The KH-Vids Podcast is back with a brand new episode, just for you!

Joined by @Llaverion and @Sebax, your podcast crew (@Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn) begin by discussing your regularly scheduled Kingdom Hearts news and updates! We address Bill Farmer's tweet about Kingdom Hearts 3 (and subsequent backpedaling), Kingdom Hearts 2.5's sales, and the loss of Chikao Ohtsuka, the Japanese voice actor for Master Xehanort.

From there we move along to our major topic for the week, the lack of representation for people of color in this year's Oscar nominations. We cite some horrifying statistics re: Hollywood & the Academy's 'straight white male' hegemony and the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag, and branch into discussions about Disney's weird relationship with diverse films and The Interview.

Finally, we answer user-submitted questions! @Graxe asks what we would do if we woke up wearing the Majora's Mask, @Highlandeɼ is interested in what games KHV has made us want to play, and @KHGrl15 makes us choose a fictional universe to live in!

Please everyone listen, enjoy, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Chikao Ohtsuka; The Japanese voice actor for Master Xehanort and Captain Hook, passed away on January 15th 2015 due to ischemic heart failure.

Ohtsuka is well known for his voice work in playing many villains in animes, films and video games. Notable roles of his include Doctor Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Professor Moriarty from Sherlock Hound, Gold Roger in One Piece, Wario in various Nintento titles, Doctor Cidolfus Demen Bunansa in Final Fantasy XII, Disney's Captain Hook, and of course, the villainous Master Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts.

Dead at the age of 85, he is survived by his 55 year old son; Akio, whom he has performed with on several occasions. Akio voices Ansem: Seeker of Darkness in the Kingdom Hearts Franchise.

May you find peace in the realm of darkness Ohtsuka.
The world shall miss your villainous ways.

Reliable NPD sales leaker over at NeoGAF, gave some insight to software sales in the US for December. According to the NPD report, the Kingdom Hearts HD collection released last month managed to sell approximately 275,000 units in the US! These sales figures closely match what the 1.5 collection was able to sell in it's opening month back in September 2013, so congratulations KH for the continued strong sales!
Bill Farmer; the Voice actor who plays Goofy, has made recent tweets that he has finished recording his lines for Kingdom Hearts III and that we may be expecting it sometime this year! He has made numerous replies to fan speculation and seems fairly confident in his word that we can expect the long awaited title in 2015.

This may be nothing, but it seems we may be expecting more KH3 news sooner than we think. If not the game, we can at least expect plenty of updates in the near future!
