
• You are not required to donate. As we are all mostly high school/university aged, it is definitely understandable if money is tight for you. Equally as important, just because you do donate does not mean you receive a boon of special bonuses and/or treatment. While it is hoped that we do receive some form of donations, we do want you all to be able to enjoy the stream more than anything.

Streaming
For the most part, we will be utilizing the KHVidsNet Twitch channel to do our streaming. At the moment, we don’t have an exact time frame for how long the stream will be going, but it will certainly not be an all day affair.

For streams in which a Visual Novel and other similar genres will be played, we will be utilizing our Ustream account. Streams that will be on Twitch will be indicated by this bold red, while streams utilizing Ustream will be indicated by this bold blue.

The first couple of streams we have lined up will be 1-2 player games, although we will usually try to have additional staff in the chat to talk (and taunt) the player. We do have some multiplayer games in discussion though, so you can definitely expect to see them soon.

Amazon.co.jp has revealed the custom PS3 theme Japanese players will get with the purchase of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix (which can be seen below). It is currently unknown if this theme will be released in the international version of the upcoming remaster.
